Absolutely HAS to. There is no other option, and that has to be adjusted for when designing and tooling the figure. So the diaper has to be very thin in the middle, but not too thin that it will easily break. Then the rest of the ass needs to be attached to the legs so it will look natural, not like some painted on halloween costume latex asscrack people wear to parties to prank their friends.

Cammy seems like an incredibly tricky design to nail if you want to make her as articulated as any other figure in the line and look as aesthetically pleasing at the time same time because of her skin tight high riding leotard. It's obviously easier to hide joints with pants or dress skirt. If a good looking butt pose matters so much to a collector, then they're better off getting a statue with that pose.

Or at least that is who will get them first. Maybe some smaller toy stores will get them a few months later. But risk that and you risk missing the figure. I'm incredibly impressed by how well they nailed his look, how he feels, and how he articulates. I thought I was gonna prefer him without the cape but no, it makes him just ooze powerful regal evil. Ryu is a decent figure in comparison but really great if you compare it to the average Marvel Legend that runs for around the same price. Highly recommended.
Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed the new line is Scooby Doo and I hope it fails. Never was a fan of that cartoon and the articulation cut right in the middle of Shaggy's figure looks crap. I will say though the mummy figure looks pretty good for a generic cartoon munmy.

Ken could've been an alternative but I'd rather have them release the main character first so they can see whether there is an overall demand for the line and whether people like the toys at their "worst". Every wave from that point on was way better and as you said, especially Dhalsim, a known side character, having such great quality speaks for the overall quality of the line. Imo, the only way they could improve were some of the headsculpts and the number of accessories. The latter is a rather complicated topic because I also understand they want to get people to buy recolours through the accessories
