Football manager 26 beta today bros
reminder all you need are players with high physical attributes, nothing else matters, the engine is very simple
>>151546650yep, hope they fixed it thoughhere's the genny for future discussion since we don't survive on /spoh/ anymore>>>/vst/2167542>>>/vst/2167542>>>/vst/2167542
>>151546762>we don't survive on /spoh/ anymoreWHY
>>151547402board moves too fast
>>151547526I don't think the issue is /sp/ is "too fast" (it's pretty slow compared to the past). I think its more that much of the old community left and it took a while for people to realise that /vg/ is a natural home for /trb/.
>teenage girl trafficking simulator
>>151546650you mean like how youth coaches IRL just spam big ngubus in the U17 leagues?
>>151547560/vg/ is too fast as well
When it releases, I’m going to buy Hannibal Mejbri for Paris FC like I’ve been doing since FM20 :)

WHERE IS MY FUCKING GAME
>>151546650Which ones to focus on? Pace and acceleration?
IT'S UPPPPPP
thoughts?
lol WRONG
>>151552131Fraid so
>>151552131>>151552244Still Vince
might be a keeper
is there a way to disable womemes leagues?I try to x out women's leagues, it cancels the mens one too. Also this is my first game, what's usually the tutorial team?
>>151547560It's on vst
>>151552618Manchester United
>>151552131KWAB
It's so fucking bad. They've been working on it for, what, 4 years and this pile of shit is the best they can come up with. Only good thing to come out of this is that fat cuck Miles is going to be jobless soon.
2026 and im still getting shit for subbing a player on a hattrick in a preseason friendly. I don't even know why im surprised
so it's shit huhnot surprised, i'll get it in a few months when it's on sale and like 20 usd
>>151553495was that a journalist question?tbg that's realistic. if your club is big enough for journalists to be sent to cover friendlies, they are going to struggle to find anything interesting to ask you about.
>>151547402Olympiacos legend Gabriel strefezza
>>151552592imagine the team bonding sessions
lmao apparently this is a complete disaster
>>151552592>decisions: 6>determination: 1One of you lads will sweep her heart
>>151547402looks like if cole palmer had a baby with that alien kid from system of a down
>>151546447>Everybody thinks it's shitSurely miles gets fired now then? enough is enough
>buying the first gen fm after some major revampEither new or never learned. I'm betting it's a bugfest, you always wait for the second. Also, the match engine looks exactly the same; I don't think they changed it, only the graphics. So it's still 24 for me
Why are plebittors crying about this UI? Seems fine
>>151555395everyone is saying how mish mashed the assets are. out of place, low quality, overlapping. and how slow some menus are.could be true. i'm not buying just to be a bug tester for miles
>>151555275they update the match engine and tweaked some things so it's not exactly the same but 90% lol
This looks like a dumpster fire
came home early from night shift to play, refunded after 3 hours, everything feels awfulmenus are slow and laggy, UI is complete ass, the game is just blurry for some reason (playing on 1440p), match engine feels exactly the same but with some new animations and ps3 graphicsnot to mention all the little bugs, parts of the UI just not working or not doing what they're supposed to, weird visual glitches and other stuff. game crashed twice.OH BUT WE HAVE WOMENS FOOTBALL SO ITS OK miles can suck a mile of dicks
>>151556940feels like a half finished mobile game
>the delay when you click on new messages>loading time for pop ups>weird frame rate drops
>>151555395i mean if the OP is a release screenshot there's a lot of issues there, it's pretty naffi don't think the series has even surpassed fm12 UI-wise, which is a bit disappointing for a game that's 95% UI
>>151552592HOWLING
Genuinely though, they've spent 25 years perfecting this UI, obviously still go for the unity match engine but why overhaul the UI? It is fucking atrocious.
Reminder that this is all because of a yank streamer who said he wished FM had better graphics. He was even boasting about it in his stream last night
>having to clear a popup window that shows results after every continue what the FUCK were they thinking?
I'm just thinking the absolute fucking state the game must have been in last year when they pulled it a few weeks before it was due to be released.
is this the end of FM? I've been playing since cm 01/02 but I don't see a future for this series
bud1
>>151561416>We want the FIFA audience >Releases a game that looks like this
It'll be fine once people start releasing skins
>>151561459anon, I...
>>151560939zealand?
The wait is nearly over.
>>151561238They got rid of the ones who originally coded the ME and now have no idea how to fix it nevermind create a new one.If they keep on delivering only graphic and UI "updates" (which are actually downgrades in FM26's case) then at some point even normies from the playerbase will get turned off and stop buying. What I don't understand is how FM still don't get that they don't serve the same demographics as FIFA, yearly graphical updates are simply not enough. They're merely doing well because they have a monopoly in this genre but there is a massive gap for a competent competitor to take advantage of.
well, at least the community's most important request has been met: women's footy
It's just an early access beta lads, I'm sure these kinks will get ironed out with the full release
i got into fm cause of trb back in 2014, not sure if im getting 26 though, i have wasted alot of time with these damn games
Already got my refund
>>151560832The Unity stuff all sucks too people are just giving it a pass because of how dogshit the UI is
Has the simulation performance increased at all? I just want to load every league and have the game run at a reasonable speed.
did they fix the la liga bug where you can register players outside salary cap by just going on holidays or as i like to call it the negreira barcelona way?
From the presentations and the demos i thought the new version actually seemed pretty innovative/had more new features than usual. Seeing the bug tracker and comments online though seems like maybe I fell for the shiny object syndrome
>*destroys your game*
>>151562209Aside from out of posession formations, there isn't anything is there? The main difference is just a UI overhaul they've managed to spectacularly fuck up. The match engine itself is still the same old shit they've been using for about 20 years.
>>151561577yes. A
>>151562363Get real, you can't blame an influencer for this disaster because he asked for better graphics on a game thats stuck 15 years ago.In any normal company the graphics would have evolved along with the game, and not get stuck in dev hell because the company is simply unable to remake the game they've been selling for 20 years. This UI is terrible. The constant lag is inexcusable. And the graphics improvement they've been focusing on is still a thing from the past. SI is simply a shit video game company.
>>151562558who uses their shit-tier UI anyways, use a skin.
>>151560939>britcucks let one single ameriCHAD dictate their entire business modeloh my goodness
>>151562599But they didn't add the built-in support to do that
>>151562599There are no skins for 26. They haven't been made yet and even if they were, there is no support for them.
>>151562340He should never have been promoted above tea maker
>>151562690skins will come with time for sure
>>151562828Maybe, in the meantime it's not there
Refunded the game. Was fine with the shit UI and ugly ass graphics with weird haircuts but I constantly had the continue button break, not gonna replay the same game 3 times.
Can you install FM24 databases (because I assume they're going to make a new one for 2026 considering how shit it looks) on FM23, or do I really need to get 24
>>151561959Fm22 was the one where they finally added multicore cpu support. So if you have a decent enough cpu (i5 made within the past 5 years) and 16gb of ram, you can load as much as you want.Fm26 seems to be OK on that front (I don't have it) but the UI is sluggish and slow to respond.
>>151563605https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-databasesDoesnt look you can. I would say it's better to just get fm24 if you don't want 26. It's the split off point and there will be still plenty of people supporting 24 until the new engine is deemed good enough.
Can we extract the FM26 database and transfer it to FM24? At least until it becomes playable.
