At what point would you decide that the jumper you're wearing is destroyed to the point of unfeasible to wear?

I had a T Shirt it was quite large and I used to wear it as like my pajama t shirt, it was just kinda big and ripped and then one day I was just like, I should throw this away and I did - along with boxers that had holes in an socks with holes in.

However I dont think I could keep a jumper with a sleeve torn off.

I love my brother.
And I love my friends
I also love my community I got from taking action within it.
I love the masons I met.
I love the politicians I encountered.
I loved to help my local government disregarding their political loyalties.

Why haven't you NEET's tried to join the community that beckons for you? It's as easy as joining any volunteering group. You have so much to earn from it. I get unlimited food now I've joined a community food bank. Why haven't you? Don't suffer alone.

yeah it becomes pyjamas until it's actually uncomfortable to wear.

holes in socks, you can feel them walking around. holes in boxers/jeans, it's like there's some specific type of irritation/itchiness and you're always AWARE it's there.

if a moth has been at some jumper or you've torn a hole in the shoulder/armpit, you can even get away with it out and about. hell maybe even convince people it's some bohemian tramp chic, think picrel.

Because Addiction is the most powerful force in the natura lworld for a human only God is greater than addictions. U need something stronger than heroin addiction to beat it. It works for a reason, whether you call it a higher power instead like AA, I believe you need something like that, And addiction is from the absence of that in our world when it ws previously part of life for everybody.Ur not going to become sober thru the power of Charles Darwin your just not. AA is a pseudo religion that claims you cannot enjoy a beer without 'relapsing'. It's antithetical to human nature, Being able to enjoy a beer in moderation is a key to freeing yourself from alcohol, alas, AA believes that complete abstinence is the answer. It's birthed from crazy Yank sentiments. BEST TO IGNORE THEM.

not having a microwave, reheating rice is one of the cases where it would be handy. but i can just stir fry leftover rice with a bit of oil, which is lush.
suppose microwaves are good at popcorn, too, but i don't go round making popcorn.

just frustrating how many ready meals EXPECT a microwave. sometimes these curry ones give you the option of 3 mins in the microwave, or 30 minutes in the oven. that's electricity i'm using.

also the healthy ones that include rice need to stop using white rice, just swap it out for brown basmati (the best rice) that's what i say.

I understand the contrarianism of not wanting an air fryer, I too used to be like that when I lived in a flat and simply didn't have the kitchen space. Since moving into a big boy house and acquiring one though I can safely say I rarely use the oven, maybe once every two weeks it gets turned on. Air fryers are just better at cooking stuff than ovens, mine is even big enough that I can squash a relatively small pizza in there. People that are ideologically opposed to them because they're popular are just shooting themselves in the foot. I GET IT! I am like that in many ways, but technology marches on and often does make things worse but can make your life easier.

how it should be, lad. i worry for the day they start building bedsits without ovens because you can just buy an airfryer can't you? (like how some have those combi ovens installed).

but in practice it's a small oven it suits me perfectly for one meal. only downside is it's SO small that if something ends up on the top (a Chicago Town mini pizza abed some chips, say) then the top gets grilled by the heating element while the hot air doesn't circulate for everything else.

Smelly NEET foids only want non-smelly millionaires who are at least 6 feet tall, 6 inches long and with a 6 pack. And they can easily get them on dating apps.
>>
>>83594076
Foids shouldn't be allowed to choose. The smelliest skinny ones should be gifted to non-obese male NEETs.

i mean it could be worse in the sense of an abusive relationship. but i think the common thread is some people get their hooks in, it becomes a relationship, they don't want to leave.

i broke off a relationship because i am a mentally ill, drug-addicted NEET. i don't want to be that guy in a relationship, it's unfair on the other person i feel.
>>

Truth nuke. The most desirable foids should be assigned to men based on criteria that society should decide in order to motivate men to be useful for society. Everyone would win.

I dont hate all moids ive had bad experiences with many of them. So what the fuck should I feel like.
In primary school I was quite ugly and chubby a popular moid suddenly pretended he cares about me and wants to be my friend. He walked me home listened to me, smiled at me. It was amazing.
In the end, he wanted my PS1, I was so happy and gullible being seen by a boy, I sold it to him like 10% of the rrp price.
After that, I was invisible to him.

These kind of experiences, repeated over years, yes I dont hate all moids, but I dont trust them, how can I, I know what theyre like.

probably, but mostly through sheer popularity. some people do seem genuinely angry at/about him.

I'd ask your doctor if then can do a vitmain D blood test, say your diet is processed foods and you work nights and are feeling drained all the time and need it checked.
>>
>>83594611
is there any at-home test i can do?

Maybe, idk.
Advantage of the gp tests is if it's really low they can fix it right there and then with a massive 40000iu dose and then give you a perscription for tablets and a dosing schedule, also they MAY do a complete vitamin level panel and spot other things.
It's better to have the nurse at the gp do it for this reason.

I've paid my taxes so you can use this service for free, so take advantage please otherwise it'll go on birth care for forrens.

Hi, that poster isnt me.I went back to lurking,I dont hate men, but Im very stressed with them at the moment.

Two different guys at my work place coming on to me,it makes me nervous af.
I work in a high street shop part time.

I used to be full time, Ive worked with both of them a lot in the past.
Yesterday at my shift Guy 1 said hed like to go out for dinner with me some time I said Okay yes!

(because I dont want to be mean, Im quite shy I dont want to have drama, awkwardness at work)
But I only want to go for dinner if its only friendly not a date.. Im not in a relationship and Im not looking for one right now, dont want a FWB nothing like that just a normal friend. I should have said that.

Guy 2, constantly fusses on me doing gentlemanly stuff, brings me cups of tea, holds the door for me, carries stuff for me. Its a bit overwhelming to be honest.

I really like both of them as co workers, yes Im only part time now but I still see them every week at work, we're all on work group chat, I hear from them quite often.

I just want to come in from work. Relax. Unwind from the day and now its like this stress after shifts now I feel stuck with them at work I feel horrible for feeling that I just want things to go back to normal. It was easier when I had a bf, "I have a bf" end of story.

I could say Im seeing someone outside of work, i don't want to lie, it may be the only way to keep the peace though.

I really dont want things at my work place to be awkward if I reject them but I dont want to start seeing them either neither of them. I dont know what to do so that no one is upset.
Just quite fed up with this now, my stomach is in knots going to work when theyre in, I need to get ready for bed now for 10-2 shift tomorrow, Guy 1 in.

Sorry annoying post Im not expecting advice just had to get this out somewhere.

shoplass you need to learn to say no. if you don't like lying then just come out with the truth ASAP, you can still be polite e,g,, "sorry, i'm not interested in seeing anyone at the moment."
men will just go off the information you're giving them, and right now you're leading them on. you KNOW it won't end well.

>It was easier when I had a bf, "I have a bf" end of story.
>I could say Im seeing someone outside of work, i don't want to lie, it may be the only way to keep the peace though.
just as it was simple when it was true, as a white lie "sorry, i have a boyfriend," is usually enough. no need to invent some whole backstory for your fictional bf (although maybe you could have one in reserve).

who knows. maybe you will fall in love with one of these workmates.

picrel is 28 quid in CeX, still 40 quid new. should be a daft little indie type game for a tenner. the ORIGINAL Crypt of the NecroDancer is a tenner and sometimes it drops to 2 quid on Steam.

The most common thing is just shoplifting, since we're told not to get involved, you occasionally see people walk in and out so casually with stuff, it is quite interesting how uninhibited people can be,I assume on drugs/drinking.

What we know for facts:
>We are being observed by something else
>It does not like us putting weapons in space
>Occasionally sometimes bits of metal fall to earth
>Medical and military corporations use that metal for advanced projects
>It HAS been used for "growing bones" to cure some types of cancer
>Some of the metal can have up to 51 elements inside it
>We cant do that just yet
>Some of the metal has Human DNA as a component as well as Plutonium

It's all very interesting.
>>

actually nah these Steam decks are too expensive. and surprisingly low-res with weak battery life? and FUCK anything that comes in tiers with different specs. i liked how the Nintendo Switch was just the Switch, that's it, that's your console.

I do not kiss and tell lad. But interestingly enough we can bind Ceramic to Metal in a Zero G environment and then you can introduce human DNA via the ceramic.

All very top secret stuff, but it'll probably come out n a more public setting by next year.

as for the schizo thing i had a downstairs neighbour at my old flat who kept knocking at our door and complaining about "that banging", saying he'd tell our landlord or the council. i thought of all the things it could have been, no idea.

Mad how civilisation (a good thing) has made humans feel separate from nature (a delusional thing). We have become so removed from the state of nature we assume it's normal for things like benefits, food banks to exist. We are animals like any other. There is no welfare state for grizzly bears.
Like the idea alone of taking care of complete strangers. Free shelter, warmth, sustenance handed out to strangers (competitors, in real terms). It's so normal to us we forget how utterly alien it is to the world we live in.
We assume wars just don't happen for people like us. There is a massive surplus of listless men wandering around like zombies because the predictable war cycle of the past has been frozen.
The human world these ideas took hold in - religious, homogenous, increasingly doesn't exist any more, but people assume the ideas in themselves must have a self propelling inertia. Cart, horse, etc.
>>
Funny thing is with this idea of the state socialists and communists are meant to be scientific materialists, but they really have a quasi-religious faith in human nature as essentially compassionate and noble which is simply wishful thinking, not something borne out by reality. Hence it always devolves into violent suppression as they try to beat compassion into a hairless chimpanzee.
>>
>>83597116
are there any herd animals that skew "collectivist" rather than all individualistic?

i think whether it's nature or nurture we're sort of fighting our instincts sometimes, with the whole stiff upper lip, "pay it no mine" type detached attitude. feels like something is missing when you become all jaded and detached, because it is.

but even in planned communes you get these weird issues that crop up. kibbutz in Israel, sort of progressive with it's gender roles for the time, looking after kids was a collective responsibility (not just mothers looking after THEIR OWN kids). now there's a generation of ex-kibbutz people with some obvious feelings about how that worked out.
>>
People think there is a difference between "hair" (human) and "fur" (animal), it's another word for the same thing. We are literally an animal, and closely related to the chimpanzee, one of the most belligerent warlike animals on the planet.
>>
>>83597116
Nature is not delusional. It's natural.
Everything that's happening now is very unnatural, and it won't last. Right now the UK is importing millions of 65 IQ Africans and 75 IQ Middle Easteners for no apparent reason other than to destroy the nation, and that will be the outcome. All of this is temporary.
>>
It feels like covid was a turning point, not the virus itself, as a market of disillusion, alienation etc.
Feels like people don't feel like this is "their" society anymore they just inhabit it. They don't feel part of it, in control. They don't care about it.
People feel like strangers, which I guess they always were mostly, but there used to be a shared connection that isn't there anymore.
Nothing works, there are foreigners absolutely everywhere. Maybe people don't feel like they're around their own people anymore. How can you commit to a society if you don't trust it.
>>
>>83597158
i mean some "secular humanists" outright talk of it as their belief system, like that's how the plug the religious gap as atheists.

David Hume was pretty right about humans being driven by passion more than beep-boop rationalism. but i think even if you have a healthy mix of both, that's going to lead to more good/helpful qualities than evil/harmful ones.

who knows what the robots will be like.

It's weird, the country is so far gone, yet it was fine, within living memory of most of us it was pretty much fine. The setting of the 90s, 2000s, would have been okay if it continued.
Now that seems like a farfetched dream world. A simple state of affairs that already existed.
It's mental that is where we ended up. It would have been entirely possible and natural the life we all knew simply continued as it was.
Instead, it's this.
Now people only expect more decline and doom, as if that's the natural thing to expect.
It all happened in about 30 years max. Now it's as if it's always been this way. It seems hysterical and unreasonable to expect anything different.
Unreal.
>>
If anything, it's as if the whole mainland has degenerated into being what Northern Ireland already was 30-50 years ago lol. A shithole. We have absolutely gone backwards. You wouldn't have thought as a teenager in the 90s, 2000s the country was going to go backwards, to this extent as well. We were optimistic.
You would have thought countries going to shit was for other people, banana republics in Africa. We only go forwards.
It will be interesting to see how it all ends up.

90s/2000s were on the right track. there was a spirit of optimism for this whole new millennium. the last civil rights issues had basically been solved. keep discussing this with mate A since she's now on some socially conservative kick, but we both broadly agree that people can live their lives however. and that we were just in the right place by the 2000s and should have stayed the course, there.

fashion changes, new issues arise. but something like racism or sexism, we had those figured out. now they're just adding layers and everyone is confused. the general progress of civilisation is taking steps BACKWARDS.

i dunno, i don't feel attracted to kids. i think that's a prerequisite there.

but it's less morals in the sense of 'don't murder' and more just everyday 'social mores' we previously took for granted. i think those are deteriorating, or at least changing direction (for the worst IMO).
>>

i wasn't a fan but i can see the appeal. it's such a novelty i don't know HOW they dragged it out. also the actors have very clearly aged.

seen clips doing the rounds and it's full-on battling giant CGI monsters and things. looks as though it basically is just some Marvel-style flick, even if it's popcorn fun.

was going to ask something but i forgot what

plenty of less physical roles nowadays if someone has flat feet or homosexual tendencies.

we could go for some middle-ground system like Finland. waive tuition fees if you do a year in the military, or two years as a civil servant (if you're a coward). zoomers/alphas have grown up in a Britain where tuition fees always existed, so to them this'would seem like a sweet deal.

i get less oxygen to my brain nowadays (nasal breathing is a struggle due to drug abuse, my lungs ache from trying harder)

in a strange way, it's fun, and i am happier. but i've also dropped 10-20 IQ points. we should do it the other way around where people who contribute to society are REWARDED with EXTRA oxygen, so they can do sums (and other complex tasks).
