England is right about most things with football. 3pm kickoffs, the focus on supporting local clubs, reactionary crowds instead of endless chanting. Boxing day matches isn't one of them tho. Most leagues are off during the holidays because players want to be with their families, boxing day matches were always stupid but atleast it's not as bad as straight up putting games on Christmas like NFL and NBA.
