I managed to pull off a UAC20 double tap and I will never get that dopamine rush again. I think most people see it go poorly once and dont even bother after that. I also think most people's bad experiences come from MegaMek because I haven't played a game in years where we didnt have a house rule for clearing UAC jams.
>>96872967I happened to be on the receiving end of that on time. Had the double-HAG Mad Cat Mk II raining shots all over the enemy force for most of the game and I eventually moved it up to finish off a wounded Gargoyle C when it let loose with the UAC-20. Both shells and an ER medium went straight into my left leg, snapped it clean off. Huge swing in favor of the enemy team, but I eventually managed to pull out a close win anyway.
>>96872997Some doofus found this mech buried under rubble. The main issue its just the structure only and he only has enough cash to to fit an ICE engine into it as well as plaster some Industrial armor to cover the mech. >>96871730>it feels like its edging more towards being a card game more than anything?...Yes. I mean, I think that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it does get the feeling across. >>96875426You'd have to scan the rulebook, I think. Not sure they even have a PDF for it. The game rules are the same as AGoAC, but with a couple more weapons (Blazers, Light Blazers, hatchet), a section for Abomination rules, and a mini TRO for the new variants snd abominations.

Is there a way to remove waterslide decals from mechs? I switched from Defiance Industries to FPG decals and the FPG ones are so much better it’s unreal; I had to add a white background to the DI ones (see left Omen in pic) because otherwise they’d just completely blend in but the FPG ones have white backing and are also cheaper so there’s literally no reason not to go with those. Now my autism demands I match my other 40+ Snow Raven mechs with these new decals, and I really don’t want to print and paint them all over again.
>>968758043m has a much fatter toob. And the opposite torso gets a laser nipple.
>>96876124You are fucked if you sealed them. If not, you can add some decal softener, i.e. white vinegar/acetic acid.
>>96876124You can find guides online.Basically you hold a wet, slightly soapy sponge up against the decal for a while (10 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the decal). After you remove the decal, you might have to repeat a couple times to get all of the residue off.You can also use alcohol or acetone, but that will damage your paint job.

>>96876166If you sealed them, I can't guarantee my way with work either. In that case, your best bet would be to very very carefully use a q tip dipped in acetone to try and clear away the sealant first and hope you don't damage the paint job too much.

>>96877720>Article V explicitly disavowed combat in cities - unless a military target was within the city - and against civilian targets.
>>96877720>firing battleship-grade weapons>in a cityThe Videya take pains to not properly model the property damage that would cause. Never mind that streets ect are scaled up to make playing city maps fun. If you'd keep things at car scale, the game would turn into a SWAT simulator.
>>96877720The BattleTech equivalent of the Geneva Conventions is called the Ares Conventions.Article V generally prohibits combat in cities. The major powers of the setting by and large abided by the Ares Conventions for nearly 400 years and they are associated with the setting’s golden age and their demise is associated with the end of that golden age. This is just to give you a sense that in BattleTech, fighting in cities is at least morally if not legally a kind of war crime.
>>96877651Drop pods are a thing and can be dropped from atmosphere but use is rare cause because in scenarios where it is used its a SHTF type stuff.Civilian shelters do exist but typically fights inside cities that have not been evacuated before hand are super rare by late succession wars.
>>96877720High altitude insertion or "Hot drops" are common often necessary in the opening phase of an invasion before landing zones for dropships are secure or the terrain makes landing impossible. Every mech bay is said to contain equipment and resources necessary to perform such a drop.Of course landing a dropship and walking out of it is preferable since hot dropped mechs can get damaged during landing or overshoot the drop zone entirely and miss the battle.
>>96877720In addition to what has already been said, battlemechs don't drop in hard shells like shown in HBS BT game. The pod or cocoon falls apart before landing and the mech is free to shoot before it hits the ground.Final deceleration is made either by the mechs own jumpjets or by a single use jump pack that is discarded after landing.
>>96877437>7/11 at 40 tons is a shitty choice. The armament is shitty and inconsistent, and most of the upgrades keep that theme going. The theme of shit loadouts is the problem. Purely from a collateral perspective of course. Also, how deadly is urban mech combat for civs? I'm only reading what's easily available from google search, but I read that enlisted infantry is basically street samurai tier levels of augmentation. IIRC The shadow of kerensky dlc have the clanners raging at the inner sphere factions because they have committed to total war against the clanners and they're being forced to fight in population centers where they get ukraine'd because some houses are arming civs.
>>96877299>the robotech minis were made of dogshit resin and unsuitable for playEh, they're fine.
>>96877866>but I read that enlisted infantry is basically street samurai tier levels of augmentationAbsolutely not. Any significant augmentation is the kind of thing you would only see for special forces and the like. The only major user of augmented infantry was the Word of Blake, and even then that was just in the Shadow Divisions which were their fanatical elite.
>>96877720BattleMechs try to avoid urban warfare because they become very vulnerable to fucking infantry.
>>96877866>enlisted infantry is basically street samurai tier levels of augmentation.Naw. Augmention is mostly only for extremely special forces. PBIs are just normal dudes with guns.Clanners have a tendency to completely wreck cities they fight in. Even the Wolves do such a number on Rasalhague's capital city that an entire neighborhood is written off.
>>96877866>Does that mean that civvies living in Battletech land can actually sue someone and receive compensation if a robot stomps on their car? Technically yes but good luck getting the license and reg of that mech. There has been compensation paid out though in past for collateral damage.>I'm assuming the drop animation is just used by default for urban stages. I doubt drop cocoons are something an outfit in drowning in debt could afford.Generally it would be used by a major military performing a planetary invasion, so a Great House over a mercenary unless said mercs were be subsidized by the Houses to do such an operation.>Do shelters actually work against mechs? Purely from a collateral perspective of course. They are often resistant against nukes but doesn't mean they'll stand up to bombardment. Some are so old and badly maintained that whenever civs do take shelter in them they end up trapped and suffocating to death.>I read that enlisted infantry is basically street samurai tier levels of augmentation. That's Jihad levels of tech for most part and not really for basic infantry. Even still, infantry in built up areas is not something you want to fuck with even in a 10m+ 100 ton mech. If you are in a situation where you are fighting infantry in built up areas you a) fucked up and b) are in for a bloodbath.
How exaggerated is the internal space of the Leopard depicted in the MW5?
>>96878158It manages to be both larger and smaller than what it should be.
Post spooky mechs!
>>96878290
Making a custom mech for my club event (one per person, up to ilClan), want to do a real fast jumper that's reminiscent of LAMs and got 12 tons and 5 critical slots left after all the jump jets and partial wing installed. Tips? Don't want to overdo it with a pulse boat but I'm thinking about putting at least a LPL or a snubnose PPC into the CT (I love chest beam cannons) or taking the risk and storing the ammo there and and filling out the other slots with machine guns.
>>968774377/11 at 40 tons is the optimal choice, the problem is none of the variants are "Jenner-D with armor"

>>96878710Valkyrie and Javelin are traditional Fedsuns light mechs that are heavily associated with them. They obviously have the 20-tonner trio everybody uses, and likely a decent amount of salvaged Drac Panthers and Jenners as well. >>96877779The golden age actually kicked off by discarding the Ares Conventions. Only the FWL and sort of kind of Canopus (only because they were facing the FWL and didn't want to be on the ass end of an Ares-free FWL invasion) kept abiding by them during the Reunification War.
>>96879084That was a war where a spanking was involved. Literally.
>>96879069>Anyone playing the battletech this weekend?I thought I might end up participating in a Mini-Con Spooky Battletech event, but it turns out we're having a big family thing that day.>>96879076>You could get a few chapters about ploughing and planting seeds alone!...Are we talking innuendo or actual farming?Because the former will run thin real quick while the latter will take some serious world building to fill out several chapters.
I've got to wonder about the 1st SLDF's Operation EXODUS: was Alexander Kerensky familiar with both the Axumite Providence and the Union of Samoyed Colonies? How much would have changed had he opted to take those in the SLDF willing to follow him in their Exodus to the aforementioned nation-states instead of being vague about where they were to go?
>>96878942>Are Leopards just crappy TARDIS?Kind of. They're basically a box with wings. PGI's version gives a bit too much internal volume to the mechbays but then their mech models are legit too big anyway to begin which also fucks with scaling. The reason why it is also undersized is that PGI forgot that the very front two bays are for aerospace fighters and their design doesn't really take into account space for them. Even if most Leopards repurpose this section for cargo in fluff there is no visual indicator of there ever having being space for these in its interior model.See pic related and count the doors to get an idea why PGI model is wrong.>>96879100>...Are we talking innuendo or actual farming?Considering the audience I'd expect nothing short of a full detailed chapters describing the full ins and out of farming using Succession War era industrial mechs. Frankly I think a Battletech farming book would be comfy.
>>96878935Comstar is going to destroy the pirates. Just look at the tech advantage, don't even have to look at the BV.

>>96879307First of, would the Great Houser Fiefdoms/Successor States even bother pursuing the Pro-Exodus SLDF faction there, and second, if Kerensky wanted to prepare for the distant possibility of rebuilding the Star League, wouldn't using the Axumite and Samoyed governments as a nucleus have been better?
>>96877720I assume all the cars are abandoned, since you never see them move.
>>96879318They also have two Vedettes and a Goblin in slots that could have been mechs.
>>96876010You know, I'm surprised they haven't done a 1S in the new line of minis yet. There's the regular, the Royal with the dual missile drums and for some reason the obscure Marik version with the tiny laser on the left side of its chest.
>>96879323The Auxumite and Samoyed (especially Samoyed) governments aren't exactly bastions of star league ideals and searching for the exodus is a pastime of many. They'll be found by the inner sphere probably within a year of arriving, if not when they break out into a civil war and all the people who wanted to go back but had no hope of doing so out in the clan worlds... just go back, it's right there.
>>96879184That slit above the front landing gear in the official art could be a hangar door for a fighter, though it looks a bit small.
>>96879385In front of the landing gear, I mean.
>>96877426>Writing about a nation thats full Matriarch who probably sneers at Trans Women for being fake women.IDK men seems weird.
>>96879084The powers had abided by the Ares Conventions for over a century and a half before Star League disregarded them to stamp its boot on Periphery necks. I think it’s important to remember that the Star League amounts to a golden age in contrast to the Succession Wars — in other words, in the minds of the Great Houses and ComStar. For the Peeiphery? Yeah, not so much.
>>96879385>>96879391Could be but the interior nor 3D model matches that. That front bit is a thruster. and the space taken up inside would mean that even your average Taurian would struggle to squeeze in those gaps.
>>96879541The late age of war wasn't a golden age by any metric. It was basically another slump like the late succ, but without the loss of technology. It was safer for civilians, but they weren't advancing in any meaningful ways.
>>96879368Okay, if not the Axumites and Samoyeds, why not the Jarnfolk governments and whatever government is in Alfirk? Like I asked, would the Great House Fiefdoms/Successor States still pursue the Pro-Exodus SLDF faction there? Also, on setting shop there, surely Kerensky could have cut a deal with those in Alfirk and in the Jarnfolk worlds where in exchange for whatever they need, Kerensky would have to not only offer security but also compliance to local laws in that part of space (after all, did he not launch the Exodus because he didn't want to turn on the Great Houses)?
>>96878935>You missed the cutoff for Ghosts unfortunately.Make me a pirate then laddy.
>>96879643The Jarnfolk are less than 3 months away from the Dracs. It takes over a year to reach the clan homeworlds. Too close. Also, there's a pretty decent chance the exodus completely outnumbers them. Kerensky does not need dinky little pre-hegemony primitive space governments that have never even heard of the star league, and the last thing he wants is to have to occupy another periphery realm full of wacky insurgents who don't appreciate being descended upon by a foreign military like locusts. Doing it within spitting distance of the Inner Sphere is doubly bad.
Too bad Kerensky and the Exodus didn't stumble upon the Tanite worlds.
>>96879810The Jarnfolk in particular would be a nightmare to occupy. They're all armed with high quality weapons and culturally they're willing to kill over relatively minor slights. Occupying them would be a long series of officers and patrol leaders being sniped in the back of the head from down the block every time they step out in public because the so and so family have declared a blood fued with the entire SLDF after their uncle was shot dead trying to reach Kerensky for an honor duel.
>>96879184>Considering the audience I'd expect nothing short of a full detailed chapters describing the full ins and out of farming using Succession War era industrial mechs. Frankly I think a Battletech farming book would be comfy.Wholeheartedly agree, I'm honestly disappointed that the best FarmTech gives us is "Combine Head," like, what KIND of Combine Head?!There are special types for specific crops, and that's only the harvesting part of a Combine's jobs!Plus that's for row crops, which are usually happiest on broad plains you don't really need legs for.How can I design my fake Clan of busty Lesbians when I can't think of a reason they'd need Omnimechs for Farm and Battle?!
>>96879971That kind.
>>96880002That thing is exactly like a modern combine, but worse because of the legs being spaced wider than the pickup header.
>>96877866A small laser will probably cut straight through your MacMansion and an Autocannon going off in your street's going to shatter half the windows in the block.Your car's your least concern.
>>96879971Are you the same 'complaining about detasseling anon' or do we just have a lot of farmers ITT?
>>96878942>...Are Leopards just crappy TARDIS?All internal space in BT is hammer space.
>>96880106Star league physicists discovered that you can simply divide the cube root of the area by a star league ton and the waveform collapses so you only have to worry about mass. Outside observers may be baffled by your ability to fit a ton of feathers and a ton of bricks in the same space without even involving such primitive concepts as "compression" or "surface area", but that's just because they're using outdated physics.
>>96879810>>96879963So fucking cringe. These super special snowflakes would be the ones getting put down with mechs or outright orbital bombardment if the clans or dracs wanted them gone. Neither of them are very squeamish about racking up war crimes as a hobby.
>>96880002>>96880018>That thing is exactly like a modern combine, but worse because of the legs being spaced wider than the pickup header.Yeah, the only actual improvement is those presumably collapsible containers, and even that is suspect due to being filled with what looks like a blower hose and being way too close together for their volume...>>96880099>Are you the same 'complaining about detasseling anon'I mean I am...>or do we just have a lot of farmers ITT?But we have at least two or three other Farm Anons.
>>96880164We're talking about the SLDF-in-exile trying to find a place to stop. Kerensky is in no condition to occupy yet another periphery shithole. His troops would probably mutiny over the idea.
>>96880164>people who only have dropships, jumpships, and infantry weapons would lose to orbital bombardmentsWow, I never thought of it that way! You're so smart.
The clans would probably enjoy trying to occupy the Jarnfolk. They're down to clown with honor duels and highly stratified social norms. They might get a little annoyed that they're constantly bidding down to "1v1 pistols from ten paces", but at least they're not wandering into ambushes and dropships packed with high explosives.

>>96879445I think officially they're "transmed", where they'll recognize trans people as their preferred gender once they're far enough along with hormones and surgery, but in practice that's never enough for some feminists, innit?
>>96880525My main concern with the whole thing is that an underclass merely claiming they're actually part of the upper class has never mattered anywhere or anywhen else. There's social and legal power on the line, and if the line was that weak, it wouldn't exist in the first place.
>>96879545Based on the interior in MW5 there could be room for a separate fighter bay inside the prow, although I don't see how that would open. Maybe a hatch on the bottom, though not being able to get them in and out on the ground seems a bit silly.
>>96880535>Mutilate your genitals for a chance at a top leadership position you'd probably face a huge amount of opposition for and likely never be fully accepted even if you somehow got inHonestly, I think it fits about right, all things considered.
>>96880552One of the many downsides of the Leopard is that the only internal access between bays is a human sized door, so you'd never see the ASF or general cargo stuff when standing in the mech bay. The only way to transfer large parts or units between bays is to spacewalk.
>>96879545BUILT FOR DAVIONS.A lot of Davions, holy shit, why are there so many Davions in there?

>>96872686Davions are French
>>96877720>>96877744>>96877779in the original books they fight in cities anyway
>>96880849The Ares Conventions haven't been observed by anyone in living memory by the time of those books. It's an ideal that they all say they wish they still followed, but it was killed to kick off the Reunification Wars and never brought back. Sometimes its rules are still observed, but it's always strictly voluntary because nobody is bound to it.
>>96880841Considering that they keep stealing mech factories, they clearly got the spirit of the British Museum in their blood.
>>96880525>I think officially they're "transmed", where they'll recognize trans people as their preferred gender once they're far enough along with hormones and surgery, but in practice that's never enough for some feminists, innit?Yeah, at the very least this stands as a point of pride in Canopian Medical Tech that they can make you a completely functional member of the opposite gender, but that wouldn't stop political mudslinging.
>>96881048>Yeah, at the very least this stands as a point of pride in Canopian Medical Tech that they can make you a completely functional member of the opposite gender, but that wouldn't stop political mudslinging.Do they really have that tech? It sounds too advanced for a setting like Battletech.
>>96881123>Do they really have that tech? It sounds too advanced for a setting like Battletech. The Clans developed Iron Wombs, the technology to grow fetuses entirely in-vitro.Cloning and grafting a functional womb into a body isn't far off from that.
>>96881123They've consistently had the best medical tech (at least as good as the best anywhere else) and genetic engineering and cybernetics are old tech. The star league was creating populations with altered biology to survive alien worlds. Even the diminished tech of the late succession wars still had average people living a good ten+ years longer than modern medicine does. With a big enough budget, you can go a long, long way. False Thomas passed invasive biometric comparisons to Real Thomas.
>>96881167>False Thomas passed invasive biometric comparisons to Real Thomas.Hell that's actually more impressive, as it implies they replaced False Thomas genes with Real Thomas'!
>>96881196Actually, it's never clear which Thomas is involved with what where, so it might have just been actual Thomas when they did the genetic test. But nobody ever caught on to False Thomas at all. He came clean on his own after decades of being Thomas. Also it could be as simple as Comstar intercepting and replacing the samples or results from the lab, they were all-in on the deception.
>>96881167The caveat on big budgets is that the only two kinds of big budgets we ever see are either the government backing on a grand scale (star league colonists, clan trueborn, Canopian showgirl industry), or blank check black ops with operators operating operationally in environments where you either win or die.
>>96877426>Forcing everyone to write about the MOC is a total shit takeHonestly, I have to agree. It's trying too hard. >>96881167>The star league was creating populations with altered biology to survive alien worlds. There's a difference between continuous minor alterations of existing people over generations or large scale modifications of embryos and actually turning a man into a woman with everything that entails. Your talking about making massive changes to numerous organs and changes to the muscular system and skeleton structure in addition to adding entirely new organs, not replacing existing or missing ones like a lost eye, such as the vagina, womb, etc. If they can do that then they should also have the capabilites to be making scifi super soldiers or having the nobility and other wealthy elites spending thier money becoming super humans.

>>96882203>>96882203There's conditions that cause XY people to develop as women. Mutations in the proteins that detect androgens ("male hormones") cause a spectrum of disorders ranging from slightly androgynous men to being fully female in every way but genetically, with the primary differences from XX women being reduced body hair and irregular periods. Oh, and they have testicles instead of ovaries, but they're internal. In the modern day, women normally learn that they're XY when they have trouble conceiving and see a fertility specialist, or if an abdominal or pelvic ultrasound for something else picks up their testicles for some reason.Fun fact: because they still make testosterone but never use it, it all gets converted to estrogen so they tend to have larger breasts, fuller hips, and softer skin. Also they tend to be a little taller and longer-limbed than average, and have reduced body hair...What I'm saying is that they tend to be hot.

>>96882147>But that's just a matter of Criteria, BattleTech and the REAL WORLD have XY "biological" females. Those still largely develop as female from the womb on. Turning a 25 year old man into a woman involves changing his DNA, changing his entire existing skeletal structure into that of a woman, changing his muscular system to both fit the new skeletal structure and to reflect being female, changing all his internal organs to both fit the new body but also change them into the female versions when necessary, and growing then attaching fully functional female sexual organs to a body that has never possessed them. That shit sounds beyond what Battletech science can do. What's funny is that Gothic would probably have this tech but not mainline Battletech.

>>96883774>Because I could totally see all that being done with modified Iron Womb technology, and even just preserved Star League Medical Knowledge could probably make a functional sex organ transplant take. There's a difference between growing a transplant organ to replace a missing or damaged organ the body already had and growing an entirely new organ and grafting it to a body and expecting the body to perfectly accept it. >>96884660Its was a quiet morning after spending a night trick or treating and the Ghoul Pirates are busy dividing up the loot from the night before. They had spent the night plundering locals and even managed to steal from this guy in weird robes claiming that if they did not stop then they would face Blake's judgement! They had laughed and left him naked tied to a tree. Suddenly though they detect some sensor contacts and scramble to their vehicles, they are not giving off any IFF markers they don't seem to recognize the colors. They seem to be like a bunch of Ghosts come to fight over their loot! The fools, clearly nobody around here has got the firepower to match them?Things are already off to a swimming start for the Ghosts as "Wiffle" manages to jump into a bog and get stuck. This amuses the pirates but they struggle to get a lock or even ID on what sort of mech he has, but it does appear to be some sort of Griffin? Both sides start to trade LRM fire with no success. Vadim does get a surprise though when a PPC blasts past his cockpit from the stuck Griffin as he has never seen a PPC with that sort of range before!
>>96884709"Wiffle" gets his Griffin unstuck and its the turn of the Ghouls to have a unit get trapped in a bog, this time a Mr Donald Butler Holdfast. Vadim thinks the enemy are less than he thinks so charges on ahead only to encounter 5 mechs including a second Griffin. He gets focused down by all these Ghost mechs with his armor support trailing behind unable to assist. His armor is holding for now but he won't be surviving for long if he can't pull out and the hit he scored with his AC/5 is not going to be enough punch.Mr Holdfast is suffering for being stuck having been pounded by missile fire and now what is looking like a Mercury is closing in fast to try and destroy his legs. Most of his allies were too busy shooting and missing the Ghostly Hunchback and those that did try to intercept the Mercury cannot hit it as it was going too fast for them. He can try and squeeze a few shots off but he is helpless and his armor is being stripped fast.

>>96884763Round 3 now and things picking up.Ghost lights are charging in and they're out for blood. Snakebeard does manage to score a laser hit to the CT but it fails to succeed in a crit. Rest of the Ghouls try to engage the lights charging them but are mostly ineffective. Mr Holdfast does at least manage to break his Wasp free and escape the rush of light mechs coming right towards him.In the West Vadim is being surrounded and his mech being pounded to bits. He is screaming for help but he's getting jammed only narrowly being able to prevent his mech from falling over.

>>96884842Dave finally arrives in time to see Vadim's Shadow Hawk being torn to bits by the Ghostly mechs, only to see him finally eject as he can see a clear ammo detonation on the doomed Shadow Hawk. “Mystic” is the one that claims this kill.Elsewhere it isn't going so good for the Ghouls with ‘Foggy’ being stunned by missile fire from Khamsin, "Mad" having to keep his Centurion upright after being swarmed by lights and Mr Holdfast has lost a good chunk of structure in his RA."Honey" does at least manage to use the disabled Vedette of their now deceased comrade as cover and squeeze a cheeky shot at the white Dervish. The rest of the Ghouls also try to focus the strange light mech that is squeezing off a lot of firepower and for a moment it looks like it would fall over but it seems to be tanking their combined firepower. For the Ghosts it has been a strong start. Two enemies already dead, others losing armor. Wilbur Redenbacher is laughing inside their Talon as they absorb fire that would cripple a lot of heavier designs and can only think what the pirates are thinking as they continue to blast away with lasers and PPC with no fear of heat buildup. So we literally have got zombies on our hands.
>>96884578>I'm honestly here hoping the entire thing crashes and burns so I can get Civil War and Jihad era plastics.Which are coming. I don’t why people keep thinking Gothic took a massive amount of resources away from the other stuff.

>>96885207It did and it does. Logistics, development time, moulds. When they tell you it didn't they're simply lying to you. Gothic almost certainly did force a year or more of delay on the theoretical releases, and all for a meme stolen from 40k. The only positive I can see is probably "lighter" rules for Protomechs adapted from Abominations. In all regards, a waste of time and resources for everyone.
>>96885405Willie Snakebeard starts backing away as he sees the hoard of white mechs coming over the hill and screaming into his comms that "Swamp Hag" should ignore the strange light mech and run but she can't hear him over the jamming. As a result she focuses down destroying the Talon trapping Wilbur Redenbacher inside only to see Bone-biter's Warhammer suddenly explode as a small laser hit from the Falcon blows up its ammo sending him ejecting and turning to see a wall of laser, PPC and SRM fire collide into the side of her Zeus causing it to fall to the ground.
>>96885448Round 11 and I think its safe to say the Ghouls are fucked. Going to stop reporting on the fled/dead as almost over."Swamp Hag" manages to get her Zeus upright and decides that they are going to fight it out charging towards the Ghost mechs which surround her, blasting and kicking her Zeus to bits. Despite gyro hits and taking considerable damage she manages to keep it upright.Willie Snakebeard decides he doesn't want to live forever so runs in to try and help.
>>96885480Round 12 and despite being pursued by what can only be described as a ghostly gang rape squad, Snakebeard manages to get the better of this fighting retreat even scoring a direct hit with an AC/2 to the head of the Falcon but to no effect.

>>96885552In case people want logs:Entity Status - https://files.catbox.moe/oqffdl.txtGame Log - https://files.catbox.moe/7pznel.txtGhosts MVP - KTO-19 Kintaro Logan Carmichael.Their charge in that Kintaro caught the Ghouls off guard and basically crippled their team. That double engine CT hit effectively removed the Warhammer from the game.Ghosts Tank - TLN-5V Talon Wilbur RedenbacherHe decided that a Talon can be an assault mech and ran in to take a beating as the Ghouls wasted a lot of time focusing him down.Ghosts Least Valuable Player - WVE-5N Wyvern Max "Jumpman" Hassan didn't really do much this entire game.Other Ghost mentions - The lights did insanely well here. They baited the entire Ghouls forward and kept pressure up. They went in knowing their side was outnumber on this flank and won it.Ghouls MVP - ZEU-6S Zeus Beatrice "Swamp Hag" Moreau Used their Zeus when needed to focus down and take down high value targets. This was a tight run thing as I feel quite a few contenders were here including "Bones" and 'Mad' Bob Cutler.Ghouls Tank - Manticore DaveOn surface didn't appear to do much. In reality kept the Ghosts occupied for a few turns buying time for his team on the other side. If he hadn't done that this would have been over a lot quicker.Ghouls Least Valuable Player - SHD-2H Shadow Hawk Dread Pirate Vadim of New VladivostokAside from his suicide charge which he couldn't really be blamed for as it was playing with double blind rules here, he really didn't do anything wrong. Just was on the least useful on the team.Other Ghoul mentions - Overall I think the Ghouls were just really unlucky here in the rolls and did as best as they could despite their circumstances. Their Warhammer getting effectively knocked out early on and running into two Griffin 2N's on a single flank was a bad shock. If I was to rerun this I doubt they'd have lost as bad. Also vehicles suck more than people realize.
