Paul, you really are going all in before you get perma’d.

Who is Paul?

Ok, I don't get your problem, you are just a troll. Leave playmo gen please.

Playmobil is on the right track to becoming like Lego.

Acquire more licensed shit - Done!

Make half the figures shitskins - Done!

Charge 75% more than their junk is actually worth - Done!

Unfortunately for Playmobil, Lego has already cornered the "toddler toys for rich adult retards" market, so it won't make much of a difference.

Dungeons and Dragons but Lego already owns that license.

Do they still make the how to train your dragon playsets?

It's anon's boyfriend. They're currently having a tiff.
>>
>>11548544
Lego don't own it, they get licenseing deals and the deal with Hasbro could have been for 1 or 2 years worth of a set and cmf, we don't know more. Also, just as lego could, playmobil can do their own take on DnD without having to pay money to Hasbro.

Sadly no, they still have some available for the last dragons cartoon, nine realms I think, but no more movie stuff

Playmo is dying, but Mattel will probably buy it, invest in it for a few years then kill it

are they gonna do a subaru? I used to play a rally game when I was a kid and my main was a blue subaru.

Dino Rise. Alot of the sets are hitting Ollies now, you can gather a sizeable collection for cheap. It's effectively Dino Riders with mechs and magic.
>>
saw the kinder surprise eggs in supermarket already

r they worth getting ?
>>
>>11554511
I read somewhere that the DC figures are made of cheaper plastic and they're slightly larger by 2cm. They're basically cheap knock-offs.
>>
>>11554586
I have them, the plastic is not bad at all, not completely playmo but very close.

I do wonder if they will make normal playmobil figures and playsets for DC because they are releasing a OC superhero line.. perhaps DC with Playmo is part of Mattel deal? I'm very curious how they came to such a crossover of Playmobil x DC x Kinder Surprise
>>
>>11554504
I saw that yesterday! That was so fucking cool.

Holy kino

Do we know if these will release in all countries or are region locked? In my country we have kinder surprise with dinosaurs and kinder joy with funko pop x stranger things

>>

Very likely

>>

>What should Playmobil do to be more relevant, like Lego?
Redesign the figures so their legs can be moved independently in a walking pose and add peg holes to their feet, and also make it so they can be taken apart more easily for customization. Maybe also shorten their legs and arms a bit to give them more of a kiddie charm.

Playmobil is good at making cars. They should focus on making more cars to attract car enthusiasts. To maximize appeal to car collectors, they need to make it possible to open the doors, trunks and hoods of the cars.

They also need a Space combat theme, either creating their own or possibly acquiring the Star Wars or Halo license.
>>
>>11556879
I think they never got star wars because of hasbro since these would compete with hasbro star wars playsets. Not with lego btw because it's different type of toys. That's why they don't have Marvel either.
>>
>>11556879
>Redesign the figures so their legs can be moved independently in a walking pose
there are several figures like this, but yeah they could do all of them
>make it so they can be taken apart more easily for customization
figure series figures are already like this

Playmobil announced a big promo/marketing push for 2026 with different IPs. More to come at licensing expo in october (perhaps MotU and DC themes?). More mcdonalds promos soon too.
>>
I think Playmobil needs a license like Star Wars to stay relevant, but DC could work too, since the competition doesn’t really focus on playsets—and even Lego doesn’t make many DC sets anymore. They could profit from this, especially when James Gunn’s DCU starts producing $1 billion films, which is likely to happen soon.
>>
>>11559388
This
>>
>>11559388
There's lots of potential if they somehow marketed their props to the 1:18 crowd.

A little disclaimer at the bottom like "accesories work on 4in figures!"
>>
Playmobil has registered a new trademark, and for now, this is all there is, a grayscale logo. And a document in the German trademark registry that confirms the news. What do you imagine it could be?
At first glance, it looks like a messaging app, kind of like WhatsApp!
“Hello!”
Is it opening a channel of dialogue with users and collectors?
It’s time to speculate!
>>
>>11560103
Based on the above, it also seems to me that they are planning to open a direct communication channel between fans and the company's customer support department. This is truly welcome news!

I think if they do another anime it should be DBZ.

I also want playmobil tmnt.

I know Playmobil gets compared to Lego a lot, even though they’re totally different kinds of toys. But I’ll give them this: when Playmobil had licenses that Lego also had, like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Scooby-Doo—they really went all in. In my opinion, Playmobil did an amazing job. I don’t own any of those sets and probably never will, but I can appreciate what they did with them. They built their worlds really well.

Ollie's!

The prices seemed kinda high, for Ollie's, but Playmobil is typically expensive, so it's probably alright. I went to two different locations, and the 2nd one was totally slacking, hardly any of them out yet, so good luck if you go check

Generic knights and castles coming back to the catalogue in 2026, it seems, with Lion and Dragon Knights instead of Novelmore.
I like this. There's still a fantasy element with trolls and dragons, and I think previous Dragon Knights generally combine with Burnham Raiders very nicely, like knights and pyromancers of a common faction, so that's something to link people who liked Novelmore.

>New Knights references
72112: Great Castle of the Lion Knights
72113: Tower of the Dragon Knights
72114: Dragon Knights and great black dragon

72117: Dragon Knight with catapult
72118: Dragon Knight leader with lieutenant
72119: Lion Knight leader with worse
Found on amclicks forums (Spanish), no pics yet, will be updated with pics in the future. They have the names of first half of 2026 new stuff. Includes Barbie and others.

I wonder if we get Masters of the Universe next year, I guess it should be announced at NYCC or Brand Licensing Europe in October. Probably will be movie based if they happen.

Asterix, Ladybug and Naruto seem to be over. Also Playmobil seems to focus on kids market again and abandon the adult market from the looks of it.

New lines are Esa Space and Mattel IPs such as Monster High and Barbie. Perhaps MotU if we are luvky and Hot Wheels to have boy properties too.

find a "rich person" neighborhood
search for local mom-n-pop, brick n mortar toy stores near that area of town

for example, there's a local toy store in Princeton that always gets the new Playmobil stuff. they were doing so well with it, that one year, they opened up a Playmobil-only extra store in the same shopping area! (that was years ago though, their Playmobil section got a lot smaller recently)
