Also, the fact that who let go of a metaphorical rope is something that can only be determined post hoc after a series makes it inherently flawed as a concept. JJ has borrowed this metaphor from Glenn Rivers which is another obvious sign it is probably a bad idea. I'd even go as far as to say it was a contributing factor in Glenn Rivers teams being psychologically fragile and prone to losing after being up in a series.
