>>11683569I don't mind paying full price for an actual action figure.Civilian fodder, I would prefer a bargain.
Black Suit Spider-Man, Daredevil and Carnage are getting reissued.
>>11683722Are they ever gonna make a Hulk?
>>11683722I don't have Carnage, inb4 Carnage doesn't have a mouth, but Black Suit Spidey and Daredevil are top tier figs. Jump on that shit if you haven't already.
>>11683146>>11683150Thanks, bros. Think I'll cherrypick the Mafex releases I want and just get Legends of the rest unless SHF surprises us and their releases after Cyclops are a bit larger in scale. Regardless, nice to not be stuck with just Marvel Select anymore. I waited 15 fucking years for them to finish their X-men only for the line to die first.
>>11683726Probably, last Mafex exhibition featured movie Venom, movie Carnage, Doomsday, Lobo, etc. They'll probably make a Mark Ruffalo Hulk before comic Hulk though.>>11683755I am definitely getting Black Suit Spider-Man
>>11683726It was on the leak list that, so far, I think has been accurate.
>>11683856nvm it was MCU Hulk.
>>11682843Ve[NO]m....
>>11683576>MCU evergreen lineWhat does that mean?
>>11683925The single packed MCU assortment
>>11683722Jesus H. Christ, how about you get some of your ever-increasing backlog of new figures out, Medicom?
>>11683934Oh i see. Didn't know they have such a unique name lol
>>11683936ROFL!
>>11683755>>11683761>Black Suit Spider-ManThis is not the one in stores right now? I went to a different Target to see if they had one of those Disney displays with all the MLs (it didn't) but they did have one on the pegs? It's not that carded release?
>>11684009Do you know realize were discussing Mafex? Related, I did see the new Spidey wave in store and impulse bought the new Black Suit. It looks kinda meh, but I think I'll use it for parts. Plus Target is still pricing Legends in store at the old price point.
Interesting. This might not be a pre-order and might just shadow drop today.
Put the evergreen ML head on the mafex classic suit body and I really like the look, this is going to be the only Cap I need right now. Even though the mafex body articulation could have been better but the joints of the feels really good, epsecially compare to the mafex Nightwing I got in the same shippment.
>>11684142
>>11684142>>11684144Nice, looks pretty good.
>>11684121The power of pinned technology
>>11684173Some of you put way too much into whether or not a figure is pinned.
>>11684218It's all they got.
>>11684011>realizeshould have - from this context clue: >>11683722 - but obviously I wasn't wide awake!
I GO WHERE I WANNA GO
>>11684254Don't worry, I was half asleep when I replied to you, as you can probably tell from my incoherent reply.
>>11684218Pinless double joints were introduced almost 6 years ago now. It's quite shitty that they have still not phased them out entirely.
>>11684256>and I cum where I wanna cum
>>11684270Why are you guys such weird sex pests? Holy fucking shit.>>11684264I don't disagree with you that they should've phased out pinned stuff a while ago, but unless it's breaking up the costume design, which it doesn't with like 99% of figures, it just doesn't bother me. I do like the superior stability pinless offers, but at the same time, you can still get warped knees even with pinless, so it's not like a be all end all solution. You would need to change up the plastic that Hasbro uses to be less gummy, but due to US safety standards, that won't happen. It just is what it is.
>>11684142Why couldn't hasbro make an updated version of this figure... ;-;
>>11684218Hasbro caused it by marketing the 'pinless technology ' heavily and so it backfires when they reuse pinned molds. It's their own fault.
>>11684411Yeah it was the same thing with the Maximum line. Advertised as the best version of a character they can make, and started with a brand new Spider-Man mold, only for the very next figure to feature heavy reuse of a 7 year old mold and a rubber overlay that everyone knew would quickly deteriorate.
>>11684411>>11684419Are you guys really gullible enough to believe these marketing tactics? Come on now.
>>11684457Calling out that they're cheap doesn't mean we believe they would do better.
>>11684142>>11684144I actually really like this as well but have no clue how it looks with the factory head. Also, I would prefer to pose MCU cap without a helmet and generally only like TFA and WWI suit and I already own the single and two pack with Peggy.
>>11683016probably 90% of the leaks you've ever seen on the internet have come from 4chan
>>11684467Yeah ngl I've been coming here more and more
when is the fucking johnny blaze figure going up for order?
>>11684550Next week
This was clearance @ $5.99 so grabbed, figuring the two weapons and his legs/boots were worth that. What else can I do with his torso besides put it in a fodder lot? I haven't opened it yet to see if the mask is fun.
What's everyone's favorite Toy Biz Spider-Man animated 1994 figure of Spidey other than the "super articulated one"?
>>11684804this is the only toy biz Spider-Man I care about
>>11684804The one the anon above me posted and I believe there was a carnage and venom from that line I also loved. I also liked the spider killer silver alien and the brown scary bugs and the trio arachnid killer toys.
>>11684804Doppelganger, Carnage 2, Lasher
>>11684804This Future variant, simply because the costume was just too cool.
>>11684804Before my time. This is the only Toy Biz animated Spider-man figure I ever got. Got her brand new in box at a yard sale as a kid.
Which way, lads? They're not too far apart price-wise right now since the Mafex got rereleased and the Legends is out of stock.
>>11685243Mafex if the price isn't that different. If you could get the ML at MSRP, I'd say go for that, but if it's really that expensive now, you may as well get the Mafex.
>>11685243Mafex, and CT curved claws if you can find a set on eBay.
>>11684804This 10in mother fucker right here. I had a few other, smaller scaled Spideys like Web Pump, and Web Wings, but my mom got me and my brother this guy and the deluxe Hobgoblin for Christmas one year and the rest was history. Loved this thing, I know that my original one is gone, but I may actually have the smaller ones still. My mom gave me a bunch of tubs of all my old toys that she kept over the years, I need to go through them still, they're just sitting on a shelf in my garage right now.
>>11685255Fuck, I just double checked, meant Web Cannon, and Web Glider. Web Glider was my first figure of Spidey actually
>>11684121What do you know, he is in stock. Anyone getting him?
>>11685311I'll wait for the bin. I wanted the Diamond one really bad because of his size.
Are they going to do more gamerverse stuff? I was really liking it. Except for Shuma Gorath.
>>11685251Can get the Legends for around $35-40 compared to the Mafex for around $66 after shipping if I ship it with another figure. On the fence since each one has things I don't like. Lack of painting on the arm hair or angry head with the Legends. Blue stripes, straight claws, and shoulder joints that break up the lines when posing on the Mafex. If only the Gamerverse Legends wasn't so huge.>>11685253None available right now, unfortunately. Is there a specific CT toys tiger stripe release that came with curved claws or is it a swap with the brown suit claws?
>>11685368$66 shipped for the Mafex is a legit steal. If you can get it for that price, I'd go that route. Yeah, I have the same complaints as you, but that's just too good of a deal to pass up. As for the CT curved claws, I think they included a pair for Tiger Stripe with Hellverine if I'm not mistaken.
Impulse purchased Spider Venom the other day at Target since MLs are still $25 there. Saw someone post a similar edit with this head on the new 2099, wanted to try it with the Mafex and goddamn it works way better than I expected. Only downside is there's some symbiote goo on his right cheek but from this angle you don't see it. Head sits rather nicely on the body too, even without anything securing it. I dig it.
>>11685243Mafex has the larger genitals if that is a factor.
>>11685442Also wanted the Spidey head for my Sinister Spider-Man that hangs out with my Dark Avengers. I really like this head, looks much more sinister.
>>11685448

Anyone know if there will be an upcoming bootleg for this? I'm sorry I just can't justify the price point of figures nowadays. Even figuarts is like 30% more pricey since last last year
>>11685867I just saw this figure in person recently. It’s humongous. It’s like 12” tall. Why?
>>11683576New to collecting here. Does SHF do re-issue? I cant get SHF Cyclops in srp price anymore.
Always knew 2099SM had bad proportions, specially the big hands, but look at that.

>>11687199Nice
I think that's too big
>>11687330wacky races reboot lookin good
>>11687330It is. Once a toy gets that big it just doesn't make sense as a collectible. Collectibles aren't meant to take up a large part of a room.
>>11687348It's true, well, I guess it depends on how much space you have
>>11687348I mean, if you have a dedicated space for it and it doesn't sit in your actual living space, then yeah. I have a whole room in my house dedicated to my collection and even I think something like that is too big.
>>11687330What's funny is how many people suggested this as a possible Haslab, apparently unaware of just how massive this would have to be. Even then it's underscaled, since the Blackbird is meant to be a larger version of the SR-71 which is 107 feet long. A 1/12 scale SR-71 would be pushing 9 feet.

Once a toy reaches a certain size, it's not really a toy anymore and might as well be statueshit.
>>11687366I don't think you need it to be bigger than this. Although, who would actually even display it with figures in it, it's really clear why they don't bother making one
What Wolverine should I look for? I'm back to collecting after years, and out of all of the options, it seems the Marvel Legends Wolverine Gameverse looks like the best option? Cool Wolverine + Cool PropsI recently got a Silver Surfer from Marvel Legends and I quite enjoyed it, too.

>>11687352Damn, the Leopardon is pretty cool. What bike is that?
>>11687680Considering they did an Iron Man from that game that shelf warmed, I think that's all you need to know.
>>11687591>>11687596>>11687330>>11687356Something like these oversized jets COULD be displayed by hanging ONE or TWO from a ceiling - although the anon who said you need a dedicated room to do that, is correct. >might as well be statueshitI have far too many actual statues and decided I need to sell some off - of course, now I own way more figures than I did the last time I looked forward to and bought a statue.I'll keep the GOOD small busts and stuff that sized, but the big pieces of shit, I don't really NEED.
>>11687915This never doesn't look tacky as fuck. It's bad enough we're displaying mass market plastic on cheap IKEA shelves. This is just terrible looking.
>>11687915>but the big pieces of shit, I don't really NEEDThen why did you buy them in the first place?
>>11688243Because he wanted them? NTA, but you don't NEED any of these toys. You want them. I swear you guys treat this shit as literal plastic crack that will cause you to die if you're deprived of them.
>>11688261If you watch toy youtubers you will frequently hear them describe toys they need. Their brains are wired in such a way that if they know product is out there and they don't have them it causes them mental anguish until they get it. That is where we are as a civilization. Perhaps this has been trained into us by the corporations as they benefit.

>>11688358He's not actually that great, anon. His feet look weird, don't have pegholes and are shaped oddly so he needs to be posed very specifically to keep from risk of falling over. The holes in his back are distracting if you dont use the wings and if you do use the wings then he takes up a ridiculous amount of space.
>>11688357Why are you idiots so bad at reading comprehension. That's not at all what I implied. Is it because none of you speak English?
>>11688366This boils down to being unable to comprehend English isn't it? When they say the need a figure, they're talking about they need it to complete a collection or a team or something like that. They're not talking about them needing it like they need food or water. The captchas need to be harder to idiot proof retards like you out of this site.
>>11688376Hey you're the one that thought >>11688271 was an endorsement of people using the word need instead of want.
>>11688390I never claimed it was an endorsement, just that you were citing the dumbest examples as to try and further your point.
>>11688407Toytubers are pretty much the biggest case where people will hear someone say they "NEED" a toy, because they are huge addicts. It's a very easy to cite case that comes to mind. Their mindset is disturbing and leads to a hype train of others following suit and buying figures that cost more than they are worth.
>>11688418Once again, I think you are misinterperting what they're actually saying. Of the reviewers I watch, and maybe it's just the ones I watch, they don't come off as addicts. When they claim they "need" a toy, they aren't talking about needing it like an addict needs crack. They're talking about it in reference to needing a particular character if they want to finish off a team. Like for instance, if I want a proper, updated Astonishing X-Men lineup, I'll need to buy the new 2 pack coming out. However, I don't actually NEED to finish off that lineup, I just desire to. See, there's the difference. You're welcome for the English lesson, you can pay with the girl up front.
>>11688464That needfag is probably autistic because he takes everything so literally. Also, not sure what he wants, coming to /toy/ and acting oh so noble with the "you losers and your stupid toys" attitude
>>11687366>What's funny is how many people suggested this as a possible HaslabFor 1/18 scale no one asked for a legends one
>>11688464If you've ever seen a D Hunter video, you know when he says need, he means need.>>11688477I am encouraging you to accept substitutes. Instead of buying Jim Lee Rogue, buy Outback Rogue. Instead of paying a scalper for Psylocke, buy an old Marvel Select Psylocke.
>>11688518There are 1/18th scale Marvel X-Men figures?
>>11688523I have all mine still
>>11685393Thanks, man. I'm probably going to end up grabbing the Mafex Wolverine and Cyclops from Hobby Search shipped via ECMS, though they'll be more like $75 each after the tariff bullshit. If I do, I'll maybe grab the Hellverine off Ali just for the claws, then sell it. Going to keep an eye out for rereleases of Magneto, Storm, and Gambit(original colors) since those blow their Legends counterparts out of the water.
Which way, lads? They're around the same price of $35 each. I really don't like the faces on the mafex and it's going for $100+, so it's an easy pass this time.
>>11688566Left looks like a tranny.

>>11689418>normal human sized bodythe retro version is a 7 foot tall beefcake, what the fuck are you talking about
>>11689421Are you fucking blind?
>>11689436are you? they are barely different heights.
>>11689442NTA but Left is definitely better. The mouth/teeth on the right look ridiculous and I've never seen his mouth drawn like that
>>11689442>BarelyOk so you are blind. Got it. Next time learn not to reply to posts that aren't meant for you, Ranjit.
>>11689455that's why you use the macfarlane headbecause venom with a tongue has always been fucking gayalso the guy complaining about not liking skinny legs on the PS5 venom, the king in black one also has weird skinny legs
>>11689442Wtf are you talking about? The right one's shoulder is at the level of the left one's chest. The right one just has an abnormally large head.
Will you buy DC figures to mix with your Marvel Legends now?
>>11689613Nah, ML would look like horseshit next to my LPZZ Batman
>>11689613Not yet, apparently we have to wait until 2027 to get DC figures in the same style as Marvel Legends
>>11689634These look like comic Marvel Legends to me >>11689568They just have worse articulation.
Im getting a Marvel Legends replacement toy, valued at $60 or greater. What are they going to send me boys?
>>1168981320 eternals figures
>>11689719Yeah, they're going to be shit, but they're going to be the right height. At most I'll pick up a couple of the key characters just to have around.
ML Man Wolf is currently only $25 on Amazon. I've gotten three of these MtG sets now, all for less than $50. Still have to sell my second battle damaged Spidey that Target decided to send me for free.
>>11690051Dont try that with the sexy Sue Storm MtG pack coming as it will sell out and stay sold out even at 46.99
>>11690064Don't tell me what to do.
>>11690072More sexy Sue Storms for the scalpers then
>>11690064>Sue Storm MtGI can't wait to see how they fuck up another Sue Storm
>>11690090What did you think of the movie Sue Storm?
>>11690181It's current era MCU slop. Who fucking cares?
>>11690181Aside from being a shitty movie design, the face was off putting. Barely resembles the actress either (not that that would've helped it any, she's kinda walled). Those figures did something right though, seeing as they were the best selling Legends last year. The fact that the Walgreens Sue still has the best face after nearly a decade is pretty sad.
>>11690192She makes for a great Bonnie Blue.
>>11690181NTA. My only exposure to the new FF is a camrip of the climax scene, and I'll carry that straight out of bollywood slow motion double take zoom in as she screams with me forever. Pack it up, movies are over. Also, she's a hag. An extra bogged hag after filming, too, holy fuck. Absolutely no way FF isn't getting recast in whatever demented plans they have post Secret Wars retcon.
>>11690201Of course, a guy who hadn't seen the film outside of one scene of a shitty camrip surely has the most valuable opinion. Why did you even bother posting? This is a waste of my bandwidth.
>>11690237>Of course, a guy who hadn't seen the filmAnd that's never changing. Sleep with that.
>>11690244I dont care nigga? That's the point. Don't watch it, but don't delude yourself that your opinion has value.
>>11690250This exchange would have never happened if you didn't care.
>>11690250NTA but why are you getting so defensive over a shitty MCU movie?
>>11690201Ngl in retrospect, that Bollywood style editing when she screams while pushing galactus into the portal is funny as hell.
>>11690349Manpreet, we don't know what Bollywood editing is as its not a cultural touchstone here in the West.
>>11690589>WestDo south africans not have YouTube, Onyakumpon?
SILLY BITCH, YOUR WEAPONS CANNOT HARM ME
>>11690731I'M THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!
>>11690731>>11690751God this guy looks great. But I already have the BaF and my X-Bad Guys shelf is crowded enough as it is. Fug
>>11691391He's fucking awesome, but also massive, so space is definitely a factor to consider before picking him up. I'm pretty new to collecting comic book shit, so I can't really speak to how he compares to the BAF. I decided that this is the year I start building an X-Men collection, so picking him up was just a rare instance of getting into the right kind of toys at the right time.
>>11691676I can tell you without even owning him that he's an improvement over the BaF that's now a decade plus old. The BaF, and by extension the one that came in the Colossus 2 pack, isn't a bad figure. But this massive boy is just better. But yeah, between already having a Juggs I'm fairly content with, and lacking the necessary space on my villains shelf, I had to pass. Still, damn nice looking figure.
>>11690751He's firing the punch dimension right at Juggs and it's doing nothing
>>11691748Maybe some snikts from the bub dimension will pry this tin can open!

After seeing what Mattel can do for $24.99 I refuse to buy anymore hasbro products.
>>11691964Good for you. What brand toilet paper do you buy? I can't pick my own you see.
>>11691964Mattel chronicles stuff is $25? If so hasbros in danger.
>>11691964DC figures are going to be lit
>>11692076Wouldn't it be funny if DC dominates with Absolute and then suddenly in toys too? Maybe it will force an actual competition and make Hasbro.......LOWER...prices?Nah cant be.
>>11692155Absolute isn’t the hit they claim it. It’s the same bullshit marketing they pulled death metal.
>>11692157Absolute sells more than DM as far as I have seen
>>11692155>>11691964That DC is keeping their Finest books so cheap while Marvel raised them on their Epics is just killing me.
>>11692180Blame Disney for that
Not sure what the consensus on this Apocalypse was, but I dug him out of the closet tonight and I think he still looks pretty awesome.
>>11692765I thought it was pretty good. It's the Poccy on my shelf. The new made to order big boy looks really good, but he's too big for my current setup so I'm sticking with the retro carded one. I know some people weren't necessarily fans of the colors they chose for it, but I like them.
>>11692765I wish he was pinless and had some paint, but the sculpt is on point.
Got my $25 Man Wolf. Glad I waited for this to go down in price, fuck paying full price for these stupid Tranny the Gathering cards. Does anyone know if the cards themselves are actually worth taking to a shop to sell?
>>11693259I feel like those cards are almost guaranteed to be worth some money in a few years
>>11693259>Does anyone know if the cards themselves are actually worth taking to a shop to sell?Iron Spider and Anti-Venom are the most valuable on paper. You can check Card Kingdom's (or Star City Games, Troll & Toad etc.) buy list to see what you can reasonably expect to get for it. >>11693352Unlike Pokémon, utility is king in Magic. It's entirely possible WotC will print a card that synergizes with one of them, and then the prices will shoot way up.
>>11693465>Iron Spider and Anti-Venom are the most valuable on paperLovely, the two I didn't get...
>>11692195Oh I do. I blame a lot of people. I'm just glad I'm fairly close to closing out the lines I care about.
Got these today - hella excited to open them.I usually went with either Mafex or Figuarts but this Wolverine looked great (it fucking sucks you have to pay the sucker tax and get Silver Samurai with him) but Shumma Gorath, from all the reviews I've watched, looked hella dope
>>11693508Shuma is actually pretty great for what he is imo. I really like him and he spices up my toy room a bit. He's far more expressive than he should be. You won't be disappointed.
I opened Rachel Summers and felt nothing. I opened a Dr. Doom figure and felt nothing. Should I stop collecting?
>>11693532If you're not enjoying your figures, then maybe? Try being more selective, that might help.
>>11692765>>11692904I have largely stuck to the regular size Toy Biz Apocalypse purely due to him being the only figure resembling the Walt Simonson version. Would love to see someone do an update of Apocalypse bases on his first appearance though, when he was thinner and had a Me Fantastic type stretching power as his main power.
Mattel has shit all over hasbro and it’s not even funny
>>11693532I can't remember which wave it was but I bought a full wave and had this feeling the whole wave through. Admittedly that was quite some time ago and some figures are certainly of a higher quality, but I've long since stopped trying to collect them all. I cherrypick though, and am mostly happy with the ones I get, like ROM most recently, who is a pretty great figure.
Welp, finally gonna buy my first Hot Toys figure. He looks so damn good.
>>11693532Don't just buy figures just because they're good. When you reach the point of knowing your priorities, you stop caring in wanting to get everything that catches your eye, even if it's objectively a good figure. It sounds like common sense, but what might be viewed as a good figure by everyone might be something that you never needed in your collection.
>>11693781>Buying figures just because they're goodI never understood this. Like if you're not a fan of the character, why bother buying the figure? I only buy figures of characters that i like, that's why i never worry about FOMO or going broke. I don't even care about "completing the team".
>>11693762Enjoy it falling apart within a few years.
>>11693808I smell jealousy
>>11693818Nah, I'm happy with my CT Toys Agent Venom.
>>11693806For those of us with more obscure tastes we buy less than 3 figures a year. We almost aren't collectors at all
>>11693829Same. I've gone more than a year without buying a figure
>>11693532>wanting to feel something just from owning/opening a toyspending money isn't a hobby, so of course you're not enjoying it.
>>11693722Lol. Lmao even
Finally got my hands on the retro Ghost Rider reissue, good shit
>>11693894too skinnery.
>>11684275>due to us safety standards, that won’t happen LMAOOOOOOO This retard actually believes Hasbro's plastic is shitty and gummy because of “safety standards” and not because hasbro cheaps out hard on everything
>>11693905Can someone explain why soft plastic is cheaper than hard plastic when additional materials, plasticizers, have to be added to make the plastic soft?
>>11694043Yeah, a custom mix like Hasbro's is going to be much costlier than "pure" harder plastics, but it MIGHT be cheaper than previous mixes.Hasbro has been using gummy plastics for so many years it might as well be the 90s, but it's become gummier every other year or 3 to where it is now.People have been bitching about Hasbro's plastics since they took over the Marvel Legends line from toy Biz and Toy Biz also had some pretty rubbery stuff too. Something that people don't really mention is how how much weightier the figures used to be and they're defintely lighter now (but not as light as hard plastics).Whether it's actually cheap or not, it just feels that way, since people prefer hard plastics and Hasbro's were definitely harder before.
>>11694053Lighter plastic is easier to keep standing in poses. Heavy mcfarlane figures topple while light legends remain standing
There was one marvel legend you let get away. What was it?
>>11694086Psy
>>11694043Maybe it's soft not because they add plasticizer, but because it's genuinely cheap plastics
>>11694166Cheap plastic isn't soft, it's brittle
We need more toy posts in this thread.
he's fucking hard to pose but he's awesome
Man I cannot find psylocke and thanos even after the restock at target in NYC. I'm gonna kms.
>>11694700All the scalpers bought it again. They only put out a little over a thousand units, which is nothing. It was probably extra stock, not a true rerun of the pack. Hasbro is still scum and so is Target.
>>11694717This shit is so ass. I hope they never do this exclusive shit again. I don't wanna pay stupid ass prices.
>>11694741This your first time buying toys? It's been like this before you were even born.
>>11694748I'm older than you.
>>11694756You're 40? Bummer.
Jesus Christ these Iron Spider arms are FUCKING terrible. They won't stay on for shit.
>>11694793Sounds like a you problem
>>11694846NTA, but the Iron Spider legs aren't great. I don't have MJ or Peter in the Iron Spider suit, but I have Superior Spidey and those legs are outright terrible. Makes me tempted to get the CT Spock since the legs seem to be closer to AY's Iron Spider legs, which are a million times better imo.
>>11694793That’s crazy how Hasbro has been making toys for almost 100 years and they still can’t make good joints and hinges lol it’s almost as if they still haven’t figured out how to make toys
>>11694846Why defend a corporation over your fellow customers?
>>11694869They like the joints GUMMY at Hasbrohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77wNujaN0x8Hasbro official theme song
>>11692765He's awesome. Since mafex is doing larger villians like doomsday and bane, I wonder if they're gonna eventually release their own verison.
We only live in toys and cartoons. We know nothing about the real world. We are trapped.
>>11694978Even if they don't, that is a perfectly fine scaling for Apocalypse since his size varies a lot and he is usually huge.
>>11694978I'm mostly a Medicom stan, but I don't see them outstripping that Apocalypse, and certainly not at the price they would charge.
I'm starting to see the $28 legends get discounted and clearanced. That price jump was not a great idea.
>>11695382Good
>>11695382My local Targets are still charging $25 for Legends. Even the newest Spidey wave. Gi Joe Classifieds though are at the $28, not sure why they haven't bumped MLs yet, not that I'm complaining.
>>11695426Some stores may be too afraid to go to the new MSRP, thinking they will lose customers - maybe Hasbro gave them a wholesale discount for buying more - or they are just delayed in updating the prices due to corporate sloth
>>11695432That doesn't really make sense since other Hasbro products are being priced at the new price point.
>>11695477Black Series and Classified? Theyre probably ordered in smaller quantities All I ever see on pegs for Black Series are ancient figures and Classified is a more niche line that has a smaller, more dedicated fanbase
>>11695584Classified at my stores. I haven't really looked at Black Series. There's only like a single peg of them now. MLs though remain the same and have just as much shelf presence as Joes do.
What do you think we're getting this month?
When you see an ML you kind of want but 27.99 is more than you want to pay for that character, what do you do?1. Wait for sale2. Buy it anyway
>>11696682I mean you kind of answered your own quetstion. If something is more than I want to pay for a specific character/costume, I won't pay it. A great example is I got Man Wolf recently, wanted him, but didn't want to pay the additional Tranny the Gathering tax so I decided to just pass on it and get it if it ever went on sale. And it did. So it worked out. But at the same time if I never got Man Wolf it wouldn't have been a big deal.
New Thread:>>11696718>>11696718>>11696718
>>11696700You'd be surprised how many times it seems people buy it anyway
>>11696748Sure, that happens. But really, why does it matter? I'll never understand why some of you get so uppity about other people paying for something you personally think is overpriced. To that other person it may not be overpriced. If this board focused more on their own financial situations than that of complete strangers whom they'll never meet, this board would be a lot better off. So, I really don't understand the point of your question tbqh.
