Well it's flagrantly overpowered, as a starting-character-bonus-dice class as well as one that can run around with high/max lust and so not fear mindbreaks, as well as one that gets bonuses from what is already an advantage mechanic. Scales up slowly under it's own power but corruptions are easy to farm.

Yeah, I think you could do something else with Passion than the bonus dice. Maybe enemies suffer a debuff (against mental strength) of sorts, if you want to keep that idea of activating passion on the thresholds. Horny could trigger an additional mindbreak for the character, but a huge powerup. Something like this.
Power from Darkness is good, and the additional attack damage from Corruption isn't an issue.

Hey LA anon, i was playing a while back on like .67, and i noticed most melee combat just devolves into gropefests due to the
>if creature gains arousal then gropes
which lead me to bad end on the bandit group with the captain and skirmisher due to the ranged guys hitting HP and melees hitting arousal
the game is far from that edition, but would there be sense in cutting the "arousal domino" to allow for more mileage on HP?
for example creatures that are attacked do not grope, or grope after armor breaks?

sorry for the random question, its just been on my mind a while from a discussion few threads back

So it has been a lot for various things. Thanks for the activity in the last couple of threads, for the suggestions and pointing out mistakes. There is a chance I missed something, so please let me know.
As said, probably gonna take a bit of a break from creating new stuff. But of course, you can always send feedback or point things out.
Also, just wanna play for a while.
>>94589376
That's more or less so by design, and it also gives you a chance to strike back (grope dice tend to be smaller for enemies).
HP not being that important in many combat situations is a known issue, which is somewhat addressed by abilities, spells and attacks attacking it directly, or certain enemies not gaining lust at all. But it's certainly one oddity of the game, due to its very nature.
>>
>>94589376
Combat never worked like that, the gropes just give you an extra extra round when you need 1-2 to kill everything at most.
>>
>>94589399
>one weak spot
Denied.
>>
>>94589387
Based.

Especially like the new General tables (you can kinda make a distinction between B1 as the nice town, B2 as the shady town and B3 as the Shithole city) and the sleeping, and the buff to Lewd Attacks is nice too and The additional spells add a good reason to level Miracles and Arcane Spellcasting

Also really like pounce and the bleed strike on Wolfmen making HP more neccesary.
>>
>>94589387
Y'know, surprised I didn't notice it earlier, but: Constitution isn't a stat that exists in the game, is it meant to be that the Arena lets you train Body?
>>
>>94589926
Thank you, corrected it. Due to D&D-mindrot and many other systems, I have to remind myself that the attribute is not called Constitution.
>>94589473
Everyone is free to use their tables like they want, but I always cycle through them. B2 being more shady is probably the result of trying to come up with more scenarios that offer risks and rewards.
>>
>>94589399
>>94589405
I like the fact that LA really is a game of attrition, maybe using health to bump down Arousal would be a good way to "push through" on the way back from exploration.
A risk/reward since when you get beaten in the turn order you get hit by an attack anyway.
Reducing (some) dice based on HP would complement it nicely and turn the game more lethal, but I don't know if that's already in the rules or not, since I haven't played in a while.
>>
>>94578468

So update, on day 48 Kordelia died to a lich. Besides raping a few orcs and losing also to a dragon (and somehow not mindbreaking) nothing too interesting happened.

I think it's kinda ok to have mobs that just fucking kill you, though I was thinking maybe the way you could do a capture/defeat scenario for them is by possesion of a lustful ghost - as a temporary thing for regular undead(though prob rule that if it's just FK and Zombies they just straigt up kill you), as the ghost takes you back to town and has you go on a slut rampage until found out, whereas a lich has you run around the forest looking for anything with a pulse to seduce and fuck. Hmm, maybe I'll write it up.

Nevertheless, a Halberdier, she was, and quite a decent one too. Now, I don't think I lost to a dice deficieny, but to bad luck and a stat one. I suppose you really want pretty high HP before you go do Dangerous missions, the bosses actually are the type to one shot you from 1 good roll, especially casters.

Now thinking about next character. I think an Elf Thief (to try out the crime system), a Half Elf Ashkeeper ranger, a Catgirl or bunnygirl mystic or a Monk of some sort,
>>
>>94590366
LA is already really lethal, actually. Gettting a bad defense into a good attack of even mediocore mobs can knock you down really fast, even on heavy armour classes.
>>

Done
>>
>>94590392
That's why having companions can be super important, even if they're the same class as your main character. If you're using the engagement and positioning rules, two characters with heavy armor can engage a decent chunk of a horde while splitting the attention. And then, having a backliner behind them for support (doesn't matter what kind, magic, archery, seduction, etc) is crucial.

Fuck yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah let's go
>>94590243
NTA, maybe it's because I'm autistic but I've never been able to figure out "which" forest table I'm supposed to use. I do like the idea of looking at it as each table is a variant on a foundation (forest: regular / orc-infested / Goblin-infested)
>>
>>94588673
>>94589046
Yeah, that was the one I immediately felt iffy with in my gut. I was going for something that plays of an opposite vibe to Penance, but it occurs to me a straight inversion might work better i.e. restore 1 hp (and/or sanity maybe?) per five lust gained - basically capturing the idea that where the Paladin uses suffering to clear her mind, the Blackguard draws on heat of the lust within as a source of strength to keep going.

Am also not considering class missions. I think the Easy one can remain /mostly/ as-is - for more well-intentioned anti-heroine types, reframe it as less about spreading corruption and more about trying to prove some kind of point. For the Difficult mission, i'm thinking include an option to make it essentially a kind of sting-operation - pretending you'll transport the slaves only to release them in a safe place and go on to try and ambush the buyers, risking capture yourself. Not sure how to go about things with the Dangerous mission.
>>
>>94591819
On a different note, brainstorming ideas for the Martyr. I'm thinking of having the option of three potential 'Burdens' (their equivalent to Oaths):

Burden of Compassion - In some ways the most archetypal, a girl whose love for everyone is strong and sincere enough to retain blessings even when steeped in corruption. Requirements would be a mix of Oaths of Charity and Protection, always having to help those in need and give of herself to the less fortunate.

Burden of Obedience - A burden with fairly grimdark implications, this represents a girl who, perhaps after conditioning by a less ethical church, has come to view herselt as an innately worthless and tainted thing fit only to be a servant and fuckdoll for the Righteous. Basically an even stricter Oath of Pleasure, where you're even forced to submit to certain rape attempts and can never disobey an authority, religious and otherwise.

Burden of Knowledge - This ones a little more out there, and represents characters with fundamentally heretical beliefs - either thinking that the forces of corruption somehow play a role in the cosmic order and plans of the Gods, or having looked at both Light and Dark and found nothing but contempt for either, seizing her power from both sources rather than begging for it from one of the two. In either case, the martyrdom is more in the vein of Odin hanging himself - enduring suffering not for the benefit of others, but to glean greater wisdom unavailable to those who fear paying the price. Not sure how this would actually be /implemented/ though.
>>
>>94591697
Problem is that the game isn't really balanced around them (even simplified companions trivialize most encounters), and I think that's ok. They are actually kind of a pain
>>
>>94589046
>I think you could do something else with Passion than the bonus dice.
Instead of negating Lust penalties, maybe it increases dmg? Aroused does +1 dmg/success, and Horny does +2, so you roll less dice for the penalty but do more dmg?

This is a testing run before the next Labyrinthus Update. I'm using the new Backstory generator, which is now more detailed and try to reach Wanderer Rank

>Charater: Vigdis - Female Jötunn Blood Omen Seeker (Zealot)
>Acts as:Big Sister
>Behavior:Trustworthy
>Quirks:Becomes paranoid if things goes not as expected

>Zealot Backstory:
>Vigdis heard the rumors that many years ago a member of her cult (the Crescent Moon) never returned from some Old Ruins nearby a village far away.
>The person was carrying a small pendant (a necklace with the symbol of a Crescent Moon made of Silver) when she vanished and she decided to find her since she failed to locate the pendant.
>While exploring the ruins, Vigdis entered a room with a lot of old dusty shelves with many different statuettes were exposed.
>Although some were broken or have been stolen, the rest could be easily observed.
>All statuettes depicted one or more humanoids, or even creatures, partaking into various lewd activities.
>Vigdis found one which intrigued her (new Interest obtained: Orcs) but she then realized the way she came from vanished and was only able to move forward. >When she manged to find an exit, she was in a completely different place.

>Starting Zone: Labyrinthian Overworld (Map 2) - Primordial Badlands (South West)

>Current Goal: Find the other NPC with the Pendant
>Missing NPC: Herkja, Female Jötunn Blood Militant Cleric (Zealot)

>Starting Plot Line:
>The Brood (Reverse), The Body (Upwards), The Dragon (Reverse)
>Infestation, Improvement, Great Occasion
>Table of Meaning: Serve Ally

Find the other Jötunn Blood and assist her into being Infested for power
>>
>>94592592
>Day 01 – Primordial Badlands
>Vigdis emerges in what appears to be a barren land, but with no way back, she ventures forth.
>From her position she can clearly see a sort of bizarre tower in the distance, so she decides to go there first (Scrying Tower).
>The first half of the day she walks for a long time without finding anything, but close to noon she spots what appears to be a pond.
>Knowing where to gather some fresh water would be nice, but the problem is that she notices a creature (Female Crokygator) grazing under the sun, close to the water.
>Being someone who lived in a snowy environment, such creature is something unknown but the appearance although clearly humanoid, is rather menacing, even if it seems to be just relaxing.
>Just to be sure, Vigdis prefers to stay away from the creature and takes a different path trying to not be noticed.
>The Creature lazily opens an eye and notices her walking away but does nothing and simply remains under the sun.
>The rest of the day is quite uneventful and she manages to find a rather safe spot to rest for the night.

>Day 02 – Primordial Badlands
>Moving through the badlands isn’t easy due to the extremely irregular terrain and the many dead ends.
>Luckily Vigdis seems to be able to avoid any further encounter and arrives at the tower at dusk.
>The tower presents a strange machinery which allows to spy though four different directions.
>The first attempt to use one of the telescopes seems to show her a sort of Barrow North-east, within a hill zone.
>The second telescope shows her what seems to be an Abandoned tower, which seems more interesting than a tomb.
>She stops using the machinery and goes to sleep.
>>
>>94592603

>Day 3 – Gloomy Plains
>Finally leaving the badlands, Vigdis can now travel faster, but she also need to find food.
>During the first half of the morning she finds the clear sign of a hunt occurred early in the morning probably at the same time when she left the tower.
>(Encounter: Hunt Leftovers).
>Apparently someone tried to use some rudimentary javelins to hit something small, probably a rabbit of some sort, which fled rapidly.
>Hungry, Vigdris follows the tracks of the animal and manages to catch it, so at least she has something to eat for today but tomorrow she will need to find more food.
>During the second half of the day, close to noon, she passes by a strange set of stones: large menhirs with holes carved through them in a way which allows to see through it and various carvings which reminds her some sort of constellations.
>She spends an hour trying to study the carvings and the symbols, noticing that the stones seems to be “radiating” although its a simple sensation.
>She suddenly feels more healthier but she doesn’t know why (Radiating Effect: +4 Prowess for 4 days).
>She moves on since there isn’t much else to do.
>The rest of the day passes like the day before and nothing important happens.
>Tomorrow she will be able to try to fin the Abandoned Tower and perhaps some food.
>>

5 strength with a single combat ability and a one handed sword is already 10 damage on a soldier. And you want to have high starting strength on a melee character now that it’s very hard to increase your starting stats.
>>
That does bring up one thing actually - while I get why the change to how stats increase was made and agree that overall its for the best, as-is it does put a disproportionate amount of pressure on classes like the Bard or Monk that ideally want decent scores in several attributes, as opposed to say Mages being able to get by largely on just Intelligence and Magic

>they don't want money, but her body
>intimidation fails
>manages to pull out and satisfy them all, somehow, thanks to superior stamina, leaving a trail of orc cum behind her
>don't mention the two stamina potions she had to drink afterwards
I know there is already a rule for spending stamina for using additional sex skills, but there should probably be a malus for using the same skill over and over.
>finally face the giant
>his orc entourage is also pretty big
>drawn-out fight starts where she barely manages to cut through the orcs
>as they died, the giant smashes through her shield and sends her flying
>she took the 6d6 + 20 like a champ
This character never got any additional Fetishes, early on she managed to increase her Lust threshold without mindbreaking and thus stayed relatively safe from that.
>orc capture scenarios
>spend precisely one (1) day captured, getting raped by one (1) orc
>gets safed next day
This was anticlimactic. Pretty sure she got what she wanted from this region, may head to the vampire region next and once we slay a vampire lord (or get defeated), retire her.
>>94596560
Don't think it's necessarily bad for some classes to require a more spread-out stat-distribution, as long as their mechanics can make up for it.
>>
>>94597148
>I know there is already a rule for spending stamina for using additional sex skills, but there should probably be a malus for using the same skill over and over.
Isn't there a rule that says you can't use the same sex skill more than once per scenario? (Except handjobs which are twice per scenario instead.)
>>
>>94597344
Not finding that in the sex-skills section.
Maybe it was like this in a previous edition.
>>
>>94597148
Maybe to an extent, but imho it still becomes something of an issue with stats like Magic and Willpower, where the only traits that increase them are the ones that scale up with each level you take, so taking only one level in that stat feels unaccountably like a waste. I guess it wouldn't be as big a deal if there were more traits like Creative, or Tall or whatever...
>>
>>94597597
That's a good point, actually.

Some ideas for secondary traits could maybe be
Faithful: +1 Willpower, +1 To out of combat miracle tests, +1 Rolls to Resist Corruption
Zealous: That again, or maybe +1 Willpower and the Greater Blessing ability

Enticing (I-III) - +1 Cha, +1 Success to Seduction +1 To Persuasion

Clairvoyant +1 Perception, Trained in Magical Percpetion, +1 Success in Magical Perception
Seer: +1 Per, Gain the Foresight ability

Magic can probably stay as is since it's kind of a specialist stat.

I reworked the backstory to be more in depth. You pick a table based on either your origin or something that makes sense for your character, like "Adventurer", "Combatant" or "Criminal" then roll to get a result of what the character was doing based on such concept. so Criminals will usually have different backstories than Nobles etc. If you read the backstory bit, that's actually one of the entries for the abckstory aka looking for a pendant and then entering some odl ruins. the ruins are a separated table so even there yo umight have different outcomes

Though I actually use a more abbreviated bunch of tables, lately. The lowest damage weapon in the game is a throwing knife, which is
2 + 7 + 2 + 1 + 1 (~ignores armor) before holy or class bonuses or skill ups, which means it's 13 + 2-6.
One handed weapons are 4 + 7 + 4 + 1 + 1 before holy or class bonuses or skill ups or active skills, so 17 + 2-6 with extra dice. Weapon skills are to the tune of >3.5 bonus damage per success (x3 rounds) and/or ignoring armor (all melee weapons lol).
You're literally talking about the difference between 21 and 22 damage, especially since it's on a class that already creeps base damage with a hugely scaling stat that also creeps base damage.
So the blackguard with 20 corr is probably swinging for like
4 + 7 + 4 + 1 + 1 + >4 + 3.5 + 10 + ~2 so like 36.5+ (ignores armour, bonus to corrupted) per success before you hit fame 10 the first time.

You have never played LA.
>>
>>94601286

What your disingenuous niggerfaggot tardhole is failing to understand because you refuse to engage with the mechanics or play the game instead of mouthing off like a petulant manchild is that the comparison being made is between
>+2 dice +0 damage
and
>-2 dice +2 damage
That is FOUR FUCKING DICE
That's a bigger difference if you have less dice.

If you're rolling 8 dice vs. 6 enemy dice early game, then -2 dice (base non-BG stats or the 'totally not a flavor bonus' bonus) is less than half a net success on average (6 vs. 6)
+2 dice is more than two net successes on average (10 vs. 6). That is a difference of (significantly, I think) more than FOUR TIMES AS MUCH DAMAGE
Do you think that +2 damage per success QUADRUPLES the player's average damage? This is the position that your gay ass is defending.

You realise people will be spending money on things other than investing all in weapons immediately, yes? And that, even with stat increases being harder to come by, some build will by necessity mean not starting with a maxed damage stat (assuming their race option allows them to start at 7 in the first place)?

Shitting your pants and saying that other people are melting down doesn't make that true or any of their arguments any less right

The correct solution would be to leave blackguard as mildly overpowered and just give it vows like cleric/paladin that actually change how the character plays, and have that be the 'bonus corruption' mechanic, anyway. This feels so obvious that it shouldn't have to be said.

No I mean you are an autistic sperg who noone in this thread takes seriously and should touch grass and get a grip.

People do not play games like you think they do and your ideas of 'balance' would be catastrophic for the majority of players because it's never a good idea to balance around minmaxers, so I am imploring for whoever you are talking to to ignore you

>Day 3 – Gloomy Plains
>Since she seems close to her destination, according to the simple map from the scrying tower, Vigdis decides to gather some food before continuing her exploration so she spends the whole morning foraging fruits and edible roots.
>During afternoon she then decides to search for the tower but when she is about to leave, she notices some movement in the tall grass nearby.
>Vigdis draws her axe and notices what seems a female orc observing her while trying to remain unnoticed, but she seem to not realize that the Jötunn Blood can see her forehead popping out the grass thus revealing her position.
>Vigdis waits for few seconds, perplexed, but she also remember the odd statuette she found in the ruins, about the two orcs having sex, so she raises an eyebrow and moves her hand as a gesture of salute towards the other woman.
>The orc woman (an Omen Seeker too) starts as Neutral But Horny and her reaction is “opportunity”, so she will try to get closer to Vigdis and attempt to seduce her, since when generated she randomly obtained the Female Penis (Elusive) Trait which when horny she gets the urge to have sex with anyone within a certain amount of time.
>The orc woman then stands up and salutes her back with a confident laugh and applauds her keen eye while getting closer.
>She obviously shows her hands while approaching as a gesture of peace although she’s armed with a mace.

>cont.
>>
>>94606736
>The orc presents herself as Shezag and that she’s a simple wanderer who follows the will of the bones.
>Vigdis takes a little to understand that she’s referring at a way of fortune-telling by using bones of animals, since she already seen such practice, and this seems to please the orc woman who proposes to read the bones for her as a sign of good will.
>Shezag uses this as an excuse of getting closer to her and succeeds into seducing Vigdis for some sexy time but the Jötunn Blood simply opts for a quick blowjob, partially intrigued by the strange condition of magical nature, but also because she only has to spend 2 Prowess and not loose too much even if she has 4 more thanks to the mysterious stones.
>Moving on after the good time spent together, the duo spends 4 hours looking for the tower until they reach it. Unfortunately the tower is in ruin but is also used as a small camp for a group of 5 bandits (two halflings, two Humans and a dwarf).
>Although Shezag is itching for a proper fight, Vigdis is more careful, especially since they are more than them and they are not even equipped properly so she decides that it’s better to leave but of the two, she’s the one failing her Stealth Check.
>(Aggressive Reaction: Attack) Alarmed, four Bandits simply grab their weapons and chase them down, while the leader remains back at the camp.
>Even if Vigdis has a Melee of +3 and Shezag a mere +1, the Orc manages to easily dispatch the two bandits attacking her, while the Jötunn Blood is almost overrun by the other two where her only damage output was the Retribution Spell she used when combat started.
>Meanwhile the Bandit Leader who observed the whole fight decides that it’s better to run away so she can and plan her revenge later, becoming an Antagonist.
>>
>>94606744
>The duo decides to take everything useful from the bandit and then leave as quickly as possible, while Shezag is rather happy for the fight, Vigdis grumbles for all the hits she suffered.
>They get two bedrolls from the camp and few rations while opening a small chest they find a Firebomb and some Harvesting Tools.
>The orc has no interest in all of this except for the food so she leaves it to Vigdis.
>They move quickly away from the tower and find a sheltered spot elsewhere knowing that even if the bandit would wake up from being defeated they surely won’t try anything against them due to how badly they were beaten.

Speaking of companions, what are the rules around how long they can accompany/share of XP/share of treasure etc?
>>
>>94607133
NPCs that follow you don't get XP and you can just give them all the treasure/equipment you want. For how much they tag along is up to you but I just keep them around for a while then have the Character travel alone because that's how I like playing the game and usually is for balance purpose.
I kept Shezag only because the objective is to reach Wanderer Rank with Vigdis ASAP and then test stuff, so having an ally can speed up the process or help at the beginning. If it wasn't for her Vigdis would have been defeated already due to poor rolls but also I like when random results I get align together, like the figurine found in her backstory randomly gave her the orc Interest and then the first thing she met was an Orc.

Pay from a mission is equally split between all members of the party. The party is only in danger of breaking up if they return from a mission in failure (not strictly defined, more "you know it when you see it"). See page 10 for Simplified or 13 for unabridged companions.

I am sorry anon, but it wasn't until the 3rd time I read that, that I realized she was killed by a skeletal sorcerer, and not by scratching herself to death from an STD, and I was wondering hard which lewd RPG out there was running with STD rules so virulent they were lethal.
>>
>>94607740
You have the worst case of Burgoli's Festering Pubic Lice, roll a willpower check every day on wakeup to determine if you can resist the urge to scratch, on critfail take d3 damage from how much you scrape at your flesh.
>>
>>94608263
Hey, no playing my ex!
>>
>>94607510
Maybe that could work for Lewd Attack, but Labyrinthus works differently. You don't usually return from missions unless you have a place to stay, like a camp or a settlement and NPCs usually have their own agenda. Shezag is an Omen Seeker, so her goals are simply given by reading the bones, an by being an Orc money is not always something she can care of (that's why she was happy for the scrap with the bandits). So that's why is up to the player decide when to keep an allied NPC and when get rid of them and also why there are various event that could cause the party split up, like being lost in the fog (currently they are traveling through some fog), being captured by monsters, being teleported etc

Traditionally, are paladins allowed to take sexual prisoners and build harems?
>>
>>94612291
No, traditionally Paladins as seen in DnD and derivate traditions are the western monks and not called Crusaders because people are cucks (originally a Paladin is a retainer knight of Charlemagne), and thus celibate.

Of course that depends on the precepts and God that is worshipped by the order/oath, so make up some excuse and go right ahead.
>>
>>94612345
Thank you for the insight! This is actually a bit helpful.
Besides alignment, what differences are there between a Paladin and an evil version (I believe it's called a Death Knight or a Dark Knight or something like that.) I was thinking about just playing a Paladin and calling it a dark knight, and flavoring all of his abilities with evil power instead of good.
>>
I'm in an erp DND server, I'm still making a character. I want her to be a dominatrix type, but I've only ever played subs. How do I RP as a Dom without being boring?
>>
>>94612345
One time I had a DM that ran paladins in his 3.5 campaign like this: "Paladins aren't devoted to a god the way a cleric is. Instead, they are champions of a cause or champions of a specific lord or patron. Now, if that patron or cause is a specific god or religion that's fine. But they can just as commonly be there to uphold an ideal or a sworn oath to a master. It's not alignment that matters so much as how their patron/cause/ideal would mesh with their actions. Everything a paladin does should be to uphold that ideal, and everything that a paladin does that should blemish that ideal makes them question themselves and their cause to a degree that could cost them the powers that ideal bestows upon them."
>>
>>94612397
I used to play a lot of play-by-post RPGs in forums back in the day, and those games had a lot of ERP and erotic content. Whenever I played a dom, I thin the thing that made those characters good, and stick out a lot, was coming up with other aspects of the character that were interesting or worth exploring besides the fact that they were just a dom. Like, make her a clown, or a crime boss, or something. Give her a specific angle to approach sexual dominance rather than just whips and chains and denial or whatever.
>>
>>94609144
Oh, right, people are actually discussing Labrynthus this thread. My bad.
>>
>>94612362
Paladins are THE lawful good class (old school DND paladins could only be Lawful Good). An nigga in full armour that uses evil powers is usually called a Blackguard (a Death Knight is actually mostly a Warcraft term denoting risen champions). DnD has oathbreakers but I actually think getting power from breaking your oath is dumb.

That said, there are I think two approaches to 'evil paladin'. A paladin is different from a cleric in that they get their power as part of an oath to do something, and also in that different from a mere warrior blessed by the Divine. But oaths seem to work because of the difficulty of virtue and scarcity of righteousness, which doesn't really work for evil because noone is evil for the sake of being evil, but rather to fulfil some desires of theirs. Being evil is a lack of righteousness, so oaths to be evil don't really make sense.

Therefore option 1 is to basically be a warlock in plate, having made some pact with a demon or a dark god for power. You have to make sacrifices, accomplish the things objectives and the thing gives you power for your own ends.

The second option for 'evil', which also might fit the vibe you want, is Black Knight. Basically go all in on the "With Fire and Sword" aspect and zealotry. Bring the savages to heel, your oath of conquest. Technically not evil, but Good is not Nice in extremis. You could go for a civilize them with dick vibe for the harem in this instance.

A lot also depends on the particular setting of course and it's cosmo and theology, as this >>94612413 anon illustrates. Personally in one of my own settings I ran the difference from Clerics as "Paladins get powers not from God directly, but because their oath resonates with the Hallowed Dead". (This was mostly so I could have a Cleric vs Paladin civil war)
>>
>>94612466
I mean the anon asked a question by quoting the Labyrinthus greentext here>>94606754
>>
Oh, hey, a chance to sperg about Paladins
>>94612413
Paladins have probably shifted the most out of all classes over the course of the editions, and a lot of that is tied to Alignment and dieties, two things that have always been a bit of a pain in the ass. Way back in 1 and 2E, they were actually an off-brand Fighter, while the Druid was the Prietst/Cleric variant. In fact, given that as far as 2E, Priests being devoted to specific deities was a strictly optional feature, I would venture that what we call Divine Magic stems from devotion to the Alignment instead. I think the intermix actually stems from the Forgotten Realms, where characters have to have at least a notional relationship with a specific diety to claim their soul, lest they be cast into the Great Living Wall in the Sky upon death, but explicitly tying Paladins as a Divine Champion rather than a Champion of Law and Good didn't occur all the way until Pathfinder. However, since nobody ever really noticed the change, I consider it likely that this is simply the codification of how people were already doing it anyway. Under those circumstances, I actually prefer removal of the Alignment restrictions, and--just to drive it home--giving each deity their own specific subclass of Paladin to serve as their order of holy warriors.
(cont)
>>
>>94613090
>>94612529
Taking from the above, I see 4 options for what >>94612291 is looking for. The first is the Anti-Paladin, in the vein of the Alignment focus, as a Champion of Chaos and Evil.
Secondly is the 3E Blackguard, which while not explicitly requiring Paladin levels as a prerequisite, is meant as a "cash-in" for fallen Paladins that go all the way to the dark side. While Paladins in 3E still operate on Alignment basis per RAW, they do require an Evil Outsider patron to initially bestow the class upon them, likely with all sorts of strings attached.
Then, thirdly, is the Divine Champion of an Evil deity option, nothing much to add there.
And the 4th, of course, is just to cosmologiaclly ordain that rape is not an Evil act. That has a LOT of implications if you're a prolific worldbuilder, but maybe that's all you need.

I keep seeing greentexts for Lewd Attack, but are there any examples of actual play?
>>
>>94623282
You mean like examples of how to do each step?
Such as: pick the character, then roll on this table, you got this result so you have to solve it in this way, then you roll again, etc
>>
>>94623282
I imagine it's because the gameplay is fairly obvious - LA is a mono premise game, that is intended to be fairly predictable, but does still have a fair amount of rolls, which are just easier to just skip over. Plus the roll required of oracles, thus the interest in demonstrating how you used that oracle roll is minimal.
>>
>>94626199
Eh, stuff like combat, Lust gain and sex-skills, and losing layers of armor could need some examples of play.
>>
>>94626811
That's true actually. It's not entirey clear to me how to handle the enemy getting full lust in the middle of their turn - I have tended to just resolve all the grope rolls that turn and start rape attempts with the next, but perhaps it is intended that if you already have like 5 overwhelm the last guy can come with the full blast of the Rape Attempt.
>>
>>94626866
I think the intent is that you immediately resolve a rape attempt with all enemies participating even if they had already acted that round.
>>
>>94626866

Found some other Heart players in recent threads and decided to take another, more focused stab at my Lewd Heart campaign. One party, five characters, one shot at glory.

> Moonlight-Upon-Bare-Flesh, aka Moon, the Aelfir Incarnadine. Seeking revenge on her rival Incarnadines.
> Nox Nightly, Human Junk Mage. The Incarnadines literally own his soul. He takes exception to that.
> Also a Cleaver, Vermissian Knight, and Deadwalker, details TBD.

> Felicia Mataline, Human Deadwalker and member of the Salvatious Gryndel Hunting Club, looking to kill (and honestly, fuck) as many beasts as she can before her death properly takes.

Not sure if anyone else in the thread besides me likes Rapture World (from the OP) but I'm considering starting another run and I want to make some additions to both the setting and system to focus it on a pregnancy risk/impregnation theme.

since the system has no mechanic, I had to invent one. I find that the simplest method (roll a d10 or d6, get babby on a 1) leads to disappointment, since what will likely happen is that nothing comes of scenes you really liked.
so, as an alternative, I'm going to try an escalating system I call the "creampie die". when a female (PC or NPC) gets cummed inside of, they roll a d6, and pregnancy occurs on a 1. but every time this happens, the die type goes down by one. so, second time it's d5, next time d6, all the way down to a minimum of d2. whenever a 1 is rolled, the die refreshes back to d6. this gives an incentive for the PC to try and lead allies and enemies into pregnancy while keeping her own risks minimal.

The creampie die is rolled at the beginning of a sexual encounter, not at the end. it isn't rolled for any potentially sexual encounter, only one where sex has begun - once the girl touches a dick or a guy touches pussy, it's rolled. this means that the risk will go up even from scenes where nobody gets cummed inside of.
whenever any female (including teachers and other non-students) is impregnated and the PC was involved at all, the PC instantly gains 5 experience points, or 10 experience points if it was an enemy.

(more in next post)

Time progression and story arcs:
Due to the change in emphasis, time is made to pass more quickly. This also allows 'winning' by 'surviving' until graduation without getting pregnant (though that is unlikely, by design).
There is one "story arc" per month.
A story arc is the appearance of a threat/opportunity/other plot point, and it being either resolved, or five days passing, whichever comes first. Following each story arc, a month passes. If it was a particularly involved one (discretion; if it took 4 or 5 days or some major milestone was reached, it's "involved") two months pass. This means there will be between 4 and 8 story arcs per year, plus potentially one or two extra taking place during summer vacation.

Pregnancy progression: Due to time passing faster, pregnant PCs or NPCs will start developing their bump over the course of the rest of the year. Generally speaking, students and teachers will continue attending classes right up until the moment they go into labor. However, once that moment arrives, they are suspended from the Academy (or go on maternity leave, in the case of teachers). Since living on the campus is mandatory for students and children aren't allowed to live in the dorms, normally this means "Game Over" for a PC, or disappearing from the narrative for an NPC - this is the main "death state" of this version of Rapture World, rather than actual death. See the section on in-setting rules for possible alternatives for a character to continue as a student. While pregnancy normally develops at the expected rate, mad science can accelerate it.

Contraception and cum avoidance
Due to the heavy consequences (see setting changes), PCs and NPCs will usually be strongly motivated to avoid pregnancy. However, due to certain aspects of the Academy, the most reliable methods like birth control pills and implants don't work. Even condoms are rendered more unreliable than they would otherwise be - they are very likely to break even if handled with care. If a condom is used and nobody (the guy, the girl, or a third party) goes out of their way to sabotage it, a creampie die that comes up as a 1 is cancelled. Reduce the die type by 1 (just as if a new sex encounter had begun) and roll again. If the new result is also a 1, the girl is impregnated as usual. the creampie die roll was a 2 and a condom was used, it failed, but the girl dodged the bullet anyway.

besides condoms, mad science inventions can help prevent pregnancy, but never flawlessly or reliably. at best, they work for a single story arc, then run out or break down.
because it's tied to the magic of the school itself, magic can never be used to directly, specifically prevent pregnancy. It can still do so indirectly (such as using an illusion to make the guy who blackmailed you into letting him fuck you think he's giving you a creampie when it's actually an onahole between two pillows, etc.)
However, unfortunately for the girls, the opposite is not true. The "Curse" spell can be used to make a victim 'hyper fertile', which means the victim is guaranteed to get pregnant the next time she takes a creampie. (And in this version, this is the most common type of curse).
Likewise, mad science can make someone hyper-fertile. It can also make a male hyper-virile, which has the same effect but tied to the male subject instead.

Cum avoidance (cont):
Since contraception is so sketchy, most students rely on the withdrawal method. Since the academy rules stack the deck in favor of evil male students (as well as professors, janitorial staff, visiting daddies/brothers/uncles of students, and various other ugly bastards who get access to fertile schoolgirls) to let them evade responsibility, the males fucking female students and staff tend to be indifferent at best about the prospect of their sperm wrecking some girl's life.

At the beginning of a sexual encounter, determine if the male (or futa, etc.) wants to cum inside or not. Roll a d6.
If the male is a threat/enemy, or something like a demon or other inhuman creature (or a human possessed by same), they will want to cum inside on a 2+. If they weren't generated as a threat or enemy, they'll want to cum inside on a 4+. If it's a boyfriend or ally, they won't want to cum inside on a 5+.
For NPC girls, by default they won't want any dicks to give them a creampie unless they're hypnotized, unless corruption has caused them to gain a pregnancy risk fetish (which will be the most common result of gaining one after getting 5 corruption points).

The "dominate them" or "manipulate them" moves can be used to convince a male who wants to cum inside to try not to.

During sex, if a female character fails her "endure pleasure" roll, she is automatically creampied if the male wanted to. If he didn't want to to begin with, roll a d3. On a 1, he cums in her anyway.

If the male wants to cum inside and the girl passes her endure pleasure roll, she must use "Restrain another" or "Slip away" to stop him from doing so.

On the rare occasions that a girl wants a male to cum inside her but the male doesn't want to, she can use "Restrain Another", "Manipulate them" or "Dominate them" to make him do so.

Setting changes
Rapture Academy's secret goal shifts from simply breaking girls into sex slaves into breeding them. The ancient magic of the place works to this end by sabotaging attempts to use contraceptives (see above), totally nullifying chemical methods and making physical barrier methods far less effective.
To facilitate this, the Academy rules (often only revealed to female students after they're already enrolled) state that abortion is grounds for immediate and permanent expulsion. Not only that, but because the magical and pseudoscience experiments of the school supposedly make DNA testing unreliable, any paternity test on a student or staff member of Rapture Academy is considered inadmissible unless the student can prove to the administrators that a given male is the father. If any witnesses come forward saying that the girl in question had sex with others during the two-month conception window, the male is absolved of all legal responsibility.
many female students realize all too late how badly this system is stacked against them, since the likelihood of someone disliking them enough to come forward and claim to have seen her fucking other males besides the one she's filing a paternity claim on, is very high.
statistically, less than one in 10 paternity claims sticks, and that 1 in 10 is mainly because the girl takes the initiative to lie, cheat, and threaten to rig the outcome in her favor.
Sometimes, there's no attempt to contest such a claim. This is because many financial backers of the school (or staff or citizens who just happen to be in the know), a.k.a. the "ugly bastards", see Rapture Academy as a source of sexy young trophy wives, and knock a girl up to claim her.

Non-humans
Whether due to the magic of the academy or their own qualities, non-human creatures are all too capable of getting a human girl pregnant. The result can be either an equally feral monster if the 'father' was animalistic (the traditional way to deal with such spawn is 'abandon it in the woods and let the next generation of students worry about it').

As for results that are more humanlike, such "mistakes of nature" from 18 years ago are where more than a few House Medusa and House Saturn students come from.

Likewise, monstergirls from House Medusa typically can (and very often do) get pregnant by human males. The only exception is those where it's obviously impossible such as ghosts (unless some really weird uses of magic or mad science get involved).

(END. I'm planning to incorporate this into a google doc after giving it a playtest this weekend. I'll greentext it.)

yeah, that's fair. in my defense, you've got to get up pretty early in the morning to out-autistic the Lewd Attack anons. Even with this extra chapter, I'm adding on, Rapture World is still a far simpler and more abstract game than LA.

It pains me to say that and this must be really frustrating for you, but that "passion" ability is really lame.
How about, once you hit Aroused or Horny during combat, enemies must roll Mental Strength against your Corruption or suffer some kind of malus.
Or each Fetish adding to your spellcasting (who cares if it's overpowered).

>>94636618
It's fine? It lets you actually have sex with things. Should be stamina and sanity, though
>>
>>94636635
No. The game is not about sex.
It's about boosting STR to max and doing sick damage.
>>
>>94636659
My proposition of gaining fetishes requires them to have sex, though.
>>
>>94636659
Having sex with things is a consequence of boosting PER and doing sick damage, though

Ideally evil characters should have some way to gain lust, because you want to have lust to be able to have sex with things without hitting your stamina/sanity from the overflow. But you can kind of get that from corruption and/or mindbreaking yourself, so the ability to then recover stamina/sanity from vanilla lust gain mechanics is a fair second.

On an unrelated note I am once again going to say that power from darkness should be swapped with a set of vow-like things.

No no I meant for wearing Covered armour, the agility limit was the main downside, but that doesn't really make sense (unless they are much lowered), because as it stands at this point only heavy armour wearers that max out agility have any occassion not to go heavy plate.
>>

>because as it stands at this point only heavy armour wearers that max out agility have any occassion not to go heavy plate
Main drawback to plate is that enemies can't sexually harass, which means that they attack a turn earlier than normal. The agility penalty is crippling for some character obviously, but the not-grope is universally really really bad to have unless you're A) willing to repeatedly repair your armor and B) not fighting anything actually dangerous. Plate is doubly bad since things like dragons are the ones that force you to Dodge rather than e.g. Block or Parry.
Also armor is actually expensive, so it's pretty easy to get +3 bikini armor compared to +3 plate.

Fair enough
>>
>>94636930
I do agree that like 95%+ of characters are going to end up in steel breastplate eventually. The biggest drawback there is causing less lust so you're less likely to get dudes to 50% lust for the die penalty, but the dangerous lategame stuff doesn't use lust anyway.

They don't utilize DNA pairing the way actual procreation does. They simply require the egg and womb in which the offspring gestates. In this way they are akin to an invasive parasite, and why -aside from genetic outliers- they are incapable of inheriting intelligence or temperament of the host mother. An easy indication of this is the number of offspring, with impregnated women birthing between two to four orc children, and between five to eight (sometimes up to twelve) goblins. A consideration is also the gestation period, with goblin children taking three to four months, and orc children taking five to eight months. The direct offspring of an woman impregnated by goblins or orcs are not burdened by genetic degradation that would manifest in incestuous couplings. Generationally, the offspring can continue utilizing the same captured female repeatedly, and only a single goblin father with a fertile female host could produce an entire hive in a few short years. The saving grace is that goblins are not intelligent enough to industrialize this facet of their biology, and often kill the captured females after a few broods for food or entertainment. It is a fundamental and self-evident reason why the creatures must be eliminated at every possible opportunity.

I should probably finish that Lewdyria update soon.

Yeah "If the greenskins breed and mature that fast, wouldn't they overpopulate very quickly?" was one od my concerns. I was wondering if 'a lot of infighting and backstabbing' could be enough.
Also, what's Lewdyria?

Lewdyria is a homebrew setting doc for LA anon made, it's ok, the blessings are interesting.

Overpopulation generally countered through infighting, yeah, as well as rapidly diminished lifespans. Candle that burns twice as bright and all that. There's the argument that any female capable of bearing goblin offspring would invariably be kept locked up inside 24/7 to prevent any sort of capture. But you could also argue that an all-hands call to exterminate the goblins and orcs is more important, especially since a well-armed female could potentially kill more goblins and rescue more victims than would be added by falling, so the value is in allow more women out as adventurers than kept as wedded slaves. Also implied that several kingdoms/fiefdoms actually do treat women that way.

The framing is meant to put some level of existential dread onto the character as to try to not get caught, as their bodies will be direct fuel for the destruction of their home, family, community, etcetera. Several combative critters in LA offer capture scenarios, and more in additional homebrews. Problem was that the threat and outcome was kinda the same. So instead, the greenskins actually having some pragmatic purpose to their activities raises the stakes. Some of it was also inspired by Sabudenego's work, which is extremely lewd, super dark, and downright depressing at times.

"it's ok" is some of the best praise I could hope for.
