If you cheese a mortal wound onto otherwise huge targets like the Norn Emmisary or Angron or whatever, you can Mercy is Weakness nuke it down and the target just explodes. Consider that you can run Techmarines to give a specific unit +1 to hit, lethal hits and then a strategem to give crits on 5+ and sustained. It's a ton of firepower. The way anti-tank works in 40k right now is that the best units at killing tanks tend to be other tanks, and with a Techmarine in Ironstorm its hard. You can 3 inch deepstrike some dudes down and fire a bunch of meltas at a redemptor, but it will almost certainly live, especially with -1 damage and an enhancement to turn one shot to 0. Then it whips out Power of the Machine Spirit and you've essentially lost a powerful squad to get 1 vehicle of like 3 down to half. It's even worse with long-ranged tank killers like other tanks - Getting shot at on both turns by pretty powerful tanks sucks. Nothing wants to eat the counteraction from a Redemptor or a Vindicator.Two immune-to-damage techpriests healing and marching a ton of unkillable armour up the midboard is good. The way to beat Ironstorm is generally through scoring but you can just run a list like pic-related and it's probably the best thing the codex has outside of Ultramarines Calgar/Gorillaman.I think a list topped recently that was just 2 redemptors 2 lancers 2 reapers 2 techmarines and then the bare minimum scoring/denial monkeys (2x3 Inceptors, 2x5 scouts, 2x5 jump pack marines, 1x5 infiltrators)

I realized how easy the shoulder tank is to replicate right after doing his and how I just completely missed the shape and size of it.
