Are these worth running or is the tempo loss not worth it?
>>94824101Passable if you have a landfall deck that can pull lands out of the graveyard, trash otherwise. Even in a Gruul deck, by the time you finish including the topshelf duals and the minimal amount of utility lands you're already looking at 18-24 land slots filled up, leaving you 12-14 slots left for optimal land distribution and those slots should be reserved for basics to avoid getting absolutely shut down by nonbasic land hate every good deck should be running. Even if your pod is full of greed piles where no one likes to interact with lands, you can easily get 36-38 good duals/tri lands before you have to start touching hard tapped lands that have a minimal benefit.
>>94824101"tempo loss" is mostly critical for 1v1 or cEDH you can afford to fuck around lose tempo in casual EDH, it might even be to your benefit if you lowball your a little bit
