Worst case you just convert them into a human, but you could make them idealized versions of themselves. Immortality, a new body, and a true place in society in exchange for your unflinching loyalty? Shit that's a better deal than people already get in their religion, I doubt it would be hard to convince people to convert to my minions, and everyone becoming my minion still fulfills the clause of No Mercy.

Dungeons make for really good bases, since many of my units require a lot of or unique sustenance, eliminating that problem. Nocturnal is also counteracted, due to how much thicker the Miasma will be in them. Combining that with land Transformation and Scrying means assaulting our positions is made that much harder. Being able to let people join, recycling fodder and being able to resurrect experienced minions is really useful. The rest of the drawbacks are inconsequential for the most part. The Greed trait gives me an actual reason to hoard loot in dungeons to lure in overconfident foes. Nothing special about units really, except Concubines to negate the Lustful Minions drawback.Traits are all geared for winning wars of attrition, gaining territory, and making that territory very difficult to get back. By turning the very land against the foe, we can entrench ourselves into the world. Army won’t be comprised of as many units, but each is powerful, and made even harder to fight when on home turf, and One Man Army gives them an advantage when attacking as well. The strategy will be planting down Dungeon Cores as we grow our territory, and using them as fortresses and force projection from where we rule. Let them break themselves on our walls, we have as much time as we want. By starting in the Far North we can slowly grow, before heading out on the campaign south.
