They updated the OT rule on defensive penalties. Subsequent defensive fouls don't result in an automatic good try anymore, it escalates to half the previous distance. So instead of the 1, it goes to the 1/2. Then 1/4. Etc. No change to the offensive side, if you commit a foul on offense it will result in a loss of down, period. I'm sure nobody will scream about this in the future.

Most fun teams to watch are somehow the Kangs and Storm. Battlecocks, Fendies and Renegays are tossups for being fun to watch. Probably not the MOST exciting year and nothing will ever compete with XFL to me, but I'd take this over Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson owning this. There's still some room to grow and I'd love for them to lean more into the uniqueness of the UFL in later seasons, but I do think we're on the right track. Plus the current owner actually does listen to fans and that rapid change to the bullshit OT rule was really cool of him to do.

Las Vegas Sickwidit vs Silver State Stealth is a blowout already (18-6 at half), I would skip. New Mexico Chupacabras @ Tucson Sugar Skulls is pretty good. Sugar Skulls have a good logo. Underrated. Its strange there are three IFL teams in AZ. Might be an underserved market for football. IFL gets a lot of blue collar types with families looking for something to do in small towns.
