1st post for the Anarchs!!! ANARCHS RULE!!!!
>>97461170so at what point does the Vampire at the center of the cult betray them?
>>97461252>Where was your last chronicle set, and how did the locale play a part in it?A fictitious city which was inspired by an old video game called Twisted Metal Black and was located on the Pacific coast roughly where Bellingham, WA is located in the real world. The dreary ambiance was very fitting; the dreary weather was very helpful for the local vampires.
Reposting:Here is an idea for a session or two i wanna get some feedback on:The society of Leopold is unusually active in a city, they speak of their agents going missing systematically and are focusing their efforts, the local prince hasn't heard anything about this and is worried there's a new player in town trying to stake a claim.Turns out there is. The convent the hunters operate out of is compromised and is at this point fully a bahari cult. They're okay with cainite vampires being hunted and so remain outwardly supportive of St. Leopold, but anyone who begins to figure it out is disposed of.Revealing this truth, making a deal with the vampire at the center of the cult, or killing everyone involved with the society of Leopold are all planned "solutions" that I have some ideas for how to follow up on.>>97461344Betray the cult or betray the players? The first I hadn't planned on, the second only if I end up doing a sabbat thing I've been cooking up but haven't pulled the trigger on yet.>>97461284>Do you have something in mind for how the Bahari takeover happened? Not anything concrete. I have the basic idea that tge nunnery keeps some artefacts for the society of leopold and one of these is a bahari text of some kind, which ends up influencing some of the novices. But I don't have much beyond that
Have you ever taken inspiration from non-Western media for your games, /tg/?
>as full of life as she was in her primeWould it turn a vampire into a living human? Can you use it on Caine?
>>97461440Sure, when it feels appropriately bleak for World of Darkness.
>>97461440>Have you ever taken inspiration from non-Western media for your games, /tg/?The only instance I can think of is my ST describing a sluagh NPC as looking "kinda like the girl from The Grudge".
>tfw Toreador with Malk bf
>>97461412I meant betray the players. It just seems like a classic case of loose ends that your players would be very short-sighted not to see coming. Maybe I'm missing something
>>97461477
>>97461487Unreliable partners are a staple of vampire in my view. And making a deal with her would involve making it mutually beneficial and at least the implicit threat of destroying her, her garden, and her cult either directly or through the local prince. (Blackmailing her with the society of Leopold or a blood hunt).Hence why I only plan to have her outright break the deal if there is an alternative to the current powers in the city.

>>97461758Not a pun per se, but what about “The Forbidden Fruit”? With a neon sign of a snake circling an apple?
I wrote my post 30 mins ago and watched an anime episode while waiting for the captcha and completely forgot about it… somehow me and anon got the same name idea as well as the neon sign lol

>>97461252>Where was your last chronicle set, and how did the locale play a part in it?Last as in a finished game I played in? Louisville Kentucky, not modern, 1816. Hunter the Vigil. The locale played a huge role. A still growing and bustling trade city by in large surrounded by countryside and frontier. Allowed us to have a good mix of urban and country hunts, there were a lot of fun period things going on. The big fixture was it being the year without a summer, a volcanic winter caused by a super-eruption. Some days it was so bad that you could see sunspots with the naked eye. Helped make the situation feel quite dire.

How do low-gen vamps deal with mages?
>>97463497Network of thralls to get early warning what the mage is up to and enough resources to comfortably move on another continent.
>>97463497Ghoul with a shotgun waiting in a nearby bathroom stall.
>>97463427Are people really THAT into the idea of someone just like... drinking them? Or is it the superpowers that mean she can kill you by flicking her wrist?
>>97461639Never mind then, still going to ass it to my Methusaleh-busting build.>tfw it would work on antediluvians
>>97463497Mages are WoD's equivalent of the Batman prep time meme. If they're unprepared and out of their element they're literally just a guy. For example, a Technocrat can't start conjuring fireballs out of nowhere, his paradigm requires him to have a special grenade or flamethrower or something like that. If you disarm him then he can't blast you, even if that's a trivial effect for another mage.
>>97463497Indirectly.Through several layers of agents. If they discover and kill/capture some neonates who don't even know they're working for you that's no biggie. If those neonates get lucky they might just blow his brains out in an ambush, or steal something cool from him, or find out something you can use as leverage.
>>97463497By sending their ghouls or a couple of crackheads they paid after the mage. Ambushing is WoD's most powerful weapon.
>>97463497People will always say "just ambush the mage bro". And to a degree, that's the right answer along with espionage tactics. However, the guy who said "Mages are Batman with preptime" is 100% right. No Mage powerful enough to be a threat will be caught unprepped casually.Force field generator wristwatches, bulletproof t-shirts, mind-control preventing cologne... if an Awakened individual survives ONE attempt on his life, you bet your ass they're going to start becoming paranoid enough to develop countermeasures for every reasonable danger, and then as time goes on they also start developing them for unreasonable ones. Mages are the ultimate "nuh-uh I'm immune to that" kids in the playground and you should treat them as such. What do I mean by that? Well, you have two options:A) You don't play with them because they're assholes that make everything impossible, so you just ignore them until they leave.B) You do what Bane did to defeat Batman: you tire them out. Find their schedules, what they care about, what their goals are. Become an omnidirectional threat that gives them no respite, no time to rest or recover. Sooner or later a Paradox backlash will hit, sooner or later they will miss something. That's your chance.Truth is that the only Awakened you're gonna be able to jump on on a whim, realistically speaking, are Arete 1-2 Orphans, Hollow Ones, and maybe some green and stupid trads that don't listen to their teachers.
>>97463497By countermagic them. V20 Core and V20 The Black Hand contain options.
>>97463708Or it would affect them as Corpse in The Monster 5.
>>97463706In a VtM context, unless you're dealing with a Gio, getting bit feels good. It's the reason vampires don't have to constantly kill to silence a victim screaming bloody murder because someone's biting their neck. It's not necessarily orgasmic, sometimes its likened to the best hit of heroin imaginable, but I could also see the pleasure being somewhat informed by the context. If there's a sexual pretext, the brain will fill in and leap to erotic pleasure. Therefore, having your vamp gf lightly feed on you semi-regularly is like getting an orgasm on top of your regular orgasm. As for broader fetishism, you could think of it like a mega-hickey. Masochism isn't uncommon at all, nor is submission, and being fed on by a vampire ticks both those boxes. There's also potent eroticism in the idea of someone gulping down your bodily fluids, as well as the idea that they "need" you, albeit in a predatory way. Like most kinks and fetishes, if you don't have it, there's only so much it being explained to you can do. I'm also sure there's a difference between people into stuff like the image posted, where it's basically just a really dommy make-out session with the guy showing no visible signs of ill-health vs. someone who has fantasies of getting drained to the bone.
>>97464048That, and if they don't kill you they can lick the bite and it heals immediately, so it doesn't really leave visible evidence on the victims either.

>>97463709>If they're unprepared and out of their element they're literally just a guyfamously happened to archmage Isaac Newton who died in a drive-by while going for a walk in detroit
>>97464119Get a job you fucking bum
Which type of mage allows me to be a muscle-brawler himbo?
>>97464141Akashic is an easy pick. You could justify most of them, if you had the right paradigm.
>>97463497To counter a magickal spell directed at a vampire roll a Wits + Occult roll (difficulty 6) to soaks spells. If effect not directed at a vampire, but occurs nearby, use Thaumaturgical Countermagic (difficulty 6). Sorcerers and certain other beings may counter a spell as an extended action, if the Storyteller approves.Theoretically, you can use both options at once.Or just make a custom elder discipline power, this is also perfectly feasible.
Is there a reason why Mages are even in WoD? Cuz they seem to be so OP that it's not worth mentioning them outside of themselves or playing in WoD with them.

>>97464153The same can be said about changelings. Arguably, they even worse RAW.
>>97464153No one actually plays Mage, it’s all just internet speculation and gives nerds something to blabber about, so you never actually have to deal with them in your games! It’s the potential man meme of WoD games—always if, never “when we will actually play this.”

Which splat allows me to conquer and make a kingdom full of other splats?
>>97464317that's for a tremere (or other vamp). A mage doing the same thing wouldn't invoke a clash at all unless the st is using the set of optional rules from m20 that aim to make magick harder to use on other splats by giving them all inherent countermagic dice
>>97464340Or a werewolf can just use Rending the Craft.
>>97464352and a mage can just turn them forever into a silver statue which also drains them of all gnosis and has no save involvedthis can go on forever which is the problem with all this whiteroom nonsense especially with mage which i swear must have had some writers who also must just been whiteroom fags like this themselves especially whoever wrote the two revised storyteller books
>>97464187>not having infinity money and goons between them and whatever untersplat tires to fuck with themCouldn't be me, lol.
>>97464187A Mage could take a Garou (with prep time or being almost powerful enough to be banished from reality)
>>97464352WoD balance is basically garbage within the context of each splat, let alone across the splat.
>>97464393so what I could also take one with enough lube
>>97464337the existence of Pentex heavily hints that the strongest splat is actually rich guy considering the kind of mfs they got on payroll
>>97464340>using the set of optional rules from m20 that aim to make magick harder to use on other splats by giving them all inherent countermagic diceIs there even a splat besides the vampires with specific countermagik options?
>>97464315Urban fantasy is sort of half and half on differentiating between outright reality warping wizardry and practitioners of magic as a sort of science you can research
>>97464398I'd like to see someone attempt that
Does anyone have an ideas for a necromancy/animalism combo discipline powers?
>>97464444summon and order around animalistic plasmics from wraith or the baghest from the dark age vampire book
>>97464444Nice quads. Wouldn't animalism + necromancy have too much overlap with Koldunism or some other sort of spiritual magic? Off the top of my head though probably some archeology stuff like resurrecting extinct animals from the ice age or previous. Maybe if you go as far as 4/5 dots in each you could do some time reversal in the area towards an earlier period of the Earth (which is bullshit but hey so are disciplines). So perhaps something like turning Antarctica into a swamp or returning to pre-Oxygen Earth and whatever interpretation you have of that.
>>97464444temporarily turn someone's beast into a shadow give zombus their instincts back (make them able to roll initiative and give them some brawl dice) Beckoning but with ghosts or zombies
>>97464292Thanks for proving you know nothing about what you're talking about. A normal mage or even a high level one wouldn't be able to realize the garou is there before they're already dead and being eaten. Is just not humanly possible has garou has super physical abilities and at the end of the day mages are humans.
>>97464444that's literally Spiritus
>>97464264Your personal discord server where you RP erotic anus rape with your garou boyfriend is neither a forum nor a community space. These are called circlejerks but then again you probably don't have one either are just here crying like a bitch for the sour grapes.
>>97464292using 2nd edition rulesforces 3 to make it floatsince it's obviously vulgar without witnesses (as Garou are not sleepers) the difficulty would be 3+4=7I'd say you'd need 2 successes to make it float, 3 minimum if you want it to float in such a way that it can't just drag itself along a wall or the ground towards youalso fuck you it's fast casting so +1 difficultyso in short it's a difficulty 8 roll with that needs a minimum of 3 successes and let's say you are arete 4 so you get a total of 4d10 to make that withso while this is possible it would be more likely that you fail and are promptly turned into mince meat by a wooft. actually knows the rules for casting magick
>>97464209Political garbage aside they're just corpo cocksuckers and love cucking to authority. They're the same as conservatives but are too stupid to realize. Although is funny to seeing from time to time someone breaks the programming and dares to question how shitting on OWOD and conforming to corporate garbage is an act of rebellion. At the end of the day the reason most of them hate OWOD is because it was a genuine effort of rebellion instead of supporting the current trend fed by the slopmasters at the top.
>>97464472>Koldunism>>97464519>SpiritusThese disciplines are more about interaction with the middle umbra rather than the lower umbra.>>97464451>>97464472>>97464489Thanks.

>>97464402Nope. Pentex is just one of the many minor projects of the Syndicate. The greatest foe of the Garou, who they are losing the war against, is the tiniest fraction of the Technocracy's true power.Woofs, stay losing.
>>97464641are the syndicate not "rich guy"? am I not technically correct?
>>97464621Damn, that's sick!
>>97464621>>97464661Yeah I like this one too. Cool but cheap powers are always appreciated.
>>97464352>>97464367>Turn the Werewolf into a Silver Statue so that he can't do his gay gift bullshit until someone else comes along>Immediately become a silver statue yourself because Paradox is a bitch and you're in an abusive relationshipMage seems both pro and anti-whiteroom
>>97464651They're giga rich guys but anon is a bit wrong about Pentex merely being a Syndicate side project, Werewolf's greatest foe would be around even with no resources because the Wyrm and its doom cults just run on bad vibes and consooming which would happen anyway
>>97464444buff "Quell the Beast" by making the target feel the primal fear of death perhaps even give them death sight for a while which they can't turn off till the power is done and i also want to say something with a undead insect plague ala plagues of egypt but even more disgusting, but i am not sure how i would design that rules wise
reminder that a weaver not!arasaka in one end time scenario just casually buys pentex and that the garou ignored them in favor of fighting pentex and that the syndicate has not found anything wrong with them, yetpentex isn't even the biggest megacorp problem the garou have just the one that is loud enough for the woofs to notice
is there anything in VtM revised that is actually good or is all badwrongfun type of lore?
>>97464729Another L for the Garou. Will their retardation ever cease?
what's the most weaver i can make a vampire without going full drone? true brujah with weaver tech gadgets?
>>97464802the prince, primogen and midnight siege books are excellent as are most of the revised clan books
>>97464802It's mostly a matter of opinion. I think the Metaplot lore was all trash, but the actual books were fine to great. I will always recommend Midnight Siege when someone's not sure how to handle a war arc for VtM. It has stuff like Tzimisce making ghoul observer blimps and a Malkavian Archon engaging in psyops to convince the Sabbat that the Camarilla has daywalker assassins. Clanbooks are solid, some were really good. Gilded Cage is a little too heavy on the "ghoul middle management bro, did I mention you should ghoul middle management?" but it's still a good resource for playing the influence game.
>>97464802Absolutely dogshit for Anarch lore. The Chinese invasion of the Free States, the neonate primogen in LbN kinda ruins the entire point of the movement if young vampires aren't being shit on by the old.besides that, my opinion is the same as >>97464947. Though, V20 is just superior to it in every regard making Revised superfluous.
>>97464729>syndicate has not found anything wrong with themI mean, drones are perfect employees. They're kind weird but you can always assume they're some sort of NWO secret project in social conditioning.
>>97465053>guy hasn't clocked out for 170 hours>and that is my problem why?
>>97464890>>97464947well thanks bros. i've heard they literally nuked or eviscerated certain clans so i was under the impression their clanbooks are garbo. guess i will give these and politics books a try. apparently theres nothing to properly play elders.>>97464994>Absolutely dogshit for Anarch lore.so i was warned. apparently revised turned the sabbat into the mayor threat and the anarchs got cucked and nerfed to hell? i can't take that because those idiots are my favorite sect.
>>97465087>i've heard they literally nuked or eviscerated certain clansCurious who holds that opinion. Because like... I hate the "three clans in an overcoat" era of Assamite lore. But also, I'm not gonna pretend Assamite lore was ever good in the first place, so I wouldn't call it an evisceration.
>>97465087they nuked clan ravnos, but the clan book is actually pretty clear about that they didn't nuked (you)r ravnos and that even if there is no canon npc alive who might have some of these elders powers there in this book just for the players and st to play with and the kinda defeated humor that comes from a fallen clan of tricksters makes it better to read than their first clan book that wanted to justify all they do and the plot hook of surrivors noticing that something like that this did not happen with the tzimisce and lasombra and that this proves that the sabbat is full of shit could lead to something interesting (even if it did not in canon)so i think it's a okay book even if the week of nightmares itself was stupid as shit
Guys, who's your favorite and least favorite wod artist? My favorite is Ron Spencer. Love his mix gory ultra violence, hyper musculature on everything and ugly looking monstrous abominations. The dark shading is also great when his art is colored, but his black and white stuff is amazing too. He fits WtA like a glove. It also a joy when he crops up in other splat books too.Least favorite would probably be Leif Jones. He's not the worst imo, but he draws people like they're melting clay dolls with giant bug eyes. His characters look especially hideous (and not in the good way) when they're smiling or trying to emote in some other way. Major uncanny valley vibe and his art is way overused in Mage. He's still infinitely preferable to that shitty artstyle that's basically just really lazy photoshops of real people that all the newer books have.
>>97465185i can't post pictures right now because i am on my phone, but my favorite is by far cobb especially his work in wraith is inspired and does so much for the gamelineand least favorite well.. we have to mention the photobash guy from w5 whatever his name is

>>97465522That's very true and factual. It's also true and factual that the Vienna Chantry got bombed into oblivion when the Second Inquisition outwitted the entire Tremere pyramid.

>>97464641If the Syndicate controls Pentex, and Pentex is completely rotted from the inside out by the Wyrm and infested by reality deviants (including BSD werewolves), then that means the Syndicate must be destroyed by the rest of the Technocracy for being a Nephandi fifth column.

>>97465539Yeah, but he's not getting the same amount of hits with VtM. You can tell because he's mixing it up a shitload already, pivoting from Anarchwank some of the anarch glazers do seem to be organic but I'd bet good money he started it last thread with the baffling claim of ancilla being a Camarilla exclusive term instead of a generic. to V5 bait. Expect him to go back to milking the wooffags for infinite (you)s next thread.
Let's face it, the Tremere were due a humbling. If there's one thing in V5 worth keeping, it's the Vienna bombing.
>>97465570The Syndicate doesn't know because the Technocrats are retarded.
>>97465346Are you talking about the LA by Night like Live play or the LA by Night book? My comment that "LA by Night was dogshit" is strictly a commentary on how the LA by Night supplement released by White Wolf was uninspiring lore for how Anarch domains operate + additional fluff. >>97465641Honestly there should probably be way more differentiated set-ups between how Vampires run a place. Sure, you might have a standard Prince-and-Primogens as a kind of standard, but over the course of the whole world and differing sects surely there should be a bunch, especially among anarchs. What do you think, Anons? Have you ever run or been in a game with a unique set-up for your vampire's city? Even if it's just someone pulling a Sejanus or other novel way of someone holding power.

>>97465677WoD never had enough by night books like they should have made, so aventuring in this is basically the domain of homebrew. But a city vampire politics should depend a lot on the city itself. You can't just make up shit on a vacuum because that would be nonsensical. I would put work into research before doing a city and draw from its history to see how its run in the first place, and adapt its institution to that. >>97466524>>97466534Was about to say, yeah it would certainly be a smart character idea were you to go about it properly but it'd be miserable to play. Works better as an NPC encounter for a different splat since using children is often quite contemptible and the actual mechanics of needing to use a child and being useless for everything but your brain and ability to speak sucks. Also, being limited to the mind of a child means you're supposed to RP being temperamental and have lower impulse control or else you're just being cringe for no reason
Honestly, Possession is a really fun and strong ability, but it's very unwieldy in actual play. Your body being left in a pseudo-torpor while you use it creates very annoying logistics when paired with other PCs.

HtVAnon back again. Session went excellently last night. The Union cell in town are being manipulated by a Ghoul, who has instructions to clear the town for his masters arrival. Unfortunately, the town is overrun with Amaranthine Cats, hundreds if not a thousand of the bastards. The ghoul provided some of his vitae to the cell, injected into vermin in tupperware boxes. The plan is to drive about town with the bait and pied-piper all the cats into an abandoned factory and set it on fire. Minayo and Steward, our two Union members, were rightfully suspicious of this plan. The cats don't seem to be a threat so far, they're just everywhere. But the Union insisted and went ahead without them. Meanwhile, the Abbey had finally located one of their quarries. The Werewolf Elaina McKinley, the last of the pack that wiped out most of Lenny's previous team. Tommy is a new team leader, and joined the PCs on the hunt. McKinley was in an old and abandoned repair garage in the industrial estate, conventiently right over the road from where the Union were going to stage their cat-cull. Unbeknownst to the PCs, McKinley was observing a very small and weak Loci in the garage. An old window that leads to the Shadow. A small spirit is stuck in the garage. Speeding Metal Hastes Collision feeds off the essence of the Loci, but will not relinquish its favourite crashing car which is currently sat on several jacks and immobile. The PCs also observed a child with a VHS camera climbing the walls of the garage like Spiderman, he was wearing a Betty Boop Jao Saao mask and vanished over the lip of the building. This is the Auteur, an Autumnal Changeling in town for the festive season (halloween), making its own feature film of delightful carnage and horror. Tommy pulled Lenny aside, offering him a sip from his hip flask. Inside is vitae, rather stale but still potent enough. They both emptied the flask, swearing to kill the she-wolf and avenge their fallen comrades.
>>97466449>slop meant to appeal to theater kids and transThat has been the case ever since Vampire: the Masquerade first released. Why do you think that it has the largest chamber L.A.R.P. scene?
>>97467228Anon’s last words before being sent 10000 years into the past
>>97469286 The PCs entered the garage, McKinley was aware of them but played dumb. She has made a deal with Speeding Metal, and has removed the jacks immobilising it. It will help her kill the humans and protect the Loci, seems a good deal. The PCs continue to creep forward, until one of the cars suddenly roars to life, accelerating rapidly and nearly running Lenny over. It crashes into a thin cinder block wall, knocking it over and sending debris crashing onto Tommy and Steward. McKinley bounds out, biting down on Lenny's arm before retreating. Steward climbs into the animated car, trying to wrangle it under control with her Crack Driver merit. She succeeds for a moment. Minayo and Duncan open fire on McKinley, dealing lethal damage with regular ammunition. Lenny goes in for the kill with his silver blade, hitting her for a whopping 11 damage in one hit and crippling her leg. Steward loses control of the car, which rapidly reverses clean through another wall, nearly flattening Lenny again. Steward passes out in the drivers seat as the car buckles under the impact, the engine sputtering and dying. McKinley limps away, ruined by the silver blade. She drags herself to the window, shifting into Urshul and hoping to escape as Lenny strikes again, severing her other leg at the hip entirely. Tommy and Minayo rush in, putting the boot in as Lenny delivers the killing blow. Blood pumps from her severed leg, thick and heavy as she lets out an ear-splitting howl, one that shatters every window in the building. Finally, she dies, shifting back into a thin and wiry woman (with one leg missing and another mangled). Lenny and Tommy cheer, hugging eachother and shouting their vengeance to the sky. Over the road, a factory erupts into flame. Duncan had been covering the exit with his rifle, and he watches as a veritable tide of cats smash out a huge window and pour out into the street. Crossing the road at speed, they race into the garage.
>>97469333 Lenny nearly died in the ensuing feline-tide. Three aggravated damage as everyone swung fists, clubs and chains at the tsunami of cats that engulfed him. Tommy barely fared any better, stomping and kicking at the cats as they targetted exclusively Lenny and him. OOC, Steward and Minayo figured it was a vampire-issue, with Tommy and Lenny having ghouled themselves with a hip flask before the encounter began. The session ended with the gang dragging Steward, Tommy and Lenny out of the garage and into their vehicles and driving away before the fire engines showed up. They also took Mckinley's corpse as a trophy. Up on the roof, the Auteur adjusted its camera to watch them leave before observing the burning factory. I was a bit worried that a goofy animated ghost car and then an army of cats would be too much, but the players really enjoyed it. It was nice to finally have Lenny get his revenge also.

>>97472815To be fair, most of their bullshit is a counter movement to the rest of the game lines mentality and premises. They need mysteries because they know what happens when people know what's up. They need to be separated from the mundane because how real life makes WoD's supernatural influence on politics seem positive.
Would a BSD get along with vampires?
>>97471166They lack the clout to affect others plotlines, let alone kill a major figure from the main splat.
>>97472994depends on the vampire and the BSD. there have been dancers that got along with lasombra, tremere, baali and malkavians but nosferatu mention in their clan books that they have been fights because they both want the same real estate (severs)
>>97472945Give us the rundown on this group and their actions. This sounds interesting>>97472994Likely not, both are pretty stuck-up with a superiority complex and autism
>>97472994Probably not, in most cases the difference is power would be too much to actually get along rather than enslaving one another depending on the vampire's powerset.
>>97472994they do in mexico allegedly and around cairo there is a pack that has a weaker avatar of apophis as totem and inside cairo there is a setite temple that forsaken set in favor of of full apophis worship so i assume these also get along
>>97472994If both are working for Pentex they'd probably listen to what their boss tells them to do and somewhat cooperate
>>97472994This begs the better question; Why aren’t the Garou Nation allied with the Banu Haqim? They both hate vampires. It seems an alliance would be beneficial to both parties.

>>97473151Banu Haqim are path niggers who are not on the path of the beast so they ping as wyrm tainted harder than normal vampires on humanity they also worship a ancient blood god and have a bloodline of may or may not baali sorcerers

>>97472462>Pretty nice. Instead of lowering the difficulty it makes it an automatic success and a shit ton of damage. Though I wasn’t thinking about going into the wizard path. It’s why I haven’t checked the Path of Transmutation (the one that can reinforce a weapon to do more damage).Awakening of the Steel also pretty nice path>I don’t see it? >>97473273>fucked everything up>>97473266>somewhat okayI rest my case. You may be able to ally or work together with a single Garou or even pack. But as a whole, they're a ticking time bomb who are just as likely to sperg out on you than to help you.
>>97473273and the silent striders leaving fucked up the entire osirian league and made horus think that he can't rely on cross splat alliances which in turn doomed mummies to Irrelevancy because of their low numbers and caused the other members of the alliance to be picked out one by one by the setites because they couldn't stand divided. This also caused the creation of the order of hermes (isis and thoth sorcerers and mages fled egypt) and later clan tremere so you can in theory blame owl for thisso everyone involved was a retard beside, surprisingly, whoever was running things for Set while he was in topor (not named but probably Nakhthorheb)

>>97472310>>97472265>>97472265I repeat what I've always said. The idea of "it's antes playing both sides all the way down in ghost Enoch" is cool. The fact that it's a super sekrit club with all of the literal who bloodlines with a couple dozen members worldwide at most that stand out fucking everywhere, including things like Mages, Abominations, Infernalists and Bahari, composed of cults within cults that actually all hate each other and consider the sect a useful tool at best is stupid. It should use the Dark Brotherhood model. It's Five fingers, with the Thumb taking orders directly from the Aralu. They infiltrate key locations such as the Inner Circle/Inconnu and the proximities of the Sabbat Regent, as well as key locations with important events happening. Nothing short of the paygrade of the fall of Carthage, the imprisonment of Kupala, the Baali Wars, the Crucifixion or the Avatar Storm should call for their direct involvement. No figures below the likes of Mithras, Michael, or Ur-Shulgi should even know of them.Their small size should be their strength in remaining hidden, yet also be their weakness in their grasp and vision, suffering from failure to catch up to the modern world and its rapid changes. The Inner Circle meets every 13 years? How about 130? The Cam-who? Eternity has a way of making you see any new trends of the young as a passing phase.

Now that both the short Technocracy thread (sorry about that) and the Hunter thread are shoah'd while we're in February it may be a good idea to consider options for another RP. I respect science bros for the technocracy thread, but we should keep it away from being faction specific. Imo, we should consider Mummy or another niche splat before we do a bigger one.

As much as the money-printers like to pretend they run things, the NWO can force them to run unviable markets at a loss with their utopian experiments whenever they want. The only thing the syndicate can do is cry about it when the inevitable market correction hits and they lose quadrillions in space stocks because a NWO middle manager had a "Great Idea".
