Lincoln might actually be the nicest town in the championship when they are in the league. Now I think about it almost every team in the championship is in a shithole, even Oxford is in a shit part.

Really hope it isn't a midweek game as I'll love an away game to Lincoln.

>The WNBA enters its landmark 30th season with WNBA Tip-Off 2026 on Friday, May 8

>Details of a landmark WNBA collective bargaining agreement, per ESPN sources:
>New salary cap starting at $7 million, up from $1.5 million
>Average revenue share of nearly 20% across deal
>Supermax starting at $1.4M
>Average salary in range of $600K, minimum above $300K
Despite all the negative press and even personal attacks directed at so many of them, they stuck to their goals and came to an agreement in the end.

>Within a week of scoring 83 points, Bam Adebayo sees his girlfriend A’ja Wilson become the first WNBA player to receive a supermax under the new CBA. Four year deal starting at $1,400,000 per season to stay with the Aces

Essentially trading 2 lottery picks for MeBounds when Griner is already on the team seems like a bad move. But hey it could be win-win. Chicago just needs more talent, and ATL gets immediate help in the frontcount
>>
I dont know much about basketball, so it might sound silly but why are people laughing at Angel Reese getting traded? Is it humiliating for a player to be part of a trade?
I mean Luka Doncic was traded no long ago and he was/is a respected basketball player.
>>
>>154135071
It’s unusual for a high-profile rookie to get traded and Angel Reese is really divisive.
>>
>>154135071
it's not surprising that she got traded. end of last season she threw all her teammates and gm under the bus while talking to a reporter.
>>
>>154135021
Maybe the new coach figures it out but her problem is most of her rebounds were her just grabbing her own misses down low, she rarely ever kicked it back out. Cardoso might just be a full on bust but it really felt like those two did not play well together since they both just clogged up the lane.

you couldn’t be more wrong. a 45 year old ex-pro with no knees will boss a team of 20 year old amateurs because of muscle memory and knowledge of positioning.

>>154133670
That's the extra stuff. It's mostly those 3 to make into the next level.

also crossing and delivering the ball to a particular area. i guess thats muscle memory too. amateurs cant cross for shit.

Same here. Only 4/12 of the big clubs (Fluminense, Vasco, Botafogo and Cruzeiro) and a total of 6 first division clubs (those plus Remo and Bahia) referenced Christianity. People weren't happy about it.

And don’t use the >baseball is a team sport excuse, no shit- but there’s just no way, no freakin way a guy who’s supposedly the greatest ever at his sport has ONE SINGULAR post season appearance in 14 years with ZERO wins

Let’s ignore the wins for a second- you mean to tell me you only got there ONCE?? That is simply unprecedented for a supposed “GOAT” level athlete, find me one GOAT tier athlete that has virtually no playoff resume in ANY sport- including baseball! They don’t exist, they’ve all at the very least made it to the big game even if they didn’t win or have a losing record in it.

Can someone please explain why boreball fans championed this loser for like 20 years when it’s obvious hes just a good stats guy that can’t get it done?? Actually scratch that, he can’t even get to the point where he HAS to get it done. I don’t rate boreball MVPs so to me it’s like calling Carmelo anthony the best NBA player ever

Nice b8 m8. Got me thinking that being Mike Trout would be pretty nice. He plays the game at a top level, gets paid big, and with a huge holiday break every year. This sealed it for me, he’s the GOAT.

And so Nathan Aspinall becomes the fourth different winner on the Euro Tour this year with a superb display in the final to claim his fourth European Tour title and his first of 2026. After he demolished Kevin Doets with a 106 average in the semi-final, it was going to be difficult for Danny Noppert to stop him.

Unfortunately for the Dutchman that proved to be the case as despite clawing back a 4-1 deficit and even leading at 5-4, he was overpowered by The Asp's scoring, with 9 140+s and 7 180s to The Freeze's 9 scores in total of 140+ including 4 maximums.

Incredibly that makes it four Euro Tour finals in four different countries (Austria, Netherlands, Hungary and now Germany) that Noppert has reached, and he has won none of them. This one probably doesn't hurt as much as the loss to Niko Springer last year, but it'll definitely sting.

Overall a weird weekend of darts with a lot of poor displays but some good ones as well. Does make a difference with so many of the big names either absent or crashing out early.

The PL returns Thursday from Brighton.
