You're asking your team and the defense to have an extreme level of discipline and decision making. It's just hard to beat, but also very hard to run. Plus in todays game if you are a triple option team the defense will stack the box. I think a great offense would be a mix of triple option/west coast that always lines up in a triple option look. You have to make the defense respect the pass. If they do that and drop defenders a couple disciplined fast players will destroy a team with the option.
