>>142972815Not the guy you replied to but I'd argue that French (and possibly Italian, I don't speak it tho) is the easiest language to learn if you are Brazilian. English is easier only because of the internet/games/music and being omnipresent but still it is not a Romance language. Spanish is closer to Portuguese, but I think that makes it more challenging, you simply can't turn your brain off without going back to Portuguese as default at some point. But French is the perfect middle ground, close but no too close, different vocabular but no too much, and so on. Some of the vowel sounds can be challenging as well, but other than that learning French is pretty cool and straightforward as a Portuguese speaker.
