What is the most incel opening?
>>
>>94374854
Learning openings is inherently incel. Chad just makes whatever move looks best at that moment without worrying about the line.

Oh man, I’m proud of this checkmate I found in a rapid game with 3 mins left

Absolutely beautiful. 5 great moves in a row with a brilliant sac

Easily refuted by anyone above 1000 Elo. It’s Blackburne Schilling tier.

Here’s a list of actual good ones
Smith Morra Gambit
Queens Gambit
Kings Gambit
Evans gambit
Alien gambit

Murray's "History of Chess" has a huge section full of shatranj and medieval chess puzzles like this. A handful of them use only pawns, rooks, and knights like this one, and so are still good chess puzzles.

Just watched Stepan's video two days ago and he mentioned someone insulted him in the chat in another language. Can anyone translate what this guy said? What language is this?
>>
>>94390833
It's in Hindi. "The smart one will become a fool" was probably directed to Mick17 that won the game.
>>
>>94391054
Thank you for translating the needful saar, now that I see Stepan misunderstood him, as he thought the comment was directed to himself.

Don't study theory until you are at least 1800 elo. Memorization isn't learning, you wont understand any of the theory you memorize. It's a waste of time to learn how to fight for fractions of a pawn in the opening, when you're going to be giving away a full piece every game in the middlegame.

Opening theory is a trap for beginners, you will never get good, if you spend too much time there. Learn endgames instead.

I'm rated 2200 on chess.com blitz and if I play the bongcloud every game my rating goes down to 2000. That's the difference openings make.

How should I learn chess? I know the rules but I don't have any fundamentals or openings. Plus, I don't know where even to begin. What openings should I study? Where can I learn the 101 basics? How should I be moving my pieces? etc.

learning the king and rook checkmate has won me so many games. i haven't encountered a single person sub 1000 that knows the pattern. they just move around like it's a draw
>>
I finally get it: I can't improve by only playing blitz and boolet
>>
>>94423409
correct, you also have to stop thinking
>>
I thought I hated chess, but it turns out I just hate studying openings and the opening stage. Fischer random chess is so much more fun than standard chess, it's unreal.
