>>11248884I like these. My only critique so far is I wish they were a little less shredded. A little more smoothed out. But they are closest to my ideal look for the turtles which is, weirdly enough, the skins from Smite.
>>11248902scratch is a truly bizarre choicegotta say though I would buy a version of him with two matching feet (preferably cat) and a less goofy head.
>>11248905if you like that then that makes sense. i am not into it, but the TMNT have looked a LOT worse. and I'll admit my favorite looks have their flaws.
>>11248905Eh, just wait bit more and you'll probably get your ideal turtle aesthetic from some other company.
>>11248916The worst thing about Scratch is that he looks so bland. Wingnut's head and costume can still be differentiated despite both glowing, but Scratch's fur and the "white" of his costume are exactly the same shade.
>>11248940they also need to remember they have access to a million different glow colors. not everyone has to be green. why ONLY foot soldier gets to be blue? Give us hothead then give us glowing red-orange hothead.
>>11248877And you're wrong as ever. >Companies that make good toys don't need to set up exclusive deals for entire product linesThey literally do, all the time. You sure love to ignore the obvious, are you going to ignore the fact that the toon and movie lines are ridiculous successes and has pumped out more characters than almost any other toy line out there? Of course you will.Last Ronin is the main character of the series, you want to have that figure and character out there for everyone to be able to pick up. Especially as interest continues to grow. They were not overproduced. They were re-ordered and re-ordered as the line grew and more releases came out. You know literally nothing.
>>11248959>why ONLY foot soldier gets to be blue?Well, him and Baxter.
Also, the vintage Party Wagon is at Toys R Us/Macys now.
>>11249126>the toon and movie lines are ridiculous successes and has pumped out more characters than almost any other toy line out thereStar Wars, both Black Series and 3¾"/Vintage CollectionTransformersDCMVMarvel LegendsSHF DragonballI wouldn't be surprised if SHF have more Kamen Rider and Super Sentai figures than both combined, but I don't really follow them.Fuck, even Joytoy's Warhammer 40k line has probably overtaken it already. It's not even close.
>>11249128oh yeah baxter. honestly i could see getting that on discount, just say that's some experiment he did on himself
>>11249522Nope, it is among all of those and still going strong and probably is only rivaled by Marvel Legends thanks to Haslabs.
>>11249608You do realise there are checklists that prove you wrong. You are so wrong, you are barely worth replying to.Here is a list of every NECA TMNT animated series figure:https://turtlepedia.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_NECA_Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_(1987_TV_series)_action_figuresHere is a list of every Star Wars Vintage Collection figure:https://galacticfigures.com/star-wars-figures.aspx?type=toyline&typeName=tvcAnd just to show you how even a relatively new line has overtaken Neca's "amazingly huge range" without needing to beg for exclusivity deals for the entire line, here is a list of every Joytoy Warhammer 40k figure.https://www.adeptuscollectorius.com/pages/results?Line=Warhammer+40%2C000&Year=All&Faction=All&Subfaction=All&Searchbar=
>>11249647Oh boy, clones, clones, clones, Mandos, Mandos, Mandos, wee! What a long lasting shit line Star Wars has become. Also there's no "begging" involved. So your stupidity there continues to be astounding. The toon TMNT line is one of the most comprehensive in history, up there with World of Springfield.
>>11249647>bunch of off topic garbage>even tries to compare a six movie franchise to TMNT >goes gay for 40k slopWhat a shit post.

>>11249654Then maybe your resident retard shouldn't make retarded claims that "muh Turtle line is the deepest toyline in the history of toylines."Seriously, can't you keep him on a leash or something? As for your claim of 40k being gay, you are in a thread surrounded by gay furries. Anons were literally stroking their dick to the Stump Wrestling Ace Duck reveal.
>>11249668It is one of the deepest toy lines in the history of toy lines. How can you say it's not? You literally cannot ask for a more comprehensive line, especially nowadays. You are such a loser trying to downplay that.
>>11249663Thank you for correcting your mistake
>>11249671>How can you say it's not? Because I know how to count?Because I know how to read a figure checklist?
>>11249673Oh, man, you're dumb then. Got it. That is all you had to say then. As if that has anything to do with getting nearly every character from a show from multiple seasons plus obscure ones out in a toy line.
>>11249676Star Wars has made nearly every background alien for the Cantina and Jabba's Palace. It doesn't get much more obscure than that.
>>11249680And Turtles is doing the same.
>>11249680Star Wars is a dead franchise that struggles to get main characters out now
>>11249681Even if every single character that had a speaking role in the show got made (every single boring human), it wouldn't come close to Star Wars.>>11249682To be fair, they have been making 1/18 figures almost non stop for nearly 30 years, nearly every character that people want has been made, and the Disney shit is so bad that most of the original collector base don't want anything from that shitshow.I'm not even defending Star Wars, because I don't care for that shit anymore. But to try to pretend that NECA TMNT toon line has as many figures as the Vintage Collection alone is lunacy, let alone every other 1/18 subline (which, excluding stuff like Clone Wars that had different sculpting styles, are technically all the same line, they only changed the card art during the 00s because retailers demanded a "fresh" look each year.)
>>11249699The NECA toon line doesn't need as many figures dumbass, that's not what makes it so comprehensive. Do you not understand them doing literally every character from a show is something very, very few lines manage to accomplish? You're being retarded on purpose now.
>>11249703I don't think he understands what you're saying, mate. I think it's an autism thing. He thinks numbers means it wins or something.
>>11249703Transformers does it nearly every time there is a new show. Well, every Cybertronian character. Nobody wants the humans.I mean, Star Wars literally made the fat ugly guy that runs the Cantina. Let me know when NECA makes the guys from the Ninja Pizzeria from the first season, and then you will be starting to get to the level of deep cuts that Star Wars has in its lineup.
>>11249711No, I understand what he is saying, but he's wrong. See >>11249718 as my example. NECA has made nearly every character that was a secondary character and only appeared in one episode. Well, except for the Red Sky seasons.Hasbro has made nearly every blink and you miss it background alien that ever appeared on Tatooine. They made the Rebel Trooper that stole a Scout Trooper's armor during the Battle of Endor. They made the guy that was running through Bespin with a fucking ice cream maker in his arms. But NECA went SOOOOOO deep because they made Zach, the fifth turtle.
>11249723So it is autism.
>>11249729Yes, thinking NECA TMNT is the toyline with the deepest cuts ever is autism.
>>11249736No, that's the opposite of autism. Trying to claim Star Wars is the end all be all is absolute autism. No cure for that.
>>11249739No, refusing to back down even when you've been unequivocally proven wrong is as autistic as it gets. Star Wars deep cuts are so deep, that people started memeing their ridiculousness with Glup Shitto.
Can we have a retro airs his grievances with neva watch party?
>>11249750Except they haven't been proven wrong. Them saying the toon TMNT line is extensive is not wrong. It's right up there with the Playmates Simpsons line.
>>11249750So you don't actually understand what's being said
>>11249758See >>11249126>has pumped out more characters than almost any other toy line out thereHe didn't just say extensive. He constantly says hyperbolic bullshit like this.
>>11249764And you autistically get your panties in a twist and shit up the thread. Wow, what a hero you are!
>>11249767You carried over an argument from the previous thread because you are so autistic that you couldn't handle me saying the TLR Ronin figures were overproduced, which there is evidence they were, and then made even more ridiculous statements in this thread and refuse to back down when proven wrong, and you just keep going and going and going.Maybe if you didn't say such easily dismissible hyperbolic bullshit and try to pick arguments with everyone you disagree with, the threads would run a lot smoother.
>11249774>He's still autistically screeching after he got proven wrongYou don't have any family to stop you from embarrassing yourself, do you mate?
There's 4-5 of these at every walmart in my area. I guess Randy deciding to make the bandana red instead of making it all black and white like the original sketches really put them into the clearance wait list. The red worked on the green ones, because it was in color. Not so much on these. Meanwhile, Usagi is enjoying the full on sketch look.
>>11249794They've been selling incredibly well all over the place. The red pops on the white sketch look. So don't know what you're smoking there. The b/w set is more striking than the color set honestly.
>>11249794>all black and whiteWoulda been boring af. The red gives it a nice punch of color.
>>11249794>nunchaku have chains nearly as long as one of the handles>the spinning one acts like it's spinning right at the axle of the end of one handle, the chain is apparently patiently waiting below it.
>>11249804You having a retard moment there?
>>11249810look at it againthe spinning piece does not factor the chain in at all. it's like a real nunchaku where there's barely any chain.
>>11249823Maybe you should look at the actual piece instead of looking at a flat image from one angle before you make these kinds of posts.
>>11249825that angle is the only important anglelet me draw it for you since you're not getting it
>>11249830Wow, just...doubling down on being a dunce huh? Okay, I'll let you wallow in ignorance.
>>11249831explain
>>11249830...anon...
>>11249834>>11249831do you think that it's like this? and the chain is just hidden by the angle?because that's still retarded. it wouldn't spin like that unless you pinched it up at the tip of the chain.
>>11249836Bruh.
alright i'm being fucked withfucking hate these threads
>>11249832bro, it's the resident neca retard, just ignore him.
>>11249831I was confused as to what he was even trying to say at first, but he has a point. The spinning ones should be farther out
>>11249847Do you not own that set?
>>11249852No they shouldn't. Stop relying on one image of something.
>>11249855Where is the chain then? The drawings depict the chain when spinning
>>11249858Buy the set and you'll find out.
>>11249859Okay I see your point, but shouldn’t the chain be metal colored to match the other ones included?
>>11249861Newton would spin in his grave if he saw that.
>>11249861No, no they shouldn't.
>>11249861>>11249868I think the Mezco effect handles it better
>>11249858yeah see, this mikey has a very short chain, like all good nunchaku should. so his spinning ones make sese. eastman and laird are good artists. also interesting seeing a sideways-brandished reverse-grip sai like that.in the cartoon, they were a bit longer, but not stupidly long. and the movies kept with realistic ones.. it was only the toy that gave us ludicrously long (rope) ones so he could grip both ends with his limited range.
>>11249879For the cost of one of those things it goddamn better
>>11249861what the-so >>11249836 was right???
>>11249794wait, in this picture it is clearly hinged and hanging down, not on a long chain sticking out 90 degrees. I think we've been bamboozled.
>>11249887No, he wasn't. He didn't understand the toy at all.
>>11249893in what way does >>11249836 differ from >>11249861 ?
>>11248601Source?Is it just an educated guess on what doesn't sell? I'm a sucker for deals and starting to collect TMNT, so an evil part of me wants to try one of these.I'd like stuff like this more if they at least showed the item pool on the site.
>>11249932>Source?His ass. He's just shitposting, anon. Nobody knows what's in them right now.
>>11249932Educated guess from the stuff that has been turning up at Ross and the stuff that frequently goes on sale at BBTS. I'm not going to larp as a company insider or someone with a connection to Randy. If I wanted to shitpost I would have said a Donnie's Lab that you will have to return before NECA permaban you from their store, some medium sized Lootcrate t-shirts because XXL always sellout first when you are selling to NECA loyalists, and $100 worth of keychains and other useless tat. That's what I would have said if I wanted to shitpost, but honestly from the description, I think I may have underestimated the probability of getting a heap of Lootcrate shit in there. I agree it would be an easier sell if they showed the potential item pool.
>>11249961>that has been turning up at RossAll two items that showed up two years ago now? Yeah, not a educated guess at all. You know literally nothing.
>>11249965It was only a little over a year ago that they first appeared, and more items have turned up since then, which are still regularly put on sale at BBTS who still can't get rid of them at discount prices.
>>11249989>and more items have turned up since thenThat's not true at all. Quit lying about shit.
>>11249961So you're just a jackass. Not surprising.
>>11249993Mirage Casey, and either Fugitoid or Utrom also showed up there after Slash and Renet did.
I mean anyone who has ever bought a mystery bag/box should know that it’s gonna be a lot of stuff that didn’t sell well. Otherwise why would they throw in stuff that actually has way more value than what you pay? Out of the kindness of their heart?
>>11250029No they didn't
>>11250067Yes they did
>>11250062i bought 5 of them spread through out the day trying to get the 2k box
>>11251193the what now?
>>11251204the box worth $2k
>>11251211do you expect to be able to resell those items?
>>11251223obviously. i keep what i want then sell what i don't and come out with a profit
>>11251230man i wish you luck with my entire nose. That is the dream if you can pull it off. and you're not even scalping, buying em fair and square.
how the fuck did I just now realize super7's Zak is metallic because it's the Toon version, not the original.
>>11251193Please post your results. I want to see how many Renets, Archie Slashes and Head Knockers you end up with.
>>11251276Sorry you're too poor to enjoy toys.
>>11251369I'm sorry Randy had to run a lucky dip to clear out unsellable overstock.
>>11251388I'm sorry you don't know what you're talking about ever
>>11249595You ain't gonna find the glow baxter on discount
I just pre-ordered the joytoy April. Am I crazy?
>>11251768Nah, that's a perfectly reasonable purchase. It's not a bad price for a small batch china figure, and it's a semi-unique spin on the cartoon design.
>>11251774I think I"m gonna get some of the robo-skull drones to go with the mousers as well.
>>11251751aw ratswell i don't need glowy mousers anyway
Both of the definitely not overproduced Ronin figures are 50% off for Cyber Monday and have actually managed to fall from the top spots for most overstocked NECA Turtles at BBTS for the first time since they were released.Happy savings to all who waited.
>>11251909They weren't overproduced. You shitposting doesn't mean shit.
>>11251909Damn, you actually have a fundamental misunderstanding of how things work with bbts and restocks. Sucks you're so retarded broski.
>>11251909jesus they expected you to shell out 40 clams for that?
>>11251909i don't want that shit even for 20 bucks
>>11251910>>11251912I can explain how things work at BBTS if you'd like, because I have witnessed things sell moderately well or nearly sell out before they get restocked thousands of times. That never happened with those Ronin figures, and samefagging in defiance doesn't change that, so whatever, bub.
>>11251923me neither, but i guess I would if I liked that comic. a lot of people did.
>>11251923You sound like a dumb cunt
>>11251909>overproducedYou don't understand what words mean apparently
>>11251932calm down necanon i just think they're ugly as shit designs, stop taking everything so personally
>>11251924>That never happened with those Ronin figuresI mean, it literally did. The figures sold so well it launched another line. And of course you're going to get more figures made of the TITULAR CHARACTER of a comic and future movie series.
>>11251933>definitely not overproducedYou seem to have trouble with complete sentences, apparently.
>>11251943Autistics like you don't understand sarcasm apparently
>>11251951Seeing as I was the one that made the post showing how anons can make big savings today, I think I might know if it was sarcasm or not. Maybe Chief Medical Officer Raphael can diagnose your psychosis and prescribe you the right meds.
>>11251958So you're admitting to being autistic? Not that it wasn't obvious feom the start...
>>11251909Not a great sign for the TLR line
>>11252064You mean the TLR line that's got a shit ton of figures with more coming? Looks great for them actually.
>>11252064Wait until The Lost Years figures drop if you want to see shit really bin.
>>11252123Except for the fact that they'll sell well.
>>11252127The comic didn't, so I doubt that.
>>11252136You'd be wrong, as usual.
>>11252064I think it was the kind of comic that just doesn't make you wants toys of it. I picked up both versions of the Ronin but I just don't have the same desire to have the rest of the crew.
>>11252189>hat just doesn't make you wants toys of itI mean that's clearly bullshit considering the breadth of the line so far. People do want these designs as toys.
Is this a common issue for this figure? All about the hands are popped all the way in they won't stay upright. The weapons are too heavy. I'm not sure if any modification can fix this. Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
>>11251249also since the other two neutrinos only got metallic 'toon' toys, he'll match them when they get around to those.
>>11252283I don't have that guy, but you have two options for giving him stronger wrists. You've just gotta make his holes tighter.Option one is to heat the forearm with a hair dryer or hot water, insert the hand, and then squeeze the wrist as it cools., but this may not be permanent depending on how hot it gets where you live. The other option is to put a dab of acetone free nail polish or super glue in the socket, put the hand in, and then keep moving the wrist joint until it sets. Super glue sets much quicker and is easier to fuck up and permanently lock up the wrist, so I recommend the nail polish if you are new to this. It might take a couple of goes, but the extra layer will eventually be thick enough to stop the wrist from rotating just from the weight of the weapon. I've done it with a figure whose hand wouldn't even stay in the socket, and now it doesn't come out unless you want it to.
>>11252326better than the risky nail polish or superglue is just the use of water-based polyurethane. it's cheap and you'll want to buy a cheap henna applicator bottle for it.though really, ANYTHING in there will help. If you have pipe sealing tape (not actually tape, just a thin stretchy clingy material that sits between screwed-together pipes to make them watertight), wrapping a little of that around the wrist peg will make it just thick enough (depending how many wraps you give it) to provide better friction. I've been using this on a lot of old model kits lately, whose plastic has aged and doesn't springily hold together anymore.
>>11252365The only time I fucked up with nail polish was when I used one with acetone in it and it stripped the paint. But yeah, water based polyurethane like that Kiki loose Joints Fix stuff, or floor polish are good too.>plumbers tapeThat's one I've heard of before, but keep forgetting to try out. Thanks for the reminder. I've got a few rolls of it floating around.
>>11251909is this post actually making that many retards seethe or is just necanon samefagging?
>>11252380of course it’s just necanon, no one else is that invested something hitting clearance
>>11252410You just come up with the most wild bullshit to lie about.
>>11252305Fuck the other Neutrinos give me a high detail Burne, Vernon, and Irma. Burne is almost as gross as some of the mutants in that delightful 80s/90s grossout way.
>>11252499Honestly I would consider it if they had cool enough accessories.t he toy versions are unique and clevermore likely I would just buy irma. especially if they made her face really cute.
>>11252499also the red eyes are crazy cool.I took a look at their accessories and they weren't much.
