That’s a fair point. The other option could be a small joint like what was used for scarves/long fabric on figures like Vash or Psylocke, but that would have also been a bit odd.

How do they compare articulation wise? Slightly more articulated I assume.

It's just Figma dropping the ball. Hasbro's print deco work is better and more consistent and has been for years, even at 1:18 scale. Mafex isn't the best at it, but they're still better with it than Figma. Pretty much every company uses it these days with more success. Even Mattel.

Do you have link to a specific video? I found the RSC review but he didn't compare it to the Actic Gear RSC, he compared it to the Actic Gear Next Burglarydog which is significantly different from the regular Actic Gear Scopedog. However, I noticed that the lower torso hatch of the Toyrise opens, which Actic Gear doesn't do.

I see they now branch into Bayverse too, I saw many Transformers G1 AMK Mini Series figures at my local store, are they good? I might get them. I like that they are cheap and wonder if the quality is good.

OK honest opinions, please. I had gotten a shit-grade Bandai FF8 Edea as a place-holder until a better one came along, (and it did). So now that I have two I decided to paint the placeholder one all-black in place of the Bandai paint job. Ignoring the frayed capes and missing crown pieces, does it look better in all-black or how Bandai painted it?

Half random figs from pop culture - Mars Attacks, Universal horror etc.
Half random generic non-IP stuff (XesRay, D13) or figures that at least looks generic. I quite like plain figures, like a simple lizardman or a skeleton.

Hi /toy/, I have a 25" NECA Balrog from 2004 and over the years it has started to warp and loosen up at the leg joints under its own weight. I'm wondering what would be the best way to keep this thing standing.

>drill peg holes into bottom of feet and create a stand that keeps the legs from spreading apart
>glue all leg joints (the articulation here is pointless anyway)
>heat gun to attempt to fix the warped tail and/or warped leg

Any ideas?

>>11659373
You've been trolling everybody in this thread that has an unfavorable opinion about the Balrog for days. You've been trolling the entire board all Christmas because you are sad and miserable. Don't pretend to be the victim now because you got some clapback on one of your shitty trolling attempts.
>>
>>11659382
>anyone who disagrees with me is a troll, and my opinion of everything I hate being shit is absolute!
You are such a miserable person.

It really is a good toy, and it's worth fixing loose joints to. And even the best-quality toys do get loose joints. You're acting like that's something exclusive to NECA while selectively ignoring that the toy is nearly a quarter-century old.
>>
>>11659374
>But you're ONCE AGAIN doing that thing you do where you decide that your opinion is how everyone should feel about a given item.
I'm not the one attacking people because i disagree with their opinion. I'm telling the person attacking me that he is a miserable sack of shit. The person that, FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, decided to tell me I'm full of shit because my experience with the figure matched someone else who had issues with it.

I love my Blue Archive plushes.

What is there even to say about bionicle, except that it was intended as a 3 year theme, that quickly ballooned out of control?

Why did we do a 2 year flashback arc?

did the guy who wrote it really know the whole thing was a robot from the beginning? if thats true how would the end of year 3 had been changed?

why is Makuta Mata Nui's brother, when the two are completely different species?

is the red star really supposed to be a failed organ transplant?

what happened on the southern islands, and why is it so mysterious?

why was the mask of time and light so important? we shift all their power of to the mask of life, during ignition anyway.

What was the glatorian reboot supposed to accomplish, if it carries all the baggage from ignition?

Did anyone else just like bionicles without the lore? like my favorite concept of them was just a bunch of robots waking up on an island. It was fun and mysterious; I'd see a cool scene from a commercial and that's all I ever needed.

OG Optimus.

I was slightly too young to get into Transformers in it's heyday but I caught the show on reruns a few years later. My older cousin used to have a lot of the toys since he was the perfect age in the 80s to get them, but few survived his childhood.
I used to really want an Optimus but they were not found any longer. My neighbors, these two girls somehow did have one in their pile of toys so I played with theirs for a while. I managed to grab the reissue one later on when Gen 2 came out.
