He's not entirely wrong, there's 24 provinces here and only 4 of them are majority white. The issue is that the nonwhite provinces are so underpopulated that they make up about 1/4 of the population. Just to give you an idea Buenos Aires(majority white) has a population of 15~Million people, that's almost 1/3 of the population.

Not at all. Around 20,000 natives were killed. You can say it was an awful genocide, but it would've changed almost nothing in the % of native population here.
In our second census in 1895 we had around 4 million people here. Those 20,000 would've made no difference at all. Among those 4 million almost 3 million were argies (they were already mixed with natives), 30,000 were natives, the rest were immigrants.
But that's not the reason most of us are white. Back then many of us might've had strong native heritage, and there were black people as well.
The reason was the huge European immigrations that happened between the end of 19th Century and first half of 20th Century. In fact by 1895 it had already started, because our population in the first census, in 1869, was less than 2 million.
By our third census in 1914 we were almost 8 million, and finally in 1947 our fourth census gave almost 16 million as result. And the main reason was European immigration.
That's why black and native blood was diluted and there's a lot of white people in the country.

Now, on the contrary, we've been getting immigration from other South American countries for a long while already, and that's the main reason why in lower class neighborhoods people look a lot more like natives.
