>>94810903WotC would rather add a card to the reserved list and ban it from all formats than reprint it in a reasonable timeframe.

What are some cards like Share the Spoils? I love it and have it in all of my red decks as a pet card. I don't think it's good, but it shakes up games and keeps things exciting.
>no no casual means that if I make a mistake at any point I can walk it back and you have to pretend you're playing with a toddler or ill get upset!!!!I hate this community so much
>>94811129>ForbidOne of these things is not like the others...
>>94811048The card is literally less than a year old. What's a "reasonable timeframe" to re print cards. You dramatic fucktard lmao
>>94811129I know this is just bait but imagining your greasy fingers typing it up amuses me. Oh yeah, also Underworld Breach.
>>94811215About 25 years according to WotC.
>>94811225I thought this was Reserve List, no joke.
>>94811129>forbid>bustedActually most of these cards aren't busted at all lmaoDockside interacted with enchantments as well which you are leaving out which is absolutely NOT reds job. It also doesn't punish people for having artifacts.... it rewards you for them having artifacts. Too low CMC, too abusable it was a very good ban. Funniest part is no decks actually needed it
>>94811135None of snails decks are good have you dver actually goldfished them? Or brought them to an LGS that isn't his carefully constructed pod? They get blown out lmao
>>94811225.... this is on the list
>>94811245What's The List? Sounds like something WotC discontinued.
>>94811254Whether or not it still has been reprinted :)
Thirty (30) starting life is objectively superior to fourty (40)
>>94811239>goldfishing some other dude's decksounds pretty gay
>>94811505Awwww did one of snails fans get upset I'm not jerking him off?
>>94811135post list
>>94811234Red is absolutely allowed to interact with the existence of enchantments. What it’s not allowed to do is remove them.
>>94811069It wasn't porn, but it was Deviantart shit.https://x.com/omgscarypet/status/1376180852070174725
>>94811636Red interacting with enchantments is sacrificing them. So uh no, red doesn't interact with enchantments. This and Infernal Phantom are the only red cards that somewhat positively interact with enchantments, and by positive I mean not just sacrifice them and forgeborn clearly cares about enchantment creatures realistically. Fuck sakes anon there are TWENTY EIGHT RED CARDS that even have the word enchantment on them. Out of 4300 red cards. No red does not do enchantments.
Dumb question, but is Inniaz considered Azorius commander if white mana is mentioned on abilities instead of mana value? Would this allow me to use white cards on the 99 deck?
>>94811672Correct
>>94811662?
>>94811662???
>>94811691Chaos Warp is acknowledged as a break, anon. Red can punish the presence of enchantments, but not remove them.
Best commander for this crad?
>>94811683>sacrificing enchantments Ill give you the one on the right though I missed that. Very cool we are up from 2/4300 to 3/4300. Up from 0.04% of red cards interact with enchantments in a meaningful way to 0.06!!!>>94811691Yes?
>>94811718>but not remove them.I posted a card that removes them.
>>94811662>forgeborn clearly cares about enchantment creatures realisticallyNot really, no. Nothing about the card specifies enchantment creatures, and red didn’t have much in the way of enchantment creature token creation in the format. It just benefits enchantments, full stop.
>>94811738>not really no>looks at journey into nyx >oh its a set full of enchantment creature cards
>>94811719Why is there an american civil war officer in the background?
>>94811752It also happens to be full of enchantments!
>>94811723There’s a significant difference between “sacrificing your own enchantments for benefits” and “forcing an opponent to either take damage or sacrifice an enchantment”. One of those is enchantment-matters, the other is enchantment punishment.
>>94811753That's Bo Levar, you cretin
>>94811752If it were only intended for enchantment creatures, it would say enchantment creatures. It was intended for enchantments in general.
>>94811767Sorry grandpa!
>>94811759>>94811775Correct now which archetype does red tend towards anon? Creature strategies or enchantment ones? I remember nyx draft pretty well and I can tell you that the red archetypes were creature filled >>94811761Fine anon you can have FOUR cards out of 4300 bringing us up to 0.07% of red cards meaningfully interacting with enchantments also meaning 99.93% of red cards do not. It is very safe to say that red does not interact with enchantments.Everything else aside just focus on the numbers. 0.07% of red cards meaningfully interacting with enchantments. Saying it's within reds part of the pie is dishonest.
>>94811799Hell, even if the entire fucking scryfall page for red cards that mention enchantments were counted thats STILL .65%, less than 1%. The colour does not do it full stop.
>>94811718>Chaos Warp is acknowledged as a break>Red causing random effects that can be positive or negative for either player is a break. Now I've heard it all.
Black doesn't kill artifacts, Red doesn't kill enchantments. Seems fair to me.
>mox opal costs as much as almost 3 crypts>it costs almost as much as crypt, vault, and chrome mox combined
>>94811834>Good card for free fast mana is expensive You don't say
>>94811830Black dont do enchantments either, 2 sorcercies and some ways to make someone sac permanents they can choose from dont really count
>>948118462 Sorceries? what about the new INSTANT?Yeah that's what I thought
>>94811828its literally considered a break for being able to target enchantments. That's basically it, the random bit doesnt matter.
>>94811855mono black enchantment-hate winter RIGHT NOW
>>94811846Black officially kills enchantments now. It is tertiary according to wotc.
>>94811834Sweet. I need to get my teshar deck back together.
>>94811842It's much worse than all of those cards. Well maybe not chrome mox, but I'm just surprised it's THAT expensive being only played in modern.
>>94811876>tesharYou're a cool guy anon. Teshar is fucking cracked.
>>94811799Tax-based counterspelling is considered part of white’s color pie. Tell me, how many of those have been printed?
>chaos is NOT a part of red's color pie, no matter how you spin it!Fucking retards man.
>>94812022Okay but enchantments explicitly ARENT in reds part of the pie anon so this is meaningless
>>94812034Yup. Same with "tax based counterspells". Bitch mana leak has been a card for eternity. There are like two colour pie breaks.
Does Solemnity break Sagas? Since they technically use Lore Counters.
>>94812047Removing enchantments isn't in red's color pie. Acknowledging their existence, punishing players for having them, and interacting with your own is fine. They just don't do it often because enchantments aren't often a major theme.
I can feel myself becoming slightly more gay.
Is there ever a situation where you'd want to do this?
>>94812137Cathar's Crusade is probably the worst card in the entire game that is both very powerful yet an abaolute horrible nightmare to track.
>>94811830Red can't destroy enchantments but it can still ruin Enchantress's day.
>>94812158fixed cathars crusade just got released and is still relatively cheap. You should still proxy.
>>94812158Yep. My first are going to love me spending 5 minutes a turn just putting counters out.
>>94812095Yep. You cant put counters on them, they cant trigger.
>>94812158Several of my decks would benefit hugely from it, but I frankly can't be fucked to deal with it.
>>94812118>acknowledging their existenceExplain why it happens in less than 1% of red cards then anon? >punishing players for having themLiterally one card lmao
>>94812193Less of a headache, but doesn't have synergy with this.Love to run both Cathers and that room but I don't think I can make room in my deck
>>94812158it's a card that just works infinitely better in an online format

>>94812207>Literally one card lmaoDockside, Aura Barbs, and Enchanter's Bane is three cards, anon. Printed across a pretty wide span of the game's history, even.
>>94812250We don't talk about banned cards here.
>blue has no combat wincondit-
>>94812251Is that why we don't talk about your mom?
>>94812222There's the normal gay stuff, but let's skip that entirely. Maybe an epic struggle deck? I started looking up gruul commanders, as it is the gayest colour, but the whole exercise depressed me.
>>94812158Just have tokens and dice.
>>94812257You can do better than that.
>>94812255Blue has tons of combat wincons, the fuck are you on about?
>>94812153It sort of lets you look at the top four cards of your library at any time? In a round about way at least. And it lets you pick which you draw when you draw. It's not that bad I'd think.
>>94812272no they don't all blue players know how to do is draw card, counterspell, and jace win
>>94812214How does All Will Be One play out usually? I like the idea of ira effect and have been wanting to try and make something with it. Even considered trying this commander but I thought Bright Palms may be better since it places 1/1s itself.
>>94811129Red is the best color in EDH along with blue
>>94812290Sure thing anon, whatever you say.
>>94812200That's fucking hilariousWhat if you play it while they already have counters? Will they just loop every turn?
>>94812355No, they'll just stop doing anything. You only get the chapter ability when the lore counter is added.
>>94812355Nothing will happen.
>>94811129If dockside cost 1RR or even RR it would not have been as broken as it was.The problem with him was any deck that splashed red could use him as a ritual for any color.Playing it in Mono R was probably the fairest way to use him
>>94812291If you build counters in red, it's absolutely devastating. With harden scales, doubling Season etc you will be incredible damage per turn.
>>94812158Cathars Crusade and anything that grows tall/wide with n^2 should be digital only, especially for tokens and permanents
>>94812250Dockside DOESNT PUNISH ANYONE FOR HAVING ENCHANTMENTS YOU BENEFIT FOR THEM HAVING ENCHANTMENTS THAT IS VERY DIFFERENT. The point still stands lmao if you are describing a colour based on what TWO CARDS OIT OF 4300 DO then youre a fucking moron
>>94812370>>94812377Awww
>>94811225Fuck yes. I will buy it if it's for less than $3
>>94812402>Dockside DOESNT PUNISH ANYONE FOR HAVING ENCHANTMENTS YOU BENEFIT FOR THEM HAVING ENCHANTMENTS THAT IS VERY DIFFERENTHello anon, in a versus format, your opponent's advantage is your disadvantage. I understand that today is literally your first day on Earth and it's all very confusing, so I hope that helps.
>>94812438This is such a stupid and blatantly incorrect view of the game sorry but you are wrong. No one is punished by playing Dockside

>>94812158>>94812397This is why I don't want to run Archangel of Thune but I feel like I am missing out by not using it

>>94812585But I'm not the anon you're referring to :) saying Dockside reads "win the game" is objectively incorrect and dishonest.
>>94812608And I had nothing to do with the conversation at all, but if hullbreacher was banned for "winning the game" you can draw your own conclusions.
You're not getting another (You) over this. Try something else.
I found my new favorite, useless as shit but amuses the fuck out of me pet land.

>>94812646How do you feel about this card?
>>94812632Literally Google the reason. You won't, so I'll save you the trouble. It created too many "giant swings" in the game as just one card. >>94812693>googled the reason>Neither mention that the cards are auto wins>anon comes back and pretends they are banned for being autowinsVery dishonest as I suspected you would be

To be fair to the anon, Master of Cruelties working with Kaalia while others don't is pretty dumb. Once the rule is explained to you, it makes sense. Creatures don't get their attack triggers if they're placed into play attacking. This is a sensible rule. But then Master of Cruelties gets to be the exception. The given reason for the exception is not satisfying. The card clearly states "whenever he attacks a player and isn't blocked", which references "When he attacks" as well as "and isn't blocked", meaning the picking and choosing which part of that sentence matters is unintuitive. Most logical players would say "well the triggers clearly states it's when he attacks and isn't blocked", but then the judge has to explain "well the first part is ignored, don't worry that the card clearly states when he attacks, only pay attention to the second part" which is unintuitive.

I'd buy like.. 50 or so junk token cards and fold/crumple them up and just pile them up in front of my creatures, and the theme would be something like "you have to get past the junkyard to attack me" via Propaganda effects (pay 1 for each artifact I have, or something like that). Dogmeat is the only commander that has enough colors (and can reliably create junk) to make it work but I just don't care for auras/equipment at all. >>94816799Yes it's beyond broken. Not only does the wording need to be cleaned up, but it would go infinite with any sac outlet that doesn't need to be tapped/paid for. It would need either a once per turn clause or something else to prevent a player from just saccing it to Phyrexian Altar for a million billion counters and mana.
2#ShatterfangLegendary Creature - Eldrazi WarriorVoidwalk (Can't be blocked if defending player has a land that taps for colorless)Whenever you create a token you may create a 1/1 Eldrazi Scion token instead.B/G: Sac X Eldrazi to give something +X/-X until end of turn.
>>94816799A+B card with any sac outlet
>>94816816me too
Yep. 5/5 for 7 mana or 4 or 5 mana and a huge drawback.
>>94816715I'm an awful judge of quality so here's three ones with different themes>Sorcery speed draw source>Silly card that would ironically be a cEDH staple>Commander
>>94816819Yeah, that's what I thought. I actually want it to be a stupid combo piece that can go infinite, but doing that while still being reasonable is surprisingly hard. Maybe bump it up to 8 CMC and have it enter tapped.
>>94816852>Arthur, Once and FutureWhen are we going to get the inevitable Fate crossover?
>>94816865Plausible, honestly. Much like every other crossover WotC is doing that series hasn't produced anything of value in years but people still vaguely remember it.
>>94816766OCN001 would probably need a mandatory green pip since its effect is based on Abundance. It's also a bit undercosted at only 2 mana. Aside from that it's pretty interesting.
NEW>>94816974>>94816974>>94816974>>94816974>>94816974
>>94816855Black has all sorts of tools to sneak big creatures in. Even the newest of newbs could figure out something like entomb+reanimate. CMC is irrelevant to combofags, and entering tapped wouldn't stop anything since it's power won't be from swinging but from counter/sac abuse. A card that can be infinitely sacced on its own would be a day 1 ban no matter how it was costed or what other benefits it added. Even playing "fair" as soon as it's in play with a Blood Artist or Grave Pact effect the game is over. Sorry bro but I give the idea a 0/10.
>>94813000any yootoobers that do EDH content only are despicable cringe with the highest chance of presenting absolute shit takes by default
>>94816620>>94816481Damn this thread is full of whiny faggots guy actually has a full on list yeesh
>>94816713All tutors are fine but I do find the "no tutors except land tutors" people hilarious like, lands are the strongest cards in the game
>>94816816>>94816827>durrrr me old player (larp) me only like no words on cards>remember when cards had no words!!!!>every card in the first 3 years of this game looked like this Drop the act
>>94817861Art went so much harder back then too to match the text
