>>94668192That would leave quite the murder scene I imagine. I’ll consider it if I ever get the chance, but my form of nomading doesn’t really lead to that sort of encounter very often.I’m assuming you meant the I-35 and I-80 intersections, and if so be careful. Last time I was in Des Moines the Prince’s reign was starting to falter, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s going to become contested territory. Assuming it already hasn’t of course.
>Get told about how the book of nod is a great lie made by 3rd generation to create infighting and war>This guy hands me Revelations of the dark mother >It's the book of nod with more animal fucking Why are the Anarcs like this
>>94670864Yeah. Fuck me running, just a glimpse of those things has me going through psychosomatic heart palpitations. Anyone else have that happen? Mushy undead brains pranking you by making you think your body is responding the way it would if you still needed oxygen? It's a bit annoying, but I guess it's better than having to try and hide a bloodsweat on a bus full of Kine.
>>94671142LMAOBehold: White women!
>>94670864>Cammies AND WerewolvesThe Priscus we'd having run the trains on that particular track would have to a strategic genius or someone who's pissed off every Bishop from here to Massachusetts.Granted, it wouldn't be the first time we took up a lost cause.>>94671149Breathing is always a fun thing to unlearn. Especially if the Bishop's idea of unlearning involves hucking you into a millpond. Maybe there's a Game of Instinct in there somewhere, some task you and your competitors gotta do underwater that takes longer than 3 or 4 minutes.
>>94671205Oh, I get it! Like when Ramirez dumped Connor out of the rowboat!Wait...are you saying you went through an IRL version of that?
>>94671149Yeah, i’m kinda sensitive to anything related to breathing. If someone tried to choke me or if i’m drowning i’ll freak out, and if I crash my bike or something I’ll hyperventilate. Honestly it’s kind of comforting to have those reactions>>94671205I’d feel bad for whoever gets put in that role, but I’ve also never had a mostly positive experience in a Sabbat city so fuck em
I MADE DRUG BLOOD BUT THE ONLY THING I COULD GET TO WORK WAS ALCOHOL AND I ALMOST FLAT LINED ONE OF MY CONNECS DOING IT. HE WAS SO FUCKING HIGH THOUGH THAT HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON.HE HASNT REALLY COME DOWN YET BUT HES BEGGING FOR ANOTHER HIT AND I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCK I GAVE HIM I TRIED SO MUCH SHIT. HE LEFT AND CAME BACK WITH LIKE 7 GRAND HES BEGGING ME AND I CANT HELP HIM ITS WIERD AS FUCK, BUT SUNDOWN ISNT FOR AN HOUR SO IM STUCK HERE WHILE HES CURLED UP IN A BALL CRYIN AND SHIT.DOES ANYONE HAVE GOOD RECIPES FOR DRUG BLOOD? THIS DUDE MAY BE FREAKIN OUT BUT HES MY HOMIE, THIS DUDE IS ONE OF MY TOP SELLERS FR I DONT WANT THIS CORNY FREAKSHOW SHIT I JUST WANNA GET HIGH.
>>94671378if you are around sassafrass tress, here's how to make something fun.>take sassafrass root bark>steam distill>you now have almost pure safrole>react safrole oil with HBr>Neutralize with a base>afterwards react with an ammonium solution>ta-da MDMAgive to a kine, then feed off him for a good time
Arrived in Cairo. Crawled inside a plane to get there before the holidays are over
>>94671435THAT SOUNDS PRETTY FUCKING SWEET. IM GLAD I FOUND THIS WEBSITE, I WAS KIND OF FREAKING OUT. I HAVENT SEEN THE DUDE WHO GAVE ME THE BITE IN TWO WEEKS AND I GOT THIS WEB ADDY FROM A GUY I MET ON THE 6 TRAIN. IVE BEEN STRESSING OUT BIG TIME BECAUSE I GET HIGH TO RELAX, YOU KNOW? IM GONNA TIE THIS DUDE UP I HOPE NO ONE COMES LOOKIN FOR HIM BECAUSE HE CANT BE WALKIN AROUND OUTSIDE LIKE THIS RIGHT? I DONT WANT THE COPS TO SHOW UP OR SOME SHIT I GOT TOO MUCH CONTRABAND HERE.
>>94671223There wasn't a rowboat involved and I didn't have enough time to yell, but yeah. Pretty much.
>>94671559Be sure to send me a souvenir! Always wanted to see the pyramids in Giza.
>>94671652So it was like John Wayne teaching a young boy how to swim?
Well I think I've figured out a combination technique for disciplines, gonna test it some more just to see if it's replicable or if I just got a one off effect
>>94672313I've heard of some of those. Do let us know what you've discovered.
From the shadows I've arisenTo the darkness I shall goTell my kindred,How does your night dwell?
So I introduced myself to the authority then got to my new mansion. I like the space, but lots of cleaning up to do. And walls to fix. And ceilings. And floors.I’m going to be busy. It’s weird. I never had that big of a hideout before. Something more permanent. It’ll certainly be harder to hide my feedings and whatever shit I do. Well, whatever happens happen. I can always swim in someone else’s pool if I can’t keep my house clean.
>>94671171Honestly of all the lively instincts, the sexual urge is probably the one I'm gladest to be rid of. I have to admit I don't quite understand understand kindred like>>94671378Or any of the Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll Crowd. I understand it's an important hunting ground for some but crying about drugs, it's all in your soul I guess? Our brains don't think, Hell I'm not even sure the exact mechanism that we can get second hand high. I know it works but are you drinking the chemical or remembering the kine thoughts from the blood? It's an easy way to bootstrap some money so long as you don't plan on sticking in one place for too long but other then that?In other news, I've decided to ahh 'acculturate' to modern music and culture. I'm not even that old honestly and so much of today sounds like trash. I never thought I would miss the women singing in my village, but I do. >>94673171Here is a short video clip that I discovered while searching for music and vampiric bywords online. How do the kids say it, We are fanging and banging? Which one of you was this anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALFMYWFRjQs
>>94671142>book of nod is a great lie made by 3rd generation to create infighting and war>It's main adherents are at war with the 3rd generationDid they imply that it's made by a secret group of the 3rd generation trying to stir up discontent at specifically their brothers, or what?>It's the book of nod with more animal fuckingGangrels trying to normalize their fetish, or others trying to get in on the action?>>94673171Well. Ghouls are amazing when you feed them enough blood. In retrospect, I now wonder if the average servitor (my living self included) is little more than a vitae-addicted mortal. Noddists probably feel demeaned by the idea of essentially hunting for another and the logistics just wouldn't work out for most camarilla, to say nothing of how short term most power structures seem to be these days.Looking like I'll have some action planned to coincide with the cover of the new year festivities.>>94673742>So I introduced myself to the authority then got to my new mansion.Another degenerate ancilla going legit. Dare I say it, are we becoming a good influence on the youth?
>>94667379Do the tremere run New Orleans? If so, that's news to me. Culturally, it seems more of a sabbat city, with the supernatural being an accepted part of life. Hell, wangateur or not, if someone say's they've been cursed by voodoo, the average kine there will believe it. My youth may make me brash, and latent narcissism was already a flaw of mine when mortal, so I will apologize for being so out of place with you. Tone, as you may know is difficult to hear over text, unless you happen to know that malkavian figuring out technomancy. Whatever happened to them anyways? Beyond that, pardon me for the outburst, it was not befitting of me. Travel can make one moody, and my tutor was not pleased about my dalliances, knowledge gained or not. Also, I swear some Jebediah D'artangon Tibedeaux had auspex, as someone shot at me while flowing overhead INVISIBLY. Impressive as he hit my cloak and then took another shot that, had I not stopped immediately, would've hit center mass. Strange folks in the swamps, I tell you what. >>946676731v1 Halo Deathmatch pleb, see who's talking then>>94668192I'll keep that in mind if it ever snows down here. Try as I might, the wind sees snow as a foreign concept and speaks of "that damn Blue Norther, thinking he can blow in my turf every damn decade and throw this powdery shit around." Would make sense why texans as a whole freak out over a single snowflake. The sky itself here hates it. >>94669691you know I do
>>94673840lol as if I’ll stop being a degenerate I’m still a mercenary
>>94673876that's the shark we all know and love. I will say, your croc form will be more advantageous in the Nile than your shark form. A few lost travelers suffering misadventure by your jaws will likely go completely unnoticed.
>>94673920…ThatIsAmazing!Hey do you think I’ll ever see a mummy?
>>94673845Lord knows who runs new orleans. Last time I was there it had a tremere prince though, yes.>Culturally, it seems more of a sabbat cityAs I understand, it is one of the active battlegrounds of that war. I haven't heard that the revolution was successful so to my knowledge it's still ongoing, but I'm hardly up to date.>Also, I swear some Jebediah D'artangon Tibedeaux had auspexRevenant family, maybe? Seems like a good place to hide your insular secretive inbreds.>>94673876>lol as if I’ll stop being a degenerate Sure, but if you're fixing up a mansion doesn't that imply you expect to be being a degenerate on the same few payrolls in the coming years? Thinking about cleaning is hardly the domain of a rootless nomad.
>>94673931Well I had many hideouts before, and stayed at different places ranging from months to years. It’s just, even animals aren’t dumb enough to shit where they eat. And even a beastie like me likes to fancy up from time to time.
I learned how to turn into mud a week ago and I'm enjoying it way too much. It's all I've done for the past few days, it's wonderful. It's like the sensory deprivation experience I always wanted and never got, all I want to do is be part of the earth anymore.
If none of you have ever traveled to the furthest north and experienced eternal night under the northern lights, you are missing out.I always spend the winter solstice as close to the north pole as possible, just to enjoy being awake for a week straight. You don't need to sleep through the day if there is no day, after all.>>94673930Break into a British museum and you'll see a couple. Sadly, not as many as there should be, because the Brits were grinding them up and snorting them.>>94674086I've seen turning into mist, blood, and a glob of shadow, but never seen mud. Or are you just sinking into the earth?>>94673931If you don't keep your equipment clean as a rootless nomad, you'll soon find it betraying you at the worst possible moment. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and we're gods of the old hunt.
>>94667724Oh so you’re that kind of kindred. Sounds thoroughly vile, and i’m glad to say i’ve never, knowingly at least, met one. Nothing good comes from Toreador vitae.>>94667806They’re all perverts to me, but now that you mention it, most of them i’ve met have been of the Cainite persuasion

Okay so whoever told me the shapeshifting wendigos were Ravanos was right. these guys were downright feral and were worshipping some bug looking human statue. wierd as fuck but i am glad that this is over
>>94675956IA IA CTHULA FTHAGNIA IA CTHULA FTHAGNIA IA CTHULA FTHAGN
>>94676003You know i sometime wonder. if there are other fictional supernatural also real. like is Cthula real or just made up from the minds of a schizo? are Dragons real or did the entire world just decided to draw giant fire breating lizards?
>>94676049The way I imagine it, everything people fictionalize may be real, but probably more, or just different, than what you imagine.Like, you had some image of vampires before the embrace, but I bet you'd never considered all the different kinds of vamps that you now know exist, did you?
>>94676049The Fae are real, so really anything could be out there I think
>>94676098But are leprechauns real? I think it exists in the same vein as Santa, a corporate image inspired by some folk tale.
>>94673930Which, the classic egyptian mummy most people think of or the actual undead ones because I would recommend avoiding the undead ones as they have some nasty tricks up their sleeve and don't take kindly to kindred dicking about, especially setites, they have an unyielding hatred of the setites.
>>94676567They are 100% real but don't have a pot of goldThey have special collections like say model planes or collectable figures If you see a wall of fanko dolls there's a 50% chance it's a leprechaun
>>94676567Yes, but don’t bother with those drunkards. In fact don’t mess with the Fae at all
>>94677411unless you are a ravenos then avoid the fae, ravenos scare the absolute shit out of the faemostly due to the clan's discipline chimerstry
>>94673845Alright, I'll DM it to you. Now there's some magical jargon in this recipe I don't personally understand(which makes it's presence in my head a bit odd, now that I think about it) but I'm confident you'll be able to work it out. One thing I'm certain of:Chilli con Carni is neither s typo nor a misspelling. The Carni is the one ingredient you can't substitute. Something to do with the metaphysical link between carnival folk and deception helping to deceive your dead body it has a functioning digestive tract. You know one of these days I'm going to have a psychotic episode over these random facts inexplicably showing up inside my brain . But not today.
>>94674463That's another good reason for me to pick up Protean from Shark. I was pretty damn nervous the one time I had to cocoon myself in a blackout curtain curled up in the hollow of a dead tree. Just being able to sink into the earth if nothing else is available sounds like a life saver. What do you go for when you have to build your own shelter? Horseman took me out into the woods one night, we found a place where a hill looked like a part had just been sliced off. Looked kinda like Г and was about three feet up. Horseman showed me how to pound some stakes to hold up a wall, chink it with mud, and make a roof out of cross hatched branches with leaves on em and some blankets. We spent the day on there, him lying on top of me, under three layers of thick wool bedrolls. NGL, it was kinda hot.
>>94677887Control your perversion, fledgling! Thou shall NOT lust after thine own sire's cock!!
>>94677004>If you see a wall of fanko dolls there's a 50% chance it's a leprechaunI always knew I'd be doing the world a favor by killing fanko collectors
>>94677887Shelter is over rated when on the road. The amount of time it takes to create something light tight will leave you with no time to enjoy the night.Your blackout curtain and hollow tree trunk was a solid method, although leaves some possibility of being found. Children are inquisitive, and will try and open the mystery cocoon if they find you. Or worse, call the authorities thinking you are a corpse. Well, an immobile corpse. Two industrial grade black trash bags can do wonders. Curl into a small ball inside a double bag, seal the mouth with duct tape or the like, and do your best impression of trash. If you are near a large body of water, load up a couple rocks as well, and just walk along the bottom until you are deep enough to avoid detection. Leave your clothes and the like hidden nearby. Never travel with anything you aren't willing to lose at random. If you can meet me half way in Anchorage, I can teach you the basics of protean. Figure I'm a bit saner than our resident fish too.
>>94676049The Technocracy hates this post.
>>94678760Dragons are real. It’s far too unlikely that all cultures had myths about them and they aren’t real. Like Santa. Do you really think ALL adults are lying to their children? Doesn’t that sound like a child’s conspiracy that ALL grown up’s are in on.
>>94678894Dragons are a mixture of primordial human fears, same with a ton of other mythological beasties. How many of them are "giant cat, giant hawk, snake/gator, venomous bug, and a MAN!" thrown into a blender? As for "Winter solstice gift man" Yes, it's a grand conspiracy telling children that the all seeing winter god will give them sweets and treats if they obey their parents during the worst time of year to be alive. Nothing like waking up to six feet of snow appearing at your door.
>>94677887that can be arranged, Protean is relatively easy to separate and that specific power can be sectioned off easily enough. Though I would like to know why you are on the road, also I don't remember your clan, knowing that can make it easier to adjust the potion.
>>94679008That all sounds cool and logical, but I’m pretty sure they are more in line whit how the easterns think. More spirits of the tao and all that. In other news. The bar opeing is going along as planned. Got some kine to work the bars during daylight hours, my ghoul will be manager of the establishment. Currently just waiting on our greatest enemy. The enemy of all kindred and kine, supernatural and mundane: bureaucratic approval and business licenses. Where’s a ventrue when you need one.
>>94678894Hah! You stole my joke!
>>94679275pretty sure Lady is busy with the assassination attempt in DC. but I'm sure you'll be fine.
>>94679097Brujah Antitribu. Aaaaaand that's also one of the reasons I live (un)life on tge road. That and even in this day and age vampire news cam travel slowly to other cities, let alone countries. Slowly and inaccurately, see the earlier confusion in this thread about who runs Nawlins. Third reason is that it's easier to stay a step ahead of the people hunting you if you're always stepping. Finally, it's just how my Sire raised me. It might be a cold war, but it's a global one. Before I go slurping down your thick, creamy liquid I should ask what sect are in, anyway?
>>94679680Flirty, I like you. As for sect, neutral though I'll do business with anyone, I've been alive long enough that neither the anarch, sabbat or camarilla will try anything, that and the last time a little shit tried he got thrown into the shadowlands and was subsequently torn apart by the wraiths. Though to be honest I did that because I couldn't be bothered to get creative with it.
All my posts are treated as spam
>>94678894>>94679008Wouldn't dragons just be spirits? There are mortals that can perform sorceries and no shortage of tribal cultures that have had people (supposedly) communicating with spirits, surely some great billowing snake-like cloud of poison or fire could be responsible for many depictions in the popular cultures of history. Every source I can find suggests that the supernatural was much more commonplace in the past, it would be little surprise that things like the hydra are nigh-on historic accounts.>>94679680If you haven't taken the vaulderie then learning disciplines from someone is going to involve receiving a bloodbond. Not that meeting someone online is a good way to stay alive, anyway.
>>94680059I won't be blood bonding the stripper, I'm not a tremere.
>>94680059>>94679275That’s what I’m of the opinion of. Mayhaps a few kine visionaries could perceive them and that’s how the myths got started.
>>94680129You'd think the cammies could get something other than the most clueless fledglings to run their entrapment schemes, but in this case at least I suppose the boss in question is known to be hardly more than a neonate that can't help but run her mouth.
>>94679680Sister sister on the roadAlways doing what you’re toldIs it for your protection,Or will you follow your own direction
>>94680148I don't know about visions being the sole cause for the myths. My guess is that it's a mix of visions/storytellers making things up and seeing a supernatural creature they couldn't quite explain.
>>94676049>SteveDAMN YOU STEVE, YOU WERE MEANT TO SAVE BLUE NOT DAMN US ALL.
>>94680192Y'know Anat, with how often you bring Blue up or try to get a rise out of her, one might think you have a crush.
>>94680371This is a poor deflection from the point. Has anyone else paid tarvos' shit? No? Then who else would I possibly bring up?
>>94680436Oh I don't care about your issue with Tarvos, whatever the hell it is. Guy strikes me as an Elder with a bunch of time and powers but not enough of a political stake for the real big dogs to deal with. You get those sorts. Hey, unlive long enough and you might join him in middling elderhood. I'm just saying, you reply to her pretty often when the convo doesn't involve you, you've brought her up unprompted before, and you didn't really deny the accusation either.
>>94680436Why would I want to go through all that trouble to bloodbond a shovelhead? also why do you assume I am not having stripper pay? She hasn't given any indication that she even wants to take me up on my offer. The only thing I'd want in return is a bloodbag filled with her vitae for my experiments into the mutability of kindred blood.Also>>94680479 is partly correct, I am an elder, with a lot of time and power, and I am really bored as of late and I can't go into torpor so I need to do something to pass the time. I'm getting too tired to argue with Anat, night guys.
>>94680519Friendly advice old timer, best not take Anat too seriously. He's a Setite for one, those guys are universally untrustworthy liars who get off dragging other people to their level. Two, he's going through a mid-unlife crisis because it finally hit him he's a rather unimpressive vampire considering his age. So he's more bitchy than usual. I'd also say don't get involved with Stripper, the girl's a walking talking red flag and I still think her sire did something to her brain. But hey, I'm starting to pick up on a pattern here.
>>94673845>Do the tremere run New Orleans? That would make sense, what with the voodoo and all.
>>94680519I'll give you some time to go ask your sire how knowledge of disciplines that are not native to the blood is transmitted before I rake you through the coals on this one.>also why do you assume I am not having stripper pay?You would at least think the fledgling they put to this should understand the english language, as one of the baselines of competence to qualify for the position, right? Even if you hadn't played your hand already, you can hardly claim to be bound by some aulden tongue that doesn't understand the word "pay" when it's an older meaning than how you've interpreted it, let alone most of the phrases used here.
>>94680519Alright then. So that leaves me trying to get to Egypt, waiting for Shark to come back to this hemisphere, or smuggle my tight little ass into Canada. Because I know how much I don't know about blood magic so I do know I don't know how to make handing off a bag of my blood safe enough to take you up on your offer Scholar. So thanks, but no thanks. How bout you, innawoods? What's your price? Pretty sure Shark would lemmie sip just for the halibut.>>94680706I'm a walking talking red HEAD, asshole. Though, since I was coincidentally embraced on waxing day, I guess I'm not technically a fire crotch. And my head is unfucked. For starters, Dominate takes some verbal commands. Which Horseman can't give. Talk shit about him again and I'll track you down and hate peg you. And I won't hold back on the potence. My Sire has done nothing untoward with me or my mind.
>>94681028He's talking about Presence, but Presence would have run out by now
HEY, I STILL GOT SOME SCARS ON MY BODY BUT WHEN I CUT MYSELF NOW I JUST HEAL IT RIGHT AWAY. IF I CUT ALL THE LIMBS OFF OF A DUDE AND THEN TURNED HIM WOULD HE JUST BE A LIVING FUCKING TURD FOR HIS ENTIRE AFTERLIFE???HAHAHA WHAT A WAY TO FUCK WITH SOMEONE.
>>94681028>not a fire crotchI will never understand modern man’s disdain for pubes. Also, hate pegging sounds like it’d be an exilable crime>for the one who gets pegged>>94681955dunno. I’m not arthritic nor psoriatic like I was in life, but I still have childhood scars. The embrace doesn’t heal all things I suppose. Experimentation seems in need here. Gonna have to set up a VIP lounge for kindred and their retinues. Also a “members only” time so all of us can go without masquerade violations. I’ll have a ring in both areas so kindred and kine can fight for free drinks for the night. It’s all coming together.
>>94680129Having a few loyal strippers are a vampires greatest asset My main income currently is divorce settlements and alimony Currently own five homes, two businesses, a trailer park and make six figures a week
>>94682222Behold, the vampiric middle class
>>94682112I will never understand why guys make movies just so they can say "It's a period piece!" to justify getting some chick to flash pit hair instead of just admitting that's their fetish like Tarantino and feet. For God's sake, you ever seen Jude? They made Kate Winslet(the titanic chick) grow out her pit hair and go full nude fucking Christopher Eccleston (leather jacket Doctor Who/bad guy from Thor:Dark World) in that movie. But seriously I went with it once I started dancing. A lot of places you can't do full nude in a club that serves alcohol, so instead you get some teeny weeny bikini bottoms and at that point it's like "I'm already taking of 90% of it, might as well go all the way," Them there's the fact a fair number of people who go out for roast beef or tube steak would rather not floss simultaneously.
>>94682287Yeah that’s weird when that happens. I just remember when Nena (99 luftballons) was a thing and Americans threw a fit because she dared to have armpit hair in the 80’s. Not in a sexual way either, just it’s not a big deal in Europe. I blame the Romans AND the Egyptians for all of this. Understandable about flossing, when it gets in the back of the throat, that’s a nuisance. Trimming is a nice compromise though.
>>94681105You can use Presence more than once. It's subtle too so a noob won't know the difference between presence and genuine adoration. Some vamps use it so frequently it might as well be always on. Hell if you "presence bomb" someone often enough it'll make them obsessed with you and the worship will continue even when you aren't present to use it. And that's just the basics. Some advanced powers can last for years. The shovelhead here is a textbook presence thrall to her sire.
>>94681028I'm tempted to take you up on that offer, but I think it might be more important to point out that you'd go after somebody for your sire when I don't think he'd do the same for you.>No, he-NO, he sent YOU out to turn a blood bank into a blood bath. He dragged YOU a thousand miles in a box on a boat. He's bringing YOU to kill guys for him while he eats them.Remember when you threatened Blue? And then nothing happened? I mean, not nothing, but your sasquatch sire certainly didn't roll in to rip her apart. He didn't even sent any of his shovelheads to try and get her. Some totally different guy shot at a totally different person who happened to be in the same hotel as her. And yet YOU'RE threatening to protect HIS honor through sexual violence, regardless of the distance and the danger. You gotta think about it, lady!
>>94683205>>94681028I'm going to have to side with the anon on this one, seems like your sire has you dominated through presence or other means, most likely you're just a shovelhead to him, it may hurt but that kind of situation happens often.
>>94680059Yes? The eastern dragons >>94679275 mentioned are less critter, more force of nature given material form, capable of shaping the land and drinking entire seas dry, only to piss it out to prevent a famine and grant the local magistrate relief from his gout or what have you.As for spirits, gods, and magic being more common place, that's because the skein of reality has become thicker, more encompassing, and more unified. Evidently, belief makes reality, and the belief in cold hard logic is why dragons aren't roaming the country side, or court wizards divining the future out of goat guts.>>94682399Greeks, not Romans, are to blame for baby's bottom smooth beauty standards. Romans were all about the beard, until they started taking Greek slaves and learned the wonder of tweezers. The modern beauty standard is because rich cunts in charge of the beauty industry think everyone wants to fuck children like them.
How’s the weekend going gents and ladies? I got attacked by a ghoulodile of particular stubborness, as animalism wasn’t working on him. Anyways, one lightning bolt later, I’m gonna have SEVERAL nice pairs of shoes and a bag or. Anyone want ghoulodile leather?

Do you feel it lick, the hoarfrost rising on the back of your neck? The mad dreams of sugar plums forming in your throat. The beast with the glowing nose howling in your heart? Well you are in the right place honoured Kindred, for today we are here for another instalment of my and your own favourete. Be prepared for the stunning exploits of the Damned, the Inquisitive DETECTIVE MALKAVIAN, brought to you on the Malkavian Madness Network to you by our friends in Fae realms with absolutely no strings attached. Detective Malkavian looked up. He was tied to a sacrificial stone, and not the fun kind. These were circa 4000BC and his beast howled at the potent blood sorcery that still echoed in them. He could see others. Four other stones, five total. he was tied securely with ropes woven of hawthorn that dug into his flesh greedily if he struggled. He could see the yellow flash on the other side. And past him he could see Steve. That Steve. In sacrificial robes of white tied the same as the rest. "Why" i asked when the Setite said something. Her English was English accented with a tinge of English, with an undertone of London and the Cambridgeshire accent. Visually she was stunning, the kind of body that drew one to sin, a light skinned Egyptian copper that you might describe as between Turkish Rosewater and Evening Vanilla. Her features were not graecian at all, slim waist, big hips, round titties. A mutt, no doubt but a beautiful one.
>>94687293by revolution you mean the Revolt?>>94687326Because while I did help in the Revolt, fighting alongside others who sought to break the chains of the antediluvians, I left because I saw our leader diablerize the Lasombra antediluvian instead of destroying him, and I disagreed with that. That cursed 3rd gen should've been destroyed not diablerized, diablerie always has a chance of the soul living on and I didn't want to take the risk of potentially having that bastard alive. At first everything seemed fine, the sect was being built up, I was helping repair and rebuild. Then I learned that whole 'sword of caine and I fall where I please' bit that was being preached around, I brought my concerns to my leader and was threatened for it. I could not in good conscious join them, so I left. In doing so I broke the bond with my comrades in arms who stayed, I still can't forgive myself for hurting them but at least some of the good we did lives on, even if in only a path. And before any of you ask or assume, yes I was a soldier in the Revolt, no I will not talk about it anymore for right now. I need to numb the pain with the entirety of the nearby liquor store.
>>94687435"We shall summon our god and git vengeance upon those who have wronged us" she said resolutely as Steve struggled. staining his robe and hawthorn cord with his own vitae. "The ritual, the sacrifices were for the children not your Antediluvian. The beautiful dusky snakey woman only had to murmur something like "Togither' as the hawthorn wrapped around Balli Steve's mouth. I piped up, eager to talk to this cobra and perhaps earn myself a few more minutes before being sacrificed, "You mean together?" I asked and she drew her large brown eyes on me, studying me before continuing "yes I did this with Steve, Togither, to git the rituals, to gather the sacrifices, to git the resources needed. But he thought it was for his underworld children where as I know we would be begitting the return of our god." "Begetting, getting, to get", I said thru strained teeth as the accent bothered me and she hissed "Don't be a bigot" to which I hastily added "Bigit". And that's how me and steve ended up bound and gagged at the site of an ancient ritual, our mouths full of 3 inch line hawthorn spines. The ground and air was chill as they brought in another vampire, some fledging. Perhaps not even aware of what they were, the blush of life still hung to them so thickly. Our mistress of Ceremonies pawed her unceremoniously saying "Such a sin, she's still full of life's beauity as she tied her to the stone. I tried to say something but I could feel the spines growing in my mouth as the setite glared as I said "Fahh" and she commanded me to Forgit and I just shook my head. "Forgot" I mumbled although it sounded like something else as I bled from the mouth. Finally the last Sacrifice was brought in, A Brujah. I could feel him fighting before I could see him. He was a huge man, bigger in death no doubt with slabs and rippling lines of muscles like a dockworker. His big white beard bristled with fury as Runic Tattoos lit up and down his forearms.
>>94687443The fat one who dropped me was dropped but there were dozens, if not hundreds of setities. They would dogpile him, skewer him, stake him, tie him but never stop him. Mrs Priestess shoulded 'GIT HIM GIT HIM" as her underlings died to a perfect Brujah rage, but there were too many. I tried to cough "GOT GOT" but the hawthorns stopped me. Then on the Yuletide air, she did her foul magic. she cut and anointed and our blood, mixed. it did not congel, it ran hot , into a fount. More then any of us had any right to. We were not consuming the blood but the ritual still linked us somehow. The Setite cursed and screams and chanted "YOU ARE NOT FORGITTEN, COME SET COME SET RETURN AND BREATHE, WE HAVE GITTEN YOU THE RED OF BLOOD THE>GottenI coughed but the priestess didn't stop. Indeed she seemed smug as she continued, drawing more strength and blood from us. We could see in the dark of the night, just barely visible the college town I had started in. It was a shape of the night, clad in shadow but it was a very faint red outline. WE HAVE GITTEN YOU THE BLACK OF NIGHT and I could feel as if all the darkness was leaving my body and cladding this figure in it. The priestess continued, THE PINK OF YOUTH THE BLUE OF BETRAYAL THE YELLOW OF THUNDER as the huge form of the god Sutekh began to form, congeal out of something from all of us. I spat out the thorns after one last Heroic Effort as the priestess finished the chanting COME SETT SETT>And I laughing in Blood said "Sit"
>>94687454If you've never interrupted a Beautiful Priestess in the most important ritual of her unlife by correcting her how to say her gods name, I suggest you go out and try it. The story will wait. >THAT IS WHAT I SAID SET (I didn't say the story would wait long). Sit>SETSit>SET Set>SITAnd it was about then that the ground started rumbling. She cried and chanted but the colossal figure did not disappaite, no it disappaetted. A thundering form of Darkness and Color slammed down killing the priestess and whatever else there was left of the setites that Brujah Red hadn't killed already. The form looked at the not far off college town as the ritual stones, loosened from the impact from before allowed us all to stand. We could all still feel whatever it was. It was going to destroy the town and kill everything and then again and again and again. Red muttered "We have to stop it" as Koballi Blue Steve nodded saying "Only we can, we're still connected to it, we just have to believe . And that's when everyone looked at me. I knew what I had to do. The last of the blood left my body, I knew what we had to do. I could feel the ritual still empowering our blood as we started the call. >DETECTIVE MALKAVIAN NOIR POWER ACTEVATE!
>>94687459>DETECTIVE MALKAVIAN NOIR POWER ACTEVATE!I could sense it, the summoning from the earth, of great and primal creatures before any man or vampire. Pink started next>Ahh PINK POWER ACTIVATE!The yellow flash was now up, understanding his role innately. >YELLOW FLASH POWERS ACTIVATE!I looked expectantly at Steve but there was hesitation. I looked at him saying "Say it white power activate", "I'm not saying it" "Steve your dressed in white robes and there's a black guy sneaking around at night, it's the perfect power set." "goddamnit, Malkavian" "You mean Godamnet" which I offered helpfully before Balli Steve swung at me, breaking my nose before he finally did his role>BLUE POWER ACTIVATE! My disappointment was keen but we all looked to Red our Brujah friend. We needed a figure of power. I looked at his tattered and scorned clothing, his body covered in blood drying rusty red. We clasped hands and his runework burned againts my skin like embers as he said "Nice try on the HWete Power there" and thus I was enlightened.>RED FURY POWERS ACTIVATEThe blood that was pooled between us and the figure of Set, far more then even five vampires could have held, was split and I could see the blood forming around our Brujah friend. Until he was easily 100 feet tall. The four of us in his hands as he looked resplended in Red and White and Blue and Yellow and Pink armor. We transferred to his broad shoulders as he fought against Set until finally with one last push of our combined powers, we unleashed. >COMBI-MEGA-CAMMIRILLAH-BEAMVanquishing Set or whatever it was. We all went our separate ways after that but that's the story of how I, Detective Malkavian, got video taped on the shoulders of a 100 foot tall Mecha-Santa-Brujah on Christmas eve while fighting Ancient Gods, while getting 500 dollars per day plus deductables.

At the end of the night all this "kill antediluvians, kill elders, kill (this one particular clan)" shit boils down to two things. Fear and envy. You don't actually hate the Antediluvians. Or what they represent. You don't really care how likely or valid the prophecy of Gehenna is. Because even if it's fake, the Antediluvians are so much stronger than you that it scares you. Even the Methuselah are like gods to the children that make up the overwhelming majority of vamps. You could find an Antediluvian that was the kindest, most pure of all vampires, but because they are so old and their blood is so potent, most vamps would want them dead because their very existence is an existential threat to you. And even if one could be perfectly sure of this ancient's tranquility, most would still want it slain for the second reason. Your first few nights you think you're king of the world, all powerful. Then you realize that there are older, more powerful vampires. And so most of us take the easy way out and blame age, or generation, or whatever the fuck rather than contend with the ugly truth that really we're the same flawed, shitty people we were in life, just with a few extra powers and a few extra weaknesses. We lie to ourselves and say "Oh, well if I were 7th generation, I wouldn't squander it like the Prince does. I would be someone, I would define eras of Vampire history. Like Camila, The Dracon, Hardestadt, Goratrix, or Ur-Shulgi." But most of us aren't. And the ones of us who are don't waste their time grumbling about how unfair it is, or tell themselves lies about the evil of the elders, as if their own ultimate goal isn't to become those elders. Most of us were never meant to be more than a pawn, or an advisor, or a specialist if we're lucky. And that makes us angry and afraid. So we come up with these wonderful little lies. That we are apex predators, mighty lords of the night. And so the Sabbat doesn't get pissy, "A Monster I Am, Lest a Monster I Become."

>>94690888Because the sun burns you as a curse from god, who is omnipotent and omnipresent. It's not a rule you can lawyer your way out of. It is an all powerful force making you burn at its whim. There is no arguing with the divine's judgement. You cannot trick it. You cannot decieve it. It decides how the universe reacts to your every action and, if it feels you are attempting to subvert its will, it takes the time to fuck you up.

The followers of Set have a strong racial majority just because most of the populace are from a narrow band of north africa. This transmits across countries because most setites were ghouls. My ancestors were portugese who came across in the age of sail, but that's only because my sire was an upstart in a region where our cults had been almost entirely obliterated before his time.Followers of Set aren't even concerned about clan purity - we take converts. In exchange they would likely desire a boon or a small share of the profits. Your choice. Send a ghoul into the nearest metropolitan area and have them look for one of my kin, in as diplomatic a fashion as possible so as to not send the wrong message. If you are not able to find one of my kin, I could intercede and see what I can do, though I would be loathe to take the opportunity from a local member of my lineage, if one is present. >>94696611I took mine from a crypto-noddist Tremere that I caught spreading them like Gideon bibles. I handed her over to the Regent, no idea what became of her. I desperately wanted to see what all the hullabaloo regarding the Book of Nod was about. I found it... rather disappointing. It took me quite some time to find one with De Laurent's annotations, which largely confirmed my suspicions. The book is cobbled together from several dozen different sources and even the author acknowledges the dubiousness of several sections. Also, unrelated to the previous statements: I thought I had made it quite clear that the threat to my unlife was dealt with. Personally. I have been spending the last near-week on holiday and it is such a wonderful break from the couple month doldrums I have found myself in. My lack of communication reflects if anything a lack of interest.

>>94696611Not, you can totally just look it up, a lot of people are selling copies.
>>94696611I have it on good authority there's an elder of my Clan living in a monastery in eastern Europe with enough mastery of Celerity to churn out a copy every night. Illuminations and all.
>>94697720Alright. I sent Jimothy (ghoul) to town today and we gathered some info. Mostly brujahs in the bars and a toreador on the university campus here. Being in a princeless, baronless, bishopless city doesn’t help much though. We found a ghoul to a venture at the courthouse though. Upon a private conversation between themselves, he said his domitor reigns in the oldest city in all Texas, Nacogdoches. Fitting I say, it being the oldest settlement in all Texas, with natives having a village there 10000 years ago. Not my ancestors, but historically interesting. We head there tonight. Some nice trails there. I’m sure there’s a runner or two. Also a tavern with a NICE antique nude in it. It was last year when I went just for fun. Might stop by, stalk someone for a feeding or so.
>>94701029Doh, that’s supposed to be me. My mentors lessons do not go well. I seem not to be able to pick up this Way of Sorrows that well. May be because of my lack of slavic roots/culture, but it remains a mystery. We’ve doubled down on my elemental paths and developing one for the area. I’ve met the spirit of the land as a whole. Sometimes he appears as a plains native, othertimes a mix between Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston, and Chuck Norris, which is odd considering he’s from Oklahoma. I suppose people’s conscious and subconscious perceptions about Texas influences the gestalt spirit here. My way of the wind helps me out here, for the sky is eternally part of the land, the spirit tells me. It’s storms, rains, and winds are vital to our history. The bloodshed in the conflict between the europeans and the natives have fostered the spirits and things likened to us kindred for millennia. The first thing it taught me was how to see for miles around. Not disimilar to the way of the spirit I had dabbled with, but magnified with less clarity. Another time it told me about how during the Revolution, the battle at the Alamo left a permanent scar on the umbra there, which permeates throughout the land here. By channeling that scar, pulling the desperation and suffering of the anglos, and the merciless siege from the Mexicans, I can strengthen myself at a cost. That is all I’ve learned for now.
>>94696611You can find them at a few universities. I got mine from UMich (a medieval latin manuscript) as a photocopy from a microfilm. Most of these places consider these under the same category as obscure gnostic texts and other bizarre texts. >>94701029I assume you know the routine when entering a Camarilla domain? Good luck with your business.
>>94701087I’ve taken my sire and mentor along with me as my politics as a neonate are incredibly lacking and I don’t want to test fate like I did in the settite temple. I’ll leave it to them to present me before them as such and to request a favor or just pay to have this thing done. I assume your clan also accepts precious metals as payment?
>>94695854I think they call those colostomy bags.>>94694694Yes. He is. My sire is a big fan. He's literally the best and the worst of us. WHO ELSE could flagrantly violate the masquerade and still be kickin it vlad in the modern nights. He's somehow both a koldunic and vicissitude master WITH a super cool magic sword that absorbs vitae and gives it back to it's user. Some meatheads stole it a while back, but Dracula turned heaven and hell over to regain it. Apparently it can also kill demons permanently too. Also, what's an address to send your stuff to? I got the boots and bag made. I went with a size 6 miniskirt and crop-top. I vaguely remember you saying athletic built, so I hope it fits well.
>>94701174It depends on the Ventrue what exactly they will accept as payment. What you are asking for is a fairly simple request, if you do not want to play the favor for favor game of boons then something with material value will likely suffice, provided you have enough. Most Ventrue have enough passive income that money is not a primary concern, but more rarely hurts. If he is an elder he may even be nostalgic for precious metals. Even in the modern nights, they have a place in finance.

With father awake, we’ve been researching a remedy for my condition. Yet, whenever I prod about the nature of the entity, he turns rather avoidant. Tells me I wouldn’t be able to comprehend. He’s keeping something from me, a secret, a regret, I can sense it. The dreams have also become more vivid with his return. I’m fairly certain now that I’m witnessing memories of whatever has taken up residence in my mind. Sister dearest has always been a “proper” Fiend, but in the visions, father is more monstrous too. A crown of horns, scales upon his skin. Barely recognizable compared to his current almost mundane appearance. I’ve scoured the castle top to bottom again and came up empty-handed for the second time. If father won’t tell me, I have but one option left. I’m going to ask the source of my woes directly.
>>94705403That sounds unwise. You are still an incredibly young vampire and have only a rudimentary grasp on your skills as a koldun. And you know for a fact that you don't have the ability to resist the spirit if it decides it really wants to take you for a ride. Your sire's reticence on the subject may be warranted, perhaps you should further develop your skills before jumping in again.
Well, it's official now. Creation rites and my first Vaulderie with my new pack. I have no idea why cammies are so scared of it. We all got a bit relaxed, like we were a bit tipsy is all. Quick question for any elders here: Any of you know of anything that can turn a kindred into a block of ice that shatters upon contact?A group of shovelheads went in an abandoned factory and when I was sent to check on them when nothing happened all were dead in various positions. One looked to have been beaten to death by something big, another had his head ripped off, two more were impaled upon massive icicles and the final one was encased in ice but when touched shattered like glass. Each one had necrosis on their body like they got a bad case of frostbite. I'm tryin' to figure out what to tell my boss and I do not know what could've done this.
For more context, the entire inside looks like it got hit by a blizzard, some of the glass is covered with ice, honestly looked like frosty the snowman went apeshit in here.
>>94707548With ths addition of physical violence, I'd say you're dealing with an Abominable Snowman.
>>94707752My boss is probably gonna kill me if I tell him it was an Abominable Snowman. Any other possibilities?
>>94707923Might be a really pissed off ghost? They can do weird unnatural stuff, and an abandoned factory haunted by the restless dead is much more likely than some random ice witch just happening to have set up shop there.
>>94708036Could be, I just saw some tall motha-fucka standing on a building nearby watching me with a smile before vanishing.
>>94707548Hmm.Yes. Abominable Snowman.Or Sub-Zero, most likely Bi-Han, not Kuai Liang.Or maybe not Bi-Han Sub-Zero but Bi-Han Noob Saibot? As in, a ghost that had some ice or cold related life or unalivement. Our anonymous friend also suggested a ghost, and I don't know of many things in the night that dabble in such cold.If you want to know for sure, you’ll need to look deeper. Places like that leave traces—emotions, energy, and impressions. If you are incapable of psychometric reading, find someone who is, or try and give it a second look and focus on what doesn’t belong, and you might figure out what you’re dealing with. Just try and resist the allure of giving the Forbidden Popsicles a lick if the ice is still there when you return. For your boss, keep it simple: "Whatever did this isn’t something anyone wants to poke without serious backup. It’s strong, probably territorial, and not the kind of thing to mess with lightly. " That should keep them off your back for now. Might be a great opportunity to request someone with the aforementioned psychometric reading capacity if you don't have any boon you can call. Now, if you have no dispatched reinforcements... try and lure someone you really, really don't like to try and pee on the proverbial fence and find out for you through first-hand experience exactly how it is electrified. Solving one problem by smashing it with another problem is not necessarily always the most elegant of solutions but tends to be quite cost-efficient.
>>94694694>How do you judge what's impossibleYou go by the individual. People have long lived with the nascent belief that through god, anything is possible, at least in theory. You do not need to reject the possibility of miracles to reject the idea that something was miraculous and unexplainable. Most of the time you won't have an answer, so writing things off as impossible is usually silly. What you can have is the context of who said what, and either try to fit that into what you know or determine if it's probably something that you don't understand.>>94706556Congrats. And welcome to the religion business, heh.>I have no idea why cammies are so scared of it.The lived experience, probably ongoing, of a full strength blood bond. Happy new year, schrecknet!
>>94708301So, what, he was a human, went to portugal to die during the formation of the republic, was embraced there by a tzimisce - rather than any of the groups involved with brazil's government or the portugese royal family, - and it's "very famous" that he's a tzimisce despite the fact nobody has ever mentioned this, and then as a tzimisce neonate he went to successfully broker an alliance with the weird fucks underneath a camarilla city who remain in good standing with the prince?Sure, I believe you. Except, y'know, nobody on earth would believe he wouldn't return to his beloved country that he was tied to so intimately that even in your story his heartsoil lies here despite being embraced across the sea. What's more likely is that you met a tzimisce at least my age with a charming story and false identity who had to go to ground in the north and/or later overseas during some of the tumult around the turn of the century. Surely an interesting guy and probably well worth making the acquaintance, but you'll have to forgive the healthy skepticism of anybody who has ever actually met anybody who knew the imperial family.
>>94708538Hahahaha.Pedro, very famously, didn’t spend his exile in Portugal. He lived in France, where his family resided after their exile—this is a historical fact, not conjecture. He received a 'burial' rite in Paris, a ceremony fit for a king. Why doesn’t he return to Brazil? I asked once, and all he said was, ‘It’s complicated,’ before changing the subject. Out of respect—and a lack of interest—I let it go. These nights, he dedicates himself to his true calling: teaching and learning. That’s how we met, and, if you were ever lucky enough to sit across the table from him, you’d understand why he’s so captivating. Now, as for your theory about mistaken identity… Let’s address the irony of accusing me—someone without a name, lineage, or ties to speak of—of getting someone’s identity wrong. I don’t hold on to much, but I do retain faces and truths. The man I met was exactly who he claimed to be.But skepticism is healthy, right? Here’s the issue: skepticism works best when it’s informed.Assuming Pedro’s exile was in Portugal isn’t just a mistake; it’s ignorance of the basics. His family has always been in France during the exile, only returning to Brazil after 1920. His ties to Brazil remain as complex as its imperial history. For instance, the split between the Petrópolis and Vassouras branches could keep even an immortal busy, let alone the nuances of European dynastic recognition of each branch. If you’re going to debate someone’s identity, at least make sure you know who you’re talking about. Otherwise, all you’re doing is providing me with free entertainment.Happy new year, Snek.
>>94706556Welcome, Priest. As for why the breaking of the blood bonds scares the Camarilla; it represents a threat to the hierarchy and "order" of the Camarilla. Where before a particularly unruly flegling could be snatched up and blood bonded to a sufficiently orderly elder, now that fledglings fellows can break that bond. The fact that it's a practice by people who are actively trying to kill them at every corner probably doesn't help its rep. And that it's an invention/discovery of the Tzimisce. Don't get me wrong, I like Chelys, Hatch, Sarkourgos, Edge and all the boys; but their clan PR starts with Myca Vykos throwing hir penis at Hardstadt Jr. and never really improved. At least in the eyes of the Camarilla.

The prince of Nacogdoches said he'd be willing to have my business licenses puched through for just a few ounces of gold, and would have the police avoiding my area for a yearly payment of 10 1oz Gold US Eagles. A fair price we agreed on. He holds us with some suspicion though. As stated by Colma, >>94711054tzimisce are not exactly welcomed by the camarilla and the feeling is mutual due to the FILTHY tremere being so prevalent. Thankfully none were in court that night. Upon explanation of a fully neutral elysium, he seemed intrigued. Perhaps this could be a place of agreements to be made between all sects? I'll have to play a political game like a Caribbean nation in the cold war to come out of this unscathed. I informed him that there may be blood sports for free drinks too, and he laughed heartily at that. Said his sire used to go to the games in Rome. Said if we ever had any lions to feed christians to, he'd send him my way. We left without much else to say, sadly my favorite saloon has shut down seriously they shut down the saloon in Nac, and took the nude down. Can't have nothing nice in towns these days . On the way back, my sire noticed we were being tailed. Using auspex, we noticed three kindred in a Crown vic following us. My tutor recognized one of them as part of the sherrif's hounds. When they followed us back to our land, I had to politely establish that not only are they now violating the legal principle of private property, but also the second tradition. I further informed them that three tzimisce who have trespassers on their domain are wont to do unspeakable acts on fellow kindred who violate this tradition. They understood and were off. I feel this may have been some form of test. By the prince, or the Sheriff though? Anyways, tomorrow night will be opening night. We'll see how it all goes. I'll send a barrel of typhon's brew to the prince as a thank you gift.

>>94709936>Let’s address the irony of accusing me—someone without a name, lineage, or ties to speak of—of getting someone’s identity wrong. What irony? You reject having an identity, make no connection to identity, and fail to understand or recall or divine the name or identity of others. There's no irony, it's all surface level.>Assuming Pedro’s exile was in Portugal isn’t just a mistake; it’s ignorance of the basics. It's really not. He went to europe, that's the basics. The specifics of royal politics between some houses on continental europe don't change the fact that he died overseas longing for brazil. It really is as simple as that: if he was now undead, he would have come back here. Though you do the man a disservice to imply that he's a monster that robs others of their life and free will for his own comforts. Pedro was not the kind of grasping tyrant that would cling to a false life at the expense of others.>His ties to Brazil remain as complex as its imperial history. His ties were deep, not complex. Trying to act as if some split in european monarchies was in any way as relevant to him as his love for his fatherland is absurd to the highest degree. That you can come away so deluded is only further proof that you clearly never knew the emperor.

> > 94714877Hahahahahaha. I see you’ve traded insight for outrage! Not a particularly good bargain, if I do say so myself. Let’s unpack this, shall we? First, much like everything you’ve written so far, you are ignorant of the nature of what you’re discussing.I didn’t "reject" my identity—I traded it away. My name, my ties, my lineage, but not my memory. This detachment lets me see clearly, free from the biases of who I was. That’s where you and I differ. Now, the nature of Pedro II.Saying 'he went to Europe' to excuse your lack of knowledge is like claiming you’re a 'big deal in North America' when, in reality, you’re just popular with your friends in Seattle. France, specifically, holds significant importance. If you weren’t such a lazy charlatan, you’d know why. Pedro resented being emperor, often questioning why he didn’t abdicate and flee with Luísa Margarida, the woman he loved. He threatened abdication multiple times, most famously in 1850, and, when the monarchy fell, refused to resist or back a counter-coup to avoid civil war. He longed for peace, not power. To claim he’d rush back as an undead ruler ignores entirely the man he was in life. You call his ties 'deep, not complex,' but they were both. His love for Brazil was real, but it was shaped by alienation from his own subjects, the intricacies of his family’s legacy, and, ultimately, disillusionment, betrayal, and exile at the hands of his 'friends.' Ignoring this context doesn’t make you insightful—it makes you uninformed. And as for whether I knew him? I have! We spoke of philosophy and education—his true passions. He was far more than the caricature you’ve painted. You’ve not only never met him or anyone from the Imperial family, but also haven’t read much about them either. Clearly, doing some research wouldn’t hurt you—books don’t bite, Snek. Skepticism, without knowledge, is just noise. And while your screeching is amusing, next time, bring facts. They tend to last longer.
>>94691916but there has to be a way tho. what if a mage create ward spells that protects against the sun? or just further research to something like thinbloods and the dhampirs (idk if these exist) to create some way we can survive the sun.
>>94714877Your (you) is here: >>94716699>>94715040I’ve crossed paths with a few during my travels. Perhaps I could lend a hand?>>94715957Bullets? Really? I mean, even if they're silver, you're bringing a toothpick to a sword fight. Ditch the pea-shooter and arm yourself with a proper shotgun.Shotguns give you the flexibility to tailor your loads, which is vital when dealing with supernatural threats. Off-the-shelf ammunition follows mortal rules, bound by boring conventions like 'humane warfare.' But we’re Kindred. The Geneva Convention is more of a Geneva Suggestion for us.Custom shells let you design ammunition for whatever monstrous annoyance you’re dealing with. I'm talking explosive payloads, needle-packed rounds that shred and scatter into fragments, incendiary loads. You’re only limited by how nasty your imagination is—and maybe how good gunsmith is, too. Just remember to test your creations first; firing an untested experimental round can be more dangerous than coming in unnarmed when it’s you versus something with claws. If shotguns aren’t your thing, there are revolvers that can handle shot shells, like the S&W Governor or the Magnum Research BFR. If you insist on portability, there’s always the Taurus Judge, but that’s just a Brazilian-made revolver meant for dealing with the local pests, like snakes ;)
>>94678760Is there anything they don't?
>>94701948Certainly. You would be hard pressed to find a Ventrue that does not have some assets in precious metals or similar items of stable, universal value. But it has disadvantages as well, thus one only requires so much of it before one suffers diminishing returns. >>94714062If I may give you some final, parting advice? Attempting to cater to everyone is a path fraught with obstacles. I do not mean this as an insult, but you are hardly the first of us to dream of a truly neutral watering hole. How few of them there are is no fluke. If this Prince ever pays patronage, it will upset any Sabbat regulars, who may see your neutral ground as the perfect place to attack and slay an Elder. This is just one of an uncountable number of potential incidents. You will need a positively infectious charisma and more importantly, the strength to run off any troublemakers. The Jyhad is eternal and everywhere, as I have been well reminded of lately. While I wish you good fortune, temper your expectations. This may blow up in your face horribly. Try to survive, we need as many Kindred with a standard of decorum as possible. And yes, Colma is not wrong about perceptions of the Tzimisce. Before I came here, I had never met a Tzimisce worth wasting words on. They were all perverts and animals. >>94716877Shotguns are far too close range for Werewolves in my opinion. If I have to shoot one, I would prefer to do it from 100 meters away at least. Buckshot loses its effectiveness quite rapidly past 40 yards. High caliber rifle is my weapon of choice, nothing short of .308. I want to hit something vital, and I want to hit hard enough to kill the Lupine before it can do anything. If you need a concealable options, you could either buy one of those ludicrous hunting revolvers, or just put some silver bullets in a .45. Just understand that any pistol caliber is going to struggle against a Werewolf.
>>94716699>Let’s unpack this, shall we?*Urk* I think I just threw up in my mouth. Forgive me, Monsieur NULL, it isn't your fault but that phrase reminds me of the worst of the students I see on campus: the kind who only covet knowledge in order to arrogantly lord it over others.Surely you can already see the contradiction: that you are the only source regarding the Embrace of His Imperial Majesty, but you freely admit to having no name, no identity, no lineage; nothing that can verify the authenticity of your tale. To borrow a phrase from said students I interact with: your source is "trust me bro."You also criticize my colleague for not reading a proper history text (which your own story would make implicitly unreliable due to facts having been falsified) but your admittedly impressive knowledge of Pedro II's life does not provide any proof that His Imperial Majesty walks the night as one of the Kindred. All it shows is that you have studied the life of a mortal man.Honestly, skepticism without knowledge is just noise sounds like the sort of hollow catch phrase you would hear from a student who has taken a basic course on philosophy and now believes themselves to be an enlightened master.
>>94716699>To claim he’d rush back as an undead rulerThis is a claim entirely of your own delusion.I see that I was fruitlessly arguing with a lunatic. I'd apologize for taking the bait, but in this case it seems that you might have been unaware yourself.>>94716877>>94717121Man portable arms and rounds in such scant supply that they can be hand crafted are not the appropriate tools for dealing with the superhuman, be that the furred or the undead. Firearms have come a long way, and guns that can cut down trees with a hail of fire no longer need a crew, merely an emplaced location - which today can be atop a vehicle, such as a small truck adapted to the purpose. It's a fool's errand, anyhow. If you consider personal defense against a lupine, then any dangerous encounter is likely to begin at such proximity where any kind of firearm is unwieldy at best, and a blade appropriate to the task will serve you better than a firestick that can be pushed aside without harm to the beast's claws. Above all else, as is always the case, fleeing is your best chance of surviving an unwanted encounter and if you can't outpace a wolf you are just as unlikely to strike it down.
>>94717431>use a sword against werewolves>made from the notoriously soft and heavy silverNobody take this guy's advice seriously. Ever. I doubt he's ever been in a fight, let alone one with a werewolf.
>>94717121Well, I don’t think there’s any range where a Werewolf trying to murder you isn’t Too Close.Regarding the effectiveness of buckshot, the reason I recommend Shot over Bullet is because you can customize the load in your shells. If you remember, I also emphatically recommend testing those experimental shells—one reason being to determine their effective range. In a proper 12 gauge shotgun, custom shells can be savage like nothing you've seen before. Now speaking of range, if you look up statistics for gunfights in urban environments, reports from the NYPD, LAPD, and other civilian sources show that the vast majority of encounters happen at close range—typically less than 30 yards. While there aren’t any statistics for Werewolf-on-Kindred violence, experience tells me that shapeshifting creatures like Werewolves almost always close the distance to strike with their claws. Many of them can even leap out of literal thin air to attack, so range is usually a fleeting luxury in those scenarios. As for a .45, I am assuming you mean .45 ACP here, being the most common .45 handgun round in the US—If you meant .45LC, however, I would like to apologize and acknowledge that those are a very different story. While I admire John Moses Browning as much as anyone that knows their Guns, a subsonic cartridge with such a low penetrative power like the .45 ACP might not be the best choice against a Werewolf. Sure, it’s a heavy bullet, but its famed “stopping power” won’t do much to stop a nearly three-meter-tall furry killing machine.Let's leave the “Two World Wars” talk to the Fudds ;)If you’re serious about anti-Werewolf defence and want to carry a Big Iron to protect yourself, consider a Smith & Wesson 500 or, if you’re feeling cheeky, a Magnum Research chambered in .45-70.Mind you, this whole conversation changes if we're talking about Hunting or Ambushing one yourself, but that was not the context of the conversation.
>>94717735>>94716877>>94717121I personally carry an ancestral nickel plated 1911 that carried my great x2 grandfather through WW1, my great grandfather through Normandy in WW2, my grandfather through the jungles of Vietnam, and my uncle in the GWOT. I’ve personally had it blessed while I was mortal and load my own rounds of +p ammunition using homemade nitrocellulose and silver amalgam bullets. I’ve blocked them at 1900fps, and I’m pretty certain this machine has a spirit of itself at this point. I’m fairly certain this gun could take down just about anything on this earth, and a few beyond. Each round is guided by my aim and led by my ancestors to their target.
>>94717735I can appreciate your position. Firstly I would preface that any long gun, shotgun or rifle is not going to be a good choice for on the spot werewolf defense simply on the grounds of accessibility. If it is your night to night carry, you probably won't be lugging around a longer gun on grounds of attracting attention and general unwieldiness. Which limits us to pistols, which in my opinion are not worth the silver unless you have the money to spend and want every possible layer of defense against a sudden lupine. I find those large hunting revolvers generally ludicrous but they may have a fringe use against lupines. What I am attempting to convey here is that if a Werewolf has the drop on you, and the means to close the distance in an instant, what gun you have is a very, very tertiary concern. At that point you need to rely on your disciplines to escape or turn the tables. If you know that there are werewolves after you to the point of preparing special shotgun shells however, long guns come back into the equation. And in this case I think distance is an important factor. Hunting the beasts and self defense become one in the same if you survive the initial encounter. If you remain static, you are easy prey for such creatures. This may sound trite, but the weapon most effective against a lupine, or anything depends on the circumstances of the engagement. I prefer to dictate the circumstances of the engagement, and if a werewolf closes the distance on me, I have the right discipline to send it scampering back to a distance. I actually used this method to defend myself against a lupine attacker. So many Kindred think in terms of disciplines or weapons, but when one uses the mundane and the supernatural in concert, that is the path to true power. Can we agree that if Chelys is the unlucky one who is about to suffer a Lupine attack, that he probably should invest in more than a few silver bullets in his nightly carry?
>>94717335Hahahaha. Ah, the familiar sight of someone mistaking verbosity for wit. Allow me to clarify a few things while entertaining the thread before returning to more engaging discussions. First, questioning my credibility based on lineage is ironic, given the nature of our world. Lineage is one of the Kindred’s favourite crutches—a useful shorthand, yes, but hardly the measure of one's worth. My lack of a Clan isn’t a flaw; it’s a freedom. A freedom I chose, not one forced upon me. I once had a Clan, lineage, and sect, but I traded them away. I’ve no interest in nepotism or the petty squabbles of politics. You either recognize individual merit, or you don’t—and if you don’t, that’s your problem, not mine. Second, my critique of your "colleague" wasn’t about falsified facts; it was about a lack of effort. A good historian knows how to sift through bias to uncover deeper truths. Unfortunately, your argument—like this message—lacks that discipline. I would also like to point out the irony of questioning my credibility while completely ignoring your colleagues' numerous historical blunders. As for proof, you again misunderstand the nature of our existence. I don’t know who Embraced you, but let me do what your Sire apparently didn’t: educate you on the First Tradition. Kindred don’t leave tidy records for mortals to stumble upon. Most of what we know is anecdotal, unverified, or lost to time. If you’re looking for notarized documents or academic citations, try the university library—not Southern France. But if you want answers, go there and find the man yourself. Lastly, 'skepticism without knowledge is just noise' isn’t a catchphrase; it’s reality. And judging by the volume of your response, it seems to have struck a nerve. But don’t worry. If Philosophy 101 students can grow out of it, perhaps you will, too.Did you forget to add in your handle, or are you posting anonymously? Honest question.
>>94717918I do love 1911s. Some people say they don't fit well in smaller hands but I have never had any complaints with mine. The trigger is wonderful, they have a simple yet elegant aesthetic, and the bullet itself has never given me issues with what I intend to use it against. It is not my primary weapon by any means, but it is an important tool nonetheless.Still, you may need something more than even an enchanted pistol if lupines are on the table.
>>94717978>>94717918I was just thinking, if I KNOW I’m going to be against a lupine, I’d carry explosive rounds by drilling a hollow point out a bit more and filling that cavity with an explosive primer made with fulminating gold, silver fulminate, and mercury fulminate. I’m certain the combinatiom of quicksilver and silver would likely cause them appreciable damage. If these garou are honorable, I will face them as such. He who is afraid to die shall not live, but he who embraces death shall surely live.
>>94717431Hahahahahaha.There it is—the familiar retreat of someone who’s realized they’ve lost the argument. No need to apologize for taking the bait, my dear Setite—you yourself were Delicious Bait, and I devoured you wholeheartedly.Your indignation, misguided as it was, has been thoroughly entertaining. For that, I thank you. Now, I am sure you’ll find a more accommodating audience elsewhere. Perhaps in the mirror? They tend to agree with everything you say.
>>94717934Oh I agree with almost everything you said there to a Tee, to the point that pointing out points of disagreement would be pedantic nitpicking over the circumstance of particular scenarios. Points points points—you get points in my book for that :PI also do agree that if Chelys—or any one of us, for that matter—is being Hunted by a Werewolf, he does need as many silver rounds as he can. I would also add that he could use with a Body Double. Being of the Tzimisce Clan, I think he might just have the means to produce one himself, or Knows A Guy that can provide him with one. Using yourself as Bait is never safe, but if the You is not You, that changes things quite a bit.>>94717918Ooh, heirloom weapons are Hawt, Hawt, Hawt! Does it have a Name? All cool swords have a name. Ironic, considering I don't have a name myself, but I'm no sword. Or gun.Now. I do love the 1911 for its historical value and as a very functional weapon for self-defence against most individuals Mortal-sized, but I wouldn't use a normal one against a Werewolf—bailing the fuck out might be a better strategy there, if it's your only means of self-defence. Personally, however, if we're sticking to JMB's brainchildren, I'd prefer the Browing Hi Power over the 1911 specifically because of the higher capacity and improved penetrative power of the 9mm cartridge. But that's a matter of taste and what you’re expecting to deal with, as LBB said. And, of course, I am talking about your regular, run-of-the-mill 1911s, not a Special Piece like yours. In the end, what matters are the results in practice, not what they look like on paper, right?>>94718067If you feel you can build something like that, well, build'em, test'em, and share the results here! I for one, would love to see the results. Do post the results from a regular 1911 as well as your Special Piece if you can—the rest of /schreck/ will hardly be able to replicate the results from your Special Piece :P
>>94717958> Ah, the familiar sight of someone mistaking verbosity for wit.Wow. Irony.>>94718067I was thinking about that while reading through the thread. They used to make these things called Glazzer safety slugs. They were hollow points with thin seals holding a bunch of fine pellets, and I can tell you, after seeing what they'll do to a block of ballistic gel I wouldn't want to get hit by one of those even as a vamp. You mag dump a bunch of those into a werewolf and I bet even money you'll hurt it badly enough to get away from it. But I'm also equally sure that unless you've picked the time and place for the fight, or you're an elder whose spent the last two hundred years becoming as deadly as possible, you win a fight with a werewolf by running away. At least, that's what the Choir tells me. This might be the one and only time I say use the time honored Ventrue fighting technique of hiring someone else to do it for you. Like a crack team of ghoul commandos. Or that one redneck Revenant bloodline.>>94718072Like a pigeon with a chessboard.
>>94714877> It really is as simple as that: if he was now undead, he would have come back here.Speaking as someone who unlives in the town he grew up in, it can be pretty rough and I wouldn't fault this Pedro any reluctance to return and carry on feeding on former friends, neighbors and countrymen.Especially if this is the bit of Brazil that has the giant Jesus statue.

And judging by the volume of your response, it seems to have struck a nerve. As I said, it's an empty phrase devoid of any true value. Exactly the sort of thing a Philosophy 101 student would come up with. The very philosophy of skepticism theorises that some knowledge is impossible after all. >>94718349Hahahahaha.Thank you for letting me know that dismantling your charlatan friend’s nonsense hit close to home; Two-for-the-price-of-one deals are my favourite. You really made my day now, Shovelhead.
>>94718067>He who is afraid to die shall not live, but he who embraces death shall surely live.Oh, has you sire started teaching you necromancy now? You're starting to sound like a Giovanni there.Jokes aside, getting explosive bullets is well and good, but I wouldn't be assuming wolves are gonna play fair. That's the mentality of schmucks. If they're anything like actual wolves, always expect them to come in packs and only attack from angles you can't hit them from.
>>94718565Hey my wandering friend! No that was more an adaptation of a bushidi quote a mortal friend of mine told me when I still lived. It fits in with my idiosyncratic fatalism. From the time we are born, death, and thus final death in our case, is written in stone and cannot be changed. We kindred have just delayed it by a few centuries or millenia. When it is our time to go, so shall it be. Our bodies will return to sister mother earth, and sister death shall take us, as St. Francis said on his deathbed.
>>94717535I don't think I ever said anything about silver? Some ensorcelled blades are silver, of course, not least of all the ones carried by werewolves for killing werewolves. >>94718482Ah, I see now—you weren’t just another anonymous troll. My apologies for the assumption; your lack of a handle gave me the wrong impression. It’s good to see you’re engaging in good faith, even if our views differ. The sudden shift in tone on this message in regards to the previous one is on the account of that, okie dockie? Again, sorry for being a little overly mean before. My character is a bit of an asshole, as befit a Cainite, but its player tries—and fails, sometimes—not to be one. I suppose it is counterintuitive to our nature as Kindred to remain intimate with the proper usage of the utensils of Mortals like pots and kettles but I assure you that is neither the type of utensil nor the size of it that matters, but What It Is Cooking ;) What is intimate to our very nature, however, is dealing with the unknown. The origins of our kind, the mysteries of our world—these are debates spanning millennia, unresolved yet ever-present. Trusting the unknown isn't always a choice; it’s often a necessity. In our world, where Sires betray their Children and vice-versa, loyalty is rare, trust is a gamble, and stems not from lineage or credentials but from the value offered. If my words intrigue or challenge you, isn't that value enough to engage? And even the most meticulously kept records reflect the biases of their keepers. Temples may claim thousands of years of history, but history is rarely objective, no matter how it's preserved. The gaps and omissions often conceal the greatest truths, akin to how the vast majority of the gold is still buried deep in uncharted ground, not as treasure waiting to be found with a map.Skepticism is a vital philosophy, but it's also a tool. Knowledge may sometimes seem impossible, but that doesn't negate the value of seeking it. All gold was inaccessible at some point—until someone dared to dig. The question is: do you have the courage to uncover it, or will you dismiss it as unreachable?
>>94713719>If a mythological figure gets popular enough, they sort of just pop into existence on the other side of the mirrorYo, what happens if I get enough people to believe a story about an unstoppable flying karate master that kills Tremere?
>>94718989Guess that's where you and I will have to disagree, mr. dragon. If you've cheated death once before by becoming kindred, there's no reason you can't keep doing it, so long as you're smart and careful. As far as I'm concerned, fatalism is just another way others want you to think so they can make you fight their battles, that your choices don't matter. My clanmates tried to force their choice for my destiny onto me, and the only reason I'm not dead like them is because I rejected that destiny and went my own way.But in the end, your choice is your own as well. If you believe in what you're doing, I'm in no place to judge. Just saying you always have options. If a demon is going to rise from the earth to swallow your clan, you need to be there with them.
>>94719445*need not be thereHow sloppy of me.
>>94719306That sure is a lot of words to say absolutely nothing
Christ, Nameless. You are to writing what the Nos are to looks. Cain pimp slapped them with the ugly stick, the Hell's your excuse for being a toxic little sludgespawn? It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't argue exactly like every low tier Twitter troll ever. It's just...boring.You're not a grade school bully. You're a fuck mothering Cainite.ACT LIKE IT.
It's a new year, and the revelation of what went on with Red Regent was a delight to discover while catching up a bit on the happenings here. This new year was not entirely joyous, though. I encountered a lasombra ripping a kine's head off while feeding this new year's eve, and while I was able to subdue him, the interrogation by my coterie has revealed that he was scoping out the town for the rest of his pack. Assuming they come looking for him, this promises to be an eventful January. In somewhat related news, the screams of a Lasombra burning in the sunlight are significantly more tortured and fearful than those of other sabbat.
>>94719433I will personally pay you your weight in gold if that happens. This has to mysteriously sound from the aether when he appears though. https://youtu.be/bmfudW7rbG0>>94719445I’d say your philosophy befits you my friend. Mine is perhaps ingrained in my due to my ancestry. I remember as a child, no more than seven, seeing my great grandfather staring down a tornado on his front porch. My mother came to get me to come take shelter, and offered to take him as well. He refused and simply said if it’s his time to die, then it shall be. I have cheated death once, I suppose by property of being kindred. But I did not run from it. Even when I knew what my sire was, I did not fear it. I simply understood it. As far as the demons go, I’ve started looking into how my clans founders chained them. Something about a well, my tutor eventually told me. He says I am far too young to learn it though. As willful as I am, I am still far too enthusiastic about learning to be easily tempted by demons for more knowledge. Perhaps in a decade or so he told me. Also if they only really attack in packs from surprise, they are cowards as the Roman would say. >>94719290Well fuck if that’s the case. Any proven remedies on your end? >>94719496I can see now why you were made priest. I applaud you.
>>94719496Your thirst trap attention whore, repeats textbook sabbat rhetoric ass has no right criticizing anyone for how they carry themself on the internet. His post style is basically identical to Anat's, who you meat ride because he gives you validation. The cherrypicking, bad faith dipshit is getting a taste of his own medicine. Big whoop. People like you and him are why we don't get many quality posts anymore.
>>94719496Hahahahahahahahaha.No, seriously, hahahahahahhaahhahaha.Since you know so well how Cainites are supposed to behave, when are (you) gonna start acting like one, then? If I'm the gradeschool bully, who are you then, the alcoholic teacher that is the butt of the jokes of the entire class, and can't teach for shit? Here's a hint: maybe follow some of your own advice, Shovelhead.Drama! Conflict! Angst! It's just missing the hanky panky now.>>94719480I don't remember anyone talking to you or asking your opinion, Anon.
>>94719716Yeah, I figured this would be good practice for when I have to put on the habit and slap my packmates palms with the ruler. :)
>>94719716Indeed, a bound demon must be far more valuable than one that's free to trick you. What your clan founders did was truly something extraordinary. Binding a spirit of such power to the very earth, it was unprecedented at the time. Shame you're too far away to have seen its results yourself.>Also if they only really attack in packs from surprise, they are cowards as the Roman would say. Sometimes bravery lies in laying low until the storm passes, rather dying a fool's death.
>>94719290I've been wanting to come out of lurking for a while now, but couldn't really think of a good way. Sorry if it feels like I'm butting into your turf.>>94719306It's all good. Vampires do get set in their ways and beliefs after all. I miss being able to play my Setite character and figured this might be a good outlet. Rat was just an excuse to post the sketch I did of my buddy's character and drop a few bits about the other characters and Chronicles I've played in.>Skepticism is a vital philosophy, but it's also a tool. That was the core of my umbrage with your phrase. Skepticism IS a tool on the path of acquiring actual wisdom. None of us began life (or unlife for that matter) with ingrained knowledge. But the phrase implies that if you express doubt in a claim of knowledge without somehow also possessing knowledge regarding the claim, then you are a fool who is just making noise. I feel as though the phrase confuses skepticism with dismissiveness. Skepticism is not disbelief, it is the suspension of belief until the facts can be ascertained and a position can be made.>Knowledge may sometimes seem impossible, but that doesn't negate the value of seeking it.On that at least we agree. Striving for the impossible does not mean toiling in vain.

>>94720059>But the phrase implies that if you express doubt in a claim of knowledge without somehow also possessing knowledge regarding the claim, then you are a fool who is just making noise. The phrase was gonna be "skepticism *works best* when bla bla bla" but I ran out of space in the first message, and sacrifices had to be made. I didn't think anyone would care for that specific sentence in particular and felt it was decent enough in conveying what I meant, so I didn't bother with expanding on it before.I hope what I meant is clearer for you now.I didn't follow /schreck/ before, and only started commenting a few days ago. I have no idea what your previous character was.
>>94719716We've had a similar experience with Tornadoes. My childhood hometown was half leveled by a tornado, so after rebuilding the city planted trees everywhere. One year a tornado touches down heads for us. It hits a single story warehouse that used to be the icehouse before ice became a DIY project. It was low enough and steep enough that the tornado rode the roof up, got launched into the sky, and because of all the trees, couldn't touch down again. Oh yeah, you could see the old icehouse from the front porch of our home.So ths tornado goes right over our neighborhood. They really do sound like trains, btw. I was terrified thinking the house was going to be smashed and bury me and my family and crush us all I threw up. I still remember when they called the all clear over the radio. The whole neighborhood came slowly out their front doors, looking around, expecting devastation. But no. A strip of our neighbors siding was in our yard, but that was it. The night was so bright, so clear, so...clean. I can't really describe it.But the next time the sirens blew, I was on the front porch with my dad anf grandpa while mom and grandma were down in thr basement. Grandpa gave me swig of his beer. Frankly, I don't think I'll ever go back there. If his ghost is hanging around I don't want him to see me like this.
>>94720064What do you mean? I don't know what you're talking about.Should I be more obvious about it?
Ghouls don't need sunlight, right? I mean to stay completely healthy, for one you're keeping and want to groom into a potential childe or just keep around as your secretary in perpetuity? For her own safety I've asked her to stay confined to the building but I'm thinking I might move her completely into the basement.Does anyone actually want me to continue the storytiming shit I was writing earlier? When I was comparing how much I had written with had little of the storyboard I'd covered, I got the impression that it was more or less an uninteractive wall of spam.>>94719716>Any proven remedies on your end?Sure, but I don't think they'd be very accessible to you. Are you familiar with the thing anarchs call "teleportation"?>>94720059>Sorry if it feels like I'm butting into your turf.Dude no, I love it. Freewheeling made up debates about vampire philosophy are the best part. Having more midweights around so not every player has to pretend that don't know what something is great diversity too. I was feeling pretty insecure about being the oldest(?) of the highly active namefags when sarky was dead, as well.ANAT is more of an ecumenical wyrm cultist than a normal snek, anyway.
>>94720131Thank you.>>94721007 >ANAT is more of an ecumenical wyrm cultist. Fascinating. Didn't he get upset at the other setite that was a typhon wyrm type?
>>94721509Since you're here, do you know any kindred type that can create ice? Found an abandoned building filled with the mangled corpses of some local shovelheads and some were impaled vertically upon massive icicles, the windows covered in frost, large necrotic patches on parts of their body similar to really bad frostbite.
>>94721573>impalingMust be uncle Tepes up to his old habits again. Didn’t know he could make ice stakes. Gonna have to try that soon.
