Ignoring matters of taste, the worst issue you have is the flatness of your appraoch to your painting. Here's something you could perhaps look to. Note jus thow much more is going on with the blue armor panels, with the lighting and weathering. The way the red and yellow panels add interest to the sillouette. There are plenty of approaches to knights to give them interest, but you have to pick one if you want out of the 4-5 zone, flat color panels is not going to cut it.

Borrowed a scale shot from elsewhere and combined it with a pic from a couple threads ago of the new boyz, did my best to match the scale but the angle is not quite the same. As expected, no real scale creep here, and man the new ones really are going to mog the 9th edition nuboyz in sculpt quality. The proportions all feel better too, this makes it apparent that the only change in scale is the size of the heads and that the cinderblock build of the 9e boyz were an aberration - the new one fall in line with kommando body type.

Questions about the Votann.>1. Why are they even considered Xenos at all, even by the rules, when they're just abhumans?>2. Why don't their technological innovations sometimes summon daemons or whatever, the way the Adeptus Mechanicus has to avoid?>3. Do they also have navigators like the Imperium? If not, how do they navigate the Warp?>4. How many of them are there supposed to be? Are they supposed to be like a Tau-sized faction, if they were united?>5. Does the Imperium officially consider them to be part of it, even if they are functionally independent?>6. They're all clones, right? So they don't reproduce normally at all?

Their a bit more willing to work with the Imperium and Squats live in the Imperium though.

That being said ironkin can and do get corrupted by chaos if they can find an opening - the Arks of Omen books have a passage showing it happening to them.>3They use a mix of computers, not diving as deep into the warp as the imperium, and the Votann cores having their own signature in the warp to navigate it. Their warp travel is slower than the Imperium's but safer.>4More than the Tau but they don't venture out of the galactic core often. Up until the rift fucked everything up in the galactic core they were content to keep to themselves besides small exploration/trading ventures.>5No but it probably depends on who in the Imperium you ask.>6They can, but mostly don't. The Votann usually produce new batches of Kin for them with desired traits for what they're needed at. The Squats on Necromunda lost their Votann so they reproduce the old fashioned way, but don't get the wild genetic traits like stone skin some Kin get.Flip through the codex sometime, they're a new faction so it's not the largest read and it has some cool stuff in it.
