>>97367195I push damsels and dudes in distress too much honestly. My players get sick of only doing quests because "it's what a good person would do." The only problem is I struggle to get five unique theatre kids to all agree on a quest.
>>97385551I gave it to them knowing it wasnt getting filled out or at the bare minimum, filled out wrong. Its more of a prop (also just funny because at the end of the day, we're just there to laugh and blow off steam). That said, if one wanted to read it a little closer than a glazed over skim, one might divine some key clues about the underworkings of Eastsand City and maybe some valuable clues.... I spent like 5~ish hours. I am loathe to admit that there was AI involved in the middle. Turns out if you want gobbledygook, its really good at it. I provide the base and main ideas, it spits out formatting and superflous words, then I go through it and heavily edit. I was only going to do the first section but some of the shit it spit out was so retarded I ended up seeing how deep the rabbit hole went.>I treat AI, when it comes to ttrpg stuff, like a first year trade apprentice: it does all the bulk, stupid work that is a time sink like formatting, generating custom statblocks, etc while I abuse it verbally. Then, as the foreman, I tell it 'this sucks, do it again' and stand there like a hawk making sure details are right. My hands go where theyre needed most to tweak, edit, or add/remove anything that needs it. I still have oodles of sticky notes and long docs of ideas and plot points and in-world errata that is entire humanly-breathed.

Looking for Book of Dungeons drawing rpg from Gunpwder Studios and Flik Silverpens Guide To Drawing Dungeons...if possible
>>97385194Witch Hunt 1983 StatCom Simulations Inc. is the game (in pdf form) that has eluded my collection for decades. I don't believe it's ever been scanned. And it had one supplement, which I might soon drop the $200.00 for. I don't even think "GodAnon" can procure a pdf copy of the Witch Hunt corebook.
>>97380534thanks a lot anon!!!! by any chance do you have the one that's compatible with pathfinder 2e?

>>97368230This is easy to see if you compare Pathfinder Chronicles (3.5) with Lost Omens (PF2E) .Almost every evil organization in old Pathfinder spent engaged in either slavery or torture, usually both. In Lost Omens it has been effectively been removed from the setting

The biggest problem with filtering someone because they never contribute anything to any conversation they're a part of is the endless curiosity about what contentless post they made whenever they make a post
>>97386765That sounds like you have no self control. I've never had problems like that even after filtering out most of the sex related topics that I don't care for.
>>97386765The SOLUTION is to IMAGINE that every single THING they're spouting is nothing but jobber GOHAN noises. BELIEVE me, the URGE to know more will QUICKLY disappear once you VISUALISE them jobbing textually.
>Black Legion no longer hard into Chaos worship, Abaddon sees himself as not a slave and is disdainful of the religious>Iron Warriors see relying on the Dark Gods as a weakness>Night Lords are edgy atheists>Emperor's Children don't care about Slaanesh specifically really, are just concerned with pleasuring themselves and being freaky. Fabius actively hates Chaos>Thousand Sons hate Tzeentch for fucking them and try to fuck him over when they can>Alpha Legion retconned to basically never having been religious at all >World Eaters are crazy and barely verbal anymore>Red Corsairs see relying on Dark Gods as weak and now have a whole cadre of troops that are "free" of Chaos influence>Only Word Bearers and Death Guard seem to actually venerate the Chaos GodsWhy are so few CSM actually religious anymore? Back in the day even your average Alpha Legion boy would be all FOR THE DARK GODS
For the same reason they made all the legions that rebelled for evil or petty reasons actually "justified" or "misunderstood", without realizing it made them look even more retarded. Like being chaos marines that supposedly don't care about chaos.
>>97387179>>Emperor's Children don't care about Slaanesh specifically really, are just concerned with pleasuring themselves and being freaky.>>World Eaters are crazy and barely verbal anymoreI agree with your larger point but these two seem perfectly in line with their patrons to me
>>97387179inb4 muh number went up
Sounds appropriate to the setting actually. Rationalizing that you're not being used as a tool. And the dark powers themselves probably prefer you getting out there and amusing them by causing carnage instead of just praying to them constantly.
>>97387179They're trying to do a depiction that catches more audience. The dark worshippers can still do edgy spiky evil marines. The fedoras can still do snowflake spiky marines. The double fedoras can do >my army is a commentary on the folly of man and hubris blahblahblah
Who would you rather fight?A master swordsman.A literal demon.Or.. the chalice master.
>>97386500None of that. I'd rather tackle two soft pale skinned plumper girls, one with ginger hair and a slight sunburn/tan plus freckles, and the other one with black hair and black lipstick/eyeliner, both without tattoos.

>>97386938I still don't gat what a pierrot, a painter's palette and blind Anubis holding a a ball have to do with the concept of Stasis.
untapping hasn't been an issue in magic for quite a while now, most sets have ETB effects that trigger other effects.
>>97387128This. The art is... fine, I guess. But it doesn't look to have anything to do with "Statis". It looks like the kind of art a beatnik would look at while drawing on a cigarette, calling it "Brilliant", while everyone around them thinks they are huffing their own farts just a bit too much.
>>97387218Like, at a glance what I think is "Balance" not "Stasis" since both of the abstract concepts (?) are in a scale. I wonder how did the artist came up with this concept and why, but it fails the purpose of indicating what the idea of the card was.

>>97387234Custodes being built from literal scratch isn't stated? It is. The only thing they really need from the baby is the soul.>We are, as you say, constructed, not born and raised. From every piece of DNA to every fired neuron in our learning, we are conjured into existence from the techno-artifice left by the Emperor. The most fundamental part of us, the animus, the soul that bonds us to the universe and Custodians to the Emperor, cannot be made from a compound in a tube, any more than a cogitator can conjure psychic lightning. And so a child must be made with that animus, but that is all it is useful for.
Previous thread: >>97295718GURPS is a modular, adaptable system, capable of running a wide range of characters, settings, and play styles, with a level of detail varying from lightweight to completely autistic.Optional rules allow you to emulate different genres with a single system, or even switch genres within a single game.A nearly complete archive of GURPS books can be found by using the image. Never post direct links to the archive anywhere in plain text.If you're wondering where to start:- The Basic Set covers everything, including a lot of optional rules you probably won't use.- A genre guide can be found in the archive, under Unofficial/GURPSgen. It tells you what extra books and articles you may find useful for many common genres.- How To Be a GURPS GM is a good read even for players.- GCS (gurpscharactersheet.com) is an excellent character-builder software, with page references to all the books and the option to export to both Foundry and Fantasy Grounds.Thread question: what's the best classic GURPS cover art?

>>97376955As an additional GURPS source, Pyramid 3/87 (page 17) gives slaves an approximate value of $21,000/slave, which is about $350/month by the "5 years of full time pay" metric. This feels really expensive.
