>>93948223I maintain that Rewind isn't time based. It doesn't make sense why Deku would be able to break his body in order to outpace it if it was simply rewinding his time. He'd grow younger and younger despite his attempts. Logically speaking it makes much more sense if it's working through some kind of bullshit, biological medium and his constant self-destruction was putting his body in such volatile flux that the best Rewind could do is persistently set him back to default rather than de-age him out of existence. Time manipulation COULD exist maybe given other Quirks affect intangible forces and concepts, but Rewind ain't it.
