Dreamzzz is clearly on life support because they want to push it, (maybe) not due to wanting to force slop on us, but because they already invested a lot into it like a TV show so they want to milk the most out of it, I really don't think it sells well. There is not many heads like this because they usually only do coloured eyes for aliens or monsters, it's rare to get a normal human with coloured eyes in lego.

I recently got out of my dark age and bought two sets I always wanted as a kid: 6575 Polar Base and 7315 Solar Explorer. I was very disappointed with the quality of the bricks I received. These were original 20+ year old bricks and they felt very brittle and dull. Like they didn't feel as soft and flexible as I remember. It felt like if I were to bend them a little bit they would snap. I didn't feel like I could take this set apart again and again and moc with these bricks or anything as they would probably crack. Is that usual for old bricks? Is that normal aging? Is it bricks of the 90s specifically? Did I get a bad batch? Lego YouTubers always talk about washing bricks. Would that solve the issue?

Why should we care about the same shit in a different setting?
If you expected a new proper Castle theme then tough luck since it doesn't fit in with ANY other Castle theme in Lego's history.
In fact, each wave more and more threw the "Knights" and "medieval" elements out of the window to the point where the final one might as well have been a Space theme.
99% of the sets were also just vehicles so you don't even get to create a proper sci-fi Castle world - no cyber windmills, no techno villages, no data dungeon, nothing but two castles and an add-on for the Fortrex (which I count as a vehicle) - ffs, the second wave of NK was ruin-themed and the only piece of ruin was a small side-build in a store-exclusive set
Speaking of the second wave, it was basically just the first one with a shittier color scheme instead of any of those cool monster tribes they teased in that Book of Monsters.

Also, a personal peeve: aesthetically it felt like as if they wanted to harken back to the Classic Space themes from the 80s and 90s with all the angles and parts that look like the ones from that era but it kinda resulted in some of the builds looking outdated or flat out embarrassing with the two worst offenders being the clunkychunky bike in the Fortrex and the small vehicle in the Rolling Arsenal that doesn't even seems to be finished.

this is the kind of lameass interiors a $400, $430 and $460 set gets you. you're criticizing a $360 set that has more usable exterior space than them and still has to feature a giant dragon and other brickbuilt creatures, of course compromises had to be made. there's zero evidence the theme is to continue, it's an ideas set for the 50th anniversary, the goal was making something that encapsulates the entire brand in a single model and they accomplished it, the fact that it manages to suggest the whole adventure is part of what makes it so great. having a single more detailed place to be the only lego dnd thing youll ever get would be so depressing. imagine if they had no intention of continuing zelda so the full extent of lego zelda representation would be a giant tree

you KNOW if this was D&D the "theme" it would be several sets $20-$120 with all the figures spread out among the various sets.
