what a dogshit choice of OP image, my god
The drones are near completion. Eyes need to stand out more and bases should be done as well.
Did I zenithal prime correctly? I used an airbrush and just held the grey primer at an angle
>>97975477How big is that thing compared to a regular human or a mounted soldier?
>>97975484also weirdly proportioned, no way you can rank those on 25x50mm bases
>>97975510>>97975484Here it is next to a primaris marine
>>97975477May have overdone it a little bit with the grey, you've not kept much of the black outside of the horses' legs, but it's not too badly done. You could also go in with a drybrush of white at the very top (holding the brush at a 90 degree angle to the base) just to get a bit of extra contrast in there on bits like the cloth folds
Nearly done with the tracked Repulsor IFV kitbash. It still needs some detailing (tarps, autoncannon spent casings, commander for the hatch, and more), filling up the holes, and complete cleanup, but most of the build is complete. Though I might scratchbuild larger slat armor.
>>97975543awesomewhat do you use to cut big parts like that hull?
>>97975563I've used razor saws in the past, but they are usually a bit too bulky and leave pretty rough cuts. Some time ago, I bought a DSPIAE hand saw, and that's what I use now. It's a bit pricier, but it cuts even through harder plastic with no issue, and the cuts are very neat.
>>97975580this thing?i have a similar tamiya/olfa branded one and i find the blade to be too bendy
Troll thread, don't post here and wait for proper one.
When do you decide to strip a mini and start over?
>>97975592Yeah, exactly that one. The blades are replaceable, and you can get taller blades, too. I generally really enjoy DSPIAE stuff, it's like my fourth thing from them, and it always works great. I did not have a problem with the blade being bendy, which is something that annoyed me to no end with those little individual razor saws you can buy in scale model stores. No clue how it compares to Tamiya/Olfa, never used those.
>>97975609When I don't like but the paint layers are getting too thick.
>>97975594Well, OP was here, and I was not. Gotta give credit where credit is due.>>97975698>>97975698>>97975698
