Ippon is somewhat of a Schrödinger's cat right now. He was supposed to heroically die in the Night Parade's attack on Shiketsu, but then that didn't happen and it's not certain what happened to him. Some think he died somehow anyway. Some think he's alive and well, still teaching at Shiketsu. I ended up making a very close approssimation of this character with other templates and it actually fits, it's just missing the right flavour and implications so the whole plotline would have to change or get scrapped. I had an idea for a freshman build and a writefag with them, but my ideas just devolved into going far into someone else's gimmick while my build is just kind of there while it happens. Made me realize that my character concept isn't strong enough and that I should work on it more to make it more interesting to myself.

I.E. the clone summoning could start while she's being chased through a doorway, paused a few seconds to let her escape and for the villain to get to said doorway, and then the clone's summoning completes and she jumps out with the villain's own attack.
Btw, how old is/was Desolator?I kinda want Michelson to have a relationship with him. Not war buddies but "hey I know you" because I intend for his birthplace to be Phoenix, which happens to be relatively close to Tuscon where he pulled his big assassination plot in Podcast

Every time I tried to think of the summoning, it ended up dull. The only other ideas I have for him are for the finale of his story. I can't think of anything else besides them, and I don't think I'll write those either.Sorry for doing you dirty like that in a Grail War where teams are important. The best I can do is present those ideas I had and hope that maybe they'll at least serve as some form of inspiration for you.1. Liu just gets killed by some other team. Assassination or in battle, either works. Betrayal by Ying Yue under the guise of some peace talks invoking the familiarity was the most "plot" idea for that I could come up with.2. The grail gets corrupted somehow. DAAs, Baphomet, Raim, whatever. As the Ruler, Chen is here to fix shit like that, so he and Liu tried to prevent it. They get to the lesser grail, but the corruption is already in progress. Liu has an idea. Supported by Chen's power, he uses his EX circuits to also "infect" the grail and fight off the other corruption. The scale of the task is so great, that he has to use the entirety of his circuits, effectively dissolving himself into them and abandoning his physical body. The scientific/magi curiosity might be enough for him to undertake this feat, but it could also be the will to support Chen, or a personal grudge against whoever is corrupting the grail. It works, the corruption of the Grail is prevented, but Liu as a person is no more.3. Again, the idea is for Liu to dissolve himself into his circuits as they're sent to infect something, or in this case someone. Liu is fatally wounded and knows he won't survive, or he and Chen are facing near certain defeat. Liu decides to infect Chen, effectively turning him into a pseudo-servant by giving him his own circuits (and maybe a temporary buff).
