We won that game if it wasn’t for the drop. So I take that as positive somewhat. It could have been 2-0 and no one would say anything despite some issues. Positives:Hurts, besides the INT, was great. He carried us on two key drives and helped open up the offence. O-line was good. Jurgens needs to learn to cut back on penalties but otherwise had a great game. Barkley and Smith played well. Covey also had a decent game. Our LB core isn’t bad. The secondary was also fine. It’s the d line who couldn’t help them out. Negatives:Huff, Sweat, Smith are garbage. We need EDGE help BADLY. Slay is unfortunately not the guy anymore. Quinyon will be the CB1 on this team. Lack of depth on offense. You would think Dotson would be a fine WR3 but we have barely seen him featured. We need depth badly. Fangio’s D was great in the first half and the first Falcons drive. The ending was of course terrible. Too soft, can’t get to the QB. On to next week… I think everyone expects the Saints to whoop us.
