Wednesday is the only day to go to read pirated comics. I’m actually getting excited to see what’s up with this movie. I’ve been at this since day 1 in ‘82 and been back every time MOTU has reared its head in toy form. The 87 movie was a disappointment as kid but I’ve come to appreciate as an adult. I was there all through Classics with the Guru year after year coming with a fantastic script and it’s happening for sure this time. The Orgers back then only wanted the movie happen so we would get Classics in stores and didn’t care if it was good or shit. I’m hoping to for a retail blitz of stuff but stuff so far looks good, but we’ll see how that trailer looks.

At a book signing with Val Staples from the Org one of the guys from the board showed up in a Tri Klops costume that was really incredible. They even host demonstrations and classes to show people how easy it is to do. One of my favs was the porn chick who’d show up as She-Ra at the Power Cons. She was awesome.
