>>97900777>you can be an Arceus arm
>>97900896>fancanonI tried to be very lore accurate, taking options from different official pokemon sources. Sure, there's the option for having your pokemon be sexy humans that I did for crowd-pleasing purposes, and some balance things to make signature types other than fighting, psychic, or ghost be worth taking, but a *lot* are options are rooted in canon. The immortality option is the plot of X/Y - down to making you unnaturally tall as a side-effect. Arceus canonically has given the player points that can be exchanged for prizes. A gardevoir spirit guide was a thing in Mystery Dungeon. Pokerus is the explanation of Faster Growth letting your stats raise quicker. The option to be turned into a pokemon is just what happened to Bill. I'll accept that some concessions were make to make balanced and appealing CYOA options, but I tried my best to be true to the lore - as much as I can with different sources being their own canon.>>97901019I tried to err on the side of caution since I'm typically too stingy with points. You do need to share them between Trainer Class, technology, and your Companion Pokemon, though. Not to mention it's 5 points for each pokemon after your first (unless you're fine filling out your team with wild ones). I team of 6 costs you 25 points right off.>>97901024Arceus is said to have 100 arms. Looking at Arceus, there's clearly not 100 arms. Given that Arceus gives pieces of himself to trainers sometimes, I interpret "arm" to mean "corporeal body".
>>97900959Depends on my level of enjoyment of the cyoa itself. Some are a straightforward list, others are basically elaborate proto-novels that I'm still adding to till this day.

Neither would be satisfied with sharing his murders. Did the demons tear each other apart in the heat of the argument? Was Anon be let off scot-free? No, they used demonic magic to split Anon into two Anons, and each demon murdered one Anon. There are now two Anons walking around, seemingly, but both are demons wearing his skin.-----------------------In summary, anons are:1. Fearless gamblers2. LuckyThat said, the probabilities didn't work out the way I would've liked: I'd have liked it if the first meters have astronomically low risk, and the later meters approach P=1 faster, because then the player would be more motivated to think hard about how much to bet; but as it is, it even seems sound to risk it all. So I structured it poorly.

If there's demand for it, I could add a page for something like that, though.>>97901158Fair, I did design it with a lot of pokemon background knowledge required - namely in that it assumes you can pick a favorite out of the pool of over 1000 pokemon. And yes, the hologram projector can work outside of battle. I like the mental image of just picking up the Shadow Mewtwo when he's being evil and scolding him. The Orphanage is a good choice since you already have a ranch, and you're likely strong enough to take on a rampaging legendary or two. Not sure what societal change you're after for Revolutionize Life. And you pick the Gardevoir as your bonus. I like it.>>97901227"There once were people who married pokemon. You've got plenty of stacking power boosts to be a powerful reckoning force. That said, why Arceus? Your god-power is in a limited capacity, and there's plenty of other pokemon with high combat potential. Just because it is the classic, or so that your limited god-power can let you do minor miracles? Revolutionize Life should be pretty easy when The Almighty Sinnoh shows up in person to lay down the law. Might have a harder time with inventing technology, but having your subordinates do it still counts, so I believe in you.>>97901519>I don't like the stipend that I'm going to grow to twice my height though...Neither did AZ's tailor.>Basically, I'm going to set up...Yeah, that's where I thought you were going the moment I read 'secretive islands'
>>97901756Who is AZ?I played your CYOA without knowing much about pokemon, to be honest. Didn't really like them. When I was a kid people went crazy for it but I was more of a Legend of Dragoon or Chrono Trigger guy. I always thought pokemon looked simplistic and boring in both gameplay, graphics and plot. Please reformat and try again"4chan is being mean to me if I put too many (Yous) on a single post. Forcing me to split into multiple posts.>>97901759So pokemon plot got better as time went on. The gen 8 plot was pretty contrived. And the games themselves could use more polish. Legends ZA had a bunch of fun NPCs and Scarlet/Violet had a tragic death I really liked, so I'd rate it high for plot - didn't care as much for the enemy team (like Team Rocket but not) it had though. But to answer your question, AZ is the guy from the meme image attached to this post. In lore, he was an ancient king from 3000 years ago, but his partner pokemon Floette died. So he tied hundreds of people and pokemon up to stone monoliths and sucked out their souls to fuel a superweapon he built that would revive his beloved pokemon. This granted him immortality (just a lot of longevity) in the process, as well as made him grow to like double human height - his pants are often designed with stitches and patches to accommodate his form. Until a more recent pokemon game where the superweapon was used on someone else, it was uncertain if his height was due to the weapon or just how people were back then.>>97901767Glad you like it! Yeah, it depends a bit too much on franchise knowledge to have wide appeal, but I understood that when making it.>>97901773Yeah, until that leak, I just assumed it was like the human-shaped pokemon that people are normally horny for, or they had a common ancestor like poke-neanderthal. Not typhlosion. I see why they kept that hidden.
>>97901756> I like the mental image of just picking up the Shadow Mewtwo when he's being evil and scolding him. Bad Mewtwos go into the timeout corner. You don't want to go into the timeout corner, do you?>...you're likely strong enough to take on a rampaging legendary or two. They will be well taken care of, and get to take care of the babies in the orphanage to help them recover.>Not sure what societal change you're after for Revolutionize Life. What kind of societal change do you think a supercharged Dommy Mommy Mewtwo Y who sees everyone, including humans, as babies who need to be taken care of? There have been naughty children, I mean look at all these orphans.
>>97901792Saving this image.Might need it in the future.
>>97901817Good to know the games levelled up their plot. Again, my only disses about pokemon are from the literal first gen black-and-white gameboy era - hence why I wouldn't insult modern pokemon, since I know very little about it. But thanks for explaining this AZ thing. I still think that being forced to be 12 feet tall if you want to be immortal is a bit painful of a tradeoff.>>97901828Have it, my friend, it's all yours!
>>97901817>Scarlet/Violet had a tragic death I really likedWhat? What are you talking about? Nobody died in that game.Unless you mean the professor, in that case I don't think that counts since the originals were dead long before the game starts and the android replacement doesn't die, it gets sent to the past/future to close the hole from the other side.
>>97901817Additionally, if I hadn't had the chance of getting The Gardevoir, I would have spent my remaining 4 points and tera crystal to get the Pokemon expansion suit, for the last bit of power out of the CYOA.Great job again.
>>97901825Yeah, I'd say that qualifies as a major societal change. Also that image looks *very* cropped for blue-board.>>97901833Happy to help explain. I wouldn't say newer pokemon games do anything revolutionary with the plot, but I'd say they're average rather than bad. Certainly an improvement over the old ones.>I still think that being forced to be 12 feet tall if you want to be immortal is a bit painful of a tradeoff. At least you don't have to sacrifice the souls of hundreds of living beings.>>97901876I guess I could have written it more accurately. The professor died before the events of the game, but Arven learning their fate (after having already been abandoned by his parents) and then losing the next-best-thing to a time machine was the tragic part I liked. I simplified my explanation to avoid going into any more plot or remembering how to do spoiler text on this site, but I feel like saying 'tragic death' got the gist of it across.>>97901880I was wondering why you hadn't tried to squeeze that option in. I suppose the Tera Crystals *are* hard to come by. Glad you enjoyed it!
>>97901756>>97901773>>97901817>>97901825KYS furfags
>>97901902I don't think that death was tragic at all, and it already happened a long time ago so it's not "in the game". It's a cool emotional moment and the realization of Arwen that the professor was not as much of a shitty parent as he though was much deeper than usual pokemon plots, so I will aggree with that. The cool reveal about your bike was also kinda cool, but I predicted that from a mile away. Then again I also predicted the professor thing but that doesn't diminish the emotional impact. I would consider it more uplifting than tragic, overall it's a positive scene when it happens.
Writing a throuple romance with a blank player-insert character seems to have unique challenges. With a couple you don't need to shine much of a light on the player and it's easy to leave their characteristics, and how those characteristics affect the relationship, up to the imagination, and let the player decide how the pieces of the relationship fit. With a throuple there's two non-blank slate characters who end up having their own concrete, set dynamic, and it would feel odd to have just those two like that, while the player's dynamics with both of them are still in a wishy-washy fill-in-the-blanks state.Feels like walking a tightrope between "railroading the player into being a specific pre-determined personality" and "accidentally turning the player into a no-personality third wheel". >>97902180Out of curiosity, I described the blood fairies to ChatGPT (as blood-aspected pixies), and asked it for what the "average" one would be like:>A blood-aspected pixie in a modern fantasy world would be a fascinating character, blending elements of classic pixie folklore with darker, more complex magic. Here's how their characteristics might break down:### **Physical Appearance**Given their connection to blood, this type of pixie might appear more intense or eerie compared to their more whimsical counterparts. Their appearance could be delicate, but with hints of an unnerving, slightly macabre edge:* **Size and Build**: Like traditional pixies, they’d be small, standing about 6 to 8 inches tall, but they might have a leaner, more sinewy build, reflecting their ability to manipulate the body and its lifeblood.* **Wings**: Their wings could have a translucent, almost organic quality, possibly resembling delicate veins, veins of living tissue, or the pattern of blood vessels. Their shimmer might seem to pulse as if blood is flowing through them.* **Skin Tone**: Their skin could have an unusual hue, perhaps a pale, ivory color tinged with crimson streaks or faint, dark veins just beneath the surface, signaling their connection to blood.* **Eyes**: Their eyes might be unnervingly bright, shifting in hue from deep red to dark purple or black depending on their emotional state. These eyes could convey an eerie understanding of life and death, even in a glance.
>>97902238## **Personality**Blood-aspected pixies would likely possess an intense, sometimes unsettling demeanor:* **Cunning and Calculating**: They would have a sharp, manipulative edge to their personality, able to read others with almost unnatural precision. As they can control blood, they would likely understand the physical and emotional vulnerabilities of those around them, using this knowledge to their advantage.* **Reserved or Aloof**: Unlike more playful or mischievous pixies, blood-aspected pixies might keep to themselves, their demeanor darker and more secretive. They'd prefer to work behind the scenes, watching and planning, often making deals with other supernatural beings, or even humans, to further their goals.* **Moral Ambiguity**: Due to their ability to create binding agreements written in blood, these pixies would likely see the world in terms of contracts, exchanges, and power dynamics. They might have little care for human notions of right and wrong, valuing personal gain or maintaining the balance of their blood-based powers over any ethical concerns.
>>97902199Sneasel is a fun companion pokemon. I've used both regional forms when playing through games before. I like how yours is naught, cute, and disobedient - makes me think he'll just run off and get into trouble.Yeah, I had a bit of trouble balancing the points. I kept telling myself that it's 5 points for each additional companion pokemon and that it'd add up really quick, but I haven't seen a single person opt for a second.>>97902214With a signature type, you can't use an off-type for any serious battles (trainer battles or powerful wild pokemon), but you could use them for very weak wild pokemon to get some experience. You could also use day care services or not-so-rare xp candies. That's enough to get through the "leveling them up enough to gain the type needed to use them" phase, but it might be a little slow.

I'm working on my version of this modern Island cyoa (again), and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the Nemesis section. Particularly looking for candidates that negate a strength of modern society, or embody a dangerous social problem. So far, I'm looking at1. The Butcher - similar to.the origonal cyoa, representing the corruption of industry2. The Experiment - a provocative theory that can only be tested with human subjects in extremely cruel experiments has been handed down through academia since the late 19th century. And someone is testing it (again).3. The It - the result of people saying they care, but not enough to actually do anything. A former abused child, the It is so twisted and scarred up that no one can even tell if it's male or female . . .and has starting kidnapping children into the sewers.4.An unnamed hybrid of the Mad Hatter and the Joker. Embrace the madness and stop trying to make the world better!5. The Machine/AI/the App - embodiment of pointlessness and mindless enjoyment. Sit back and enjoy your life while the world eats you and your potential!6. Evil Politician (tentative)7. Something involving human sacrifice and/or people being hunted for fun. (Very tentative)Any thoughts or suggestions? And/or what problem in society would you enjoy beating the tar out of?

I actually wanted a Whimsicott, but I think Tinkatink is the most natural and correct Fairy starter for a traditional journey. It shouldn't be hard to catch a Cottonee to train with my magic talking box. I'll have it in radar mode to track down any Fairy types I pass by and train up a whole roster to switch between, naturally, with a portable PC Box to switch between them on the fly!Floette and Clefairy might make more sense to switch places, but I like having Floette first because it fits the narrative I'm going for. I figure by studying her, I'll be able to better replicate her immortality. Specifically, my plan is harvest some people with my Pact magic and use their life force to revive the ghost girl as my totally normal, very sane, clearly not dead girlfriend. Just one should be technically sufficient, a life for a life, but if I jam a few extras in there, I might be able to stop her from growing old, like Floette.

Ash is roughly analogous to Red and Gary is roughly analogous to Blue. Giovanni's son is Silver, not Red (I don't think those two are brothers). So I'm inclined to disagree with that theory. That said, Ash is in an entirely different canon than Red and Blue, so being "analogous" is probably insufficient evidence for anything more than a hunch.>>97902369Ooh, I love Tinkaton and Whimsicott. This thread has great taste in pokemon. I'd say trading one life for another is within the realm of what your Pacts can do - at least in this case where the soul is still hanging around. And the Floette is probably more okay with that since it requires consent and won't leave you for 3000 years. The Revival Weapon also could have brought her back, but that does come with the unfortunate downside of needing a lot of new clothes, which is why I assume that wasn't your first choice.
>>97902417>since it requires consentYes, technically, I would be purchasing rather than harvesting, which is sad. But it does mean my Pokemon will still like me if they figure out what I did, which is another major point of favor over Gigantor's rock beam. I guess making her be ten or eleven feet tall wouldn't be the end of the world, since I have the magic ring of wardrobe and the alternative is dying, but it's seriously inconvenient and would probably make her feel bad. That's why I'm willing to go so far as to compensate people for their sacrifices.

The others, like Unusual Body or Hybrid Procedure I put in to have a way to reduce size, and figured it'd be silly if it only worked the one way since I wanted those options to be freeform.I do feel like relying on local reality warping for immortality is a bit risky, as psychic effects like that sometimes disappear all at once, which would likely do the whole "suffer all the aging at once" kind of thing. But also, I don't know if mewtwo has a finite lifespan, so there's that. I've never seen an old mewtwo - and it's a copy of mew, which I've never *seen* have children, so I always assumed mew was immortal.>>97903522I'm going off of manga lore for that option, but I never actually read it. I wanted the rare candies to mostly be things that couldn't be obtained through training and such. But a few too many were rare candy options, so I turned the row that starts with Indomitable into point-costing options at the last minute.

>>97903680>Being gigantic and clumsy a destructive combo for anyone hanging out nearby. Too big a risk, then, can't risk hurting my babies (literally everyone). It's interesting that rare candies are so expensive - 14 points for league Champion -> Unstopable Ace, sacrificing your Pokemon's power or giving them a personality defect, or the final reward. Unusual body is the only rare candy costing choice that does not give direct stat benefits. I thought of doing a breakdown of how exactly overpowered the character would be with all stat benefits per cyoa rules, but i think I might be the only one competitive Pokemon brained enough to appreciate it. One of the greatest stealth powers you gave the perma max is constant access to thier max moves. Letting you put more utility attacks in the slots - say future sight, that can be switched over for the more powerful direct damage ones if you need them to be. Or picking up recover lets you have both max protect and Recover in one move.

Therefore, only by being Arceus can a multiversal emperor build succeed.

>>97901445Good job getting stuck as a normal type you wanna-be. The expansion suit takes up your item slot. >>97903822I would argue that within the limited confines of a pokemon battle, assuming the Legendaries/Mythicals are also restricted from using their cheat abilities, that the straight mechanical power boosts from the CYOA would give an edge in a sanctioned battle. >>97904023It was my intent that you can only pick a single Trainer Class, but if that wasn't clear, it's on me. Having the Latias handle the day-to-day of Day Care is a good idea, though. Eevee is a fun pokemon choice, and you're correct that it should be trivial to evolve into Sylveon with Unwavering Loyalty - just need to make sure you have a Fairy move on her first.I looked into what >>97904097 was saying about a Champion using an Eevee, but Unwavering Loyalty checks your friendship requirement immediately. Beyond that you just need a fairy-type TM or level 15 for Baby Doll Eyes, and then a single level up. I was ambiguous on rulesets since things change between gens, but using gen 9 as an example, you get can the fairy type TMs just from beating up a couple azurils, teddiursas, or ralts. I don't think it would be hard to just buy a fairy-type TM if you're not picky, either. I'm sure you could get the Sylveon before level 10 - and before you have to do anything too Championy. The best loophole for that is avoiding getting into a battle in the first place. Kyogre sending out a tsunami can be damaging but wouldn't necessarily constitute as a battle. >>97904227And yet, it appears so. If you have a problem with the nature of our reality, I recommend taking it up with Arceus. Then, if you beat him with a team you cobbled together over the course of 19 hours with a fucking Weepingbell on it, you can make your case.>>97904232It's one of the main reasons I was iffy on getting it. There's a lot of great items that can be situationally more useful. Still, a 50% bonus to all stats is basically increasing all stats by a stage, and there's quite a few pokemon that can sweep with that set up. Extreme Speed Arceus being one of them. I would recommend Extreme Speed, Swords Dance, Shadow Claw, and Protect. You should actually stay normal type for that one too. I would have to break out my damage calculator to see if your extreme speed would OHKO my Dynamaxed Mega Mewtwo Y, but considering we both took all the other stat boosting options, I think my double HP would let me live a hit (almost certainly dead on a crit tho), and then I'd have to calculate if my Max Knuckle would kill. I'd also have to check shadowclaw for you as well. but that's a lot of work.

>>97904097Correction: borderline legendary Sylveon due to all the buffs piled on top and Eternal Floette, also very strong pokemon. I figure out my breeding/catching business will pump out 4 mooks I need to fill my squad before any teens with delusions of grandeur walk through all the gym leaders and elite four, especially seeing I have far faster training rate than any trainer class and can prepare countermeasures by keeping tabs on any prodigies spamming badge matches.Said eevee is also exceptionally loyal and I only took the battle master trait as a precaution in case I need to split my party (say, deal with multiple Team X mooks quickly), then Sylvie can handle itself with me taking rest of the pokemon the other way. It's also why I picked Alola, the region league is so new/weak it has no official canon champion yet which should give me extra time to prepare before anyone strong arises.>>97904266Ah, I understood 'additional' trainer classes as something you can add on top of your primary one from page 1, like DnD prestige classes, mostly because they sound like side gigs and have little to do with actual pokemon training/fighting. My bad then. And as I said above the idea was to use Eternal Floette as a crutch while I rush my companion up to spec.As for vish, like I said, points? >>97904576Not sure what races you have in there already, but have you considered: Necropolitan - Essentially a dead person, intelligent and emotional, who does not rot and can regrow flesh so long as they have access to magic. A morally neutral undead, who is capable of knitting themselves back together seamlessly so long as the principle bone remains (Usually a vertebra). Additionally, able to graft on replacement parts, if supplied. Generally act as refined as they can, to separate themselves from lowly zombies, which they are often compared to, though they do not have a natural air of nobility to them like vampires do. Other than being fueled by magic and being able to come back from a lot of damage, otherwise a normal (cold) person.A thot form, or a tulpa, that essentially only exists as a shared hallucination in the perceptions of people around her. Cannot interact with the physical world, but is extremely emotionally resonant and able to do angle plays, by moving from one person's perception to the next, she can move very quickly anywhere that's observed by people. Very useful for intelligence gathering, and very hard to prove she's been somewhere. She can 'interact' with others in that they think and feel as if she is. May appear differently to different people. Funny if she's a valley girl/bimbo style character, sad if she spends much time introspecting.A Mirror-ling. Essentially a changeling that always appears to be a copy of whoever is looking at it. Another existential one, but great for those who want selfcest.Jon Arbuckle
>>97904645Nothing sexual about a guy who likes wearing cute clothes. >>97906404I'm not part of that conversation, but isn't this just Kaine from NieR: Replicant?
>>97906973I don't think I'd want to have a girl in skimpy lingerie on my screen at work...
>>97902130Some of these powers seem stingy. The healing ability, for example, explicitly states that it can't restore lost limbs. Why such a restriction?
>>97906772>Most rich people would probably prefer eating a somewhat higher tax rate over completely relocating their life, renouncing their citizenship, and moving to a country they have no roots in.>America was literally founded by tax-dodgers who moved to a country they had no roots in.Actually, no.-New England was settled by hardline religious ideologues who moved to the middle of nowhere because they were feuding with the Dutch (of all people). Once here, they had to leep founding new colonies because they realized they couldn't stand each other, either.-Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic state colonists got conned into believing a get-rich-quick scam, and found they couldn't afford to go back.-Georgia was a penal colony where the British dumped their surplus prison population.Later, once the initial settlers built actual towns and the like, we started getting more "normal" settlers. But you can still see those three impulses repeated over and over again.(Utah, for example, was an I-Hate-My-Neighbors state. And that was during the Victorian Era. Alaska was a get-rich one . . )As for the actial revolution, that was dictated by internal problems within the British Empire. If the Reform Bill of 1850 had happened in 1750 instead, there probably wouldn't have been a revolution at all.
>>97901369>namely in that it assumes you can pick a favorite out of the pool of over 1000 pokemon. It's not so much that, picking a pokemon I could do by wikidiving (as usual for franchise cyoas for unfamiliar franchises). But many options reference mechanics/events which I don't know, so I felt it's comfier to opt out completely. Plus it's thematic in a way!
>>97906695>Do you disagree that it would be cool? No, it would be cool. I didn't mean to single you out, I just meant I have seen people like you before, and worded it really poorly.
>>97902238I'm not sure my ChatGPT/blood fairy post came off right. It was just something I had laying around, and felt inspired to share.(Some of the other fairy types I asked ChatGPT about were nowhere near as evocative. The sound fairies like to start bands, for example.)
>>97907067>But many options reference mechanics/events which I don't know, so I felt it's comfier to opt out completely. It's fairly straight forward. (You) will be isekaied to a world where everyone has the monster tamer class. Take your starting monster, and go out and find more monsters for your squad. Battle other monster tamers, then go find more monsters . . .All you're really picking is whether you want to be: -a standard wandering tamer (the default-a regional expert on a specific type (gym leader)-a recognized master (the ultimate four/champion options)-someone who helps rookie tamers get started (a.k.a. a professor)-part of a group with a cause, whether good or bad (Team)-emergency response, like firefighter, cop, or medic-someone whose competition battles are judged as much on style as damage (coordinator)Oh, and there are a bunch of unique pokemon with rule-bending super powers. Raise the dead, reverse time, punch a hole into another dimension, isekai people . . .these pokemons are referred to as Legendaries. They're out there, and theoretically recruitable, but almost no one ever gets to see one in person. They live outside time, or on a moving island, or just mindwipe anyone who comes too close . . . But it is possible!
Instead of spending one of my two days off to work towards my extensive finals project, I accidentally fell into a trance and made one and a half pages of a WIP. Now I need to finish it so that the time won't have been wasted for nothing.
>>97907193My WIPbro! I started a WIP yesterday as well. About an island nation in a fantasy setting. The focus is on the map where your island will be located.

>>97906627Shitty low-effort photos
>>97907461You are a fictitious poster.
So, I want to make (comfy) CYOA. How to make it more of an A, less companion picker?
>>97907067Anon, the 1000 pick is paid option. By default you pick one of the 'starter' pokemon, which is actually 1 in 32, just pick the one you like the most (or eevee if you intend to go with some rare element, it evolves to cover most of these) and you're done:https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/First_partner_Pok%C3%A9mon
>>97907523Perhaps you should add quests!Quest to make the comfiest pillow fort and the Lazy waifu might join youQuest to make a chill hobby space and the artsy girl waifu might join youQuest to find a nice spot to fuck around outside and you may get a tomboy companionContinue this for other related conceptsIf that doesn't work, try adding a war narrative.
>>97907523make really comfy build for a cyoa that doesn't exist yet, then write the cyoa it's from
>>97907561The problem with quests is that half of the board seemingly wants rural/medieval setting, half wants modern/city stuff. I'd like to add both but it's kinda hard since I find only one of these appealing, sooo, could use a few ideas or sources of inspiration.>>97907720OK, it's good idea but I did the parts I like, and now want to add some more stuff to fill the 'choose' part, and it's kind of hard without using dead horse anime fantasy life tropes...
>>97907799you just make sidegrades from the stuff you like the most and chose for your "build", your second and third choices in that sort of situationlike if your comfiest home is on a beach then add a mountain home and a high tech home as alternatives
>>97907799Make a medieval fantasy setting with modern conveniences via magic items (anime land). That makes it easy to add adventure too since you can just bullshit something (because magic).
>>97907799>half of the board seemingly wants rural/medieval setting, half wants modern/city stuff.Just pick one. Who gives a shit what anons want.
>>97907825This.
>>97907799make sci-fi setting without any modern convenience, like in blame!this might sound counter-intuitive, but just imagine how much comfier having a comfy retreat would be in an inhuman techno-hell
>>97901208>human companionsConsider the following
>>97908366If not for the filename, I would think anon wanted to be princess-carried.
>>97900777Does this have immortality? If it has which page and option
>>97908796For you specifically, no.
>>97908796Three options. Page 3 allows you to become a pokemon - but knowing which ones live forever is a task for the reader. Just picking a legendary or something is probably fine. Page 3 also has "Revival Weapon" which can make you live forever. Page 4 also has immortality in the form of "Fairy Signature Type">>97908366I'm trying to think of any pokemon characters that are canonically thick, but nothing comes up. There's a few that are canonically busty or such, and gen 9 even had a lot of buff ladies as generic npcs, but I can't really think of a single character with that bodytype. I guess there's always just making up noncanonical trainers.
>>97908787i-is that so wrong, bro?
Danmachi status?
>>97908856Squeak!
>>97900777>>97908816>Three options. Thanks for the answer>Page 3 allows you to become a pokemonHard pass on that one>"Revival Weapon"But then you will eventually grow bigger and bigger until you are so big that you will eventually starve. So this is an actual trap option.>"Fairy Signature Type"Then I will be forced to only have fairy Pokémon, and most of them look like shit. They do have Gardevoir, which I really like, but that's about it. I'll pass on this CYOA.
>>97908867
>>97908816Aren't several of the milves thick?Or at least in fanarts, the games are a fading memory of childhood and I wouldn't have noticed at the time
>>97908863So not good?
>>97908879A for Always pick A!
>>97908825Not at all; I too wish to be carried around by a big, strong man or woman.
>>97908816>>97908883After checking; https://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=melony_%28pokemon%29+official_art+This seems to be an official thick woman
>>97908903'official''thick''woman'
>>97908909>'thick'>'official'>'woman'Are you connected to another reality where Melony is a twink OC?
>>97908867>grow bigger and biggerThat only happens once. You refresh the immortality, but growing larger only happens once. Also, if you get the Arc-one, it can shrink you so there's no difference at all.>>97908903Yeah, Melony was thickest one that came to mind. That's the trainer I used for Signature Ice. She was a gym leader in gen 8, depending on which game you chose.
>>97908926>That only happens once. You refresh the immortality, but growing larger only happens once. Also, if you get the Arc-one, it can shrink you so there's no difference at all. That is not what the option says. It says as a side effect that you become twice as tall, and that the effects (which implies also side-effects since side-effects are an effect) need to be reapplied every few centuries.
>>97908925Oops, wrong reality, my bad.
>>97908941Well there was only so much room in the text box. I had to cut corners.
>>97908941>>97908948There, I updated the addendum page to clarify that.
>>97906383Huh I won the honorable 2nd place? And all I had to do was... make a cyoa?Weird, is making cyoas such a powerful secret move? Why aren't more people doing it? Don't they know how great it is?And congratulations to LotM, the winner.
