The more I look at them, the more I really am starting to believe those Animal Crossing houses are some of the best single story house builds they’ve released in terms of balancing affordability, display, and play. It’s a shame they’re tied to a license in the way that they are. I think many are overlooking them because of it, but I’m not complaining about the discounted prices I’m seeing in stores.

I subdivide this boxes into 4 with those plastic food storage tubs you often get when you order chinese. First unit one has mostly bricks and brick adjacent things, second one is just plates, 3rd is tiles, snot bricks, jumper plates and slopes, last one is wedge plates, modified plates, and other miscellaneous medium sized pieces. Pieces that are too large (big wheels, baseplates, ect) go in a big box unsorted. Really small bits (anything 1x1, or sometimes 1x2) go in another drawer unit, ones of those ones typically used for organising screws. Those ones are usually 1 piece type per draw, but sometimes I subdivide the draws if I don't have much of a specific piece.

Most of my AliExpress order came in today. 5 spotted goats for $1.75 and the dragon was $2.50.Not pictured, but I also got in 2 horses, 3 Lion Knight soldiers, 2 Black Falcon soldiers and a 52 pack of Yellow heads to replace all the fleahies I have/will get.Still waiting on a generic soldier minifigure, a 5 pack of black medieval helmets and a 5 pack of Dragon Master shields.The dragon had extra plastic around his nose needing trimmed and one horse had its left head misprint and his eye on his nose. Just gonna rub it out and Gundam marker a new eye.Overall, feels pretty good for $26. My Goat guy feels complete now with a whole group

The rounded plates from the AC sets can have a minifigure, detailed terrain, and is big enough for brick built enemies and monsters if they so choose. It’s just a hunch, but if they don’t have one in the works I bet a table top idea got scrapped.

Onky issue is feather pegs are too thick for normal helmets and their helmets hole is extra small and can't even properly fit a Lego feather and outright won't go in the helmets they came with.
