You guys think Impact Drake is gonna be good?
>>
>>11240586
at the very least, it'll definitely counter dragoon, ad if it sucks for attack i think it'll probably be good for defense
>>
>>11240586
I feel like that is a big ask, but I think it will at least be niche enough to be useful in certain matchups.

have you considered pulling just a little bit less hard
>>
>>11240778
How? I kinda get the string, if you can't control your own strength, but I can't figure out what you would've been doing to snap off the pulls on the ripcords. There's almost no resistance, so it's not like you can rip it off through regular use. I'd be lying if I said it didn't look like you just broke them yourself to post the picture.
>>
>>11240798
>I'd be lying if I said it didn't look like you just broke them yourself to post the picture.
I mean they're pretty obviously uniform and not the jagged messes you usually get with fucked up plastic
>>
>>11240801
I didn't look too close past my first glance, but it does look more deliberate the closer I look. The gold one even looks melted, like it's mushroomed out at the break line.

who the hell is making these trannylations of character descriptions of the xone characters?
>>

>>
No offense but why do modern Beys look so fucking soulless?

t. Grew up with plasticGen
>>
>>11240876
Soulless is an internet buzzword with no real meaning past "I don't like it," detail your actual opinion if you're not just trying to pick an argument.
>>
>>11240798
>>11240801
>>11240841
They broke from regular use. The "melted" part of the gold one is from where I tried to glue it back.

>>
>>11240881
>>11240920
Plastic Beys had so much more uniqueness and character in their designs compared to Metal Beyblades, which all tend to look the same. Take the bit beasts, for example, they are fully illustrated, badass creatures on the plastic Beys, whereas on the metal ones, they look like soulless corporate logos.
>>
>>11240946
>they look like soulless corporate logos
Nonsense. Just buy the Beyblade.
>>
>>11240999
is it legal for me to sticker over these fucks yet?
>>
>>11241030
arent they just copies of existing beys anyway?
>>
>>11240946
You're delusional, they're supposed to be reminiscent of sports team logos, it's part of the whole "gear sports" thing. The fact that you don't see the original designs as "generic anime monsters" shows that this is a nostalgia thing, nothing more. The brainrot has fully set in if you seriously see bland corporate boogymen behind every corner.
>>
>>11241078
not him but anime monster is cooler than sports logo imo
>>
>>11240891
Regular use hasn't broken mine or any of the original ripcords I had 20 years ago, I'm honestly wondering *how* you broke them. Pulling the cord shouldn't apply any sort of stress that would cause them to break like this, unless they're factory defects or shitty bootlegs.
>>
>>11241082
In some cases, sure. Looking back at my old plastic ones, there's too much detail for the small surface, so a lot of it is lost. X icons make much better use of the space, even if there's still a better balance to be found between detailed drawings and 2-tone emblems.
>>
>>11241086
>there's too much detail for the small surface
to an extent i agree but its also what its tied to like dransword is just a generic dragon while dragoon for example is a pretty unique design
>>
>>11240876
nah, I'm happy X looks pretty good and they aren't the visual diarrhea that was the second half of Burst
>>
>>11241107
it doesnt have to be one or the other, I think X looks better than burst but it still looks worse than metal fight and plastic gen
>>
>>11240778
>>11240798
I agree with 98. There's absolutely no way you can break a ripcord by accident. Especially not with that clean a cut. It's at least 2,5 mms thick of plastic that is supposed to be kept straight. If you're going to cut a ripcord and glue them together Tyson style, just post that, it'll be fun to see. Use plastic cement though, not super glue.

Keep in mind that X is still on its first system. If/When a 4th part gets added in, the designs will get more complex. Even with the last few releases, like Impact Drake, the designs have been getting busier. There's only so much you can do with one blade layer.
>>
>>11241107
If I had to rate each generation it'd be as follows:
Burst = Bakuten < X < Metal Saga.

I always enjoyed how outlandish and unique each beyblade looked in Bakuten Shoot, and when I first watched Burst's anime it felt like a successor in terms of how the original beyblades were designed to the point I actually started collecting again. X felt kind of bland at first, but the overall bey designs are improving, but it still has a feeling of generic since the goal is to have a more even playing field. Metal Saga I just like to forget exists because that era in general made me feel I was done with Beyblade due to how bland the overall system was.
>>
>>11241199
yeah I do think the beys are starting to look better like the UX stuff definitely looks more interesting than what came before it, and impact drake does remind me of older plastic gen style beyblades
>>
>>11241107

I skipped Burst because it was so different from what I was used to in MFB. When I look up endgame Burst Beys, I just think they look like preschooler scribble art. The word "overdesigned" gets thrown around a lot these days, but it suits them.
>>
>>11240863
Is it wide/thick enough? Isn't it like 45mm which is around Rhino width?
>>
Gimme some combos to test on Samurai. So far I'm liking Level on Dragoon but Elevate really does get better results against Silver Wolf and Wizard Rod, they literally can't beat it.
>>
>>11241598
Since Level is wide, I'd say it still allows for spin steal but definitely not a lot when the opponent is tilting. I'd recommend it if you prefer Dragoon on attack since Elevate requires you to hard launch to not get burst so fucking easily.
>>
Anyone found a reliable crack for Xone? I'm looking around and I see that there's an .nfo file out. No idea where to fetch the actual release tho

Is there a site or something that can sum what each ratchet can do? Cause there seem to be quite a number of them but they boil down to "60 best, 80 shit, 4- is Hitler, 1- might be ok somewhere."

What would I pair a 7-70 ratchet with? Do you only use a 3-80 because your best bey is already using the 3-60?
>>
>>11242273

>>
using only official products, what's the longest any beyblade has ever spun?
>>
>>11241935
Oh yeah, I was asking for Samurai combos! 4-60 is weirdly good on both Samurai and Shark (I use 2-60 on Shark even). So far I'm liking 4-60 Hexa, Point, or Glide on Samurai. Sometimes I switch it out with a 9 if I face up against attack types who like to tilt launch.
>>
>>11242290
This. Test for yourselves. It's honestly all in the technique and bond between bey and blader
>>
>>11242437
all the testing I've done has led me to the conclusion that 60 is best and 80 is shit.

I'm trying to figure out who to put this 7-70 on, but it also just keep bursting on whoever I put it on
>>
>>11241598
I was shocked at how long Saber lasts on elevate, say what you want about it but it probably has the best balance of all the current blades. I've tried it and free ball on 4-60, but I still struggle to beat rod on ball. i'd love to try it on Glide as I feel like the less friction could give it just enough of a push to fully rival it, but I don't have rudder.
>>
>>11242466
Yeah, Elevate loves a good hard launch which is hard to do on a String Launcher for Dragoon, though imo DragoonE is still better against stronger beys like Wolf and Rod and stands a good chance vs Phoenix and Buster.
>>
>>11242093
She's MY wife. Back off buster.
>>
>>11242273
All my testing is that 80 is worse than 60 90% of the time, it adds a minor boost to stability and therefore stamina/defense, but the additional exposure to bursting isn't really worth it.
4 mostly sucks because the nubs line up poorly with most blades, making them easy targets for burst, there are blades that line up ok with 4, but it still wouldn't be my first pick.
>>
>However, any releases of Phoenix Wing produced during October 2024 onward have a new reinforced mold that weighs 39.0 grams on average. This second mold was first released with Phoenix Wing 9-80DB, and was later included with reprints of Phoenix Wing 9-60GF and Phoenix Wing 5-80H.
How would you go about getting a 2.0 mold? The blue/green CoroCoro one is obvious, but how would you ever tell the difference between the old ones when trying to buy one?
>>
>>11242657
Honestly, you probably don't. Haven't seen a date on a box but the only one where the blades are obvious are the Hasbro versions and God knows if they're going to be updated whatsoever when the booster is still everywhere.

I'm almost glad it's not happening. There could've been a good mix from multiple series, but the Tommy Oliver dickriding gets so old (and Drakkon wouldn't exist if it weren't for that). I get that they wanna market what sells, but would it have been so hard to even include one (mega)zord? They're literally designed to combine multiple parts, ffs.

I didn't even think of the coins, that's actually a great idea. Hasbro is so afraid of making money, though, they'd probably give every single one of them 3-60T and call it a day, rather than doing something like the newest DIY combo.

Zero chance. Hasbro killed the Power Rangers brand, and only Dream Together can make this crossover work by asking Toei for the license to its Japanese counterpart. >>
>>11245517
Wide QC variance, I'm guessing. I picked up three different 9-60s (two Tyranno, one Phoenix), and one of them actually fits tight, one is so-so, and the Phoenix one is loose as a goose. I don't have many dupes worth checking for my TT parts, but it seems to be a tossup with those, too. Haven't gotten as many loose TT ratchets as I have Hasbro, but that's likely a quantity>quality thing.

what would you recommend for someone who used to have Beyblades as a kid but lost everything and wants to get back into it? There's a tournament 15 minutes drive away from my house, I was wondering what I should buy to be able to compete.
>>
>>11245772
assuming they're only allowing stuff released in the west at the moment, you really can't go wrong with picking up soar phoenix, keel shark and a scythe incendio. I wouldn't necessarily say to keep it all pure stock (for example I'd definitely recommend getting a wizard arrow for the ball bit) but as a quick starting guide, just to dip your feet in, that's the easiest one that comes to mind. and the bonus is the soar phoenix comes with a string launcher so you don't have to waste time using the jokes that are the starter launchers every other hasbro bey comes with
>>
>>11245774
I was looking at those hasbro kits that come with the beystadium and wasn't sure. Those were exactly the tips I was looking for, thank you so much beybro.
>>
>>11245780
if you mean the budget ones at places like mejier/costco/etc. with the green bucket then don't bother, they're not worth the cash. that stadium in particular is complete ass and even if you want the two beys it comes with you're better off getting them on their own. if you mean pic related than it's pretty solid. the arena is pretty different from the larger japanese ones but again if the meta for your local scene is only based on western releases then it's what they'll be playing on anyway. the rush bit on dagger in particular is great. if there's any black friday sales going on anywhere it's probably worth grabbing it. launchers are still ass tho
>>
>>11245786
yeah It's the green bucket one. I've seen it for pretty cheap with a couple beys but I never see it used on videos so I was already thinking it wasn't a good idea to buy it. I'll try to get the stadium you posted plus the beys you recommended for the better launcher, it should be enough to at least have some fun. Thank you again bro.
>>
>>11245534
Yeah I noticed this too, kind of sucks actually when your best looking/matching ratchet is not the best fitting one.
>>

>>
>>11245834
was that a shitty hasbro bey or what?
>>
>>11245517
I have 4-80 from the red Wizard Arrow that grips attack and balance bits so hard you have to use some strength to disassemble it.
I'd use it on whatever I could but... it's a 4-80.
>>
>>11245836
I bought it loose and it came sealed on a bag, so it had to be Takara.

>shitty hasbro
They are literally made in the same factories by the same people.
>>
both my 5-60 and my 7-60 are so loose that just the small amount of pressure from putting them on launcher hooks will undo them unless I have them on a high burst resist bit but then i have other bits like my 3-80 that you have to have super strength to twist on and off without any bit the variance with these things is wild.
>>
>>11245836

>>11242657
>>
>>11245852
And judging by the stories of wave 3 showing up in places when others haven't seen wave 2, they can't even do that right.

Combined with the lack of tournaments or advertising push, Takara really shouldn't have given hasbro another chance with X, they should have given distribution to... idk, moose? Spin master? I feel like any other company would have at least included winders with the stadium.
I mean hell, I figure the reason like half the hasbro remolds have been from rhino horn is because it's smaller so they save on materials.
>>
>>11245893
I don't understand how they've done what they have so far.
Wave 2 was supposed to release in October, but stuff like Leon Claw and Tyranno Roar were found stateside in July/August. Stores around me have only just gotten them this month. Wave 3 wasn't supposed to be out until January, yet people found Wizard Rod and Dran Buster in October, and now Tyranno Beat is popping up?

It seems less like these are distribution errors and more like they're just saying fuck it and sending whatever they have as soon as they have it. Otherwise, there's no reason why a whole wave wouldn't release all at once.

why do you retards even still bother with hasbro? they never release the rare parts from Takara. They spend too much time on dogshit collabs. they take too much time releasing months old takara beys and even when these waves do appear, its random, sporadic and unpredictable. they dont give a shit about tournaments. they already cheapened out on stadium for retarded reasons and cheapened out on launchers. its only a matter of time the cheap out on the beys themselves like they have done time and time again.

why even care about hasbro? importing beys from HK cant be that expensive compared the the dogshit treatment you get from hasbro can it?

I can wait six months to get a Shell for $10 rather than paying $50 because it was the prize bey, yes.
>>
>>11245944
you're better off waiting for black shell to be included in a customize set than wait probably a year until Hasbro releases it. also laugh at the retards who overpaid for tyranno beat and got slapped in the face with the customize set U

Don't buy anything. Don't play.

if you ARE gonna go for that Soar Phoenix, get it on Amazon or Walmart, it's still on sale for $12

>Price when purchased online
Can they give you that price in-store anyway if you tell them, or do you have to buy it online to get it that cheap?
>>
>>11245975
I never said don't buy Takara stuff lol. I said don't overpay, and if you are willing to wait, then at least for Takara stuff. It's really not that hard to understand that you just don't give your hard-earned money to a lousy company like Hasbro that can't even distribute waves properly. I can't believe I have to spell it out for you, anon. English should be your first language, right?

No, dickhead. And >>11246033 that's not what you did. You came in here calling everyone retards, and laid the condescension on thick when it wasn't called for. You can't belittle people and expect them not to respond with hostility. You're a fucking asshole.

I find it ironic how Hasbro has released Phoenix Wing in wave 1 and still hasn't released Phoenix Feather. This Saturday, Disney will be airing the Phoenix Feather episodes, but there will be no Phoenix Feather on shelves.
>>
>>11246053
You definitely do HRT by the way you respond and yes, I call people who buy Hasbro shit retards because they keep asking stupid shit like "when is x wave coming" and it's the same shit that has been readily available in stores for months. it's like you're excitedly waiting to buy an inferior version of an already available product. I may be an asshole, but see someone respond with violence is just genuinely funny as if you have some loyalty to Hasbro because most normal people would just reply with the same condescending tone.
>>
>>11245788
the green bucket one doesnt provide protection if a beyblade flies out, these things are dangerous toys, but are these even toys? i feel like one day everyone will be required to wear face/eye protection in tournaments if the meta changes or if they release a stadium where shit goes mach10 lol
>>
>>11246132
Something about Whale Wave's shape causes it to knock things straight up sometimes. I had a Bey hit me in the chest last tournament.

>inferior version
NTA but the only difference is that Takara doesn't have mental patients in charge of distribution. If anything, I prefer Hasbro not having random boosters because I'm stingy.

Do they sell the little pieces that clip on to the grip somewhere? My bro got a bootleg grip but those don't come with the little pieces, so now he's borrowing them from mine
>>
>>11246150
im not referring to the beys themselves but hasbro IS cheapening out on products. their stadiums are tiny and the launchers are easily the worst. they give you garbage launchers and youre expected to shell out more money to *fully* play beyblade x at its peak gameplay.
>>
>>11244956
To be fair, Phoenix is heavier, has a rachet with 9 points of contact, and can reach the extreme line as often as Shark Edge can. I'm not saying Shark can't win, but it's more of an uphill battle compared to most other Beyblade.
>>
>>11246015
probably not, because as far as I know they are selling another store's product through the Walmart website while when you go to the store you're buying from Walmart the store itself even if it's the same product, so it might be priced differently and they won't take the website haggling.
>>
>>11246184
I mean if you order from anazon jp you can have a real one for very little. Just add cheap beys to the cart until you're paying 60/40 product to shipping and you're still saving more money than buying from a us retailer. Shipping from them isn't as scary as you'd think.

To answer your question they do not sell them separately. Scan eBay for listings maybe someone doesn't need theirs.
>>
>>11246111
>>11246135
it's alright bud, you can go back to pol now
>>
>>11246330
If it's sold *by* Walmart, they should honor it, barring any online-only deals. Walmart also has third-party sellers selling through their storefront, which is a separate thing, but they still sell their own products.

Do we know what Bound Spike does yet?
>>
Anyone know of any decent black friday deals? Also, how do hasbro beys conpare to takara beys this time around?
>>
>>11246564
Think of it as a shock absorber for the launch. "Bound" as in "bounding away" rather than "bound in chains."
>>
>>11246591
>how do hasbro beys conpare to takara beys this time around?
Hasbro is doing the same as Takara to the point Hasbro are releasing blades Takara only releases like half a year later.
The seemingly Hasbro exclusive Talon Ptera was released as part of the Knight Mail box set.

>>11246598
So it's just to absorb the fall of the launch? It doesn't do anything else of note?

I don't think there's meant to be any actual hasbro exclusives (outside of the crossover stuff)
you already mentioned ptera but OP pic is a recolor of hasbro bey and the new arena comes with the bear
>>
I want to get 5 beys (X) to do a round robin tournament with my family. Ive got the Takara stadium, which beys should I buy? Preferably under $30 each
>>
>>11246609
I said seemingly because people thought for months that the retools sold under Hasbro were exclusives until the bear.
>>
>>11246610
>Preferably under $30 each
For $30, you can get two Hasbro dual packs, which is 4 beys. What's your launcher situation?

30 each bey? Well get two decksets, maybe three and call it good.

The white and gold Dran set
Hell's Chain set
Phoenix Rudder set

You're spending like 40 per box so that's 9 beys for 4.44 each. If you can swig it the dran dagger set would be good too, swapping out the gold dran set if you can't find it.
>>
>>11246591
Check Walmart/ Amazon/ target. Also if you do some research AliExpress. They have coupons going on if you pay x amount. Got myself a silver wolf and cobalt drake for the kids.
>>
>>11246631
Dont have any launchers, havent touched a bey since metal fight era. Figure Ill probably just get 2 string launchers for now but Im open to recommendations

Any of you guys compete or have a local 'scene'? Im getting back into beyblade for the first time as an adult because the X gimmick is cool and the manga isnt terrible, but I think Im the only person interested in 100 miles.
>>
>>11246837
My 'local' scene is an hour away in another city, but we have a tournament every weekend, usually between 12 and 20 people. I got lucky, I think we're the only ones in the state.
>>
>>11246837
I have no scene at all but I only started buying them because they looked cool and I'm pretty content to just collect them/watch them fight for my own amusement/harass friends and relatives to give it a shot whenever they come over.
>>
>>11246837
I joined a discord for my locals and it's full of turbo autists that make this site look normal
>>
>>11246837
I just bought a stadium and roped a bunch of friends in to play, it's fun. Might join the local scene since I live in Asia but we'll see about that.

I do but I stopped attending tournaments because I lagged behind on releases. Not that I'm scared I'll lose to meta shit, I simply want to try my theory crafted combos in tournaments and many a theory involves stuff I forgot to buy.
There's also that it gets in the way of church because of the schedule so...
