The idea is:Plan A: Approach of the Second Sun + Scrying with Siani (or the various draw effects)Plan B: Fly people to deathI really like the flying hate-creatures, so I may have gone overboard on them. I also have a lot of flying monks and Ojutai, because this started off as a flying monk theme deck. Rune-tail is a pet card of mine, but I think it vibes well with the attacking-for-scrying idea, and with the vigilance enablers helps keep me from getting beat down too hard.I always suck massive ass on gauging how many mana rocks I need, and how much removal/interaction I'm packing. Thinking about building this guy and focusing on spamming his ability as much as possible. The attack trigger is nice, but it's only once per turn and it's also not guaranteed that he'll be able to attack on every board state, so i'm thinking about other ways to generate mana to dump into him. Obviously there's stuff like firebending and creating treasures, and there are some other things like heartstone to reduce the cost, thran turbine and braid of fire to generate mana on upkeep. Anything other ideas?

Here are my reviews of Avatar commanders after a night of playtesting decks on TTS with friends>Gruul TophVery fun and would probably be a great landfall commander. I built her as more of a beat down/counters style deck. Famished Worldsire is stupid with earthbending provided you have something that let's lands enter untapped. 10/10 my favorite of the batch.>Bant KataraPretty generic trigger doubler but allies are a fun tribe and Avatar added a lot of fun ones. Don't play if you struggle to remember triggers. 8/10 cool deck.>5c AangI built this as an all Avatar cards theme deck for a friend. Aang as a card is very strong and when he flipped I felt like a God. Won after making infinite tokens with Appa which I didnt even realize you could do until I did it. 8/10 that goes up to 10/10 if you are a big fan of the show (I've never seen it)>Sokka and his gfGiving every equipment for mirrodin/living weapon/job select is pretty cool and the fact they're allies is even better.
