I kind of what it to happen, nothing against ML's Spot cause he's a cool and expressive toy despite the limitations, but I'm interested in a possible Mafex or SHF one. In that case my only option is to wait and see then.

Never knew ol’Drac had such a big pale noggin, probably one smart fellow. I also didn’t know he shops at thrift stores for his clothes KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE
>>
So in an effort to sell some stuff from my collection I no longer wanted I took a big box of stuff to a used toy shop. I had a number of things, Marvel Legends, Marvel Select's, some DC figs, ect. They wouldn't take any of it, mainly because they had plenty of stock, but the owner did mention how the Marvel Select figures never seem to really move. I had a few sealed ones p, including some that go for a decent amount of money, but he didn't want them. I thought that was interesting, no one seems to buy Select's.

I did end up finding an ML Electro for $30, one of the last Spidey villains I'm missing, so that was cool.

No shit. It seriously took a toy shop owner telling you they were shit for you to realize that? Just about every single figure is scaled badly, has decades-old outdated articulation, and shitty sculpts.

>>
>>11228560
It's not even that you buy expensive imports along with bootlegs, it's that you and others are basically shilling them at this point. Makes me think the majority of the people, not necessarily you, doing it are just poors.

Even if they are at least they get to enjoy a hobby with stuff they normally wouldn't otherwise. I haven't stopped by in a bit and did so because Wolverine came in. I did the Spider-Man lineup because I figured maybe someone would find it interesting. As far as shilling goes I guess it kind of is but not my intent either. I feel they're more worth it than some ML's. I'd recommend the CT brown suit over the Secret Wars Wolverine coming out for instance. Though I also really liked the ML movie Carnage figure as a big menacing variant. He needs a bit of a wash on his back but that's easy. Really I just throw what limited money I have at the things I think will keep my anxiety at bay long enough for the next item and so on.
>>
>>11228562
Hey hasfag, it’s me the hasblo hater. I personally don’t like the mafex brown wolverine but the reasons many others do is because they absolutely MOG your shitty low shoulder brown wolvie, even the bootleg curbstomps it. So keep seething your legendslop is equivalent to the bootlegs, if not less than equivalent.
>>
>>11228566
I get you, and I'm actually on the fence about actually getting the Brown Suit Wolverine, despite already having the ML, just see what all the fuss is about. But, if you're a regular around here you know that there are certain, incredibly vocal anons that will shill anything that isn't a Hasbro product. I mean look at the post below yours that I'm not even going to dignify with a reply.

I chalk it up to shiposters or crazy fans, both of which don't really deserve attention. I'd say if you're really curious to go ahead and pick up the Wolverine, but also know that there's always a chance of some kind of flub. I don't mind this as I'm fine with fiddling/fixing figures as it gives me something to do. Like my Tobey's neck peg broke, so I had to use a small screw I had floating around to make a new one. Not perfect, but works just fine too. I could have probably avoided that all together if I had some kind of shock oil but I don't.

>>11228583
Believe me I know. My lighting is kind of shit. I'll take shots without the flash and with and go back and forth on which looks better. Here's one without the flash on.
>>
>>11228562
I care more about the quality of the product or whether it can serve the purpose I'm look for than brand, and normally I only buy bootleg for making customs and kitbashes like this>>11228263. In the past I have brought a ko mafex A3 Thor to use the elbow joint to fix my broken legit mafex Thor and now the ko cape is sitting on my custom comic Thor based on the more recent design.
>>
any good cyclops figures
>>
>>11228589
I really just want to know how it stacks up to bootlegs I've gotten in the bpast. I've gotten several and they've all ranged from terrible to shit so I don' t have high hopes, that's why I don't really believe the people saying that they're better than MLs. I'll probably give either Wolverine or Agent Anti Venom a try, but I'm going to remain skeptical until I have first hand experience with them myself.
>>
>>11228617
There are so many reviews of this figure on Youtube now and every one is basically saying the same things that this is probably the best Mafex bootleg ever. To even compare this to a marvel legends that will actually cost you more is crazy. The CT KO mogs every ML Wolverine. Look at the ML Wolverines shoulders and neck area its ridiculous the porportions they use on his buck.

>>
>>11228763
Yeah its a solid figure. Feels just like a legit AY. It's heavy and the joints are all smooth and tight. The accessories are very well done. No weird warping or fitment issues. The paint o. The tentacles for example is super clean and glossy.
>>
>>11228769
I'm not really a fan of AY cause their overall design is usually off a lot from the originals. The Agent Venoms seem to fit though with it being tactical gear.

Yeah he's worth it in general. With coupons on Ali Express you could potentially get it for under 20 and it's an all around solid figure. It's so much better than the ML you can't even really compare them. If you are fan of the figure it's your only option other than the ML and not only is it cheaper but it's mogs it in every way possible.

CT is shaping up to be more like a third party seller with how good their stuff is in comparison to bootlegs. They're also coming out with the tiger stripe Wolverine some time this month if you'd prefer that. Just make sure you're buying from a proper seller. I'd suggest toy planet store on Ali as I've never had issues with them.

I mean, I have to assume you guys can't afford $25 toys since that's mainly what you all bitch about. Now you're gushing over bootlegs, and I'm sorry but a bootleg is a bootleg is a bootleg. Even a good bootleg is still just that, a bootleg.
>>
>>11229548
Nta but while I have never bothered to even look up Mafex or other imports, I did look up reviews for the CT figures. If the only downside is the size of the figures and the quality is basically the same as the originals, what exactly should be the reason to buy the originals if you don't care about the size in your opinion?

After seeing the guy post the black suit Spidey in a prior thread, I thought about getting him just to fidget around with him from time to time. Sure, a bootleg is a bootleg but that doesn't mean one shouldn't be able to shill bootlegs in these threads like anything else Marvel related
>>
>>11229548
I don't buy bootlegs lol, it's simple: even for 25, Marvel Legends is shit. It's hilarious, whenever someone points out at shit ML, the white knights arrive with the same "oh, so you're poor, ML is great for that price", no you imbeciles, Marvel Legends is shit even at that price. There are a shit ton of brands making better product at that range.
>>
>>11229552
>If the only downside is the size of the figures and the quality is basically the same as the originals
You can see just from pictures that isn't the case.
>>
>>11229553
I mean that's your prerogative and you're free to dislike whatever you want, but I'll just never understand this thing you do where you insert yourself into a discussion about MLs or whatever just to voice your distaste for them. It's like, we get it dude, you don't like MLs. You don't need to remind us every other day. I don't like Todd's DC Multiverse line, but I don't go into the DC thread and complain about the toys existing every two days. I just don't buy them, and move on with my life. Maybe I'm just not autistic enough to give a shit what random anonymous posters on 4chan that I'll never meet in real life do with their own money.
>>
I received the CT Toys Wolverine today. I don't own the original figure to compare it to, but quality-wise, it is indistinguishable from my other Mafexes. Joints are tight but not too tight. Paint apps flawless, even on the unmasked head. Sculpt crisp. I struggled to find something wrong with it but came up empty. Even the fine arm hair is tampoed on perfectly.

This is the best $25 toy I've gotten in years. Maybe even the last decade. It's actually that good. And I am actually a regular bootleg buyer so I know what the spread looks like. This is unreal quality for a KO, it tops damn near every one I've ever bought.
>>
>>11229565
I don't know man, I'm waiting for mine to arrive but I'm not sure if I'll have the same statement. I really love Jada's Street Fighter and Classified Series. I guess I'll be back when I get Logan.
>>
>>11229565
Fine, enough of you have convinced me to order it. I should get him in a week or so. I'm still reserving my judgement until I get the figure, but you've all peaked my curiosity enough to try out Wolvie. Don't really care to grab any of the other stuff they've done so far except for maybe Agent Anti Venom since I already own all the original figures.

What's the biggest Hulk figure ever? Legends and all imports are usually too small. So Select? Some chinks KOs?

Guess what boy? People can like overpriced garbage, and that's absolutely fine, I love some Marvel Legends myself, but people is also in the right to point out just how terribly awful those figures are.
>>

Maybe Hot Toys? I don't know man, you mean like in-scale with 6 inch? I remember Marvel Icons Hulk being big, but it's been years.
Personally, I don't like giant Hulk, he usually isn't that big, I have the Marvel Legends one hunched so he can be the perfect size.
>>11229580
Same here, I'm picking Wolvie specifically due to CT's downscale. All their other figs are just too small for my taste.

>>
>>11229576
I also love Jada's SF stuff and the few Classifieds I own. This doesn't feel anything like those, it's harder plastic and feels more delicate as a result (as befitting a higher end collector figure). As I said, it feels like my other Mafexes really. It doesn't feel fragile, but it's clearly not one of those gummy plastic figures you can bash around with no worry. Stuff like the boot tips and mask "ears" have some flex to them, but the claws are pretty hard plastic to keep their shape. Those will be the most delicate part of it.

I think you will likely be pleased so long as you're ok with that. It's a very well made figure.

Probably HT Avengers Hulk, it's listed as 16in/40cm. The smart Hulk from Endgame is much smaller. However, there is this chinese knock off (picrel) that is basically a huge 5POA figure that reaches 22in/55cm. Can't find any review so would advise caution, but I saw some guys who bought on reddit and it seems to be the exact size they announced.
>>
>>11229581
That Immortal Hulk from Marvel Select is probably the best giant Hulk that scales well with Legends. Sometimes Hulk is huge, sometimes he's just big though so it depends what you're looking for. His size is inconsistent in comics. Perez Hulk for instance is more in range of Marvel Legends Hulks. But those giant Select Hulks work well for the upper range.

CT Tiger Striper Wolverine is out December 31st. Can't wait to get it and im going all in on these CT Mafex releases. Scale issues dont matter that much when you have a whole line to scale them against.
>>
>>11230206
I heard CT added a boot swivel to brown Wolverine that wasn't on the original. So I hope they also fix the problems with the tiger stripe, like the metallic blue and the blue stripes. In my wildest dreams they would also do an alternate set of clawed hands in a different style, cause there have been so many, but I acknowledge this is unrealistic, especially at these low price points.
>>
>>11230185
He doesn't really care. He's already made the money once retailers order them.
>>
>>11230211
>added a boot swivel
I see a number of collectors online praising this and I dont understand why. Do people not understand the whole point of an ankle joint is to be able to swivel the feet left and right while having a hinge? So there's no need for a boot swivel at all.
>>
>>11230185
Because articulated figures can't look good and also be cheap anymore. So for his pride he makes statues that look "good" but don't have articulation, and to pay the bills he makes articulated figures

I thought that at first too, then it occurred to me that Wolverine doesn't have a straight line across his boot tops, he has those flared things. I can see a use case for wanting them to be shifted more to one side or the other for certain poses. I have been able to use it as such in my posing, and it does make a difference. It's not a mandatory joint by any means, but I like the fact that we have more to work with.

For people who live within the designated shipping areas, it is free. The fact that you had to pay extra is due to the fact you use a forwarder, you knew what you signed up for, and if you had any sort of issue it would cost extra. You didn't pay Hasbro, you paid your shipper. Quit trying to make it sound like you got ripped off when you knowingly took this risk. And it's $5, holy fuck.

>>
>>11231813
What do you mean how is it? What you see is what you get. Articulation is nothing special and it's missing some key POA (thighs), but that's Marvel Select for ya. It looks fine standing there, but don't expect it to get into any dynamic poses. Idk why you'd want to mix and match with Legends, but you do you.

So, are we just reposting supposed leaks now?
>>
>>11232369
No, now we're apparently reposting the same stuff, but formatted worse, in no order, plus missing some figures in the waves.
>>
I don't remenber if it was here but some people didn't like that Pym was 24 inches since that forces you to make him the centerpiece in your avengers display since he is guaranteed to be the most eye catching, so in turn you need to make the display around him
After watching some displays that anon was right i think, but i don't care since im a Pymchad and Pymnation was never so back as it is now.

I'm one of the people who skipped out on him since he was 24in. I already have the 12in one and even though the new one looks miles better, I prefer the sizing of the 12in one. It just looks better in an overall display imo.

What do you mean? The fan channel figures still get distributed the exact same way as what this graphic shows. Unless you're so fucking dumb you don't understand the graphic?

No thanks, I like to pose my figures, my mafex would do just fine.
>>
>>11232586
No one's suggesting to get the ML over the Mafex sweetie. But people were whining for weeks when X-Men 97 was airing that they couldn't get the wave 1 figures.

Sucks the relatively closest figure to the Rogue Capcom design is attached to a cartoon where she cvcks Gambit hard

I buy figures from Gamestop all the time.

Yes, fan channel stuff is found at EE, Gamestop, BBTS etc. Why is this so hard to understand?

Use clear fishing line instead of string. I have a handful of figures in flight or falling, I recently got the Dragonfly haslab so I have Crazylegs in a halo dive.
>>
>>11232418
Man those strings look goofy as fuck. You gotta find a better way, dood.
>>
>>11232450
They don't actually, You'd need to add Amazon to the US one, because Amazon has carried many waves they advertised as "fan channel"
>>
>>11232441
imagine the red is skin. oh mama.
>>
>>11232735
Ok? So the figures are even easier to get. We still never got an answer as to what problem the anon had with that Fan Channel retailer graphic.
>>
>>11232735
Fan Channel pretty much means Walmart and Target didn't want them so you can get them anywhere else that sells Legends.
>>
any asian, yuro or latin american anons find any fan channel stuff on their retailers?
>>
>>11233070
>Fan Channel
"Channel execlusive" or "retailer exclusive" means nothing except a very few event exclusive items for collectors in China and Hong Kong, you get everything from the same group of (mostly online) specialized retailers. The only difference is that popular items will be harder to get and sold at a mark up even for pre-order and the rest that no body wants are 25% off on day one.
>>
>>11233008
Walmart and target never seem to put up preorders for waves anymore so basically every wave is fan channel to me
>>
>>11233436
Do people actually pre order non exclusives through Target and Walmart? Both are so terrible at actually fulfilling pre orders that I can't imagine anyone using them over somewhere like Amazon or even BBTS. Only time I get nom exclusive figures from there is if I'm already at the store for something else and swing by the toy aisle.
>>
>>11233436
Walmart and Target have hardly carried any Legends at all this year. It's not 'just you'. Mass retail has almost entirely dropped Marvel Legends aside from multi packs.
>>
>>11233070
I find the fan channel exclusives here in Mexico in both Jugetron and Jugetilandia. Not always in Sears.
>>
>>11233456
I have a red card so i certainly do use target since i can get free shipping on a 25 dollar legend without having to bundle it with anything . Never had a cancelation from them but tons for walmart exclusives
>>
>>11233559
Not surprising, considering most legendslop sits and sits until someone buys them for fodder at a deep discount.

Yes, the belt that's on him in package is glued, but the picture shows a Marvel Legends belt swapped on. So, like, how snug is the Marvel Legends buckle belt vs. the CT X logo belt?
>>

The buckle belt is upside down too, unless the image is flipped horizontally.

Mondo is clearly higher quality. They just need to be treated with care. You can't 'play' with them or pose them a lot. They are collectibles and should be in neutral when not in use
>>
>>11235792
Can't tell if this post is being serious or not.
>>
>>11235965
It's true, it's just not convenient for those who want to treat these figures like a Marvel Legend or a McFarlane. They're closer to hot toys, thus the price range. Some people take the risk and leave their hot toys posed for long periods but it isn't really a good idea either.
