Finally back to 2000. Took a break for a few years and wow it looks like rating deflation is real. Tons of players I beat in the 1900s used to be 2000 to 2100+ before the pandemic like I was. I thought rating deflation was just a myth. I also noticed a lot of higher rated accounts just stopped playing and let their rating go to provisional. No doubt worried too much about losing points.
