However this does not mean that math is the same in this dimension, math is modeled on our universe and it's laws, so the math here probably diverges at higher levels. Math, as you know it, isn't entirely applicable. You'd need to discover the mathematical principles of this world from scratch. On top of that mathmatics probably fundamentally follows the Godscript. In fact, I suspect the Godscript itself includes a form of mathmatics, as that's another facet of language. So it's the Godscript's version of math, whatever that is.

I wonder if people realize that the entire point of the Outsider System (aside from adding drama to the world) is to give you godhood practice. Playing matchmaker between parents, justifying why you fall in with mentors and companions, picking how you meet them, then choosing everyone's ultimate fates (and if you're clever enough, playing them off so they live through them.) Some of it is outside of your control and in the hands of Fate and Chance, but all this is ultimately teaching you how to write stories where being a writer is being a god. So because of this, those that setup compelling interactions with all the System's mechanics and create an interesting story (and not just a minmax hell, though being strong isn't making a bad story, look at Aat) aren't just earning the favor of their tutors (who'll be likely to reward them in various ways,) but massively accelerating their own development as gods. The key to a true Ascent in your lifetime isn't just exploiting the System in some way, it's engaging with it honestly and embracing the role of a writer.
