Generic fantasy Goatman from FancyRealms - completely new sculpt, looks pretty hype
Don’t forget the new silver knight legion builder and the first 10 years book currently up for preorder until February 2nd.
>>11306630Looks cool, have they made stuff in the past?
>>11306605>>11306632>the Eurppean knight themed ones actually get to resemble their cultural influences, just with some fantastical touches>The mesoamerican snake men have almost nothing that actually resembles Mesoamerican armor or fashion aside from 1-2 specific ornaments on the figurehate this shit, it's like they don't even try. pic related is more a straight up dinosaur then a lizard person and I have some issues with the specific execution, but at least this tries to apply Aztec influenced armor and motifs to a reptilian creature base
>>11306646Yeah I agree, the armor could’ve been better. I think an Axolotl in Aztec armor would be really neat since we haven’t really gotten one before and it would fit the theme.
>>11306633Yes, they made the chinese wind god bird thing, here is a hands-on reviewhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V2_nol-QskSeems pretty legit. These mid-range chinese bootlegs/unlicensed figures are really good.
How many times has Iron Knight been reprinted? They should do it again, he's the only dude in the entire series that matters to me since he's got a Sallet option.
>>11306718She I guess?All I care about is sallet
>>11306718Not quite, there are two sallet sculpts, one smaller for 2.0 bodies and a bigger one for 1.0 bodies. It is kinda confusing because the smaller sallet sculpt for 2.0 bodies came before the bigger sallet sculpt for 1.0 bodies. You can get the smaller 2.0 sallet sculpt not only via Iron Knight, but also the Deluxe 2.0 knight builder set.Anyway, if you are only interested in the Sallet, you can just get a 3d printed version, or go around and ask for a recast.
>>11306719Man sized sallet helm came with both Figures Obscura Santas, and will be coming with the Blue Shield Soldier/ Deluxe Knight Builder 3 kit in the Ashes of Agbendor wave.
>>11306750The War of the Aetherblade Female Orc had the 2.0 sallet sculpt too. She's still in stock on some stores as well.

I posted last thread about my order taking a while >>11305844 but it shipped today for anyone worrying about their order.
>>11306630I saw that guy, he's pretty damn tempting. Certainly is a unique character concept, and I'm always a sucker for swords with working scabbards.>>11306632.....I totally forgot about the Silver Knight Legion Builder. I fail as a OP lol. >>11306718>>11306719>>11306750>>11306860The Sallet helm actually came with all the Knight Builders from the AoD wave, meaning both Legion Builders (silver male, gunmetal female) and the Deluxe Builder set all had that helmet. Also the Valiant Knight came with the 1.0 scale helmet. It's a really nice piece and I like it on the AoD wave LBs as it makes them look less knight and more "soldier". I wish they had a different torso though, that elf builder is far too distinct for how reused it was. I really need to hunt down some tabards or something to cover em up with.If you just want those helmets, I have a pile of extras I could part with. >>11307026Probably the best of those WotA sets, but I *hate* how they used two different colors for the armor. They should've used all bronze or all gunmetal, but the mix of the two just leaves the bare limbed build with these very out of place mis-matched greaves. >>11307030Neat, guess they're gonna do Builder sets except for space people with these. They need to hurry up with those Oxkrewe figures though, those wave 1 space builds are getting just as overused as that original Mythic plate-mail body.
Anons, talk me back from the ledge (or just push). Over the last year I've been rediscovering interests/nostalgic feels from my childhood and recently I unearthed the pleasure of modern toys/figures and thus these mythic/cosmic legion ones just the other day. The pattern that has emerged is that I seem to have missed the boat on all the ones I would get of every figure line I find, they are always out of stock, be it the Marvel Legends Black Widow, Mafex Gambit/Wolverine (CT toys rescued the latter) and in this instance Zeerian Spyre etc. It's driving me insane. Do Four Horseman ever do reissues? How often do they do new waves, because the characters of the upcoming one don't really interest me? Any other UK people here, how do you cope with both everything being more expensive and also basically seemingly having like 3 places that even stock these? I needed to whine, I am envious of you Americans, I am debating ordering her from BigBadToys but it'd be about $70 dollars at the lowest shipping.
>ninian infantry already going for $80 to $90 shipped on eBayseriously…?
>>11307478They do All Star waves with Mythic that have older figures reissued in them sometime updated. They have not done any all star with Cosmic yet but that line is just turning two this year so it's too early for that more so where they have been keeping up with demand. >>11307504Is that a surprise? I feel like double the MSRP after selling out is the norm.
>>11307478>Zeerian SpyreI have her, I like her, she's a great figure....but she's not worth $70 bucks. If you want a character with her head though, Manisha Cinderhorn comes with a repainted version of her tied back hair look, and overall just looks to be a fantastic figure. But I guess it's an apples to oranges comparison seeing as one is an alien space sniper and the other is a dark elf assassin. Similarly, Jobara Kee uses a lot of the same parts as Zeerian, as the only big difference between the two outside of colors is limbs and their heads. If you really wanna go crazy, you pick up both Jobara and Manisha, use the alt head from Manisha on Jobara and then you have a make shift Zeerian AND a cool dark elf assasin chick! (Manisha has three head options). As for re-issues, every year they do one "All-Star" wave of quasi fan voted figures to get re-run. But it's only ever been Mythic based figures and I don't think Cosmic has been running long enough, or has a roster deep enough, to warrant one directly. They also put out "updated" versions of older, popular characters occasionally, often featuring new parts and accessories, but again that's only been done with Mythic stuff so far. I'm sure once Cosmic gets some more time under it's belt, they'll see re-releases and upgrades as well. Unfortunately I'm not in the UK so I can't really advise on those issues. At best I can point to the one listed Approved Retailer in the UK as you'll probably get the best price per figure from them. But as of now it seems all they have are Pre-orders and sold out listings of newer wave releases. Incidentally, they do have both Manisha and Jobara on Pre-order. https://www.emporiumofcool.co.uk/These are good figures, but for the most part they're not worth overpaying for either the figure or the shipping to get them. Just watch for new sales and I'm sure eventually you'll find a new figure worth grabbing.
>>11307504They've been out since November, this isn't news.
>>11307396>Probably the best of those WotA setsIt's one set of legs away from being able to build and have two full figures. I don't think any of the other three sets are like that. I think where it's orcs the idea is their will be a bit of mismatch like they poach armor from the fallen to keep for themselves. That or they wanted an accent color around the legs since the feet have the bronze sabatons/sollerets things on the low ankles. >>11307504brace yourself anon it's only going to get worse
>>11307603>>11307627Thank you for humouring me, anons, and for the in depth response. I'll have a look at the Mythic stuff, I like fantasy as well so I'll consider your suggestions and I'll resist the overpaying, there will always be new figures I suppose. I was just frustrated because I seem to become interested just in between everything heh.
>>11307030Just watched this and, hilariously, after my >>11307478 earlier crying they revealed a new head set combo pack for Zeerian, but as it's from remaining stock I assume it will only be from their own site, so import shipping/VAT. Oh well, will see.
>>11307478honestly, it's better to buy from BBTS and put up with the late comer tax than preordering anything from 4H.You always have a chance to buy remainders from 4H too, because like we've seen, they don't really sell out like they used to.You never know what problems a wave will have until they're released. There's rarely ever not a problem with every release. My pointing this out will get me called a troll, but the people who call me a troll would also like to ignore all the problems that happened last year.... and the year before that.. and the year before that... and the year before that... and the year before that, etc. Ever since the Ravens and the paint flaking off, there's been a problem since 2015.4H has really shitty quality control
>>11307883How much are these packs usually?
>>11307839>>11307883I knew I was forgetting something, I never really pay attention to their vlog stuff. Is it just a bunch of alt head packs?
>>11307900Currently the first Mythic head pack is 30 bucks on the store with 6 heads and accessories for them (necks, collar, tongue etc).....but having just watched the video, each individual pack will be $10 if you just want the heads. But they're actually selling combo packs with a limited amount of the figures that go with them for 40-60 each, depending on the character. The Thraice head as a human on the Zeerian body just looks too nice to pass up. Though I already have Kalian Shunn who uses the same head so I might just end up passing on it anyway. Regardless, it's a cool way to get your hands on those first wave Cosmic figures, and you get some nice extra heads as a bonus.
>>11307910Yeah seems so, just some repainted Mythic heads for Cosmic characters. They are $10 and they are doing limited bundles with the appropriate characters that makes them $3.
On another note, are these Aliexpress ones all knockoffs? See some listed as "Four Knights Studio" anyone ever tried getting any?
>>11307936in all my years of collecting mythic legions i have only seen the trolls being knockoff, and they were Mexico-tier single cast low quality mold and paint type thing.>honestly, it's better to buy from BBTSReminder to never miss out on a preorder if its something that you think you will like.
>>11307933I like that they're giving people options. I don't see myself getting any of the figures, I have all the wave 1 Cosmic I could want at this point. But I might grab the female head pack just to liven up my Mythic figures. >>11307940Fastest and cheapest way to get these guys. Other then the Poxxus wave, none of them ever had any serious issues and the 4H are quick to replace pieces when asked. You have to be a massive hamhands to actually break these guys though, but I will admit it's kinda terrifying to swap the hands without heating things up first. Never had a joint break, but it's still nerve wracking just tugging the hand out.
>>11307932>Kalian ShunnHow do you find her? She was one of the ones that interests me and is actually obtainable. Can you put her poncho on with the long hair and if so, can you raise the hood up or is not doable?
