In short, you just take the two highest values as your results. It's over all clean and smooth to run, Combat feels natural. It's cheap enough so just get it and try it.There's a third book, the Black Star Companion that rounds out the system. With all three books it really does feel like a combined arms type game without getting bogged down with an overly complex system.
