Got that Titan Heroes Galactus. Here he is with some MLs, he's alright for $20 I guess. I would've liked him to be a smidge bigger though. Oh well, for the price I guess I can't complain. Still wish I didn't skip the HasLab, but even now, I still can't justify a toddler sized action figure, even if I did think the original price was worth it.
>>11586408woops, forgot pic
>>11586389Is that Burning Loins Skrull?
Are all pinned MLs doomed to have their legs deform if you leave them standing? Or is standing fine and its only if they are stored away where the legs can get into positions that force them in unnatural directions?
>>11586425Where in the hell did you get such an idea from?
>>11586425I can only see that happening with some of the women.
>>11586436Because the knee joints are gummy, and almost every female figure I see on ebay of any age tends to have a deformed knee joint on one or both of the knees. I assume it'd be safer to just store them laying down and not keep them standing to avoid stress on the joint, or use a flight stand.
>>11586425Why are you acting like pinned figures haven't existed for years without issues? I swear you faggots are getting more retarded by the day.
>>11586461What? I've had this Invisible Woman standing on my shelf for like six or seven years on my shelf and her knees are fine. Sure, sometimes figures knees can warp if they're super gummy, but it's not like it's an issue with every figure you see. Not sure where you're even getting this.
>>11586436nta but I also assume the same thing, I don't collect legends but every old legends i see with pins is bow legged.
>>11586463It's not all pinned figures, mostly only female MLs with pins that tend to have the issue. Maybe some male figures. It's probably due to the smaller size of the knee joint.>>11586474Actually your own image is an indictment. The leg we see on our right (her left) is too off center to really judge properly so I'd ignore that one, but the one on our left (her right) is mostly on center, and is visibly leaning out a bit. Good condition for 6-7 years all things withstanding and better than typical ebay figures, but it's definitely not straight.
>>11586530The fucking autism on this board is unreal sometimes. I know we're collecting toys and shit, but come on guys, reign it in a little bit.
>>11586535For the price these things cost, they should be flawless out of the box and last until the heat death of the universe.
>>11586530I mean, if we're going by that, pinless does the same thing. So, I'm still not exactly sure where you're getting this whole pinned joints warp worse, especially since it hasn't really been ever mentioned in the years since pinless became a thing. >>11586542Expecting mass produced sub $30 toys to be perfect is a fools errand. It just isn't going to happen. Nothing is perfect.
>>11586552those legs are straight, do you not see the difference between her and sue?
>>11586555there isn't a difference
>>11586555It's miniscule at best. Pinless legs warp too. The only way to avoid it is using sturdier plastic but US safety regulations disallow this.
>>11586557Protip: McFarlane uses the sturdier plastic for their joints which are hard plastic rather than gummy.
>>11586573And they move like shit.
>>11586580True but proof that harder plastics can be used in joints
>>11586552The Japanese manage it, why the fuck can't the Amerifats?
>>11586629Different safety standards than in the US. Also, Jap figures cost more than sub $30. >>11586584If we're being technical they're the same type of plastic. Toys produced in America are regulated to be made of certain materials. The mix is probably different causing more stiffness and less gumminess, but they're still following American safety standards. Meanwhile in Japan they use metal discs in their joints to help with durability.
>>11586637Yes, they're likely both POM as joints typically are now. Just Hasbro's are softer with more plasticizer in the mix, while McFarlane's are hard with less plasticizer in the mix.
>>11586637>Different safety standards than in the USAmerica has standards? Your streets are full of homeless druggies.
>>11586629>>11586637>different standardsYes yes, the standards, remember the standards. Just ignore the more costly for the company by 1/1000th of a cent metal pin joints...Surely no small local company like Hasbro could ever afford such a thing.
>>11586425Post pictures, you fucking idiot.
The Born Again figures are in stock at Target right now. There's also two different deals going on, save $10 on a toy purchase of $40 or save $20 on a toy purchase of $75 or more. I ended up grabbing both Born Again figs, and Battle Damaged Spidey and since shipping was free I only ended up paying $75 for all three. Not bad considering the MtG shit is $40. Wish they had Man Wolf in stock though as I'd use the $10 off $40 coupon on him to get him for $30. Maybe I'll go check in store later this week.
>>11586793holly smokes!
>>11586408>>11586410dunno what the current price is, but you should look into the marvel universe galactus if you'd like an option in-between
>>11586629lower quality plastic because they are toys. That's why everyone bitches about gummy joints when they use to be harder plastic
What's the best The Thing figure? I just want him. No preference on line or scale except no 1/6th stuff.
>>11586805Hey, it brings the Born Again figs down to $19. Worth it imo. Does anyone know if the deal is in store too?
Finally got Shuma in. I dig him. Never thought we'd get something like this.

>>11587455Yeah, what're you going to do about it?
>>11587453This was posted last thread, everyone shat on it.
>>11587458Everyone's pretty stupid then
>>11587467Looks like dogshit, but keep lying to yourself.
Aside from the "muh pinless", what's the point of yet another Iceman? Is he that different from the previous 2 or 3 that he fills some team roster or something?
>>11587489Just pinless really, and probably just an excuse to get him out there again, we haven't gotten him since what, 2019?
>>11587489I like the new ice effects but I already have the retro card one and like it more. I'd get it if it goes clearance.
>>11587452Yeah, he's great. Juggernaut is great too. Easily the best figures in the entire line at this point.
>>11587507I can't justify paying full price for him when I already have the BaF. It's the same reason I skipped the 2 pack with Colossus since I already had the Select of him, and it scales close enough. I may get this new Juggy if he goes on sale. He does look pretty good. I was also pretty happy with the Thanos/Psylocke pack, but that was the only other Gamerverse set I got. I skipped everything else.
>>11587453This is NOT how to do shading
>>11587453>if I post it again, maybe this time they'll like itlol, lmao even.
>>11587496>>11587500Yeah, I have the Juggernaut BAF wave version and the Amazing Friends 3pack, but can't remember if I ever grabbed the retro card version which could be stashed away in some box somewhere. New one looks good though, maybe I'll remove the belt and use him as a classic roster filler.
>>11587489Fucking ridiculous those are clip on crap instead of glued to separate hands.
>>11587565Clip ons can be used by anyone, whereas integrated hands can only be used by the individual character they came with and maybe a few who match skin color
>>11587489I wish they do Ultimate X-Men (og ones not new nip lolies) before MCU and Wolverine game inevitable consume all future x-waves.
>>11587453Looks tight
you all need to stop talking shit about me. im sick of it.
>>11587578Sorry we don't like your shitty 1/6 figgah
>>11587452I've always wanted a toy of my favorite character, but im just glad it exists.
>>11586556Kekaroonie. Are you serious? Im not the anon you were talking to, but clearly the pinless legs are less gummy and warped. The plastic even feels more solid. I'd be shocked if anyone hadn't noticed.
>>11587598they aren't
>>11587489I already have picrel pre-ordered, but considering we may not see it until 2027 I will probably grab this if I see if go on clearance for the effects.
>>11587599They are. You blind troll.
>>11587507The lack of detail on the muscles bugs me. Looks like a cheap Fischer Price toy for babies compared to the Select (which is a brick in terms of posability).
>>11586389>not “Hot Pants Edition”Missed opportunity, OP.
I don't know how the FF movie toys sold so well. I just saw the movie and it was quite a letdown in its usage of Galactus.
>>11587624He’ll be back in doomsday. They had to introduce him before.
>>11587646Only if Franklin uses him as a Pokemon
>>11587604>but considering we may not see it until 2027Its literally scheduled for Jan 2026
>>11587701how retarded are you that you think this mafex will meet the initial projection?
>>11587716Mafex figures don't usually get delayed for a full year. None that I can think of, at least. A few months usually.
>>11587716Yeah, I'm referring to the Hasbro figure. Thanks for your hostility though, enjoy talking to yourself because I'm closing this tab and going elsewhere. I'm sick of this fucking forum with the trolls, angry autists, and the horrible jannies that abuse the ban function.Enjoy your stay here though, with an attitude like yours I'm sure you've been kicked out of every other forum.Shit like this is why all of /toy/ is fucking dead.
>>11587725>Yeah I'm referring to the Hasbro figureHe wasn't, when he typed>We may not see it till 2027And was specifically referring to the wait for that Mafex in relation to getting the Hasbro figure as stopgap basicallyYou're a fucking retard and a little bitch
>>11587720Hasn't Rogue been delayed like three times?
>>11587514I don't have the BAF, and that one is also tiny compared to this one.
>>11587489I don’t have one yet. I’m getting back into ML to get a MVC roster collection, and he’s a part of it. I just wish he had the flat top hairstyle featured in the game. But this one comes with some nice accessories so it seems good for a regular price release.
>>11587489>what's the point of yet another Iceman?Queer representation.
>>11587855When are they going to update this? And no I'm not counting the inversely colored one. It's a glaring omission from Spidey shelves. Honestly, I'd get a whole FF wave. The main four, Annihilation Johnny, and throw in an adult Frankin and Annihilus as the BaF and you have a pretty nice wave.
>>11587783You can give him a flat top using clear UV resin and a UV pen light.
>>11587731Yeah. Reading comprehension isnt a lot of peoples strong suit. Anyway I stand by what I said. The mafex is scheduled for May and we've already seen Rogue delayed from April to November, so there is potential to not have Iceman inhand until xmas/new year 2027.$25 is a small price to pay to have a stand in for 12 months.
>>11587886Eh, not him but personally I'd just wait if I were already getting the Mafex. I'm in that board with Punisher. I've got the Mafex ordered so I don't see the value in getting the ML set with Nick Fury.
>>11587891Yeah. I feel ya. Ill probably only bother if it goes on sale and the mafex is significantly delayed.
>>11587686This will happen.
>>11587453Hasbro should have done this version for the VHS box, and released the cross hatch version as a minicomic release mainline.
>>11588128Of course it will. They always skip over decades of classics (Everyone vs. Galactus, Judgement Day, Parable, Hearld Ordeal, Tyrant) to get to the nuMarvel slop.

What the fuck did they do to they barbell neck joint is it only mine? It’s definitely engineered differently, but it’s stuck , I can’t shift the joint forward at all.
cant tilt head down
>>11588671>>11588673That doesn't seem right. Maybe it's stuck? I've seen some pics of this figure not having the best QC, especially where the drop down hips break. I get mine tomorrow according to Target so we'll see how mine turns out. I'd recommend being very careful with this figure.
>>11588676>$40 figure doesn't have good qc>people keep buying from this company The myth of humans as rational economic actors has long been dispelled
>>11588676found mine at Target today, Could be stuck, but it’s definitely engineered differently. It’s hard to get a good picture of what I mean, but you can visibly see the ball joint in the neck on the RYV version. On this battle-damaged version, though, you can’t — only the rod. The ball itself (if it’s even there) goes straight into the neck and isn’t visible.
>>11588697Hasbro adding drm to their figures so we can't swap heads
>>11588697What about on the maximum
>>11588684The $40 is a shitty tienin gimmick with MtG. It's otherwise the normal priced shit so of course the QC will be the same. I got mine for $30 anyway using that Target deal.
>>11588444idk sorry
>>11587489They've been slowly remaking the classic X-Factor line-up. We've gotten Angel and X-Factor costume Marvel Girl and Cyclops. So might as well toss in a new Iceman while waiting for the budget to free up to release a proper Brown/Yellow X-Factor Costume human Beast figure to complete the team.
>>11588673Because you're not trying

>>11588735Don't try to justify it, the cardboard is worth 1 penny
>>11589006I don't disagree. Only reason I got Spidey was because I got it discounted down to $30. I want Man Wolf too but unless I can do the same for him, he's a skip. All I'm saying is that's why they're up charging for the line. I'm not defending anything. The people on this board have a fucking reading comprehension problem and it's getting annoying. Explaining why they did something doesn't justify it, especially when I outright call it a shitty stupid tie in in the very post you say I'm defending them. I hate how stupid most of you are.

NYCC was a disappointment, but at least the older Enchantress will be sold for even cheaper now, making it easier to get the chest piece for fodder.
>>11590118I've purchased Mafexes, Bring Arts, SHFs, Yamaguchis, weird Chinese figures, and others. None of them are as overengineered as that crotch (my SHFs were before the Crazy Crotches.) And thats saying a lot given Yamaguchi is often over engineered.
>>11590175I thought people are saying the new Enchantress has the same chest
>>11590182I believe it does, but since it's other parts are updated people will want to unload the old and buy the new. All I want is the chest, so it should work out for me.
>>11589284>>11589288I legit just bought an old Toy Biz 10" Apocalypse because I didn't have any Apocalypse yet, I wanted him to be big, I didn't want to pay the price increase for any of the older Legends, and because I didn't like the purple on the previous retro release. If they would have made this one all blue and like $60 cheaper I might have regretted that purchase but I'm honestly still happier using the old Toy Biz one.

Goddamn Target is the fucking worst. So my DD and Punisher shipped a few days ago and are moving through the system, and while my Battle Damaged Spidey had a shipping label created, it never updated. >>11591030I ended up getting Logan, Werewolf, Enchantress, and Iron Man. Didn't really want Iron Man since the suit looks kind of terrible, but I decided I needed it for my Hall of Armor. I got mine on Amazon though.
>>11591096Yeah, I didn't want Iron Man at all, but if the BAF just HAD to be with either him or Logan, I'd prefer the IM. Logan just doesn't work with my displays so he's an easy pass at $28. I also didn't want the black Spiderman with 6 arms, as I recall from reading Dark Avengers he was mostly background and didn't do much. As for Enchantress, I'm happy with the previous version and didn't really want to drop another $28, but I need that Executioner. There aren't many more BAF's they can really tempt me with, but he's one. This hobby is getting so expensive that I'm excited when I can skip releases. Thank God my Star Wars & GI Joe purchases have dwindled down to only a handful of each per year. Now with Nacelle's Star Trek, Jada's Scooby Doo, and a few others...damn.
>>11591090>pinned >outdated articulation >the kneeIt is objectively shit and paying $30 for it is beyond cucked
>>11591114Yeah I didn't care about Crystar's buddy enough to get him, even though I have Crystar himself and don't care about the version of Dark Avengers Al Apac was on. I don't care about Phantom Rider either. I may grab the parts online if they're cheap, but at the same time, I don't see many people wanting those three characters so they'll probably hit discount at one point or another.
They really need to slow down. It seems like i have a dozen or so figures on preorder now. We need more crappy waves and movie waves full of Mbaku and Shuri that are easily skipped
>>11591114>Now with Nacelle's Star Trek, Jada's Scooby Doo, and a few others...damnSame lol
>>11591125Yeah, I'm a bit ambivalent. Normally I'd wait for clearance, but they don't seem to be manufacturing them as much as other waves, and I've not been as successful finding clearance stuff at Ross (Ollies is 3hrs away from me), and haven't had a major Target clearance score in 2 or 3 years. Unless it's Amazon or BBTS, its hit or miss. And honestly, it seems like they've dropped BAF to like once a year-ish now.Phantom Rider - want, actuallyWarbow - yeah, sure why not? Not mad at all. I remember him.
Has there ever been a time when as many MLs were online only? I don't see things like 'clearance ' really being a thing anymore. And Amazon and other online stores seem to know it with how they bump up prices. Physical retail was a hedge against online retail and now online is going to press their endless warehouse advantage
>that’ll be $27.99 + tip
>>11591164Really, because I've been seeing deals online all week. It's been killing my wallet. I got the Mojo 3 pack for $50 recently. I'm also on the fence about spending $40 for the Lilandra 2 pack but I really don't want Brood Logan. Also, is feel obligated to get Warlord Chuck, but he's only $5 at Walmart.

>>11591237>Those are all old figures and besides Lilandra, low desirability.Yeah, and what do you think clearance is? It's for old and not as desired figures. How many Wolverines and Spider Men have you been seeing get clearanced?
>>11591174Could they really not have included a Vermin head and crossed off 2 characters at once?
>>11591239Clearance doesn't really happen on Amazon, they have eternal warehouses and can keep something for as long as they need. Only thing that happens is sales. But Brood Wolverine is closest you're gonna get to clearance, and he's "technically" a Wolverine
>>11591337>Clearance doesn't really happen on Amazon>TONS of shit on clearance on AmazonYou clearly have mental issues
>>11591174>>11591225>that kneepadI think that counts
>>11591361You don't know what clearance is. When figures go on clearance the price keeps going down until it's sold and doesn't rise back up. Amazon puts things on sale temporarily and then constantly jerks the price up and down with AI adjustment. I don't care if they label it clearance, that's not what clearance is.

>>11589882>To be fair, we weren't really getting X-Men figures for the longest time during the 2010s, so they're making up for it.There was only one year where when Marvel Legends didn't have any X-Men. One year. They've more than made up for that by now, and any post-90s X-Men figures tend to be a really hard sell for all but the most hardcore fans.>Also, X-Men 97 is the newest hotnessApparently the cartoon got less viewers than the What If? cartoon, but it got much more online discussion.
>>11589853"What the hell is this suit and where is it from?" are reasonable questions, as there are so many Iron Man armors that haven't been made into figures yet, they have so many better options than that thing. I thought it was a new Ironheart figure from the thumbnails.
>>11591554When the prices go up, and as civilization enters collapse, the first world longs for bootlegs, because we can no longer afford the real thing.
lmao someone reported me for being mean to the import shill for saying he doesn't like marvel figures in this thread
>>11591554This place has been backwards for years now cause of hype beast normies
>>11591571Now that you mention it, it's possible it was meant to be synergy. Wiki dates Mark 72 from February 2024 while Ironheart aired June 2025. While it may sound a little farfetched at first, I'm reminded of ASM suffering beats from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man years in advance, another show with troubled production and uncertain schedule.
>>11591605Part of the issue is all these Spidermen and Wolverines that keep getting made. They're feeding a certain kind of collector, ones who do not want the only thing Marvel Legends offers--BREADTH and DEPTH of characters. One can get other figures elsewhere of Wolverine or Spiderman. But Nowhere else can we get Enchantress or Crystar, etc. The fact that every wave has to have a Spiderman and a Wolverine now is very disturbing.
>>11591612>Part of the issue is all these Spidermen and Wolverines that keep getting made. They're feeding a certain kind of collector, ones who do not want the only thing Marvel Legends offers--BREADTH and DEPTH of characters. One can get other figures elsewhere of Wolverine or Spiderman. One, that's some fierce cope given how surface level and all around disrespectful ML is. Two, that's also what spider-fags are doing as imports rarely explore anything and from what I know of Wolverine, his offerings are even worse.
>>11589255Glad I held on to my old ToyBiz. How disappointing.
>>11591567There were a number of years where Marvel tried to minimize the X-Men on all merchandise fronts to the point of replacing them on t-shirts that had the Secret Wars #1 cover on them. They were pushing the Inhumans. So we got very minimal X-Men stuff for a number of years, the fact we went a whole year without a single X-Man is wild.
Lmao, so my package with Battle Damaged Spidey finally updated, after I called Target and they already filed a replacement, that has a different tracking number. Wtf? Am I getting two now? Should I just keep the second one?
>>11591443>You don't know what clearance is.>Amazon puts things on sale temporarily and then constantly jerks the price up and down.......So???? That's still clearance you fucking retard. Unless they put it back to their original price then that's a sale, but the 5-pack with Stryfe has been $50-ish give or take for ages now and never back to it's original price, that's fucking clearance you absolute dunce. Just admit you're a stupid fucking child who gets angry when proven wrong, we all see it. You don't get to change definitions to fit your little tantrums.
>>11591676>Am I getting two now? Should I just keep the second one?Give the extra to NECA's warehouse

>>11591716Ok, I guess.
>>11591644>There were a number of years>t-shirts>the InhumansBut in toys it was just one year. Hasbro have more than made up for that since then. Hasbro didn't make many Inhumans toys during the entire 2010s, and they're only just announcing that they're going to complete the core 6. It's time to let it go, anon.
>>11591722Yes it was one year that they didn't make ANY X-Men figure. But then you're ignoring the several years where we still only got a handful of X-Men compared to Avengers and Spider-Man. X-Men are popular again now that Disney got the movie rights back. Didn't you know?
>>11591726>X-Men are popular again now that Disney got the movie rights back. Didn't you know?If you say so, anon. Still looks to me like a franchise that got taken over and hollowed out by the gays, and the longtime fans didn't even seem to notice, and are more concerned with throwing an eternal bitchfit over Marvel having the sheer audacity to try pushing the Inhumans and over the merch and games situation that only affected a few years in the 2010s. There's a reason only 1990s X-Men merch actually sells, and it's because modern X-Men is utterly repellent to normies. In terms of toys, they have more than made up for that period since then, and it's insane that you're still complaining about it almost ten years later after some of the deep cuts they've made since then.
>>11591722NTA but you are aware Disney planned to push the Inhumans within the MCU in place of the X-men as Fox still had the rights, but the movie they planned turned into a tv show and both versions were massively delayed and the tv show that did end up releasing was like a CW budget piece of shit. This same philosophy was also the only reason the Eternals ever went into production in the first place.
>>11591743Anon, the X-Men were an analogy for the gays since their literal inception. I mean, look at how they dress.
X-men has always been for literal gays and ens while normal people have Avengers and Fantastic Four.
>>11591770And for all it's flaws, the Inhumans show was nothing remotely like X-Men. If they'd actually made an Inhumans movie with a movie budget, it would have been it's own thing too. The comics tried to turn the Inhumans into replacement X-Men at a time when the actual X-Men weren't selling that well, and it worked about as well as you'd expect. The Eternals was about Kevin Feige trying to turn a lesser-known Marvel property into an Oscar-bait movie and failing, not about trying to replace X-Men in an age where the MCU had been turning Literally Who? properties into bigger cinematic successes than X-Men had been.>>11591781Even if you actually believe that nonsense, they've long since gone from "it's a metaphor" to "no, this is actually gay".
>>11591810I'm honestly beginning to think you're just gone deaf anon. If you don't see how the X-Men are an analogy for gays then you are fucking retarded.
>>11591701Another example is Amazon listing the Mojo World set at like $70 for months now. It dipped to $55 during Prime day and I grabbed it for that price then but now it's sitting at like $62 or so. Looking elsewhere, even on sale, the set is going for like $80.
>>11591810>The Eternals was about Kevin Feige trying to turn a lesser-known Marvel property into an Oscar-bait movie and failing, not about trying to replace X-Men in an age where the MCU had been turning Literally Who? properties into bigger cinematic successes than X-Men had been.It did become that, like years after it was announced (in 2015, originally as a tv show, then announced again in 2018 as a movie, which then released in 2021), but it was only slated in first place because they wanted an "ensemble" series about people with powers, which again they would not have bothered with at all if they'd had the X-Men to use.Nobody at Marvel had any specific ideas about what the Eternals would actually be, they just hired Chloe Zhao and gave her creative control. She was also not specifically there for the Eternals, she was simply on Disney-Marvel's shortlist of directors they wanted to use, she also came very close to directing Black Widow. All they wanted was a movie about a super team, and at that point they still believed anything they made would clear a billion.
>>11591834Also if the Inhumans movie had actually worked out, and somehow done super well, they definitely wouldn't have made the Eternals either.
>>11591644Why did they hate xmen at that time? Fox?
>>11591701>>11591833Read the link to understand the difference between a sale and clearance >>11591506Clearance's goal is to get rid of the item. The price doesn't go back up because they lower the price until they are all gone, cleared away.
>>11591952Yes, there was literally a top-down mandate to downplay the X-Men (and Fantastic Four) for most of the 2010s, and this included the comics. That's why the FF got relegated to piecemealed Walgreens exclusives for their debut under Hasbro's ML series, for example. It wasn't until the Fox buyout was set in stone (which happened years before it actually took place, because that's how corporate shit works) that we got that full Super Skrull BAF wave.
This latest wave is technically the enchantress wave given the baf
>>11591703Go fuck yourself
>>11591958Going by your definition, wouldn't the Mojo World pack count? It started as over $100 and then dropped to $70 for months, only to drop a little bit more during Prime Day, and it still hasn't even gone back up to $70. I don't know what else you would consider that if it isn't clearance.

>>11592205Just pisses me off that we can't trust renders when pre-ordering shit. Just put the pins on the renders if they are gonna have them.Oh well. I have 2 coming so they'll still be nice to have I guess.
Welp, Target shipped out both the replacement Battle Damage Spidey and the original one. Checked my account this morning and it updated to say to keep the first item to either keep, donate, or recycle. Cool I guess, I do feel kind of bad about it as it was never my intention to get two, especially for the discounted price. I didn't even initially ask for a replacement when I called in, I just asked if there was an issue or something since it had been packaged, but not sent to FedEx for almost a week. But they jumped the gun and offered either a refund or replacement so I opted for the latter. Oh well, I guess I'll have a second one for trade fodder I guess. Maybe I can use it to trade for a Man Wolf.
>>11592271>But they jumped the gun and offered either a refund or replacement so I opted for the latter.Having worked in a fulfillment department before, it's usually easier to just send a replacement than to go through the logistics of trying to figure out why the original hasn't been sent/isn't moving/can't be track/has been sent but hasn't updated, etc. This isn't them going out of their way for you, this is them trying to avoid a ton of extra work that will likely end with "we still can't figure out where the package is"
>>11592287Works for me I guess, I wasn't planning on getting the MtG stuff because fuck paying an extra $15 for a Tranny the Gathering card, but bringing it down to $30 with Targets sales and then getting a second one out of the deal, makes it pretty worth it imo. There's a local card shop by my house, I'll probably flip the card there from the one I open and then sit on the 2nd one for a year or two before just flipping it sealed. I don't like MtG so I really don't want the card. And it seems to be selling on eBay which is outrageous to me.
>>11592190>>11592205Their pinless technology failed them
>>11592287>This isn't them going out of their way for you,Also, I'm aware of that. Didn't really imply they were, just that they pulled the trigger on a replacement/refund before I even asked for one. Not sure why you felt the need to oont that out.
>>11592296You literally said you felt bad about it
>>11592296>they pulled the trigger on a replacement/refund before I even asked for onethat post literally explains why they did thatmost companies will do that because it's too much of a pain in the ass to actually figure out what's happeningthis is straight up company policy in a lot of places
>>11592313>this is straight up company policy in a lot of placesIt's this. I work at a check order company and if anyone hasn't gotten their checks our bosses want us to just send a replacement with free rush delivery. Most of the time we'd have no way of knowing what the problem is anyway because we don't have a direct line to the plant or the couriers.
>>11592219Yeah. It is annoying, but the pins were visible at SDCC, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.
>>11592321Yeah. Like I said. It will still be nice to have them and whilst not 100% accurate to their 70's designs I got 2 to replicate picrel in my display.

>>11591817Anon, if you think the original 1963 X-Men were created as an analogy for gays you're even more retarded. That's what it's become in modern times, not what it was created to be.It's well documented that Kirby and Lee were inspired by earlier pulp sci-fi stories about emerging races of superhumans, "would they be friends or foes", and the mutant concept also just being a way to avoid having to write origin stories. There's no deliberate gay analogies until stuff like the Legacy Virus in the early 90s, long after earlier writers like Claremont had already been doing "mutants are a metaphor for blacks sometimes and Jews at other times".
>>11591834>>11591837Inhumans was a pet project of Ike Perlmutter, something he really wanted to make, it wasn't just wanting an "ensemble cast thing about people with powers". They already had Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy both being ensemble cast superhero groups with powers, and both of them performing a lot better than Fox's X-Men movies. Disney/Marvel didn't need "their own X-Men" because they were already outperforming the actual X-Men. Inhumans was, for whatever reason, a Marvel property Ike actually liked and wanted to adapt, but Keven Feige didn't see anything in and didn't want to make. In contract, Black Panther and Captain Marvel were movies Fiege wanted to make and Ike was against as he saw them as unlikely to make any money. Feige won a power struggle with Ike, who lost any control over the movies, Feige then dropped the Inhumans movie he never wanted to make, and Ike turned his dream project into a TV show, but didn't want to spent any money on it.Eternals may well have been developed out of whatever early work had been done towards an Inhumans movie, but by the time any real work on it started, Disney were already buying Fox's library of IPs, Eternals wasn't being made as "an X-Men substitute", and again, the MCU was outperforming X-Men, they didn't need their own version of something they were already more popular and successful than.
>>11592670>getting mad someone posted a proper thread with updated info and proper linksWhy though?
