Heresy Era legions did, often multiple different types, but its far less common in "modern" chapters. The black armoured White Scars ones in >>11652191 are called "Ebon Keshig" and are essentially a punishment battalion. For failing at some task or dishonouring themselves or the chapter they aren't allowed to Go Fast like their brothers and have to wade into the nastiest combats like siege vanguards to soak up punishment with their bodies. If they survived their assignments all was forgiven.and they were often allowed to either go back to what they were doing or were reassigned to new posts. They also had some more normal Terminators acting as bodyguards or leaders, like this guy.

Get 2 rust oil washes, one dark one light for metals. It'll kill the gloss and look sick. Just go slow and light. Dark rust first over more areas, then light only at areas that has recently rusted.

Any droplets, etc. use gloss varnish.

Buy streaking grime oil wash for everything else and streak it.

>can't imagine a toy has the same handicap as you
>need a major company to TELL YOU AND SELL YOU a toy has your handicap
The parents are the ones that need to be convinced into buying this shit. They know the kid would want something cool and different from them, not a constant reminder they're fundamentally different and a burden on everyone.

They should really sell these dolls with play accessories and give them jointed bodies rather than just a bland static doll with a single cheap outfit, my favourite Barbies as a young autist were the ones with good quality clothes and extras so I could imagine what she was doing, thinking of outfits for her, using my cousin’s action man accessories with her so she could be a spy etc. So whilst it’s nice I think actual kids with downs will kind of like her but not get too much play from her unless they have a bunch of extra stuff, because they probably already have Barbies with MTM bodies that are more fun.

In elementary school we'd bounce balls as hard as possible in the washroom to see how crazy we could make the boucing until it inevitably ending up in the toilet. Boing!
>>
When I was in 2nd grade one of the recess ladies gave us these reflex balls to play with, we would spike it into the ground and see who could catch it first.

Me and my best friend had bouncy balls, our play included forming tribes of bouncy balls with social hierarchy and drama, having them engage in combat, building them mud settlements and having bounce height contests between the tribes.

I also had one of these and I chewed it open to free the pikachu inside as I was not allowed sharp knives at that age. This was not a true bouncy ball for the bouncy ball tribe as it contained a captive pikachu.

I never had pathetic toys although I didn't really have many toys to be honest
Smallest, cheapest toys were likely things like knock-off versions of whatever was a hot wheels in those days.
>>
>>11645533
I had them too, at one point I did become super obsessed with them as well. A part of it was really just the collection of all different characters, they even got the Simpsons IP at some point and they made some interesting shit like one Christmas they had a race track kinda like hot wheels.

And just like that as soon as they appeared they were gone from everyone's memory. Tbh that's also when my toy collecting started to decline

I remember seeing this in stores and my 7 year old self didn't give a shit since it wasn't from the movies...then I played SotE and wanted it so bad but couldn't find it.
>>
>>11650772
It really was, I got a N64 for christmas in 1996, then in January my parents take me to see Star Wars A New Hope, It was the greatest thing I had ever seen, I went to the store and they had tons of figures of characters that i had no idea who they were and I could only imagine. It didn't take long since the next month The empire strikes back came out in theaters and I was blown away, I got some toys and love the first two movies and then bam out of nowhere just a month later Return of the Jedi comes out, I watch it and fucking loved it. Got more figures as well to go along with the movie, including some Shadows of the Empire toys, at this point I knew who all the characters were but didn't know who the SOTE guys were, and then I realize one day that there's a N64 game called that so I get it for my birthday along with the VHS trilogy of star wars (which were actually the non-special edition versions, as a kid I just thought they removed stuff from the VHS releases which is why there was no jabba in ANH for example). So much star wars in such little time. I was hyped as fuck for The Phantom Menace, hell the whole world was, but the toys, the video games, they didn't hit the same despite me still being a kid.

What is there even to say about bionicle, except that it was intended as a 3 year theme, that quickly ballooned out of control?

Why did we do a 2 year flashback arc?

did the guy who wrote it really know the whole thing was a robot from the beginning? if thats true how would the end of year 3 had been changed?

why is Makuta Mata Nui's brother, when the two are completely different species?

is the red star really supposed to be a failed organ transplant?

what happened on the southern islands, and why is it so mysterious?

why was the mask of time and light so important? we shift all their power of to the mask of life, during ignition anyway.

What was the glatorian reboot supposed to accomplish, if it carries all the baggage from ignition?

Did anyone else just like bionicles without the lore? like my favorite concept of them was just a bunch of robots waking up on an island. It was fun and mysterious; I'd see a cool scene from a commercial and that's all I ever needed.

Someone explain Bionicle to me. I'm looking for pure 2000s feel. What should I watch? I think I don't want a summary but rather see/read the entire thing. What have I gotten myself into?

Wow, somehow I never knew these ever existed. Grinch even has way more articulation than I would have thought.

Apparently Storm does still have the ability to release Mortal Kombat figures--they have not lost whatever license they had--as they are reissuing Nightwolf. Does this mean they could actually release new MK figures or did the line not end up doing so well by the end so you'd think they're just trying to get the most of their molds?

Also I never noticed how ugly their knee joints are...
>>
>>11641608
knees are terrible
>>
>>11641608
eh, I feel they could roll out the Cyborgs and Ninjas again and make cash so I'm unsure they be motivated to roll out new figures
>>
I wish Storm would do some more Soul Calibur. Quitting after 2 characters is pathetic. Why even aquire the license and start making them at all if you aren't going to give it a better effort?
>>
>>11651254

Happy they are indoors and under your tree. The small square plaid cardboard box that just has the green lid on top, with the dark ribbon/bow - and the red label with the white snowflake, you can open that if you want, it's in lieu of a stocking.

I was going to send a red stocking with the initial "A" on it and some canned local craft beer from my city and the area, since I'm someone else who would have appreciated that, but since I wasn't 100% sure that was you, and the box I used was nearly perfect to ship and had no extra space, that box is where your treats are. So you can open it up NOW or wait till next Thursday. The treats will certainly keep.

The white and blue ornaments slip inside each other, as shown here:
https://imgur.com/a/9MfMhFv,
and you can hang them on a tree or they will stand on a table, mantle, etc.

Glad you are happy. Let's see if you are happy once you open them! I'm curious to hear your opinions.
