How do modern day non-arch Wod mages compare to modern day non-true magic Nasu mages?

Transformers Gen1I am a somewhat insane planet transformer that has a massive god complex. I demand praise and worship as I convert antimatter and solar radiation into flowing rivers of energy for my people. There are also healing pools that can restore even the most damaged machines and mines of precious metals. Starscream was given new powers to lead people to my utopia where there is no energy problems. He is now Pope and voice of Jumpertron. As my minion, I plan to treat him much like Vainqueur the Dragon by screaming minion at him and making outrageous commands. I will wait millions of years and see how Starscream will attempt to usurp the machine god and what the religion turns into. >Composition: Metal (Free: +400 RP]>Scale: Apocalypse [-2000 CP]Perks>Trademark [Free] >Audio Receptors [Free]>Insignia [Free]>Bot-Sitter [Free]>Bot-Dad [Free]ROBOT BUILDER : TECH SPECS>5 in eachROBOT BUILDER : FUNCTIONS>Transform [Free ]>Primary Function [Free]>Omnivore [-200 RP] can use other energy>Flight [-400 RP]Item>Toyline [Free]>Cybertonium [Free]>Electro Map [Free]>Antimatter Formula [-150 CP]Drawbacks>Millions of Years Ago [+0 CP] Millions of year ago>Animation Errors [+200 CP]>Defective Programming [+200 CP] (god Complex)>Lying or Stupid [+200 CP] Pope Starscream>The Writers Forgot [+200 CP]>Five Faces of Darkness [+200 CP]>Gas Guzzler [+300 CP] I can feed on antimatter and solar radiation>You Fool I Say [+50 CP]
>>94846845Aquaria has this one>Choirmaster (Free Loneliness): Remnants of an ancient song, from before the Civilizations of Aquaria became nothing but bones and relics, echo within your mind. By sharing this song with another, your own songs will become bound together. You will gain a measure of understanding over the other, and no matter how far you wander, you will always be able to feel their presence. This bond also comes with an additional benefit - any environment, no matter how harsh, becomes welcoming to them as long as you could call it home. Thus, even a land-breathing creature would have nothing to fear from Aquaria's waters

>>94846538The New World is specifically designed to offer a sort of half-hearted justification for Ainz's conquest. Not in that he has good motivations or cares about the people, he doesn't, but that the state of the world is such that it's careening towards utter disaster for everyone involved (well, except the minotaurs and eastern beastmen), and as awful as Ainz's methods are, the end result is still substantially better than anything else that can plausibly happen.Like, for reference the dwarves, elves, and humans (at least in the known world, there are a ton of other regions in the world but we don't know much about them beyond that if humans are there, they're probably hiding in caves or literal livestock) in that order are likely to go extinct or be reduced to livestock within a century or two given how the geo-political circumstances are going, and the Lizardmen of the Great Lake of Tob will probably suffer the same fate.
Is JJK the ultimate early jump for a shonen chain?>Flashing Black to punch good>Genius to be the stereotypical mega prodigy>Just That Good for system rule bending>Healer to reverse powers/have regen>King of Curses to be ultra prodigy + ability copyingYou can also potentially throw in Six Eyes which makes shit even more bonkers.

Is this okay as a 200 point cursed technique?>Inner Garden>The user enters their innate domain where there is a garden they can tend. By tending to the garden every day, it will expand just a bit, increasing their maximum cursed energy total. Their total cursed energy increases roughly 10% a year if they tend to the garden an hour each day.
>>94847211>200 point cursed technique>increasing their maximum cursed energy totalI barely know the setting and even I knoww thats bullshit.
>>94847222It's 10% a year and has no combat ability.
>>94846929Eh, they could simply be mass enslaved by the Minotaurs. That's not quite livestock bad.
>>94847250True. Thanks to the Minotaur Sage (a PC) the Minotaurs had a cultural revolution in which they advanced both magic-tech-wise and socially. So instead of treating humans as cattle, they treat them as chattel slaves. Elves and dwarves are fucked absent Nazarick though.
>>94847250>>94847293I'm actually struggling to see how this is so much worse than being conquered by the guys who won't reign in Demiurge desu.
>>94847211That is a 600 at minimum.
>>94847211This could barely be qualified as a 400 CP if it also has some major restrictions or drawbacks like "damage to the garden damages your own cursed energy total as well" and "you have to water the garden with the blood of Curse Spirits/Sorcerers". Note the "and" between those conditions; if you have BOTH of them, it'd probably work for a 400 CP technique. If you only have one, it's a weak 600 CP technique.

>>94847330Go back.
>>94847300Nazarick means some of the human/elven/dwarven population will be enslaved and treated as livestock while the rest have a substantial quality of life improvement in regards to both security and living standards. Beastman domination will mean EVERYONE will be treated as livestock, hunted for sport, or exterminated. In contrast to the Minotaurs who will just enslave the weaker races, but aren't currently of a mind to conquer the human-controlled section of the continent like the beastmen are. Technically people can just flee to the Platinum Dragon Lord's pet polity and live under his aegis, but he's only willing and able to protect so much turf at once. Well, except for the elves, because their King will kill them if they leave en-masse. Then again, he's currently getting them killed fighting a war he refuses to contribute to (because if they can't win it on their own, they're worthless to him, including his own children).
>>94847330That's only a problem if it's not reflective of the characters in the setting. If they have more, did they start that way, or did they acquire them later? 99 times out of 100, even the powerful characters that you can't build in the jump weren't born with all of their abilities.
>>94847330Pro tip: jumpchain police wont come after you if you make a build without counting the point cost.I am living proof. Been doing that shit for like 6 years and nobody cared because this is all a single player imagination game.
>>94847379that's irrelevant, jumps tend to balance you at either the same to an op protagonist for 0 points, for 1000 points, or for 1000+drawbacks points, with the drawbacks also resembling the protagonisti can't even think of one that doesn't do one of those three, honestly
>>94846845Generic Otome Isekai has a perk for that in the Hidden Target perkline. On a mostly unrelated note, it's also got a pretty great harem perk. Basically does everything to keep a harem together (members of your harem are considered your spouses legally, no one will have an issue with your harem in future worlds, harem members don't mind sharing and get along, etc) while also not attracting random people to you like most harem perks do.

>>94847517Just go to the wiki and pick the one that matches you/your jumper via Hisoka's personality test.

>>94847527>>94847695Nah, I'm gonna double back on that, I think Conjurer has to be most accurate after reviewing it a few times.

>>94847698In FGO you summon one main one, and as you ascend it you get more Valkyries, though they dont really manifest more than one at a time outside of combat because it would drain Ritsuka's mana too much. Though when activating their noble phantasm they can temporarily summon all ten at once even the once that haven't been fully summoned yet.Personally I just summoned them In Fate Strange Fake by taking the servant option at the highest tier in addition to highest class magic circle and wanking that my jumper's power and compability with them allowed him to summon all 10 at once.
>>94847707So from what little information I have it seems like the Dark Continent stuff that follows people back is a function of the Gatekeeper, does that meant that whatever we bring back isn't necessarily something that directly hitches a ride with us when/if we leave after starting there?

Think I had something like100 CP - Expanding systems/whatever to fit a new idea, similar to how he thinks of a halberd and suddenly his crafting system lets him make one200 CP - the ability to walk and target similar to minecraft400 CP - perform impossibilities that are possible in certain famous crafting games, like floating platforms, infinite water, rapid plant growth, everlasting torches, etc600 - the actual crafting system itselfWasn't sure if I should bundle other things like the equip screen or the inventory in those perks or make it a double perkline deal. If I give him double perks I would have to give the others, and that would be difficult.
>>94847893No, in combat they don't switch, you while strengthening one at a point you reach her cap, since they unlike the normal heroes are designed for a fixed power level, and then arrive the newer and shinier variant designed for more power, but yes, you get the entire harem of three named, outside of combat, in their NP there would be even more but normally you don't manifest them outside that.
What are some of your favourite magical items? I like Dagda's Cauldron from Scion
>>94847894>You fucking deadWell, let's analyze the situation from the top. I'm guaranteed to suffer horribly. As I have Muta-Lated the suffering is just kinda built in there. I'm crippled, which I will accommodate for by just putting myself in a puppet suit/having it carry me. The only people in the world who want me dead are the Star Plasma Vessel cult, which can actually be wiped out. Kenjaku or somebody is gonna ask me for some very dangerous favor of unknown nature. On the flip side, I am the greatest jujutsu user in history. Again, there are very few times I would actually have to fight anyone. Overall, there's definitely some inherent danger but nothing unmanageable compared to the average romp in, like, Berserk.

I planned out a story of a gardener Jumper planned around him growing one of them very slowly over the course of a Chain. Which would be how he eventually gained his version of a Spark. In addition, three times per day, the wearer can reach into one of the pockets of the cloak and pull out trail rations sufficient to feed himself. From another pocket, the wearer may with- draw a stoppered 1-quart metal flask that produces either pure cool water or sugared hot tea. The flask produces up to two gallons of liquid per day. The twist is that she knows almost every language in the world, has the secondary technique of boosting her Nen's power the more languages she stacks at the same time, and the victim doesn't even need to be the one to hear or understand what she's saying for her contract to be fulfilled; all she needs is 'someone' to explain herself to who understands what she's saying. It's not actually as strong as Netero in straightforward combat, way more useful for general purposes because it's more open to creative exploitation.

How is the sequence of Jumps in your Chain determined in the context of the lore/metaphysics of the Chain itself? Does the Jumper decide their next Jump? Is it completely random? Does the benefactor decide for them? Anything like that. If it is determined by an external figure, than what criteria do they usually use to decide what Jump the Jumper should experience next?

>>94848418Inugamihime ni Kuchizuke is pretty good if you don't mind a little ghostbusting on the side of your slice of life. Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland can get kind of surreal. But on the other hand you could also spend an entire decade riding fluff goats, attending balls, and eating delicious cookies too. Night In The Woods is a little more realistic about its slice of life. It's not a bad place, but just like real life it can be a little depressing at times. Restaurant to Another World is perfect slice of life if you're interested in cooking at all. Or if you just want to explore a generic fantasy world and go to a really great restaurant once a week. Stardew Valley is farming slice of life. You don't necessarily have to farm, but I really like gardening so it's always on my list. Telemonster is goofy slice of life. The monsters go on little adventures every day or so. Nothing very dangerous even if they do sometimes end up with cartoonish bandages on themselves. The whole place runs on a lot of toon physics though, so I think they're mostly putting on a show. The Voynich Hotel is another on for weird slice of life. The place is kind of dangerous, but at the same time you could sit around and smoke weed while vigorously masturbating without even poking into the weirdness in the background. But the witches are cute and mostly just want to be normal people now. Mostly.

>>94848249>Basically, her technique is making whatever she says happenThere's a guy in canon whose power works like that, but it's based on haikus and how effective the ability is depends on how good the haiku is.
>>94848491It's a combination of factors. Trains are comically more economic than planes and able to carry loads that a plane could only dream of, making them amazing for logistics. And for short (less than, say, 100 miles) distances, trains are vastly superior as public transportation as well-able to get around very quickly, very safely, and get loads of people where they need to with little loss of time or fuel. A proper train network is just flat-out superior to such things as cars or planes when it comes to public transportation within a city or a small country.Planes are fast, and can ignore terrain. That makes them excellent for long-distance or high-priority transportation. But trains have them beat in volume, efficiency, and safety by miles.

>>94848419During his first fifty years of DCAU, jumper learned the truth. There are infinite jumpers all on their first jump. And all are him, split off at the same point in time and inserted into other worlds. It started with a magical scrying mirror that let him watch his other selves. Batman and Superman knew, but that was because jumper told them about the cartoons he use to watch as a kid. Through a drawback in JLU he started building a hub of himself to help the others without powers. Survival rates were not the best in a lot of worlds. They all thought it made sense at the time and were getting weird, according to Hawkgirl. Like when they would have Waifu Wars. They would pit their various waifus against one another in an arena. Mostly harmless stuff happened, but they did control a multidimensional hub. Turns out that if you send the same guy to multiple world and they get or don't get random powers, perks and items, some super geniuses show up and can help gather the rest. By the end of Batman Beyond they has rescued many trapped version of himself and given them a selection of powers. They could pick from a list. It was great and they were all happy to see what happens in the future. There was much fun and excitement seeing all the various his life could have taken. Like the guy in Batman TAS that got the $100 million monthly allowance and the other that just showed up as a penniless beggar. Or figuring out who waifued who and why. There is a certain level of trouble that would cause the JL to summon more of jumper. Granted everything he thought he knew about this was tossed out the window when he woke up in a different world after Batman Beyond and couldn't contact the hub. Turns out it was just DCAU strung together with that one multiverse drawback and jumper had no idea. He had given up on the idea of a chain and was just happy with the life he had. He also learned that he didn't get to pick his perks or any known benefactor.

Nen ability: Codependency >This ability only functions while both sharing users of the ability are together, those users being the two siblings that created the ability. This ability makes the two siblings virtually invulnerable to outside harm so long as they are making physical contact, but the longer they maintain contact the more damage they take from the ability itself. 5 minutes of sustained contact is enough to kill both siblings. In addition to this basic function, the siblings are both significantly more powerful while making contact and by kissing can enter "toxic love" mode, increasing the speed at which the ability kills them but further enhancing their physical abilities and allowing them to maintain the ability without directly touching. >Conditions: If the siblings do not make physical contact with one another at least once every 24 hours they will both die. If either of the siblings willingly cheats on the other they will both die. When either of the siblings dies, the other dies. If the siblings do not perform at least one ritualistic sacrifice of a human being every six months they both die.

>>94848594Ah-but see, that's the kicker here. The infrastructural and maintenance costs of trains is FAR lower than cars-but only if you take the collective maintenance cost of all cars and roads together. And this works to disguise the costs-because a full and proper train network, several trains to run on it, and qualified train operators makes for a pretty substantial up front cost, whereas America already has a very old road network so it's very easy to completely ignore the cost of building roads, creating gas stations, and of course-making cars. Lots, and LOTS of cars. Hundreds of millions of cars. More than a billion cars worldwide, actually. Let's do a little math real quick. Building a single passenger train can run you up a good $5 million dollars. Sounds like a whole lot, right? Compared to the price of a single car-which can run you about $20k, it seems exorbitant. But a train can easily seat a good 300 people-but let's be generous here and say that on an average run the train will only have 100 occupants. So that's $5 million dollars to transport 100 people regularly. On the other hand, 100 cars at $20k each will run you up...$2 million dollars. Man, that's a big price jump-but that's not even adding in fuel costs. This is a little more complex, but let's put some numbers down here too. Trains are heavy beasts and drink a lot of fuel, but they can pull a LOT of stuff with their engines-and with their sheer momentum they can get some pretty good hauls going. An average passenger train can pull a good 277 ton-miles per gallon. That is-for every 277 tons of weight, the train would consume a gallon to push it a mile. Honestly not that bad. Comparatively-the best that cars can do these days is somewhere in the range of 55 miles to the gallon-and all they're hauling is themselves and MAYBE up to four passengers. Oh, but the worst is yet to come. Because cars have one last super sneaky trick up their sleeves: they push all the costs onto YOU.(1/2)
>>94848711>UratarouThat manga really jumped the shark. Just, complete discontinuity with the story before and after the timeskip, and we get basically none of the prior plot-threads resolved. And worst of all, it robbed me of a hot Ibaraki. Evil. Pure evil.
>>94848776See, trains have one big upfront cost that's generally born by government commission. It's a big charge upfront for setting up the infrastructure, buying/making the trains, all that jazz. But cars have a fun little trick up their sleeves: they're not government funded. They're funded by CONSUMERS. All the government needs to do is put down some road and car companies will come out of the woodworks to SELL you a way to actually use that infrastructure. So instead of one large flat cost, it's a bunch of tiny costs pepper-spraying the populace and hiding just how much the actual sum total cost of making use of those roads actually comes up to. And believe you me, it's a hefty fucking price.Remember how buying a hundred cars came up to about $2 million compared to a single train's $5 million? Well-cars wear out. They wear out pretty fucking fast too-it isn't uncommon to have to buy a new car every 5-10 years. So that's another $2 million just to keep using the roads, then another $2 million, and so on. But what about trains-surely they wear out too, right? Yeah, sure-in about 40 years. Frankly it's more of a concern that the interiors get outdated than the actual train functioning. And that's not even mentioning things like tires, oil changes, driving accidents, and so much more that would ding you a WHOLE lot more compared to trains-which, again, are much safer, much more easily maintained, and much more fuel efficient. Every way you slice it, trains are just a better economic choice. They need a lot of infrastructure set up first of course-but so did roads, and compared to cars trains can actually get away with a good deal LESS infrastructure. They're cheaper in the long term, cheaper for the consumer, cheaper for the government-and that's not even mentioning the long-term environmental benefits of swapping from hundreds of cars to just one or two trains....But cars are a status symbol of the elite and walthy, and thus are here to stay.(2/2)

I count Star Wars, DC, Mass Effect, Avatar the Last Airbender, Space Battleship Yamato, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Legend of Zelda, Transformers, and Babylon 5 - just in the first eight pages. What the fuck is happening? It's a crossover fanfic setting that just kept getting more and more writers and fics until it became it's own thing, apparently. It's still pretty neat though, and being able to slap FTL onto literally anything is really useful

>>94849358No. Loneliness is bearable, death is not.
>>94849358I can get a waifu that always loves me while on a chain. Also, I don't overly care about being alone. What I do care about, is that I don't see a future worth living in.

Insofar as relating this kind of thing to a Chain goes, I imagine a lot of the empire-Jumpers have their own plans to forestall this sort of social phenomenon, and I imagine some of them vehemently disagree on what is necessary to do so. Not all of them, this thread has fairly consistent leanings, but there's got to be one or two who go against the grain.

>>94849533>because 99% of the people I meet are unbearable violent retards or narcissistic psychopathsI'm speaking from personal experience here: the problem is probably you and YOU'RE the violent retard narcissist sociopath. When literally everyone else sucks it isn't everyone else. It's you.

It was close to the ground now, its six wings paradoxically keeping it aloft even as its gargantuan head turned to look down upon her, three alien eyes boring down onto her from one side of its head her like a particularly curious ant. More importantly, it was close enough for her to get to. She'd just have to-wait, no.It was begining to open its maw, a fell light emitting and-It was more a wave of pressure, than a normal sound. >>94849606The not-Rabbit person paused in her dash, eyes infinitesimally narrowing at the beast."DO YOU HAVE A MOMENT TO HEAR ABOUT MORMON JESUS?"For a moment, her train of thought screeched to an utter halt, as she tried to parse what the abomination against the universe was saying.Eventually, she decided that she wasn't going to loose anything through honesty here. "....no?"It didn't say anything for a while, hovering there in the air, then-"Fair enough. It's a rather silly topic."Its voice was...less. It still coursed through her, something to be felt in the shaking of her bones more than heard with her ears, but it wasn't as brutal, as crushing as what she'd felt before. Still, the essential question was still there."...so, are we going to fight?""I'd rather not, but if you insist I suppose we can." "Huh.""Hm?""N-nothing! There's no need then...I guess I'll be...going?""Probably for the best. Acid oceans aren't for everyone."With that said, the creature began flying off, surprisingly rapid for something of its immense mass, before proceeding to dive in the frothing waves. >>94849659Everyone has their reasons to want to escape this world. Not everyone can be married with three+ kids and a six figure job. I do wonder how many people here were bullied and if that has a factor in wanting god like power.
>>94849634Azure's stuff being in the PERVERT origin isn't a problem (since she is), The problem is that there ISN'T an Azure origin they seem to have made origins based around archetypes and themes instead of specific characters while not giving the freeform discounts needed to make that structure work.
>>94849670>I do wonder how many people here were bullied and if that has a factor in wanting god like power.I'm a lot like Naruto. I wasn't really bullied, it's just that nobody cared much about me except my family.
>>94849679It would work better if Pervert was the Baiser & Azure origin but it mostly seems to be the Baiser origin with just one Azure perk tossed in at random. My version is just giving Baiser her own tree and putting everyone else's stuff in the Heroine and Villain trees alongside other stuff like Sulfur's battle maniac perks and such.

>>94849741NTA but I would totally take that. Buy the perk that lets you access the Warehouse, take the boring drawback, sell the apartment if permissible for a boost to your bank account, and live out of your Warehouse where you pay no taxes or utilities and don't need a vehicle because you can fast-travel with portals. Use your Warehouse portals to steal what you need/want.
>>94849725Silly question, if we somehow return to a past jump, such as with a 'Return', could we use the collars from Angel Academy to recruit someone from there?
>>94849807But what job will you have?
>>94849815I don't see why you couldn't.

>>94849807It's not so difficult to game. Pick something public service, anything. Master of The Craft that. You need to be a colossal fuckup to lose a public service job when you're also the most skilled person in the office. Actually you already need to be a colossal fuckup to lose a public service job most of the time, but being the best in the office really nails you in the "cannot be fired" area.
>>94849507
>>94849832Does using warehouse portals for drug running and smuggling count as odd jobs? I feel like that would both make the CIA want you on their side and want to kill you.
>>94849850Drug running and smuggling isn't a CIA business unless you're using it to fund armed groups overseas hostile/friendly to US interests. FBI will be on your ass first, and they have the issue that they need to actually prove you're doing something illegal which isn't so easy if they need to prove you have a supernatural extradimensional pocket space you're using to smuggle drugs which is why nobody can catch you with drugs on your person.
>>94849725Was Sulfur a battle maniac? She mostly just a Magenta simp from what i remember.
>>94849850If you do it independently, probably yeah.
>>94849866Sulfur's backstory for how she became a magical girl is that a monster tried to attack her so she beat it up with a brick. Her primary weapon is also a brass knuckle.
>>94849859It would be funny in court when there is only blurry photos of a white room painted on a wall. No drugs found on you, not even a smell of drugs. If yous et up the portals in key locations you could just get paid for others to use them as fast travel locations and you never have to interact much.
>>94849878That seems more like an anger thing that her being a Goku.
>>94849850Hell the Drugs and Vidya item means you automatically get a months worth of really good drugs. Means you literally make your own production and logistics chain out of nothing and leave zero trace of anything.
>9 to 5 job>thread all over discussing how to become a drug kingpin insteadThis is why I come here.
>>94849845Nta but Yes, return to reality so you can be miserable just like everyone else.
Honestly thinking on it>Rolling Stone Drawback +400If you're being a Warehouse teleporter this basically happens anyway and you may as well get points for it>Tyrant -600This perk just ensures you do at least a little drug muling but with a big trust bonus>Three Strikes -200 (for drop-in)Basically ensures you have three chances to fuck up spectacularly before everything comes crashing down.>Well that was Weird -100 (drop-in)Someone seeing the wrong thing through a doorway or a security cam catching you leaving a room but never entering don't butterfly into a horrorshow. This jump is made for being a smuggler.
>>94848791She'll run out of eggs eventually.
>>94849932>>94849906I just love that access to the warehouse is the only thing stopping so many of us from being drug mules and other types of smugglers. Just a tiny amount of power is all we crave to rise up from our boring jobs and life.
>>94849953You'd be surprised, but if you have a whole warehouse then drugs aren't the most valuable thing you can smuggle. No, that's guns and ammunition. Buy it legally, take a short holiday to your thirdie destination of choice, hand guns over to your militia of choice in exchange for goods. You want the goods because the money is 50/50 going to be counterfeit and even if it's not is likely to be in a difficult to convert local currency. If you want to up your risk you can go trading guns to Columbian militias for cocaine or something, but I would personally suggest considering trading weapons to African militias for rare earth minerals. The advantage of those is that they're easy to disguise the origin of and you won't get investigated just for trading them.
>>94849953I've thought a LOT about how to use the Warehouse, especially an upgraded one. Its a fairly unique thing, and early chain it can be a lifesaver. Store food/water. Store a warm bed and appliances like a stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer, a bathtub/shower combo. Fast travel. 20,000 square feet of space that nobody knows about and nobody else can access. Stuck in a siege? No you're not. Share your food, bring in outside food, get people out, get fresh soldiers in. Didn't pack appropriately and have to rough it? No you don't. Enjoy 21st century conveniences though this portal only you can make.
>>94849977You can also consider poaching. The margins on ivory are HUGE, as are margins on rhino horn and shit. Even illegally harvested timbers are real valuable if you can hook yourself up with a supplier and customer. The one thing I will tell you not to try and smuggle are gems. Just don't. I used to trade gems, it's a sucker's game. Even with your warehouse.
>>94849906>”Jesse, listen to me”>”You know the business, and I know how to open the Cosmic Warehouse. I’m thinking maybe you and I can partner up”
How would global markets be effected by the mass proliferation of portal technology?
>>94849994>rhino hornDon’t forget selling assorted dried seafood, lizards and snakes to the elders of Shard’s country as immortality pills and aphrodisiacs.
>>94849977If you have the medbay, just imagine how much the ultra rich would pay for perfect health. But I wouldn't want to give them that.
>>94850003Depends on the portal tech
>>94850006Depending on how you read the sentence "Can fix up anything that still has a pulse" it might just straight-up revert the effects of aging.
>>94850003From an economist perspective, we'd have to first ask about the cost of teleportation and any downsides. But the most immediate thing we can imagine is that markets would become homogenised even further than before. In reality, modern markets are so cheap for bulk transportation that they're already fairly homogenised around the bulk goods trade, but the small goods & especially perishable small goods trade can be badly effected. Compare, for instance, the ratio of cost of sending ten thousand tons of steel anywhere/ price of the steel itself versus the cost of sending one single head of cabbage into the middle of a desert far from any city/cost of actually producing said head of cabbage.
>>94850018I figure some higher up will learn and investigate this. But just imagine the global freakout of these rich bastards if they found out a guy had a way to deage them and he was just running around selling petty drugs and smuggling guns. They can't act in the open and announce what you have, but they would be after your ass with elite swat teams and mercs. It could be funny. You could just be the odd job guy that has the cure for everything and just accept what people are willing to pay. Just open a portal next to some dying people and offer them a cure for cancer or something. Like a magical folk hero.
>>94849840what would be the easiest public service job?
>>94850038People are always afraid the ultra-wealthy will kill them for being able to deage them. I find it very silly. If you have a hundred billion dollars, wouldn't you first offer to make the guy a billionaire if he works for you? Think about it logically. If you're ageless, you have all the time to compound your wealth and end up with orders of magnitude more money than you gave away even if he demanded something insane like most of your wealth, so it's basically not a real cost. And very few super rich guys even comprehend that there are services that money can't buy, because when you have billions you find that basically anyone can be bought...
>>94850038>Sell drugs>Buyers OD>Sell them perfect health>Sell them more drugs because their body now has no resistance to the drugs againOh God
>>94849906I wouldn't mind a normal 9 to 5 but some people gotta be ambitious.
if you can make portals why not just steal money directly from a bank?
>>94850053NTA but I think its more the "If I can't get this, no one can"
>>94850053I seem them more as control freaks. If you are the one with the power to deage them they will want it for themselves and might not want other rich people to get it. They might try to find your weakness and claim they own you now or try and kill you. I do not see such people willing to take a knee and now working for you or allowing you to remain independent. At a certain point you stop using money to buy things and start using people and nations to buy them.

The more offensive the act the brother commits, the more powerful and longer lasting the compulsion. If one cannot be produced, it will eat the sister's soul. If there is any person nearby other than the sister the demon can be directed to them and will attempt to devour their soul. If the demon fails to devour their soul after 5 minutes it will give up and "return to hell". If it succeeds it will reward the sister by granting her a gift in accordance with its pleasure at the sacrifice. It may give small artifacts with special abilities if it is particularly pleased.

Hello it is 1am where I am and I have some smoothbrain ideas.According to my extremely outdated nasuverse knowledge, mana is the energy in the atmosphere/of the world, od is a magus's internal energy, and some magnus will mix the two together in order to extend their metaphorical mp bar.Additionally, Reinforcement seems kinda similar to Blut Vene. Do you think that being a Magus would offer any insight towards Quincy techniques in that they might already have a level of experience in the whole absorbing energy aspect, or that perhaps being a Quincy might enhance their ability to absorb stuff and thus empower them somewhat? And on top of that, aborbing energy is also how many variations of senjutsu are supposed to work, such as Naruto's sage mode. Outside of the whole turning to stone part, would a Magus/Quincy be in a good position to start learning/teaching themselves sage stuff in Naruto?Should I pull a copy of Star Wars 7 out of ye olde "treasure chest" and watch it or is it 200% garbage?

>>94850327>>94850335 and >>94850388 are so correct it hurts, I would argue there has to be a better way to spend a few hours but it's nowhere near the awfulness of the subsequent movies or Kenobi.
>>94850319>>94850329Arachne Tellwyrn is the canon mary sue of the setting she appears in (stated by the author). She's at the very least over 3100 years old and quite possibly much older, has fought in multiple Hell Wars and is arguably the greatest living user of arcane magic in her world, she's also the only person credited with personally slaying a god. She's the founder of the University that much of the story takes place at and is also a professor there that teaches history, something she's quite good at on account of having lived through a good portion of it. She's super powerful, knows it and is something of a blunt instrument because she doesn't like dealing with subterfuge and intrigue when she knows she can just fucking smack people around to get what she wants and there's very little anyone or anything can do about it. Despite that she cares a lot about the people she feels responsible for and is a genuinely good person at heart. She's an immortal elf and becoming a companion is basically the only chance she'll ever have to properly leave her world because elven biology literally requires the local magic to function which explicitly only exists on the world the setting takes place in and a few adjacent dimensions that can be reached from it (like the local version of Hell).
>>94850183>Maximum RideBeen a while since I thought of those books or the manga. I read Nevermore and never touched Forever. Dunno why.
>>94848776>>94848789You're wrong on one little thing. Cars aren't a status symbol any longer, they're practically a requirement to get around. The reason why cars beat trains is simply due to manufacturers making bigger profits from them. This is why renewable technologies and anything that makes more sense long term will always be a meme in this system, if you simply don't make as much profit to the company then you're useless despite how much objectively better the thing is.
>>94850327I watched 7 in the theaters and thought it was basically just a step for step rehash of episode 4. Not a good rehash either, they leaned hard on spectacle rather than a good script and it suffers for it, it also basically shits on the legacy of the original trilogy by dent of the fact that it establishes that all the earlier sacrifices and efforts basically accomplished nothing.
If Shimazaki Ryo and Gojo Satoru fought, who would win and by how much? I realized as I was brainstorming my time in JJK that Shimazaki, who's one of my companions, is going to absolutely grate on Gojo and the two are almost definitely going to end up fighting at some point. And while part of me wants to say that Gojo would just stomp Shimazaki, while thinking about it I realized that this fight might actually be a lot closer than I initially considered given Shimazaki's abilities.
>>94850377>Wrapped it up? Yes. Wrapped it up well? Uh....well...it's kinda silly.Welp... Thats unfortunate but at least I have the memories of the series to look back on.
>>94850408I read up to MAX (the one about the giant mutated sea monsters who help the kids battle an undersea radioactive waste-dumping corpo conspiracy) then forgot about the series. I heard the final book was Lost-levels of not making sense as an ending.God damn every single conspiracy in that series was pants on head retarded in that special saturday morning cartoon kind of way, and Jeb deserved death. Imagine wasting billions of dollars on genetically engineered supersoldiers or robot doppelgangers who get wrecked in a fistfight with some winged runaway children. Or that one time, by a random leopard seal attack.
>>94848776>>94848789Yeah but the problem is that having to use public transportation to get anywhere takes a lot of time and people's time is valuable. Plus trains and train stations need to be safe or else people will not use them and a lot of places seem to either have no intent to keep them safe or nor inclination to punish the people making them unsafe. There's a reason everyone forced to ride the subway in NYC stands directly against the wall with their head on a swivel. Also speaking from experience I spent the better part of my youth riding MARTA down in Atlanta, back in the 90's when it wasn't a complete shitshow, and then spent a few years much later on in the 2000's riding the banhauf (spellcheck, the German train system) in Germany. Germany's trains network and systems were much better than those in America and were more accessible in terms of where you could go... but having used both systems extensively I still purchased a car and have never ever looked back. It doesn't matter how much more cost efficient trains are when you can end up wasting literally hours of time on transit and risk exposing yourself to crazy assholes who literally might try to murder you for no reason.
>>94850432Based off the wiki of this dude, it seems like he doesn't have any way past Infinity unless all the psychics in Mob Psycho can do remote telekinesis attacks. So Gojo kinda wins by default.
>>94850432Might help if you explained who Shimazaki Ryo is and what he can do.>>94850438>undersea radioactive waste-dumping corpo conspiracyWhy would this sort of thing exist? It'd be cheaper and easier to just bury the stuff in concrete in a secure bunker in the desert. Hell that's literally how it's done IRL.
>>94850469You've said it yourself, it just needs to be easier and cheaper.>bury it with concreteHmm, idk seems kinda expensive.
>>94850469My guy, I cannot even begin to explain how retarded all the evil conspiracies in Maximum Ride are. There's a Captain Planet villain who apparently decided to place all his internal organs in an immobile exoskeleton and get a genetically engineered huge smug not!Frankenstein's Monster to push him everywhere. One of the greatest "successes" of all the genetic engineering bullshit was an autistic kid called Omega who's slightly stronger than the main flying runaway kid, whose weakness turns out to be waving something in his face then getting cheapshotted because they built his brain to be bad at tracking fast moving objects. They implant a fucking telepathic voice inside the main girl's head to just kind of fuck with her and give her plot sensitive information. They torture a kid into a flying werewolf and then clone him for money they could've probably used to buy a shitload of drones instead. And from what I've been told, the ultimate point of all the experiments was to create posthuman lifeforms capable of surviving either a disease outbreak or a meteor impact since BOTH fucking happen. All the while the evil scientist who survives to the end insists everything he has done is for the sake of life to survive on the planet, and plot armour forces the kids to grow enough of a conscience to repeatedly save him from unrelated death after REPEATEDLY TRYING TO CLONE HIS MUTILATED WEREWOLF SON.These people make Amanda Waller look reasonable and levelheaded.
>>94850460>>94850469They all can, yeah. To summarize his abilities:-He can amplify all of his physical abilities, including strength, speed, durability, and reaction times. He can kick someone across a city block and through multiple buildings, level an apartment complex with a single attack, dodge hundreds of bullets, sprint across a significant distance faster than almost anyone (including other high-level Espers able to themselves move faster than humans can see) can see via pure speed, tank hits able to pulverize concrete with amped durability (as opposed to his psychic barrier), and perceive the world at such speed that it's effectively frozen.-A telekinetic barrier that can block attacks strong enough to nearly vaporize huge swathes of terrain and multiple city blocks. However, his barrier relies on his ability to predict attacks so it can be bypassed if he's hit with something that his ESP can't see.-His refined ESP allows him to sense everything around him within a range of multiple kilometers. He can use this to sense the movement of all objects and predict his opponents. This makes him effectively impossible to catch by surprise or hit with any attack he's able to avoid. Which is exacerbated by his:-Instantaneous teleportation across the range of a city at least. He activates this instantly with no wind-up, the teleport occurring pretty much as soon as he thinks about it. This, combined with his ESP, makes him incredibly difficult to hit or pin down. He can also teleport anything (including other people) he's touching, can teleport himself into contact with someone, and can alter his momentum and trajectory after teleporting. So he can bypass Infinity, for example, by just teleporting his fist directly into Gojo's face with the momentum already there.-His Mind's Eye (his red eyes) basically gives him the Sharingan when he focuses all of his attention onto certain targets but he doesn't have to physically see them since it works through his ESP.
>>94850479I meant cheaper and easier in the sense that they wouldn't need to spend all that money hiding what they were doing, bribing and/or killing people and so on and so forth if they just disposed of it all the normal way. Fissle material isn't exactly something you can get at the corner store, any facility capable of making the sort of stuff that would require that sort of thing would be well known to basically every major government and they'd all be keeping close eyes on both the radioactive materials that's going in, what and how it's being processed (and for what purpose) as well as what is done to it afterwards. The sheer amount of effort and money that would be needed to keep all that stuff under the radar would be far more expensive than just dealing with the radioactive waste the normal way. Especially since there isn't exactly a lot of it. All the spent fuel rods from nuclear reactors IRL since literally the very first reactors to the current day for example could all fit on the pitch of a single football field with plenty of room to spare.
>>94850538>So he can bypass Infinity, for example, by just teleporting his fist directly into Gojo's face with the momentum already there.Gonna press X to doubt here, this is an assumption that I personally don't agree with. the whole point of infinity is that you can't actually touch / reach Gojo while it's up. Unless this dude's teleportation has infinite range i'm not seeing how he gets past that.
>>94850408>Been a while since I thought of those books or the manga. There was a manga? I just remember the books. Weren't there supposed to be werewolves with wings or something that worked for the bad guys?
>>94850311never saw Frieren so not really
>>94850538Okay, so I still don't think this fight is actually that close for a couple reasons.1. If Gojo lands an actual hit, he's just dead. His barrier can protect him, but if Gojo does get around that at any point he's screwed.2. Domain expansion. If Gojo catches him in his domain he's just dead. I guess he might not have CE but if you're importing him he should.3. Gojo is never getting killed or knocked out by this guy. Gojo's stamina and healing are virtually infinite due to the Six Eyes. Even if this guy is comparably strong/fast/whatever to Gojo, he won't be after a long enough time fruitlessly trying and failing to take him out.
>>94850571What if Shimmy Ryo can teleport across the world, like how Sukuna's adapting cleave can slash the world?
>>94850571That's... not how Gojo's Infinity works at all. It's not an infinite amount of space, it's an infinite amount of distance within finite space. An inch of Infinity is still just an inch.
>>94850414you know where you belong, and it isn't here
>>94850571Nta but I'd have to side with them here. Infinity isn't a fate conceptual ability. It has to actually divide the space between Gojo and the enemy. The real distance is still in effect so you don't need infinite teleportation to bypass it. Hell, the whole idea of the paradox it works off of is that no matter how far you get in x amount of time there should still be more distance to go over time, but teleportation is disregarding time altogether and just getting where you wanna go.
Sonic solos both these clowns anyway. No actually, forget Sonic. TAILS and AMY ROSE solo these goofballs.
>>94850602Yeah, but they're unironically like 5D so that's not saying much. That's like saying Goku soloes Rex-plode from Invincible
>>948506105D? Nah, they're just that good.
>>948505811. How is Gojo ever going to even reach Shimazaki to hit him in the first place?2. Mind's Eye would (at least based on its ability to predict other, similar psychic powers) predict Domain Expansion and allow him to simply teleport out of its range. Also I'm running on the idea that Mob Psycho psychic power and Cursed Energy are functionally identical considering that Evil Spirits and Cursed Spirits are damn near identical.3. Ryo's psychic abilities aren't draining at all to use. He doesn't have an "energy pool" or anything, his psychic powers are all pretty much effortless to use. So functionally they both have infinite energy until they just get too physically exhausted to continue fighting.
>>94850590How does that work exactly? Say for example someone cast a D&D spell on him that just causes an effect to happen on a target so long as they are in range, would Infinity make him "out of range" or would he still get affected?
>>94850623He'd still be affected.Gojo's Infinity is based on a paradox called Achilles and the Tortoise. It states that infinite distance exists across any amount of normal space because that space can be subdivided into an infinite amount of mathematical distance. What Infinity does is enforce this onto the real world by creating infinite distance within a finite space, forcing objects approaching Gojo to cross an infinite amount of mathematical distance to span a finite space. Because an inch of space can be divided into mathematical infinity, an object must cross infinite distance to surpass that one inch. That's what Gojo's ability does.So it's still just an inch but Gojo's ability makes that inch infinite effective distance. But an ability that simply skips over that distance and creates an effect INSIDE of a given area-of-effect would simply ignore Infinity entirely because, while it's infinite distance to any object trying to physically cross through it, it's still just one finite inch of actual space.
>>94850616>How is Gojo ever going to even reach Shimazaki to hit him in the first place?Because he's gonna be in proximity to Gojo if he ever wants to hurt him? If he's touching Gojo that means there's a window where Gojo is touching him too, which is not good for bro as Gojo has been known to literally surprise nuke himself to get the W.
>>94850596Either continue the discussion or don't post at all.
>>94850647>Gojo's Infinity is based on a paradox called Achilles and the Tortoise"If Achilles protects his heel and maintains his full speed...it would be a close race, I think""You'd come second?""Nah, I'd come first"
>>94850651I don't think you quite understand how Shimazaki's teleportation works. Or more specifically how fast Shimazaki's teleports is. He can teleport instantaneously as soon as he thinks about it. There is no wind-up AT ALL. He is simply in one place and then he's in another pretty much the instant he wants to be. And his ESP allows him to be aware of everything occurring within a kilometer's range, including allowing him to predict the trajectory of objects and all of his opponent's attacks. His Mind's Eye takes this one step further, allowing him to predict all of his opponent's actions and see through their weaknesses and mistakes instantly to capitalize on them. Which he can with his teleportation.Shimazaki can, for example, immediately teleport right behind Gojo's with his fist already in contact with his head, deliver the punch, and then vanish before Gojo can even begin to react. His teleportation is effectively instantaneous in activation, he can attack from any angle, and he's able to predict his opponent's attacks and even the activation of Psychic Powers/Cursed Energy several seconds before it happens. So I'm not really sure how Gojo is going to hit him in the first place.
>>94850677So how the fuck does this guy get beaten in Mob Psycho then?
For those interested in capeshit, apparently a few days, Diamond Comic Distributors just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
>>94850696Diamond has been relevant in capeshit for years ever since they cut ties with DC
>>94849282I agree with they complains about Femjo and Femkuna being too powerful, the rest is good.
>>94850694He gets soloed by the strongest, most invincible Esper in existence. Of course all of JJK combined would be humiliated by Reigen-sama so it's not much of an anti-feat.
>>94850723BASED, CHADgen would solo all of JJK as well with ZERO effort because Mob would be doing all of the work
>>94850696God, please let this kill the American Comic Industry
>>94850677Hey, buddy, maybe stop slurping so loud. Everyone in the dorm can hear you. If you're considering CE and whatever psychic shit in Mob Psycho the same Gojo has the six Eyes, which means he always knows where this dude is as he has high definition vision in 360° around him. He can see what his abilities are just by looking at him and he can see when and how he's gonna attack. The teleport having no windup doesn't mean he can hit Gojo and get away before Gojo can react. That's just an assumption on your part. Once again, look how Gojo tried to finish Gojo vs Sukuna. He creates a blue, pretending it was just to kill Agito. He then created a red so that it would be sucked into the blue and make purple. Unless the dude already understands how purple works this trick would work on him. I'm assuming this guy is capable of, like, losing so I'm guessing he's not literally omniscient. His punches wouldn't even damage Gojo anyways if their best feat is "total an apartment complex" as Yuji can do that in one hit and he's 1/10th as strong as Gojo being generous. Unlimited Hollow purple nukes a city sized area, which is the range of this dude's teleport, although I guess there's not a confirmed limit?
>>94850719I was gonna make them cost 600 but I wanted to be nice to "always buys every companion" guy.
>>94850729Sorry, wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Like I said in the earlier post DC has somehow been trundling on without them, like a zombie marching forwards with some of it's ribs gouged out by a stray shotgun blast. As for Marvel, things have been looking up for them because of the Rivals game giving their IPs a popularity bump. The interconnectedness of the industry lets comics continue to decay eternally as an IP farm.
>>94850728True. But more specifically, Mob would do all the work and then Reigen would give the opponent a "This is why you suck" speech that OBLITERATES them with adult FACTS and LOGIC.
>>94850677Nta but couldn't Gojo use the six eyes to stop the "psychic energy"from reaching him, if we are equalizing it with CE?
>>94850729It's never going to happen. Capeshit is to the western sphere what Xianxia is to the Chinese. Or what Isekai is to the japanese.
>>94850737That would be me, and in fact I already expressed my gratefulness even if not with 10000 prayers+fists every day when you said that, I still think making the Blessed Princess capable of easily taking over the world and the Cursed Queen near that was a bit excessive, anyway I still really like the jump and it's the first that made me do writefagging for more than one post because of how long my plans were.
>>94850775Thanks, man. I appreciate it.
>>94850730It's my job to be Devil's Advocate or else the entire thread would side against Shimazaki solely because he's fighting Gojo.>>94850755That would definitely stop Shimazaki from just giving him an aneurysm with remote telekinesis but it probably wouldn't stop the teleportation since that's not a direct effect. It occurs within Shimazaki himself, it's not an external technique.
>>94850729Uhh the American comic industry has been dead for years.Over 70% of the market share is held by Dog Man and manga. DC & Marvel have around 8% market share.

>>94850850Gojo definitely wins. The moment they see his beautiful blue eyes they'll simp and do whatever he says.
>>94850850Saitama EFFORTLESSLY BTFOs both of them.
>>94850857Probably not, the mcu is dead and warner bros is replying on figs like Gunn to save their cinematic universe. It's bleak

>>94850738>interconnectednessThis reminded me of something I found amusing. So you mentioned that Inanna took advantage of the loose companion rules of the Mesopotamian Mythology jump to sneak in. Only you also took the Post-Hellenistic Hellscape cosmology. Which means you might have accidentally invited her.Since according to Greek syncretic magic nonsense Ereshkigal is Hecate. Meanwhile other Greek and/or Roman stuff makes it so that Hecate is Diana. Who is Artemis. Who according to the Jump is Anahita. Who (also according to the jumpp) is and is not Ishtar. Who is Inanna.Meaning that your responsible Mesopotamian goddess friend and your reckless ambitious Mesopotamian goddess friend might actually be the same entity.
>>94850861Unironically yes. He's now become the "he's a gag character so he can beat anyone" meme but for real at this point in the manga.
>>94850857If they pull themselves out of the slump, then yes, but it's looking increasingly like they don't have people around anymore that are canny enough to recognize the problems and formidable enough to power through the unpopularity that would come from fixing those problems. They're probably both going to be dead inside of a decade.
>>94848014Would Gohanposter be an Enhancer since he's simple and determined about btfoing Gohan?
>>94850857Barring multiple MCU movies failing to break even in a row, I really doubt it. Too big to fail isn't an absolute rule, but it is a sure bet when it comes to massive multimedia companies with fingers in many pies and just as many investors interested in it not imploding. And even if technically the company does have to apply for bankruptcy, that's not necessarily the end. Technically WB and Discovery already went through a merger, not that it's exactly prevented them from ceasing the production of capeshit altogether. Someone will always be rich enough to want to acquire them if they smell blood in the water, and once they do someone will always bank on selling yet more capeshit over a new and innovative idea.>>94850873The main reason I figured it happened was more due to some complex mes kerfuffle in which Ishtar nicked some of young Eresh's back when they were both smol and that gave her some kind of divine right to come abroad, but also yeah that makes sense given it's about as much of a convoluted hellscape of gods just calling themselves new names and giggling as their domains and personality quirks change as the Egyptian mythology incident.
>>94850159They don't really add much of an advantage in most bodymod settings.
>>94850857With Disney, the movies flops aren't the real problem. The hidden rot is in their parks, which are not getting the proper attention for their profit share, and are taking downgrade after downgrade. The parks are also a hell of a lot harder to steer back in the right direction compared to movies, which really can be fixed with a sequence of good movies.
>>94850897I'm not real knowledgeable about the park side of things, but my understanding was that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel was in particular an unqualified disaster between glitchy apps and accommodation that was basically like military bunk beds. No idea how much they lost on it, but based on the scale it had to have hurt.
>>94850885I suppose so.
>>94850892Although if that does apply I'm assuming your Jumper would be confused for about a second before realizing "Oh wait this is like with Father. Only sisters instead of Father, Son, and whatever the Holy Spirit is. That makes sense."
>>94848612I read it as Impregnated Air Defense System and I was like. Zeus did it again.
>>94850904They replaced their single most recognized ride (Splash Mountain) with a Tiana ride that even the most ardent shills acknowledge is a straight downgrade (which "had to happen" cause politics). The ride is regularly down for maintenance. The most recent install was a gift shop for Haunted Mansion, which was made from a pre-fab shed, and decorated with AI art and stuff bought off Etsy - signaling the lack of money/talent left in Imagineering.
>>94850816I heard about this are you telling me this is fucking real
>>94850922Well they could always count on their slaves (Disney Adults) to help them out of the mess
>>94850922>They replaced their single most recognized ride (Splash Mountain)Whoa whoa whoa, when the fuck did they replace Splash Mountain? Shit, I know I haven't been to Disneyland in literal years, but you'd think I'd have heard of that.
>>94850857I haven't been paying too attention to that since my feed is filled with politics and news
>>94850904nta but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost hundreds of millions just on the hotel alone. It doesn't help that one of their senior exec's a few years back literally was recorded in a meeting talking about how they are introducing trans and lgbt stuff on purpose into their children's programming which pissed off a lot of people. Then there was that time that Disney thought it could wade into politics and try to force terms on the state of florida which, uh, didn't exactly go well for them.Actually that brings up a jumpchain related question I have, are there any perks out there that would help prevent your companies from having legal shenanigans targeted at them?
>>94850937Last year.
>>94850922>Tiana ridewho is Tiana?
>>94848419Eh, depends. Right now I'm kinda trying to run on a random pool of jumps that fit the chain three main themes, but I may also just directly jump into a setting I have just read about or if a new one just came out and it fits.
>>94850925Really happy to tell you it's real! Harley's getting a comic book about gassing people from her ass. There's rumours it's scratch n sniff but last I checked they weren't confirmed.
>>94850943Exactly. But the same politics that "forced" them to replace the ride pretty much forced them to pick her.
>>94850949Just going to go ahead and retreat back into my daydreams of a world of perfect stillness.
>>94850943The heroine from The Princess & the Frog. Which apparently isn't a bad movie, but I've never bothered to watch it to confirm that.
>>94850922>TianaHah! I posted so many racial slurs on 4chan I do in fact know about the Princess and the Frog and exactly who she is.
>>94850912Honestly my Jumper is just more disappointed at the lack of official syncretic action between the Mesopotamian pantheon and the Canaanite pantheon. And no, Ea=Yahweh because something something creator god something flood narrative isn't a strong enough link for me to justify it. Actually I think the most recent time in my chain to that build that I met Yahweh before he got all ineffable was in The Mummy of all things, because I went back in time into the deranged Scorpion King movies to investigate what the fuck was even going on with Anubis randomly taking away Imhotep's powers. And IIRC, if you go back far enough Yahweh is apparently involved.I was actually considering a demon god build at one point just to lean harder into the Venom of God shtick, but despite having some fairly early forms of monstergirls the jump has no demon companion option alas. >>94850922OH right, I vaguely remember the Tiana ride too. Wasn't there a massive amount of issues with the Avatar experience as well? I've never actually been to THE Disney Land and I'm assuming the one in HK is but a pale imitation already crippled by the CCP being overzealous in trying to censor homosexuals and skeletons. But yikes, RIP Splash Mountain.>>94850939Off the top of my head Bolstering the Boardwalk from Worm is really good for bullshit-proofing stuff you own. Three purchases of Amnesty in Tropico also lets you nullify all but the most heinous of acts with a sincere public apology.>>94850943The girl from The Princess and the Frog who isn't technically a princess until the very end of the movie where she marries Prince Naveen, and it doesn't seem to matter much to either of them anyway since instead of ruling anything they end the movie getting her restaurant working. >>94850955Shijima confirmed the best Nocturne Reason.
>>94850881My favorite part is when one of the short stories revealed that Saitama's power is always exponentially increasing but he's already so strong that he doesn't even notice. Like they created a simulated copy of Saitama but it was the Saitama that existed yesterday so the real Saitama of today killed him with a single non-serious punch.
>>94850957It's honestly a really good movie. Dr. Facilier HARD carries the entire thing, as usual for a Disney movie getting carried by its villains. But he's basically an evil voodoo wizard dude out to sell people's souls for power, which I can respect and like his hustle, even if his friends are really bad news.
>>94850941>>94850950That's fucking stupid. It's Splash Mountain. That shit's been around for...what, thirty something years? And it was always busy. Who the actual fuck thought this was a good idea?>>94850943Main gal from Princess and the Frog. She's a decent heroine, even if a lot of her character does boil down to 'sassy black woman defying the normal traits of a Disney princess'.
>>94850964The Stories Matter group, the cancer eating Disney from the inside.
>>94850959>The girl from The Princess and the Frog who isn't technically a princess until the very end of the movie where she marries Prince Naveen, and it doesn't seem to matter much to either of them anyway since instead of ruling anything they end the movie getting her restaurant working.I mean, Cinderella isn't a princess until the end of the movie either, when she marries the prince. She's the daughter of a rich merchant who married into nobility (step-mother) but wasn't noble herself.
>>94850963Can you name a Disney movie where the villain was less memorable than the antagonist? I can't. Maybe Sleeping Beauty if you count the dwarves but aside from that...
>>94850963>Dr. Facilier HARD carries the entire thingAnd yet is NOT part of the ride because they were scared people might get mad over the negative depiction of voodoo.
>>94850974Mulan. The hun villain was decently memorable, but Mulan and Mushu were compelling enough in their own right that they didn't get carried by him.
>>94850974>casting shade on fucking Maleficent of all villainsGo sit in the shame corner and think about what you just wrote.>>94850982Fair 'nuff, I haven't seen the ride, but I have seen the movie and I will die on the hill that it was a pretty good movie.
>>94850974>Sleeping Beauty>dwarves
>>94850974Sleeping Beauty was 1,000% hard carried by Maleficent. As indicated by the fact that pretty much every single piece of media involving it ever since has either starred or involved Maleficent in some way. Hell, even the original sequel book involved Maleficent coming back to life (because apparently she's on some Ichibe shit where all it takes to resurrect her is to say her name aloud a single time because she's an actual evil Faerie straight out of old European fairy tales) and proceeds to casually turn the entire kingdom to stone in anger at Prince Philip actually managing to kill her.
>>94850985>>94850986>>94850991Sorry I meant Snow White.
>>94850959Do you still desire sassy black women?
>>94850970True.>>94850974Sleeping Beauty was carried harder by Maleficent than Princess and the Frog was carried by Dr. Facilier. At least I remember Tiana turned into a frog. Most of Aurora's existence in the movie is being young and sheltered or unconscious.Still a less useless Disney Princess than Ariel.>>94850997Anything is preferable to watching soulless harpies turn into their mothers in real time.
>>94850974Pirates of the Caribbean. Nothing wrong with Barbossa, but he isn't Jack Sparrow.
>>94850963I always liked how Facilier, despite being the main villain of the movie, had plenty of moments where you got to see how deep in the shit he is. The way he has to bargain with his friends, his genuine terror anytime it looks like he might lose his last chance to repay his debt (I.e. when Laurence throws the pendant, right before the shadows bring back the prince with his own shadow trembling while he yells about being doomed, or how desperate he is to cut a deal with Tiana to save the pendant at the end), and that's not to mention his death. It really feels like how a conman in debt to a mob boss would act, trying to act smooth while all but shitting himself in terror at his debt being called in.>>94850974Leaving aside how the Dwarves were in Snow White, Maleficent is absolutely a memorable villain. Fuck the live action movies making her a dindu, cartoon Maleficent is great because she's such a fucking petty bitch. Didn't get invited to a birthday party? Fine, she'll curse the brat to die, which is devastating because the king and queen have been wishing for a child for years. Can't find the child to curse her? She'll vent her rage on her, admittedly idiotic, minions. Her curse of death has been changed to a curse of eternal sleep unless broken by True Love's Kiss? Even better, she'll imprison the Princess' true love, keep him until he's an old man, let him free to wake up Aurora, and watch her go mad as she sees her true love a withered old man, her mind and hope shattering.Maleficent is an amazing villain, and that's leaving aside the magic she displays or the dragon transformation.
>>94850984>MulanSpeaking of, does anyone else go to Disney Villains Victorious purely to pick up Bad End disney heroines?
>>94850974Any modern Disney movie. They barely even have villains.
>>94850974Black Cauldron
>>94851006The novelizations actually did a lot better job at portraying Maleficent not so much as a dindu as much as explaining why she's such a huge bitch. And also why she's so freakishly powerful. One of my favorite moments was when it was revealed that her evil magical power is so overwhelmingly vast that anything sensitive to magic can feel it coming from literal miles away. So when she went to talk to some fairies she actually stopped suppressing it because she didn't want them to freak the fuck out when fucking Maleficent was suddenly right on top of them. She just let them sweat it out, knowing exactly who was coming, since it gave her an advantage in the subsequent bargaining.
>>94851006>>94851025I was just about to bring up the novelisation as the SUPERIOR version of Maleficent's start of darkness, since it makes her a huge bitch with a sympathetic origin without going too far into "actually, Shelob was just trying to help Sam and Frodo all along" level absurdity. Disney really lost their actually competent creatives along the way.
>>94851020I don't think we can count modern ones, cause they aren't really memorable in the first place. WALL-E might be the last one that felt like it actually had any teeth, since mass death and post-apocalyptic dystopia were fundamental elements that didn't stay in the background.
>>94851000>Most of Aurora's existence in the movie is being young and sheltered or unconscious.Aurora doesn't really get a lot of screen time, but the best part of her original character is how she's completely uninterested in being a princess at first. In fact, if anything she's against it, because she wants to marry the handsome, charming peasant she just met, not some prince she was arranged to marry at birth. Of course, said peasant turns out to be the prince in disguise, but she didn't know that. Fuck, even he didn't know that, deciding he'd rather marry this charming peasant woman rather than the princess he's supposed to marry, not knowing said peasant woman is, in fact, the princess he's supposed to marry.>>94851025>>94851044Really? Interesting, I might have to give it a look. I like villains actually getting to be villains, especially classic villains like Maleficent.
>>94851006>Didn't get invited to a birthday party? There's a green text floating around that explains it better but this is a really huge deal. Leaving aside for a moment that failing to invite a person of significant power and influence from a celebration for the birth of a royal heir the King made the situation a million times worse by inviting the good fairies. If he hadn't invited any fairies then Maleficent might not have cared so much since that's just the King (probably wisely) not inviting supernatural elements to an otherwise mortal affair. But he didn't do that. Not only did he purposely fail to send an invite to Maleficent but he went out of his way to invite her opposite numbers in the form of the good fairies. That was a deliberate purposeful snub and insult levied directly at Maleficent by the king and he 100% should have not only known better but also should have known exactly how fucked he'd be when Maleficent eventually found out. By cultural standards of today it may seem like what Maleficent did was way out of line and done "for no reason" but by the cultural standards of the time and place the story is taking place in the King couldn't have insulted Maleficent any harder than he already had short of physically slapping her in the face.
>>94851000>Anything is preferable to watching soulless harpies turn into their mothers in real time.Fair enough.https://youtube.com/watch?v=6t4Idr4Xq-Q
>>94851044>"actually, Shelob was just trying to help Sam and Frodo all along" level absurdity.Wait, was that what the Shadow of Mordor games were actually going for with Shelob? Wouldn't literally anyone that had read the books or seen the movies know what a load of nonsense that was pretty much immediately?
>>94851000>At least I remember Tiana turned into a frog.I honestly remember Friends on the Other Side and its reprise a whole lot better than anything else in the movie.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g00kEcGh4j8https://youtu.be/aTqHbiE0vl8>>94851006I liked Facilier because his kind of evil was so very understandable. He was less the cackling supervillain and a lot more the guy who wanted power and stuck his foot in. That's more why he's so memorable to me.>>94851023You better not be dissing my brother in death Horned King.
>>94851068Technically Shelob is only in Shadow of War, but yeah
>>94851063>There's a green text floating aroundThis one?
>>94851059It's really good, I'd recommend it. Maleficent goes from a sympathetic girl who's struggling with her circumstances and everyone's prejudices against her to gradually overcoming them and growing into the villain she eventually becomes. And her backstory also neatly explains WHY she was so pissed off at not being invited to a random birthday party. Suffice to say that shit wasn't just her blowing a random gasket for no reason, there's a lot of snubbing and Fae politics that led up to that moment and Aurora was honestly just collateral damage rather than it being anything personal against her or even her parents.
>>94851068Shadow of War specifically, and it annoys the FUCK out of me because War was even more Tolkien than Mordor, down to how power corrupts and making an artifact of power to save Middle Earth (by enforcing your will upon it) will end in you being just as bad as Sauron... and then the only thing anyone ever remembers is Shelob thanks to a few whiny secondaries.
>>94851071>You better not be dissing my brother in death Horned King.I actually liked the books and read all of them as a kid, long before I saw the movie. I was just pointing out in response to that other anon's question that in the movie the Horned King is entirely forgettable. He doesn't show up iirc until right near the end only to get killed in the same scene. I don't even think he got any speaking lines.
>>94851006I remember reading actually a big long post about how that movie was a very Western fae story because of how Facilier acted and treated his "friends", down to calling them a euphemism that sounds exactly like what a person would call the local malevolent fae to avoid rousing their wrath.
>>94851073Yeah, that's the one.
>>94850959>Honestly my Jumper is just more disappointed at the lack of official syncretic action between the Mesopotamian pantheon and the Canaanite pantheon. And no, Ea=Yahweh because something something creator god something flood narrative isn't a strong enough link for me to justify it.Unfortunately in that cosmology Yahweh seems to have come down with a bad case of being Zeus. At least according to the Jump. Although to clarify I was thinking less in general and more Ereshkigal and Ishtar. Basically "How are these two sisters the same being when the three of us were friends?" and then realizing immediately after that it actually does make sense. Although the Trinity isn't the only comparison your Jumper could make. Just one of the ones with the fewest personalities.>no demon companion option alasTechnically Found Siblings covers that. The jump however does lack a create a companion option. Which I'm surprised wasn't noticed before.
>>94851063I simplified it immensely, but yes, not getting invited to an event like that was a major slap in the face of Maleficent, especially since it was a meeting of two separate kingdoms and their nobility. Even more so given how Maleficent might be nobility herself, given how the Queen refers to her as 'Your Excellency'. I think we all talked about this back when the Sleeping Beauty jump was being made, about how this combined with Maleficent referring to the Good Fairies as 'the rabble', even if that was just villainous gloating, was political shitstirring on a grand scale. Because it looked like a king deliberately setting the commoners of another kingdom against their nobility. Even if Maleficent wasn't an evil witch, it'd still be a risky move, because you're snubbing nobility, and nobles usually have armies and/or influence they can use to fuck you over.
>>94851063>>94851073>>94851090That's not very green.
>>94851105Anon probably just forgot it was a tumblr post instead of a greentext. That thing's gotta be at least a decade old at this point.
>>94851079In fairness Shelob being written into the role of a sexy dark femme fatale is kind of memorable, both in general and in regard to how hard it completely twists what Shelob is supposed to canonically be. It's kind of like Mass Effect 3 and how it was a great game right up until literally the ending which is the only thing anyone really remembers or talks about.
>>94850438>Or that one time, by a random leopard seal attackA Creature to Surpass Metal Gear
>>94851108The spiel is eleven years old.
>>94851103Snubbing Maleficent specifically is actually insane because Queen Maleficent is the faerie queen of the Unseelie. Like any of the Faeries would've fucked them over for not being invited but Maleficent is THE most overtly powerful and cruelest Faerie in existence by a very wide margin. She's the one who has not only the power and means but also the motivation to get back at you for slighting her like this.
>>94851079Look, that's what happens when you make Shelob the main questgiver/wise magical advisor-type character who enables the entire goddamn plot by being the reason why Talion can wage a shadow war against Sauron at all and, AND, has a ROMANCE shoehorned into her backstory with SAURON because modern writers can't seem to get enough of tyrant dick for some ineffable reason. I actually agree with you that it's more Tolkien than Mordor and it's "The (Noun)" sorcerer minibosses. The problem is even if you overlook the asian girl Ringwraiths, even if you overlook Galadriel employing a secret elven assassin who gets a redemption arc that she frankly does not deserve, and even if you overlook the low key flashbacks of Celebrimbor WILLINGLY helping Sauron dominating men into ringwraiths--comparing Shelob to Galadriel is a profound insult to Galadriel.
>>94851103>Evil witchWorse she's an evil fairy. Which means she should have the kind of reputation the fae had in real world beliefs about them. A.k.a. do not offend these things.
>>94851073>Maleficent didn't get invited because they didn't have one extra gold plate to serve her withLeaving aside the fact that there should absolutely be a hierarchy, because that's exactly what nobility is based on, wouldn't it have been better for one of the lesser nobles to not receive an invitation compared to fucking Maleficent? Some count from out in the boonies not getting an invite is a lot different from the extremely powerful and dangerous witch not getting an invite. He complains about it, you can just bullshit an excuse about 'oh, how sad, it seems you didn't get the invitation!' Compared to Maleficent teleporting in and deciding to get revenge directly once she confirmed, yes, she'd been deliberately left out and thus insulted.
>>94851134Galadriel cannot be insulted. Rings of Power rendered her defamation proof.
>>94851135Evil fairy with "all the powers of Hell", meaning she's not just a powerful figure in terms of the fae but she's made bargains with the underworld and successfully come away with appreciable power.
>>94850388>>94850394Yeah, this is 100% just New Hope the second. Kid on a desert planet, droid with critical information, gotta blow up the death star, even down to X-wings flying down the trench. Not terrible, I guess.
>>94851144That is true, Rings of Power tanked Galadriel's stock so hard that now comparing Shelob to Galadriel is an insult to Shelob instead. Sad!
>>94851079Notice how the people obsessed with Shelob conveniently forget that in SoM continuity, Celebrimbor stole the One Ring from Sauron right after it was forged and did a one-elf rebellion against Sauron, then forgot about how badly that attempt failed and nobody else remembered it until Talion ate Celebrimbor's ass over doing the exact same thing again.
Shadow of Mordor/War and Rangz of Powah are both AU fanfiction works of the Legendarium. However, the games are actually fun, while the show has absolutely nothing redeemable about it. So at the end of the day, the games are still decently likable.
>>94851166>ate Celebrimbor's assI really, really wish people would stop mistaking ass eating and ass chewing.
>>94851147The worst things you can really say about it is that Rey is hypercompetent at 2 more things than Luke was (she's a prodigal pilot as well as strong in the Force AND she can fend off armoured men with a stick AND she can magically fix spaceships by ripping out a random thing) and the misfortune that the movie heaped on the previous protagonists. But really, it was just an extremely safe movie loaded with a few classic JJ mystery boxes.>>94851166I didn't forget, it just does not change my contempt for Celebrimbor one whit after how in the Shadow Of continuity he also aided and abetted Sauron's domination of Middle Earth knowingly at the start.
>>94851180Correct. Also, as much as I will scream and howl about Shadow of War Shelob being a violation of the lore, I will also concede that she is hot.
>>94851181What's the difference?
>>94851182People would like 7 if 8 and 9 were decent to good. The sequels being trash retroactively makes 7 trash.
>>94851132It's telling how Maleficent displays magic that would let her just tear through King Stefan's army if she really felt like it. Forget her turning into a dragon, she's calling down lightning that can smash through some, creating fire, and hell, if the Good Fairies could turn Diablo to stone when their magic's not supposed to cause harm, why couldn't Maleficent's deliberately harmful magic to the same to humans? And again, King Stefan thought it was a good idea to snub her?
>>94851189If you chew someone's ass out, you roast them, usually for failure and/or incompetency, tell them to fuck off and call them a loser idiot. If you eat someone's ass, you literally, no metaphor, stick your tongue in their asshole for mutual sexual pleasure, and is mostly a homosexual male sex act.
>>94851079>>94851166Also hey. Both of you.Reminder that Isildur was turned into a ringwraith in the Shadow of continuity.
>>94851195Then what do we call the act of slicing someone's buttocks off, putting them onto a plate, seasoning them with salt and then consuming them with fork, knife and napkin stuffed into your shirt?
>>94851180The games being fun is 99% of why people defend it. See: The Force Unleashed. If those games weren't a fun power fantasy you'd bet we would be riding their ass.>>94851205And Helm Hammerhand. Honestly, Isildur was kind of logical in a depraved way, if you start with the assumption the Nine can bring back the dead, that the ringwraiths of the moves aren't the original ringwraiths =save the Witch-King and Sauron is a spiteful shit who'd nazgul his enemies (see; Celebrimbor). Helm makes no sense. Helm is just a what the fuck factor and his inclusion which honestly a really good story from the snippets we've seen just doesn't fit.
Wasn't someone working on a Shadow of War jump at some point?
>>94851207Making ass-jerky
>>94851191She actually does. In the original novel sequel to Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent is resurrected when her name is carelessly spoken aloud. It's revealed that Maleficent was actually being merciful when she cursed Aurora. But Prince Philip killing her caused her to become so outraged that she essentially declared war on King Stefan and his kingdom. And the very first thing she did was turn the entire kingdom to stone and bury in a forest of poisonous thorns like she did with King Stefan's castle in the original. It was only when the Faerie Queen herself stepped in, alongside Princess Aurora and Philip, that Maleficent was eventually defeated and pacified with the Faerie Queen putting a powerful enchantment that prevented Maleficent from ever meddling with their kingdom again. At least not without fighting her over it first.
>>94851214For the record I'm 100% happy to concede the games are fun and that makes up for a lot, what I object to is defending them lorewise in any way, shape or form. No, a basic bitch hero-to-villain corruption arc is not sufficient to posit that the goddamn meme eye of Sauron in the movie was actually a continuous struggle between Sauron and an elf ghost all along.
>>94850930Disney Adults are going extinct tho, they can't keep the brand alive for much longer.
The most lore-breaking thing in Shadow of War is still the fact that Sauron got to keep his dangerous twink form even after getting smote by Eru, somehow.
>>94851220>Maleficent is resurrected when her name is carelessly spoken aloudThis is referenced in KH2, when the crow brings her cloak to the Good Fairies to bait them into saying her name. KHUX retconned that in time travel though.

So you can justify literally every pantheon in Eurasia being present if you take a broad enough view.>>94850959>Honestly my Jumper is just more disappointed at the lack of official syncretic action between the Mesopotamian pantheon and the Canaanite pantheon. And no, Ea=Yahweh because something something creator god something flood narrative isn't a strong enough link for me to justify itWell, you have the Inanna = Ishtar = Athtart/Astarte syncretism, with associations with Anat and Baal. You also have Dagon, a Canaanite and Phonecian god who was accepted as one of the Great Gods by the Babylonians and Assyrians. And my recollection is that the Assyrians may have thought Yahweh was a regional variant of Adad? Uncertain on that last one.....oh, Enki/Ea also fought the dragon which serves as a forerunner to Tiamat, possibly Yam and Leviathan.
The most lorebreaking thing to me is that the text on the New Ring is gibberish in Tengwar. Mfers made a whole new poem for the games and couldn't put a scrap of that on the ring.
>>94851220>siding with the Summer Queen and absolutely, irrevocably pissing off the Winter QueenThis won't end poorly in the long haul, I'm certain. Absolutely no way, everything will be totally fine and we can all forget that this fiasco ever happened.

>>94851232Sauron's not a faggot, the tumblrinas just couldn't grasp the concept of an attractive man who was subservient to another man without a sexual connection. Because platonic loyalty, friendship, and bonds of shared principles are alien concepts to the alphabet people
>>94851243Being a man and being subservient to another man is gay.

>>94851241>>94851249IIRC it was written in the 60's or 70's I think. There was even a children's book sequel published later, I think.

>>94850922Yeah they slacked on Splash Mountain maintenance to have a reason to replace it (anyone can tell you it was having more and more problems from 2010 on), then completely ignored fixing the ride itself instead of just changing out the setting around it. Combined with the newer animatronics breaking down way more often and it's just a bad time.>>94850959The Avatar ride is honestly really bad now, a lot of burn in on screens, blurriness, and many other things just flat out don't work...and the ride is only 7 years old.Regarding other places, apparently Tokyo Disney still has a good Splash Mountain ride.
>>94851235The only group that seemed to out do the Greeks when it came to syncretism were the Egyptians, but even then the details were different. The Greeks went 'This is the silly foreign name for one of our gods'. While the Egyptians were apparently worshiping the god equivalent of LEGOs. Also this got missed, but the jump is missing an option for creating new companions, and after checking so does the Bronze Age Collapse one.
>>94851182I always did like the part where one of the directors claimed that there was no source material to base things off of and conveniently ignored like 30 years of novels to make the movie.Do we have jumps for each of the triologies? I don't remember if we have one for the prequels or og movies, but I think we might have two for the sequels? One jokingly shit and one mostly serious.
>>94851079Yeah Shadow of War besides that and the idiotic treacherous backstabbing blade of elf that got away with her evil actions was pretty good though I wish more things from Shadow of Mordor were in it. I think I remember someone was making either a scenario jumpdoc for shadow of war or just making one for the whole series as a whole story but I could just be remembering someone posting the Reddit jump for shadow of war and me mixing it up with that one guy who posted some mega elder scrolls jump he saw someone was making like Red’s black crusade but for the elder scrolls setting. I remember Cyrodiil had you fighting necromancers with a Minotaur paladin of Kyne, a ghost legion, a orc with magic fire tattoos, some redguard vampire lord of shadows who could pass you his lord vampirism, a crazy but polite Argonian Daemonhost of Daedra he was in complete control of to be a hist like thing, some Breton who learned to cast fist but with illusions and swordsmanship, a Savant necromancer simp for the Worm God and facing their leader to either be Arkay divine champion or become the God of Worms aka God of Necromancy just Steal Mannimarco Divinity from his bitch elf ass. There was also some beginning part of Skyrim about Dwemer automata and a dark elf but it wasn’t finished yet wonder how that mega project is going.
>>94851075Is it a novelization of the original movie or the new movies
>>94851275https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bzWfv8OCeoBkabD6BOSSgMXHEnVW_p5DTechnically, we kinda don't have one for the Prequel trilogy, only for the Clone Wars.
>>94851270>Tokyo Disney still has a good Splash Mountain rideAccording to insiders, there is behind the scenes fighting between Disney and the Japanese company that runs it (JP law doesn't let foreign owned companies control businesses directly like that), where the JP company wants to keep Splash Mountain because they like money, and Disney is pressuring to have it changed like the rest.
>>94851275We have one sequels jump, and it is basically a joke jump. It was Kathleen Kennedy who said that btw.

Natural Born Warrior- 600"Certain lineages pass down more than just history, grudges and good genes. The power of the sun, Hamon, comes to live in their blood between generations. Like the Zeppeli, or possibly the Joestarswith generous interpretations, your family has for generations now practiced and mastered theHamon arts. You hold not just an immense talent for learning the discipline yourself, making years ofprogress in startlingly short times even when limited to self tutelage, but also a naturally powerfulbody. With little exercise beyond a normal level, you could propel yourself high into the air from aseated position with a twitch of your legs or swing around enormous metal weapons that fewhumans could lift at all. Your endurance for strain and pain is incredible, capable of pushing throughhours of tortuously hard work. Actual relations to one of the two above families are possible, especially since it’s likely you share their broad and massive bodily frames. Going forward, yourtalent for quick learning and self teaching with Hamon will easily translate to other natural abilitiespassed down to you by your ancestors."Does Jujutsu Sorcery count as a "natural ability passed down to you by your ancestors" since it seems to be kinda genetic?

>>94851501The sad truth is that time stop is just weaker super speed somehow. Once speed gets to a high enough level it's just time stop AND time travel.
>>94851515The stronger the superspeed, the more likely you are to job.
>>94851515Eh that's just up to personal interpretation, in my mind true time stop trumps super speed.
>>94850432Does Shimazaki Ryo use his abilities in a way that would instantly kill someone? If not then Gojo would win.
>>94851534The thing is there's characters that are so fast they're just beyond the concept of time and so time stop doesn't affect them.
>>94851526It's always good to be in a situation where you think you can lose, that way you think about every way you could lose, and how you can win. Speedsters think they're soooooo cool with their super fine movements at extreme speed and being able to see the world in slow motion, and then they just completely neglect the masked dude sticking a foot out to trip them like this is some looney toons shit. There's no pressure. They're too focused, trapped in their tunnel vision. This is why rando assassins end up getting Superman with the kryptonite bullet when Superman could've just not got shot.

>>94851556The problem of going faster than light is that you can only live in darkness.
Reminder that viltrumites can casually go tens to hundreds of thousands of times FTL and their reaction speed canonically scales to that. The only reason they don't go that fast on planets is so they don't nuke them like Omni man did to those interdimensional aliens.

>Jump 1 Phantom Blood>Decide the lore is that due to my existence messing up fate Jonathan dies and I take the place of his life, making me the progenitor of the JoJo bloodline instead (without dying)How messed up is this conceptually?
>>94851697Depends on who you are, what you do and the mechanics of Jonathan dying.
Anime/Manga/LN/VN jumps where the male protagonist shows attraction to another male character? Whether that male character looks like a dude or a trap is of no consequence. The only two I can think of off the top of my head is Issei to Gasper from DxD, Naruto to Haku from Naruto and Hachiman to Saika from Oregairu. Bonus points if said protagonist is from a harem Anime/Manga/LN/VN.

There's business opportunities. Conflict Resolution will help control rowdy customers and infighting employees (once I get any). Herding Cats is ostensibly a harem perk, but Dog gave me the clear on using it on others as well so I'm gonna start selling fake love charms to couples while helping them along manually. Jitong is just a solid little booster for when I inevitably grab some more esoteric powers. I Need A Name For This Perk I'll be using for a spirit naming service I'll start running out of the store; unsure on pricing yet. Settle in the Wilderness is the land I'll be using to plant stuff with Sword Plant, so there's still a bit of reason to coming here. Also I'm gonna start selling porn out of the back. I think I'll place them under the flails, but I could also just place them next to the swords front and center like I originally planned. Not really sure on genre, but I figure it'll help with creating a more seedy vibe for the place.

Had a silly thought.Say that I take Lucy's consciousness just as she dies in the original Elfen Lied manga. Then revive her-body, soul and everything-in another world. Total fucking isekai plot. Complete with some king/queen/mages bowing to her and begging her to save their world. What would be a good setting to pull off this isekai bullshit?
