I don't even think the Bleach stuff is that bad, other than Ichigo. Renji and Byakuya turned out pretty well aside from the knees. It's a little odd to me that Ichigo is so much worse given the short gap in release between all the Bleach figures so far. His faces are just off in a way the others aren't.

Those are 2 separate things that have nothing to do with each other. Buffa is cross compatible with Geats as much as every other Rider in the line, the problem is the lack of compound eye colors for other Buckles that isn't Zombie (Magnum works though, the eye colors are close enough that even in the show they didn't bother to change it) and his half butt-cape was permanently attached to his legs so giving him any Buckle legs won't have his butt-cape on. Buffa Fever form fixed that alongside giving him yellow compound eyes that makes Buffa Boost form accurate. If I have to guess either Bandai is lazy for not adding in the Jyamashin head and cape to the Fever form set since that's all that it adds to or they plan to release it as an option set of sorts in the future like how the Entry Form set came with heads for Command Geats, Tycoon and Buffa.

SS Kamen Rider Baron finally arrived and let me just say that Bandai did a good job updating him however there is a caveat. They dropped the ball on the undersuit red color scheme. The original was a nice metallic red, the new one has metallic red on the helmet, forearm guards and leg armor but everywhere else the red is just normal red.

The red in person looks kinda like the same sort of red plastic that Bandai would use on their average Sentai Robo/Megazord. It's cheap red plastic, not as bad as the Candy toys but definitely not the metallic red finish that the original toy had. Oh well, at least the toy still has some good points.

I'm not a huge Baron fan but I have to admit he's really cool and one of the higher up Secondary Rider for me. I like that the banana makes for a pretty solid armor with big shoulder pads and a banana peeled lance. And the color scheme is nice too, oh yeah the silver is painted and well made at that too.

If Baron gets a point knocked off for the flat red plastic they used then he gained a point back for the extra articulation that he has in comparison to Gaim. His forearm guards actually swivel and can do a complete 360 if you want body horror, it makes posing with his lance a lot easier to set up and everything. He can also look up more than Gaim, mainly due to the Banana helmet being more similar and less restrictive than the Orange helmet whose size ends up clashing with the body.

As I mentioned way back with Gaim, the Shinkocchou Seihou Gaim line reintroduces the form change gimmick unlike the original toyline so you can actually swap around the Fruit Arms and get the side forms without having to buy another entirely new figure like in the old line. The TV show had the Banana Arms torso piece lifted straight from Baron and placed onto Gaim so the toy can recreate that by allowing Gaim's chest piece to be replaced with Baron's chest piece to recreate the look. However that does deprive Baron of his chest and ability to wear any Arms.

You can give Baron Gaim's chest piece so here's what he looks with it and the Orange Arms. Not that noticeable so it can work but for consistency sake (especially since Gaim's chest piece is meant to remain metallic blue whenever he form changes) and so that both can wear Arms at the same time it's best to leave the chest piece as is.

And here they are together with their Arms swapped. I am a sucker for sidegrade form changes and concept forms so I'm going to keep them this way until whatever Fruit Arms Bandai will make comes out like the Pine and Ichigo Arms set that's coming soon (and ridiculously expensive for what you get).
All in all, Baron is a get if you're invested in the SS Gaim line otherwise maybe get him on a sale if you feel like it. If it weren't for the form change gimmick he could be a pass if you're not a huge fan of the character. Definitely an upgrade over the original toy though the original still has some merits thanks to the metallic red.

I dropped naruto and bleach early as well (just recently watched the first 220 naruto), but in comparison One Piece was written so much better with so many clever callbacks and eastereggs.
I can totally understand being reticent to start a new line though when you already have so many on the go. I am in a very similar boat and regret getting into Storm even though the figures are great. If it's just the east blue crew you want I'd recommend grabbing just luffy, nami and zoro for now and then waiting for usopp and sanji rather than trying to get everything. You will probably want Ace soon though.

Part of the reason I have such FOMO on the romance Dawn characters plus Ace that are announced/currently releasing. The character designs suffered more than the rest of the manga imo. To capitalize on the audience. Since R&D takes at minimum a year, it's always a gamble to work on something before it takes off. You could argue the same for Demon Slayer.
It seems they wait until a show is on it's penultimate season, since the finale is usually the the most watched part and then they have products they can sell alongside it.
The new FotM lines usually flop.

Articulation doesn’t look as good as the revo’s, he looks really stiff in that crouching pose. The faces also lean towards the figma’s which I wasn’t a fan of. I can see getting the SHF for Demon Slayer over Buzzmod or Figma, but SHF MHA isn’t convincing me so far. They really need to make characters we don’t already have figures of.

They'll get there eventually if the line runs long enough, but no new line is going to skip the most popular characters in a series just because other lines have made them before. They'd just be leaving money on the table from people who skipped them previously or who want all their figures from a series in the same style.

I forgot to mention the ones I got for cheaper than bandais pricing were kamen rider figures like rogue/metal cluster hopper/kuuga rising ult and popular characters like z(the gaia/tiga/dyna combo form) and belial atrocious for example. Those sold out quickly at first but eventually the stock remained consistent (at the time) and I was able to easily get it below MSRP before shipping.
Dunno how it is right now though.
