I think the new proportions lessen the inherent absurdity of Space Marines, and I think models that look really good with the new proportions are the ones that add back in the absurdity with extra design elements like the Bladeguard, Sternguard, and the Honor Guard equivalents of chapters (barring the Sanguinary Guard)

Assault Intercessors and Jum Pack Intercessors being two different kits makes no sense to me. They should condense the datasheets together and have the Jump Packs be a war gear upgrade (for points) to get a different set of benefits of a cheaper unit without.
