I freely concede I might just be retarded, but can anyone explain to me how the commands for getting a file in IRC work now? I tried just typing the commands in verbatim but nothing happens. TNW doesn't acknowledge the commands or start a transfer or anything. I tried prefacing the command with /ctcp tnw as well and that doesn't do it either. How do I actually do this? Am I just using a shit IRC client (pidgin)?
