>>
>>94787511
It's likely. It's a much loved model. It's hard to know if it would be mto or permanent and a special characters. Also unclear whether it comes back as metal or resin. Galrauch was meant to come back in metal, but he's still not been released.

I would really love it if the generic plastic talisman dragon came back for other factions and hopefully the full metal wood elf dragon comes back I really regret selling mine.

Also I would lover if we got emperor dragons and the fw or citadel big dragons get rereleased

Finished the map of Kronhavn!
>Established two centuries earlier by Dwarves of Clan Kettleforge hailing out of Zhufbar, their Clanfather had been on a diplomatic journey from Zhufbar to Talabheim, when trying to cross the Stir opposite Unterbaum with the help of Fishermen from the same town, the Clanfathers boat struck submerged rocks and sank, drowning the Dwarf and his companions. Grieved and Wroth at this terrible accident and the treachery of the grand River, the remaining Dwarves of the Group swore a Grudge against the Stir itself, which could only be satisfied by providing save passage across it's unpredictable waters exactly ninethousandninehundredandninetynine times. They had soon built a respectable ferry harbor and named it Kronhavn, Grudge Port in Khazalid, which not only offered a convenient crossing into Talabecland, but also a safe outpost west of Klam. The leader of Clan Kettleforge's local Grudge Settlers swore friendship and common cause with the Baron of Stirwacht at the time, an Alliance which still endures to this day, just as the steam ferry operated by the Clan still makes the journey across the river every now and then, when demand is high enough. While the small Dwarven Colony endures, only about 80 Dawi inhabit Kronhavn, whereas a far larger contingent of humans has settled around the original dwarven Ferry. With less than 600 permanent inhabitants, Kronhavn is nevertheless the closest thing to a proper town in the Barony of Stirwacht, and the rowdy "Short Stool Inn" is a respectable stop for Stir Barges looking for a night on solid ground. Furthermore the Barony Courthouse is also located in Kronhavn, owing to most legal disputes arising in the town. The Town does not have an organized Militia, but the loosely organized Stirwacht Free Company is based nominally in Kronhavn.

To savage army anon, I think the wolves of the sea army of infamy could be close to what you're after since it allows Beastmen, unless cavalry is too civilized for you. Failing that it's either allies or proxies, pick either Beastmen or Warriors and add the others as allies or counts-as. Consider swapping heads around to make beasty Marauders, Gors... or go 6th edition instead so you can freely take what you like as a Horde of Chaos.

My theory is that it has to do with game balance. Berserkers are already just better marauders because they're skirmishers and you can have as many of them as you want to have. If you shaved off the 1 point per model their light armour costs they would just completely replace regular marauders.

>>94790221
> Festus isnt ruling over half the northern empire.
Could have fooled me, it’s the only explanation as to why the empire is so fucked.
>>
>>94786943
other than the merwyrm I think that is too obvious to be correct, the same as people who thought dwarfs would get a slayer army. The units will be contrived around a narrative and probably won't even be based around kingdoms/units. It'll be something like 'elf colonial garrison' with 'gatewatchers' or some shit which is reavers with stubborn. I could even see some kind of intelligence army with shadow warriors and Teclis who are investigating Kul.
>>
>>94790312
Teclis isn't important at this point in the timeline so the High Elves are unlikely to get him back as a special character.
>>
>>94790333
I don't think any of the arcane journal heroes have been 'important' it's just what the new lore encourages and other than Teclis no elves at the time were very outward looking. They also can't be matched against dark elves so nothing in the Ulthuan or Naggaroth spheres will be touched upon, so it's pretty much elves in ports from Mairenburg to Laurelorn or Erengrad, or possibly the middle of who knows where in the southlands. A merwyrm suggests some kind of sea force and chaos are really the only antagonists to the elfs at sea. Put two and two together and Teclis makes some sense, we also haven't had a mega wizard character yet.
>>
>>94790221
>vlad
Rsurrected himself
>Gorbad
Orcs are built different
>Azhag

>Repanse

>>
>>94790369
>other than Teclis no elves at the time were very outward looking
Finubar is already Phoenix King at this point so he is already trying to project outward force in the Old World(going by the core rulebook or the FoF)
you also ignore all the Sea bases GW added to the map like Tor Anrok in the Badlands or Tor Martel off the coast of Mouilssion so I don't think GW need Teclis's character to try and justify the greater interventionist behaviour of the High Elves
>>
>>94790404
>tor anrok in the Badlands
we've already had two greenskin scenarios so it seems unlikely.
>tor martel off the coast of mousillon
had two bretonnian scenarios also
>>
>>94790459
my argument was more that Teclis doesn't needed to be added to TOW in this Arcane journel since we are still a ways off from the Battle of fineval plains(if GW dains to include the DE at some point) and his actions leading up to the great war against Chaos
GW is more likely just to make a new Sea Elf mage for their uses in some Sea Patrol or Seas Elf list
>>
Does anyone know what's going on with Black Market Miniatures?

Still thinking about how to do a proper "losses" system in a campaign without it getting too snowbally.

Ideally something like "every model/unit lost has a chance to stay dead" with some modifiers here and there maybe. But Im worried that this will make one bad loss a complete campaign/army ender, and make losing once essentially ensure a loss a 2nd time and im not sure how to resolve that.

Maybe add an option to retreat? Ending the battle early to preserve forces but conceding the current battle? But that could be abused by ranged factions, fire off a couple volleys and retreat before they get to you.
I was thinking giving smaller forces (due to losses) the ability to deploy 2nd and go first, but I dont know if thats really a big enough advantage to make the odds more or less even.
>>
>>94790844
Basically I guess the issue is that you want to have both a meaningful cost for losses/benefit for wins, since thats the point of a campaign. But you also dont want a lockout where jim wins game 1/2 vs brian and now brian may as well concede games 3-7 because hes infinitely far behind and cant win.

More specifically with the losses and possible retreat stuff, you want to have armies rewarded for winning enough to make suffering on through losses worth it/not just make "I fire one turn of shooting then conecede turn two" the meta, but also not force everyone to suicide themselves every time.
>>
>>94790844
Most campaign systems that have losses provide for the behind persons to win more if they do manage to pull off a victory against the odds
Something like their characters for being superior tacticians or can rally their forces become exceptionally stronger
>>
>>94790919
Sure, that could be useful. But does that stop one washout just ending the campaign?

For something more narrative/two player I can see that "working" in the sense that "well, if one player just absolutely rolls the other one match you essentially do a sudden death situation, and the next game is about tiny remnants trying to escape/hold off for as long as possible, GG" could be possible. But what if you have a bigger scale thing? Like 4-5 players? I dont know if that sort of sudden elimination stuff can work as well there.

Greatsword Captain is neat.
>>
>>94790844
I don't know what campaign rules you're using, but when I did a 40k campaign during 9th ed, we came up with the idea that losing players can requisition more units from their faction but they'd be basic, no-frills units to start.
But then, 9th's campaign had things where units would earn better WS/BS/other enhancements as they survived. So veteran units were definitely stronger, but we didn't want people to feel left out and gave them the ability to at least field the same number of units.
>>94790844
A retreat option is always good.
Ranged armies firing and fading, conceding battles to try to win the war would be frustrating to play against. But if the rewards for winning are your units gain more experience and get better while the retreating army gets les that's fine. As well as whatever overarching campaign benefits you can get for winning and seizing territory.
>>
>>94790997
interesting they shipping it with plastic Engineer as a double pack
I guess due to both of them having moulded 20mm bases?
>>
>>94791005
>I don't know what campaign rules you're using
None in particular. The closest would be that thing MWG did for their mini campaign. Which was a very basic "accurate losses" thing.

Iirc it was something like:
Losses are tracked on a per model basis.
After each game you roll for each destroyed unit and lost model. For a destroyed unit on a 5+ it comes back. For a lost model on a 4+ it comes back (or something to that effect), and then at the start of each game you could also reinforce your army with some requisitions. Basic troops were easier to reinforce than elite units.

>Ranged armies firing and fading, conceding battles to try to win the war would be frustrating to play against.
It would, and its certainly something in concerned about. But its also something I think is interesting and "realistic". Because yes, thats what some armies do, firing and fading away to wear the enemy down. Its just a case of finding a way for there to still be some loss to it, maybe artillery is too slow to always safely withdraw with (can hardly hit and run with a fucking cannon yea?) or as you say maybe the "loss" is in simply forfeiting whatever the reward of winning the battle is.
>>
>>94791058
Also, regarding reinforcements. I think having some armies/units be easier to reinforce would make sense.

Undead can probably replenish more after a win (raising the dead) but have a harder time replenishing after a loss (since they have to flee the battlefield).
Dark elves would probably get some sort of benefit for "captirves", so some sort of campaign currency or requisition benefit for enemy casualties after a win.
Wood elves would probably have a harder time reinforcing because theyre so elite, but have an easier time retreating because theyre sneaky skirmishers.

That sort of thing.
>>
>>94791058
>>Ranged armies firing and fading, conceding battles to try to win the war would be frustrating to play against.
>It would, and its certainly something in concerned about. But its also something I think is interesting and "realistic". Wood Elves seem exactly like the sort that would fire and fade. But it would be up to you to insure they get pushed up against the wall (metaphorically) and have some ground they can't bear to see overrun. Like a sacred grove they're protecting.
>>

Any unit that survived should also get a roll to simulate them getting run down after the battle.

>>
>>94791142
Maybe do something like keep track of how long a unit has left the battle for too, and the longer theyve escaped relative to the duration of the battle the easier it is for them to avoid being run down.

So something like:

>Retreat!
>At the start of your turn, before any actions or phases are taken, any units may choose to disengage and flee the field in a controlled manner.
>Any unit may disengage provided it is within 12" of the board edge of the players deployment zone or 6" of any other board edge and not engaged in close combat. Unbreakable or frenzied units (that have not lost frenzy) may not disengage, they are too brave or bloodthirsty to do such a thing.
>The unit is instantly removed from the battlefield, and counts as destroyed for the purposes of calculating victory points. However it will not cause any panic tests or yield any additional rewards post-battle unless caught.
>Place a marker next to the unit representing their making an escape.
>If a unit wishes to disengage while within 8" of an enemy unit it must take a leadership test as if it were attempting to march while close to an enemy. Units which do not test for march-block do not need to take the leadership test.
>At the start of every turn, add a counter to every unit that has disengaged
>if all remaining units disengage then the battle is immediately concluded at thee nd of the opponents next turn
>At the end of the battle, if the enemy has send pursuers roll for every unit on the disengage chart to see if they withdrew safely.
>>
>>94791282
And models in units without command could also have Ld checks to see if they are even motivated enough to return.
>>
>>94791282
>Disengage chart
1: Run down - the pursuers have caught the unit and it was run down. The unit is considered destroyed for the purposes of losses and will award full post-battle rewards
2-3: Harried - the pursuers have not managed to catch the unit, but have harassed it. All models must take a dangerous terrain test as if they fled through an enemy unit, with wounds suffered counting towards losses and post battle rewards.
4-6: Clean escape - the unit has successfully disengaged and takes no damage. It suffers no further damage for the purpose of losses or post battle rewards.

Artillery suffer -1 to the roll due to their ponderous and slow nature.
Light cavalry, skirmishers and open order infantry add +1 to the roll due to their greater mobility.
For every turn that a unit has spent after disengaging it adds +1 to the roll.

>get them!
An army may send pursuers after the enemy. To do this select a unit within 6" of the opponents table edge at the start of the turn and remove it from play.
If a fast cavalry unit is removed from play this way all enemy disengage rolls are done at a further -1 penalty.

If a unit is removed as a pursuer it awards no further victory points for the enemy provided the game ends in a victory or draw. if the game were instead a loss the unit provides FULL victory points, and is considered destroyed for the purposes of losses and post battle rewards.
>>
>>94791321
I feel like that disadvantages certain units somewhat unfairly. Some units just dont have command options.
>>
>>94791336
Although, speaking off. Having monsters "sustain" damage between games could be a decent idea. So if your giant took three wounds in one game, it starts the next game with three wounds down, or maybe heals a bit of that damage between games.
Same goes for dragons or whatever. Surviving on one wound means starting the next game with one wound left.

to be fair, they're not particularly more evil than any other random human empire with an expansionist mire
vampires are because they want to spread undeath, doom life as we know it and treat people like cattle and act like degenerate cancers in a society
chaos are also evil because they similarly spread unnatural mutagenic essences of devils and make sacrifices to said evil gods

I do wish kangs had something along that line, like harvesting people's flesh and bone for their preservation rites or something

>>94791917
>to be fair, they're not particularly more evil than any other random human empire with an expansionist mire
Yes, but at the same time a human empire which acts the way the nehekharans tomb kings did would be evil.

>vampires and chaos
Are evil because they want to conquer and pillage everyone, not because theyre undead or have tentacles. The norse would be exactly as evil with or without the magic. Vlad would be as evil if he was just a human usurper who declared himself emperor and tried to conquer the empire that way.

There are loads of them within the bounds of the Empire and Bretonnia as well, but they're so stealthy and well-hidden that they're believed to be a myth, as they only ever leave the swamps under cover of heavy fog. I 'member there was a short lore blurb about a newlywed bride being >"abducted" by them and the husband being hanged for her murder because nobody believed him.
Fimir are in a weird spot in terms of tabletop rules because they're supposed to be somewhere between an Orc and an Ogre in strength and size based on Warhammer Quest. I think proxying them as Ogres is the way to go, as they're described as easily being able to knock down a grown man with a single swipe of a tail and they move in small groups.

>In short, Bryan Ansell came in one day with a sketch of a Zoat, and wanted the creatures added to WFRP as a new race which "to be as distinctive of Warhammer as the Broo are of Runequest". We already had Warriors of Chaos and the recently-released Skaven, so we writers thought Warhammer and WFRP were pretty safe on that score, and to be honest we didn’t find the sketch too inspiring. By the way, I vaguely remember that Bryan put a note on the sketch giving the pronunciation as “Zow-at.” I don’t know if anyone else spotted that at the time, but we all pronounced the name to rhyme with “goat” and as far as I know everyone else has done the same ever since.
>Bryan was not discouraged by our lukewarm response to his idea. He told us that Zoats would have to go in, or we would have to come up with something else that satisfied the same requirements.

That's fair. I would've liked spears and bows too for some historical style armies, but I imagine they'd have upset the balance with chaos' niche too. Plus I guess you can use ungors for that. Same with allying them to dwarfs/empire/kislev, it doesn't work with the game rules since they're good guys, but you could just ask your opponent nicely.

The most significant exclusion for me is yhetees. Hopefully they get rolled in when Ogre Kingdoms are added to the game proper.

You'd be better off setting the game even further in the past so you can have elves and dwarfs near their peak, living nehekarans, more primitive Greenskins and Skaven, mare Slann and dragons awake, barbarians just coming into the empire and Bretonnia, and Tileans as the main old world humans

Say what you will about how the game plays, but I'm actually really enjoying how TOW portrays orcs. They could've gone with "war is all they think about and all they're capable of" as 40k is more and more becoming, but instead they gave them a bit more depth. Orcs still like war, but mostly because it's exciting and they're easily bored. They actually seem more believable as a society though, with the arcane journal explaining how orcs set up camp and make their machines, and the timeline describing them demanding tribute. It's neat to see them caring about money or things other than war, and also it makes more sense now how they can march for weeks or maintain a stronghold without the tribe imploding.
>>
what gets me about the end times is that quite literally nobody likes it aside from GW
it has ONE redeeming quality and thats "killed off fantasy instead of having it rot from the inside like 40k and letting it get ruined"

either people dont really know about the end times (because GW doesnt want you learning about older games and editions) or they do and hate it
TWW devs dislike endtimes
VT2 devs dislike endtimes (to the point of even just going "yeah it didnt happen" ingame)

yet whenever GW brings it up, they always go "it happened! it always happened! we need to confirm it happened!" because they need to validate age of sigmars existence

SoC was meant to be a new chapter for things but shit didnt go the way James Workshop expected and it resulted in a weird outcome. Instead of gw doubling down and following the new timeline they made, they just pretended it didnt happen.

Also, I am pretty sure the only people that cheered the end of fantasy was 40kfags and trolls that werent interested. I cant think of a single person that was pleased with the fact their favorite setting was dead along with their favorite wargame.

Also, though iirc unfounded, there are theories the end times wasnt supposed to always result in the end of the game/setting. People have pointed out for ages how well first gen sigmarines ranked up, so perhaps even the sculptors didnt know at first. Who knows though, the whole thing was a rushed mess.

My general is Alvis the All-Seeing, a mighty sorcerer lord bearing the mark of chaos undivided. In the modern era, he is an unparalleled master of the lore of fire, but when the gods send him back in time he uses the lore of battle magic. He has performed many deeds, some mighty, some craven, which have earned him several titles such as Gyrocopter's Bane and Cannonball Magnet. He hates dragons and his symbol is a single eye wreathed in flames. He has died many, many times, but he's been getting better at avoiding that recently.

Madz the Mushroom Muncher was not aware of the bedlam that would great him as his horde made its way across troll country. The march had started after the big red mushroom on his head told him he would find some really big things to eat if he travelled down to the middle mountains and you dont ignore a talking magic mustoom whens it growing out of you.

His cavcade was rapidly growing as more trolls and giants(including Gertrude a paticularly stony Hag) were swept up into the ambience of the marching hoard. Some nomadic orcs, a company of blackorcs and even some mad squigs and their night goblin handlers had fallen into step, eager to participate in any wanton destruction, or snag a free meal in the case of the larger squigs. Those that managed to not get eaten by the hungry trolls were swept to battle with much glee. Even an errant wyvern had started following the herd, and Madz used the poor beasty as a human might a horse. The horde had already swept aside the smattering of marauder and human patrols they'd walsed into, and most recently devoured a errantry crusade that had fled from a battle with ogres just in time to find madz and some of his biggest trolls waiting. Still the impending arrival of such a large assembly of ravenous beasties in the lands of the empire was sure to be an interesting few weeks.

Are vampires affected by holy images of any god or just Sigmar? I'm wondering if the von carsteins would've banned all the other gods worshipped in the empire too
>>
>>94795174
It's multiple gods but Sigmar was the one Nagash instilled because of his defeat and the retreat of the vampires. It's a curse so they never forget who they betrayed Nagash for.

Other Gods vampires are weak to include the likes of Shallya, Verena, Myrmidia and Morr, but if you want to go into other races, their weakness to the sun might be a curse from Ptra and Usirian also has antivampire protections.

For Dwarfs there's Gazul and for Lizards there's Potec and Topec. Elves weirdly have death gods but no protection against necromancy in their lore for Morai-Heg and Ereth Khial.

Chaos technically also protects the dead but that's another can of worms entirely

The models are very old and do not convey their powers, but Grail Knights in the lore are actually AoS Varanguard tier and make Stormcast holy robot looks like demon prince as far as corruption goes.
Not only incorruptible, but without fault.

Having a Grail Knight be faulty is Luke Skywalker throwing his father lightsaber like trash tier of character betrayal and writing.

There's more chances Archaon will open a charity shop selling churros in Cathay, Morathi opening a KFC in Ulthuan, Khorne himself asking his followers for onions milk instead of blood, and the skaven opening a Wendy's in Altdorf all 4 in the same day, than a grail knight being manipulated or turning bad in any way shape or form.

because the "order" gods, aside from the long forgotten law gods which are an embarrassment even to the guy who first wrote about them, are not really a cohesive pantheon like the chaos gods, you have the pantheon of classical gods, the pantheon of old gods, the pantheon of kislev gods, the pantheon of khemri, the elven pantheon and the pantheon of the old ones, they are all pretty much separate and isolated culturally, so for a champion of "order" to collect the blessings of all these disparate gods is pretty wild and goofy, at best you could get the blessings of one of those pantheons, but the majority of them are pretty much largely inactive or straight up dead

closest you get are lizardmen with the mark of (all) the old ones, which makes them an albino with destiny on their side
the phoenix king chosen of asuryan, which could be argued to embody the power of all elven gods by virtue of asuryan being the chief of the elven pantheon
and then you've got to go to age of sigmar before you find a new pantheon of active gods purposefully propping up champions, which they do in groups as soul bindings for convenient rpg purposes only

Here we go with El Don Bigote:
A minor estalian noble who due to reading too many novels about bretonnian chivalric quests, the harsh estalian sun and/or drinking too much shoddy (by tilean standards) estalian wine decided to embark on a knightly quest of his own.
After making a nuisance of himself in the countryside, he was told by the miller’s guild (who were one of the many he had bothered) that the lands of Tilea were full of adventure and damsels in need of rescue by a knight such as he. They provided him with an escort of pikemen (the so called “Agirre’s Devil’s) and pointed him where to go.
Once there, he was swiftly employed by one or another merchant and noble house, mainly to keep him from causing too much trouble with his “chivalric quest”. After a while of working for different employers, he finally set himself in the semi-permanent employ of Pavona, or more accurately; the employ of Lucrezzia Belladonna, Pavona’s ruler.
El Don Bigote believes that he’s found a damsel worthy of his heroic feats, a fact that the lady of the city has decided to use in her benefit. So, he and his company march to further Lucrezzia’s goals, though being a mercenary army, they do tend to embark on other lucrative enterprises from time to time.

I do plan to paint up two versions of him further down the line; one on horseback and one on a pegasus.

Also got to add judging by my track record on tabletop, may have to include something about his bad luck when it comes to lelves.

I'm also curious how that one anon handled him in the RPG game he had set in Averland/Wisseland involving a succesion crisis
>>
>>94792005
>>94797339
And because no DoW army can be fielded without its trusty paymaster, here we have Uccello "The Greedy" both on foot and on horseback

One of the men who keep El Don Bigotes quirkier tendencies in check, as well as serving as the company’s paymaster. Two things can be said about him; that he’s quite tight fisted when it comes to the money and that he’s as vain as a peacock.
Uccello claims that the feathers on his helmet belong to a gryphon, though they come from a species of giant, flightless bird that inhabits a small island to the east of the Southlands. No one is sures why they lack predators, some claiming that it’s due to the horrid taste of their flesh, while others insist it's due to some innate magical property. Whatever it may be, the feathers do seem to offer some sort of protection to the paymaster (which in game I tends to be a Talisman of Protection)

Aside from the overbearing spikes and shit, Delf armor is surprisingly "period accurate" with the Empire. Cuirass, fluted and fully articulated limb armor.

I don't think so, it's not like GW cared all that much for the Elector counts extended families, they killed all of Boris Todbringers off-page and I don't think any of Karl Frnaz's kids even get mentioned in the 6th-8th editions

Kind of. In the original Enemy Within:
She marries Boris Todbringer's illegitimate son, Heinrich who becomes Emperor in his own right. This didn't happen in the director's cut but there are references in a few 1e books (like Death's Dark Shadow and The WFRP Companion, I think) to Emperor Heinrich. So it was canon at some point.

There's no chance that GW would do a MTO run on the 5th ed chaos knight kit, right? The one that had metal parts for the arms, legs and horse heads and had you use the plastic chaos warriors bodies and helmets and regular plastic horses? I really want to have those models in my army, as they would make for fantastic chosen knights, but they're somewhat expensive on the second hand market, which is making me hesitate. Seeing as this particular kit was mixed plastic and metal, it's highly unlikely that a MTO run would be done, right?

That was always really the case though, and anyone trying to argue otherwise was bullshitting but the unclear wording meant some could get away with it. How would you feel about black orcs with copper or bronze armor instead of black/iron coloroed ?
>>
>>94798635
compared to Altdorf at least admittedly this might simply be due to the lack of WFRP books set in Nuln that go into detail about the cities history and culture rather than the writers thinking Nuln shouldn't have massive fires

>>
As a beastman player, would a giant or Gorgan be more worth it? Gorgan feels like it would be more in line with fluff, but the chaos giant kit looks so fun.
>>
>>94798836
I see no reason why you couldn't run a ghorgon as a giant, or vice versa, but if you think the chaos giant looks like a fun project you should get the giant. You'll also be able to use said giant across several editions, whereas the ghorgon only has rules in 8th and TOW, to my knowledge.
>>
>>94798822
I most confess my ignorance on this topic, but marrige between cousins seems to be a common theme in nobility at one point or another
>>
>>94798832
Gotta keep that Runefang in the family
>>
>>94798853
it was, Cousin marriages still happen today for a similar reason in some parts of the world which is to keep the Land and titles within the family rather than it being continuously split off into smaller and smaller holdings
>>
>>94798877
By the mid 1600s it was also almost impossible for european nobles not to marry a cousin since they were all quite related already to some degree.
>>
>>94798881
most nobles weren't marrying first or second cousins like the Hapsburgs though
>>
>>94798899
At that time the Habsburgs were literally at war with most other nobles in Europe.

>>
>>94798822
KF is pretty much a mix of Maximilian I and Charles (Karl) V, both Habsburgs.

Consider that according to the Hammer of Judgement's text, KF's (maternal) grandfather was 'Frederick the Bold', i.e. a mix of Frederick III and his political rival, Charles the Bold.

Although straight comparisons are foolish. I always got a bit of Habsburg from some depictions of Marius Leitdorf, for example.

>>
>>94799002
Do stakes through the heart even work with warhammer vampires? Cause if so going with a big cleavage into battle seems counter productive.

Then again, Lahmian vampires don't go charging directly into battle like other bloodlines, and they use magic/allure to deflect blows
>>
>>94799026
Its also counter productive, since Vampires dont really regenerate from physical injuries, so if she gets a tit sliced off by a Greatsword, it'll stay gone.
>>

I think its more so that Warhammer Vampires die when you stab something into their heart, and a Stake will do fine, but its mostly fuddlore.

On the upside, a wooden stake is expendable and you don't have to worry about hammering one into a questionable corpse that may or may not be a Vampire, and then leaving it in for re-burial.
>>
>>94799148
I wonder if a life wizard could make a tree grow out of the wooden stake; you have a vampire hunter/someone stake them through the heart, then the jade wizard make it into a tree rooted in a spot.

Life beating death (or undeath in this case) and all
>>
>>94799127
It's more entertaining to consider garlic completely irrelevant to kill or harm a warhammer vampire but still used by some hunters due to superstition
>>
>>94799173
>and then one day, decades down the line, the tree finally dies down and its first fruits after death are the spawn of the vampire's essence, immortal still and endlessly attempting to reform
