What makes baseball great compared to other sports is how any given night some complete no name shitter can get hot and got 3 for 5 with 4 RBIs and completely change the face of the game. If you watched every Yankees game, you could tell Judge is good. But you would essentially just be a rudimentary stat tracker. He's good because he hits a lot of homers and gets on base a lot, and you could tell by watching over the season. But you probably couldn't say just how good he is.
