>>11780895At worst it'll be fun bad. And they get points for actually giving a damn about the designs.
Wanted to post this last thread but it hit the limit.
>>11780915>>11780927Can you fuck off? Every AI post is a waste. You contribute nothing, you didn't create anything cool, you're just sliding us closer to the image limit.
>>11780928>Every AI post is a wasteFucking THIS.Not even talking about real toys, not even talented and drawing what you want to see. Just gay ass SLOP.
Chillax, anons. This ain't reddit, ribbit!
>>11780939if you're just going to be an annoying faggot then you may as well kill yourself
Target will not ship or deliver a sketch book man e faces I'm too close and they want me to pick it up BUT my POS beater needs an alignment so I'm not going over an hr round trip for a toy. This is when having a friend or any family near by would be great
>>11780939Fuck off with this pointless trash
Fellas, this is the comfiest thread on /toy/ so let's keep it civil.
>>11780951No, this stuff doesn't stop until it's stomped out.
>>11780915Great job with the ai I personally like all of these but if I can only get one I'd go with the brain guy
I thought Vintage MV was done.
>>11780958Its a big step up from the simple recolors from the last thread.
>>11780969Interesting idea for an alt head, surprised nobody had thought of it before
Look at this chungus. Hope this series last long enough for the big snake men to be made.
>>11780915>>11780927Ignore the shills. They're just trying to control the narrative.
>>11780976This may be the first 200x big-fig I purchase. I just hope it stays together at the waist, unlike the others.
>>11780969Cool.
>>11780966>replying to yourself Pathetic
>>11780048It must feel awful, especially in 2026,to be that white boy,who perceives themselves to be this persecuted
>>11780969I only collect origins, but I'll grab this for that head. Very nice.
>>11780969As a Wundarfag who collects origins exclusively I'm pretty tempted despite the scale difference...
To the anons who have core 2026 movie He-man. What does the vintage origins he-man head look like on that body?
>>11780932>>11780928NTA but I've gotten complaints in the past from posting too many drawings
>>11780969My headcanon for Wun-Dar is that Adam looks exactly like a blond version of him because he fathered Miro on the queen reigning at Eternos Palace before becoming a Cosmic Enforcer. So I'm pleased with this.
>>11781017in all fairness to each party, this is /toy/. I want to see pics of real toys I can buy.
Okay, so, the big fancy 40 buck Battle Cat is for 6.5 scale figures, like the Chronicles line, right? What about those Cartoon Collection figures?
Does anyone have the "core"/first ones battle cat? Id like to see what it looks like next to the origins one>>11781034Cartoon collection is all origins, just half an inch taller. So 6 inches instead of 5.5
>>11781044Thats close enough, right? Though I'll probably just get Chronicles He-Man and not worry about the scale for anyone else...
>>11781029While I understand, it is also the /motu/ general. It makes sense to post Masters art. Going forward maybe the compromise should be catboxing these images.
>>11781049>I come here to see what Mattel is currently peddling, not to interact with you losers
>>11781064You are a simpleton
>>11780915Great post! The AI did a great job translating these to a toyetic form (except Nettra, but that can't really be helped). Truly AI is a wonderful tool for creative people.
>>11780915>>11781081>(except Netta, but that can't really be helped)She looks like a goo jitsu fig. You would be able to stretch her over other figs like to capture them. Also all the dust and lint.
>>11780893Come on sisters. The anon posting AI is getting more (you)s than the one who posted an actual custom. What the heck?
>>11781049Not any of the people you are arguing with and I think there is a time and place for what you are talking about, like the person who was asking about MOTU lore in the last thread or asking about Roger Sweet and/or the MOTU documentary (both of which are definitely toy adjacent), but this isn't a general about MOTU but a "toys from the master of the universe collections general."
>>11781081>Great post! The AI did a great jobSo these are just this loser samefagging right?
Billy Mays here, and I'm going to show you how to be a successful MOTU simp on 4chan.First, only respond to pictures and comments about MOTU products that are currently available at retail or products that are coming soon.Second, only comment in a positive way that doesn't shed a negative light on the company. Finally, kindly FUCK OFF!
>>11781173Yes, anon. You cracked the case. On a side note. I kinda hope this guy gets an actual release. Also that Minatuar HERO was fighting on his card back. Sadly no clear images of it is online.
Report all bitching and shit flinging for trolling and do not engage
>>11781191How about you stop posting AI shit?
>>11781191I’m okay with the translation of concept art using ai. Just try not to spam shit back to back. Feel free to spam the dc thread because it’s shit anyway.

This includes but is not limited to questions about samefags, shills, discord trannies, Pixel Daniel and that fag who doesnt stop talking about his kids. Also no posting Motu media unless it is considered "whimsical" and is currently in print and on sale at Amazon. Can I get a "thank you Daddy Mattel"?
I'm a boomer and don't know how to AI but can someone generate Sydney Sweeny as Teela and Kat Denning as Madame Razz, at the movie premiere eating popcorn out of a $50 popcorn bucket shaped like Skeletor's fuzzy loincloth?
>>11780915>>11780927>>11780939>>11781191Take that shit outta here.
>>11781240Report it for spam if you don’t like it but quit bitching it just derails the thread
>>11781246How about taking pictures of your MotU figures with a camera and having fun with them?
>>11781251There’s room for both. No room for constant bitching.
Mr home arcade has sold me on movie origins. I’ve spent over $700 on movie toys so far.
>>11781255There is no room for AI slop. Ever.
My master plan
>>11781255Why dont you post pics of what you already own instead of imagining (with AI) stuff that isnt real?
>>11781286That’s not me posting dude. You should stop being derailing before you get b&
>>11781291I'm not trying to derail I was trying to turn things around in a positive way.Is it allowed to be tired of the AI and the negativity?
I just realized 200x cc females should fit near perfectly scale wise with core
200x cc man at arms is on sell for $10 at amazon when you apply the coupon. I’ll try this when he comes in Sunday. If you have any interest in the 200x cc I suggest setting up Amazon alerts for the numerous deals.
You guys think they’re ever going to make man at arms and teela white again?
>>11781320Probably. They already un-blackwashed King Grayskull. A series as rooted in nostalgia as MOTU is probably more able to revert to its roots than most.
>>11781173Nope, just wanted to razz the luddies a little. You guys are so easy to work up. I'm old enough to remember similar melties over digital art and CGI so it's all just history repeating itself in a funny way for me.>>11781191Based, looks great.
>>11781320Better question is who is currently teelas biological father. I’m thinking it’ll be skeletor in the movie. I also think they won’t do skeletor as hemans uncle because of that.
>>11781329>teela gets a Luke I am your father moment in the second movieWould be devastating
>>11781308It's crazy how much the movie toys benefit from headswaps
>>11781329this is a good question. Sorceress is picrel so... it could be Fisto. There's not enough melanin for her to be Duncan's.
>>11781211I just got my Regal Rewards email wanting me to buy tickets today for next month, to earn an extra 1000 points. They showed off all the actual promotion stuff and you CAN get Skelly's throne, plus it lights up. I'm sure that beats a fuzzy loincloth?
I would possibly get this, however, since I don't want a throne room for Skeletor in the same room I sleep in
>>11781345There’s no way they’ll do fisto like the 200x series because Duncan isn’t his brother in the movie obviously. The only logical thing to do is make skeletor the father and have him not know. Hell I bet only sorceress and somehow Lyn know the truth.
>>11781354what is your reason for wanting Skeletor to be the baby daddy? feels more likely they'll make Skeletor into Adam's brother for this one.
>>11781352I had to move goatman out of my bedroom display and into my guest room because he looked too demonic at night.
>>11781358>Skeletor into Adam's brotherAnon that makes no fucking sense
>>11781351In case you couldn't tell by my post, I'm a pervert and would actually prefer the loincloth.>extra butter pleaseBut good feng shui to keep demonic stuff out of your room. I'm not even shit posting. A couple years ago we took down the TV off the wall and sleep much better.Side note...just rambling now. But last year I was a customers house for a service call and they had this giant, wall sized fleece blanket of Art the Clown hanging on the wall, opposite the front door so Art's face and a bunch of bloody weapons right there when you walk in. I try not to be judgemental but immediately was judging them for wanting such a grotesque image displayed prominently.
>>11781358Original minicomics had Skeletor being the "dad" who created Teela as a magic clone baby of Sorceress. Theres precedence for it
those old LoP figures go perfect with Sketchbook guys
>>11781372>>11781360I guess? But this is Adam's story. Hence why Skeletor should be his brother, or father. Uncle? not so much... But really my money is on none of this being touched on at all in the movie.
>>11781375I hope so. Skeletor being Adam's uncle was always bad storytelling that required awkward explanations. Also I thought Fisto was canonically Teela's biological father.
>>11781374That Beastman is so underrated.
>>11781374He's pretty much s sketch book series figure as well.
>>11781379>man known for fisting>having a child
>>11781386He'd have to be known to the Sorceress as Peniso.
>>11781379spoiler alert, but if you go back and watch 200X Duncan is very clearly the wounded warrior who "married" the Sorceress and then dips out once she's knocked up. the idea is that he was amnesiac/she erased his memories(?) and Fisto really may have been a deserter.
>>11781404I watched it and no. They clearly imply its Fisto later on but it felt like it wasnt planned to a retcon.
>>11781407right, it's a red herring. if you compare the way they draw the wounded warrior it's a 1-for-1 to Duncan's head shape and looks nothing like Fisto's.
>>11781371>would actually preferDoesn't existBut maybe you can try these, at finer concession stands sooner.
>>11781421what the fuck, I haven't seen these before. where can I buy them like a retard? deadass
You know who has red hair? Fisto.
>>11781423Cinemark
>>11781425but that can't be the only place she gets it from- her mom has the exact same shade of red.
>>11781473and yes, that's just lighting. Teela's hair has the same color palette later in the same episode.
>>11781473Sex with whatever that is on the right
>>11781474for reference
>>11781477What dinosaur is that
Why did new adventures of heman fail boomer bros?
>>11781493have you ever tried watching the cartoon? it's quite bad. it also just looks like a cheap star wars knockoff.
>>11780976I've been hoping they would get around to this fat fuck.
>>11781493Threw out like 98% of MOTU while claiming to be a direct sequel, frequently nonsensical writing and largely uninteresting good guys in a series established upon very wacky heroes. The animation is better than filmation's in a very "we outsourced this to anime studios" sort of way but it lacks the sovl of the original cartoon.
I don't know if its Fisto or Duncan after looking it up I only get posts about people saying the showrunners said it was a redherring. But its really weird they had a red herring and I liked Fisto as her dad for some reason. Maybe because Duncan was already her adopted dad already. Fisto is cool and he already had to fight against his retarded assed name and Kevin Smith and it kind of gave him something oh well. I rewatched it recently so its still fresh in my mind and I care about it a lot for some reason. It was a pretty good show. Mattel havent really done any toy I wanted to buy yet for some reason though. Maybe im just burnt out or the OG toys just looked so much sharper or something. I don't see many people post them here either I hope it does well to get some of the characters Id buy... like Fisto. I really like Fisto.
>>11781017Then you're better than AI guy because you actually make an effort.
>>11781537Instead of complaining post something you like. Or even post about something you like. As an artist I have one billion AI generated big titted Madam Razz toy pictures I will post if you do not comply.
>>11781532I'll be honest, I don't want Duncan to be Teela's biological parent. It feels like saying shitting on adoptive parents by saying they'll never be real mom's and dads without that genetic connection.
>>11781423>>11781438They sell this stuff on-line but some of it is "theater only" exclusive - right now, these aren't listed, but neither are the popcorn buckets and those do get put online for sale:https://shop.cinemark.com/collections/masters-of-the-universe That said, you can just pop-in to a theater while you are at a mall or just nearby and pay for merch without having an actual ticket, because waiting till the movie actually opens for something might mean you don't get it. I learned that the hard way last summer.
>>11781537AI guy makes an effort, you're just morally offended on behalf of some griftoid youtuber who convinced you data centers are going to boil away the ocean.

>>11781664please shut the fuck up, I hate ai too but you're shitting up the thread with your low iq bant.
>>11781672Stop defending low IQ AI posts then.
>>11781596I still want the Frazetta girl clinging to King Hiss's leg to NOT be Lady Slither. She was clearly barefoot with short bracelets and cloth bikini bottoms with a belt of metal discs, not a reuse of Teela's legs and arms with a distaff version of the standard fur loincloth. And King Hiss being a reverse furry who's attracted to human women while wearing a skinsuit is just funny.
>>11781675>King Hiss being a reverse furry who's attracted to human women while wearing a skinsuit is just funnythis, absolutely. we see him with what can easily be assumed is a human woman sex slave in the minicomics. a barefoot origins female would also make me coom.

Got rained out of work today so I went out looking for figs, hit about 8 stores. 2 Targets just Origins Spikors, one had no Chronicles, the other had 2 Tri-Klops. Shelf full of Battle Cats at both.Hit 6 Walmarts, found only Chronicles Trap Jaw, but every store had multiples of Tri Klops and Man At Arms, one store must have had 6 of each. HmmmmmIt’s weird, MAA is usually really popular, you can’t find his Masterverse anywhere but yet here’s a ton of him. Tri-Klops was on of the most sought after expensive Origins til his rerelease, yet I saw a ton of them backing up already. I wonder what happened. It’s almost like I’ve noticed a pattern forming but why are these 2 pegwarming hard already. Can’t put my finger on it.

My interpretation
What's the generally accepted explanation for King Grayskull, if there is one? Was he just born with demigod levels of power and then passed it down through the sword, was he gifted tge power and then passed it down, or is he just one of the dudes in the chain and happens to be more celebrated? Was Castle Grayskull his place and then carried his name after he crooked, or what? As far as I know, the 200x cartoon is still the only real lore for him other than card back bios.
So with vintage Wun-Dar confirmed, I guess Masterverse will release vintage collection Evil-Lyn as its last figure?
this mossman is awesome, I've been sleeping on him>>11782863I actually have no idea now. I guess it depends on if you accept Scott lore where he was the second(?) to weild the power sword or if you wanna go by 200X where he seemingly gathered/channeled all that power himself- passing it and his spirit down through the sword?
>>11782637Hush anon, there's still more Axel OCs from the Powers of Grayskull character sheet I want to see rendered.

>>11783167You're a waste of space
How often was 200x Teela smirking in the show? It just doesn't feel like it fits her character at all.
>>11783181yeah, it's not perfect. no earrings either and I'd argue too tall too. I'd argue this toy is still "good" but it's far from the youthful perky Teela of 200X. I'd call this post-wall Teela.
I picked up Starscream Scareglow at Target for $10. I didn't know he glowed blue! That's pretty neat! This figure was in no way ever worth $30, not sure what the hell they were thinking there.
>>11783243The greed of two toy companies combined do not make for a better toy
>>11783181When she's snarking at Adam. Have your Adam figure laying like he just tripped next to her.>>11783234She's also missing those long hair strands next to her ears. I guess they worried that sculpt would be too complicated.
>>11783181The figure looks awful I won't argue that, but smirking Teela seems to fit her personality from what I remember, granted I haven't watched the show in over 10 years.
>>11783433it would probably fit more play scenarios than a blank expression, soft smile, or a grimace. I'll also take this figure over nothing, I guess.
so I'm all on board for collecting 200X and movie origins now. It feels good collecting mainline again instead of cherry picking CC and waiting for MC drops.
I've only just found out the core movie figures have sculpted furry trunks under their skirts and it's blown my mind. With every variant announced I'm slowly marking out.
>>11783181Her original toy didnt even smirk. Unless they're planning Masterverse or such, i might regret owning this one
>>11783561this new one is a drastic improvement

>>11781170>>11781171>>11781177what's that diorama?
what's the opinion on the kids core line? I've seen them at the supermarket today, also some other kids line but I didn't had time to take a closer look.
>>11783565The sculpts on those original 200X figures are so much nicer. I really wish the origins line didnt skew for animation accuracy.>>11783587I dont own any but all the reviews are warming me upto them. Atleast Mek, Grappling Hook He-man, and translucent Skeletor.
>>11783587I really like posing my toys ... and you won't be able to do that with core since they have no ankles. but they're 10 dollars. so if you don't want to pay 20 for origins or 30 for chronicles, there ya go.
>>11783587Core is a waste of time. Origins is more appealing to kids, has better articulation and has more play ability due to part swapping. If they really wanted to appeal to kids, then they would reduce the price of Origins. If they can sell Core or $10, then Origins should be no more than $12-13.But truth be told, Core isn't meant for kids, it's meant to replace Origins. Core is cheap now, but only until collectors adopt it, then they'll raise the price.
Does anyone have a visual checklist for New Eternia Masterverse figs similar to this vintage one.
>>11783578It's not.You can get plasic cape from upcoming Keldor
>>11783606Never see one but I can just list to you.No POP figures other than She-Ra.No Snakes other than Khan.Horde lacks Multi-Bot, Modulok and Hordak variants.(and Catras and Entrapta)Heroic Warriors lack Adam, Orko, Comet Warriors, Extendar, Rio Blast, Sorceress, Gwildor, Rotar, Tytus and Laser Power He-Man (and Wun-Dar)Evil Warriors lack Dragon Blaster and Laser Power Skeletor, Stinkor, Spikor, Blade, Saurod, Scare Glow, Blast-Attak, and Twistoid
Mighty Spector>AI>>>>>>>>>Axel Snake OCs
>>11783691AI of Spector turned into Snake Man?
>>11783695Snektor Man
>>11783705>>11783695A cyborg snakeman could be cool honestly. Semi-related, I still think they should do snakemen in the sequel to the coming MOTU movie (assuming it succeeds at the box office). Then you can cover the cosmic enforcers and the horde in a potential third installment.
>>11783791that wouldn't be very interesting outside of a neat visual, but I'd still buy it.
>>11783796I'd prefer it to Golden Rod and Blast Attack. Atleast a cyborg snakeman is on theme.
King Skeletor seems like an easy variant for them to do
>>11783791>Then you can cover the cosmicThis would open up the idea of the Mattel Cinematic Universe. Live action Street Sharks, Mighty Max, Hot Wheels: But its just Fast and Furious Again, Poly Pocket, Barbie 2. He-Man and friends would cross over to those universe and the Origins line will get new characters in the line thus ensuring Origins will be on store pegs for all eternity.
>>11783937Ideally I would segregate the boy brands from the girl's brands. If we have to do Mattel Smash Bros, then I'd rather see MOTU, Street Sharks, and Mighty Max mingle with the likes of Max Steel, Big Jim, Hot Wheels, Pulsar, and Matt Mason over Monster High or Barbie. Honestly I've thought this over alot, I even have a whole script in mind for a MOTU movie that'd play into that.
love me podlove me Tri-KlopSimple as
>>11782694Hmm, honestly, I can actually buy and accept that.I don't want any Turtle figures but that so many racists fucks here on 4chan do, now amuses me to no end.

>>11784440people kinda slept on this figure since it was attached to the shitshow
So I'll be honest, I'm not a hardcore fan, my main exposure to MOTU was the 200X cartoon as a kid (which was great, I really should rewatch it) but spurred by the movie trailer looking really quite good and the fact he was available on Amazon I bought Chronicles Skeletor.Holy shit what a figure.>Balljoints for the butterfly shoulders>Proper universal wrists>Ankle swivels as well as boot cuts>Dropdown hips>Triple neck (balljoint going into the neck from the chest and then the head is attached via a double-balljoint)>Chest and waist balljoints can slide out/extend slightly to give better range for extreme poses>ARTICULATED JAWI think I have like, 3 complaints.>1: He doesn't have an actual thigh swivel, though to be fair the balljoint is cut in such a way that combined with the dropdown hips you do get a sort of faux-swivel and it works surprisingly well.>2: The hands are kinda a bitch to swap.>3: I wish he had more hands. That aside he's absolutely god-tier. Goddamn Mattel cooked.
>>11784463For some reason taking a picture of him in your back yard mads me picture him grilling one bbq for all the evil warriors. I only bought Trapjaw for now but I bought him online and the wait is killing me
>>11783686Fuck, I just realised I accidentally missed Grizzlor and Leech. We dont have those either thought Filmation versions do work pretty well.On that note every non-vintage NE figure: LOP Beast Man, Alcala Skeletor with Bone Throne, Vykron, Skelecon, Keldor, Despara, Anti-Eternia He-Man. From pets we only have Panthor.
>>11784363I'm honestly surprised Musk hasnt tried to buy either of them again. He clearly wants IP to compete with Hollywood.

>>11784516It seems that the "can't have 2 white guys on screen at the same time" rule is still in effect. Moss Man - it's nice to see Lou Ferrigno again.Ram Man - If you're going to cast an Asian guy as RamMan, then at least hire a Sumo wrestler.
>>11784502Their elbows and knees not being ungodly tight and covered in mold flash means you are wrong
>>11784565Chink ram-man still annoys the fuck out of me because Slamurai was right there. If we have to hamfist the BK kids club representation atleast use the characters with said representation baked in. Hell now that I think about it they could have just cast this guy as Jitsu too. Masterverse made a hero of him just a few years ago.
>>11784463What happened at mattel to prompt them to up their game so much? It seems like Jakks and Matty are the only companies still giving a shit about their products.
>>11784612I want to say it's because Barbie was really popular and got them a lot of money or something but it's not like popularity/money = effort and people actually caring.
>>11784565Asian as Ram Man works well because they're all manlets and probabaly would install spring legs if they could
>>11784502Something about scupt and proportions and how its cut looks a lot better to me than Masterverse at least.
>>11784612I suspect it probably has something to do with the DC and Tmnt licenses; they know no one is going to buy those lines if they don’t step their game up. This is just a preview. Real question is if they’re gonna apply these kind of joints to WWE too.
>>11784516>>11784533You think Dian stocks will go through the roof in the wake of this movie? How do you think she'll measure up to Rev's attempt to make Andra happen?
>>11784611Anon... Do you really think the one chink they cast for the film is gonna be a ninja...?>>11784654I've accepted Andra, I don't have a problem adding Dian so long as they can give her a fairly unique role on the heroic warriors side...

>>11785768You can't say that unless you're Sunman
>>11785565Stratos'people would be so much cooler of they were actual bird people and not gorillas with feathers and helmets. In general throughout all of MotU I dont know why anyone couldnt make Stratos look cool.Monke and Fishman and Skeleton looks awesome

>>11786126I have 8 blue ones now. Want a grey so much at this point
>>11786204I'm guilty of this. I'd trade knees for ankles but, hey, if the kids like it then I'm happy.
>>11785693Will get it, but feels a tad over designed. Would like it more if they had designed it to link up or at least press up against the fright zone as an expanded ground set
>>11786175>>11786180I love it! The gold Skeletor parts reminded me of NA a bit too. The cherry ontop of this idea would be basing them out of Nordor.
>>11786195>>11786208This is why I share my ideas. You guys always manage to make them cooler. The next one I plan to draw is essentially Anti-Eternia He-man but with a giant cyborg bat glider akin to Turbodactyl.
>>11786204It’s even crazier when you realize the original toys were 5 poa and they’re complaining about articulation on these
>>11785903Going back and looking at all your pics now and this is severely underrated. I would’ve never thought about moving parts from 200x onto core because it shouldn’t work but somehow it looks like it all scales. Good job anon.
Went to a big local comic chain today seeing if they had any MOTU before the movie. They don't even stock the stuff. Thinking that for some like the LCS this is a mistake when casuals love to go look for stuff from their childhood. Like a shit ton of Blokees stuff and an entire wall of unsold PoP. There are three diffent Miku 6" + Chibi articulated ones? Man that is a lot.
>>11785935He's red and blue, so he's already more colorful than He-Man, especially 200X version. >>11785884>Mekaneck lameEveryone's entitled to their opinion, even if it's wrong.

I keep hearing about how these Core figures are such a great deal at $10, but I'd like to inform you that Jakks Pacific released this Sega Shinobi figure with double hinged elbows and knees, ankle articulation, ab crunch, butterfly joints and toe articulation for $9.99. They're listed as 4 inch figures, but they're actually 5 inches.Jakks also had to pay Sega licensing fees. But even with all that, they were able to sell them for $10.Makes you wonder why we have to settle for such limited articulation with motu figures.
Man these look great. Glad they kept Red Sonja going commando like the 6 inch version. Could use a dull coating.
Simpsons x Motu!
>>11785884Come on now, clamp champ isn't cooler than anybody
>>11786443Well you got me there. I will however make the case that Mattel should settle on an official color scheme for He-man. Silver, burgundy, and orange is my favorite but anytime they modernize him they always stick in him silver and black bodysuits.
>>11786539Comparing any company to Jakks at this point is almoat unfair because they've been wiping the floor with the competition for about a decade straight now. Ever since they got Sonic and Mario they more or less became industry leader. Even their DC figures mog the other 5.5. lines on the market. They're playing to win by appealing to tight wallets, kids, and collectors. >Makes you wonder why we have to settle for such limited articulation with motu figuresMattel likes money

>>11787484>Hasbro introduced a toy in 1962 called “Flubber” (tied to the movie Son of Flubber). It was made from synthetic rubber and mineral oil. It had all of the qualities one would want from a toy. It was fun, unusual, inexpensive, and versatile>It also made kids sick. One of the first rules of product design is to try not to kill off the primary users. Unfortunately, Flubber was made of toxic substances that caused sore throats, rashes, and other nasty reactions>By the time Hasbro decided to pull the product off the shelves, more than 1,600 people reported ailments associated with Flubber. This led to a whole new problem: what to do with tons of toxic toys?>The solution was to bury the unwanted inventory under a building on Delta Drive in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Residents maintain that on hot summer days, the smell is still evident, and Flubber can be seen oozing through the cracks in the pavementhttps://commonplacefacts.com/2021/09/26/flubber-toy-flop/

Anyone tried to put the Origins movie He Man on the Chronicles Battle Cat?
>>11787842I’ve seen it done and it looks great. Better than it being on the core version. Couldn’t find the video I saw it on so take a side by side from MHA
>>11787850Good. The Origins one is the best looking movie He Man. The others are too stringy.
>>11787851I’m maining the core line for movie stuff and I agree but core heman looks great in the context of the rest of the line. I think a lot of people itt are sleeping on core. If anyone reading this has kids in their lives you should be buying the next generation those to make new motu fans if you aren’t interested in them personally.
>>11787071Nta but I think motu is under tracking. If it does what I think it’ll have a much bigger second weekend with toy sales exploding in the first 6 weeks so idk if army builders or anything non brown will be on sale at ross in a year
>>11786136How well do these scale with Star Wars black series?

>>11787896I'll be honestly surprised if the movie turns out to be a sleeper hit. Here's hoping. As far as the stuff I want everything besides origins movie-boto is pretty obtainable. Just the core variants of he-man and skelly plus a mekanek. Man I really hopw they do gimmick versions of movie Mek and Ram Man.
Y'all need to have more faith in the Man.
>ACTUALLY buying up and slurping the Live Action soulless slopGenuinely sad. I actually thought you fucks were better than this but here you are drooling and reddit goblin behavior buying up turds
>>11788140Every anon ITT has expressed his like and dislike of the assorted movie tie-in merch, with Origins bros gravitating to the huskier product while others prefer the actor-accurate toys; no one in here is mindlessly consuming and the fact that you have to accuse randos of such speaks volumes of your own insecurities.>Thinking swinging reddit around like a cudgel makes him sound tougherWrong again faggot, pic related is how you slap a bitch (you) with the R-word
>>11788140>reddit goblin behaviorReddit is for shilling, not consooming.4chan is not consooming, occasionally shills are exposed on here.
I recently opened Panthor Man. I think he's pretty great and fun to pose.I also got the Sketchbook Man-E-Faces. I think he's alright. The colors and design are nice, just a bit mixed about his tunic and alt faces.
>>11785693Looks way too big for what the Slime Pit should beHonestly I'll just probably stick with the vintage one.
>>11786731Fuck off CC, you thread ruining cunt
>>11787200Even if it flops, I'll rest easy knowing we might be able to get a few more years of Origins. The end goal of the line should be remaking every character from Classics, and time permitting more Thundercats and maybe Bravestarr.
>>11788316>every classics figuredisagree, since classics had a lot of stinkers.(standor, spector, 200X randos,) I'd rather they just make as much as possible. There's still plenty of CC left to do, minicomics, but all of that is secondary to my beloved sketchbook series.
>>11788342If they don't remake everything from Classics, then there's no point. And mini-comic Stratos almost killed the line entirely.
>>11788145It's just a troll dont feed it.
>>11788348Minicomic Stratos WAS a Classics figure. I think I'd rather have Pigboy than him.I dont think longest line in MOTU history should be seen as bare-minimum especially concidering they're doing so many figures that werent in Classics.Should they do unfinished NA line-up again?
>>11788051Brian May from Starfleethttps://youtu.be/5lC54X5Gc1Q
My find at Ross yesterday.
>>11788365No, it really is that autistic and is so devoid of value in its life that it has to project its insecurities on to MOTUChads it cope with it's shame.
>>11788316I still believe Thundarr is overdue for an origins crossover. His core cast is smaller than Thundercats' and you could knock them out in one wave. Warner owns him too, they should just make it happen.
>>11788368Does anybody know if these larger vintage styled Masterverse figs scale any better with the 2011 Bandai Lion-O?
>>11788316>>11788342>>11788348>>11788366If you make "remake Classics" your criteria, you might as well give up right now because it's pretty damn obvious that's not gonna happen. We've seen what they prioritize over the last 6 years...creative new was to make the same vintage guys over and over and kitbashed OCs they came up with just last night to reuse the existing parts library, with an occasional fan fav sprinkled in once in a blue moon. Personally, I don't give a shit what Classics did or didn't do, I just want characters I like.
>>11788434I want the Mighty Spectre.
>>11786569Man, I wished they had done something different for the vintage MV, like make these colors instead of New Eternia again but less stuff. A very light gray and light blue stratos would have looked neat. They still have a chance with Ram Man and Man E Face, so Matty if your lurking on here, pleas make these recolors.
>>11788593Line's dead with VC Evil-Lyn. We're not even getting Trap Jaw let alone those two high tooling goobers.
>>11788593>>11788625it's crazy watching you MV fans now getting antsy about if THIS line will complete the vintage or not.
Awesome comparisons thank you. Im trying to find me a dang Skel knight. The design just looks too cool to pass up. Unfortunately no one near me has them went to 3 targets today because online all said "limited stock" figured id roll the dice. Nothing. Lots of he-mans and battle cat. Couple teelas. Nobody else. Im guessing everyone is buying up the skel knights to army build.
>>11788381A Thundarr wave would be fantastic! Need the main 3 as normal figures + MOTU armor and maybe one or two MOTU figs OC donut steel cosplaying as them.
>>11788145Braindead consoomer soigolems are hopelessYou wonder why this shit get's worse every time
>>11788708$11 on Amazon rn
>>11788625>>11788664If they're going ahead with Wundar and Evil lyn, I think they're just going to do them all anyways. It's basically a recolor of the existing MV fig with maybe a new head. Cheap and Walmart keeps MOTU in there stores as an exclusive.
>>11788714Exactly! I can leave the villains as long as I get the main trio aswell. It really is a shame nobody's ever given Thundarr the red carpet treatment in anycase. I've been marathoning the series over and over again ever since it got added to Tubi. For how few villains get a chance to appear twice they're all so memorable and distinct. Mindok should have been a recurring bad guy.
Found these today at Ross
>>11788841With the CC 200x Skeletor, I'd hope with finally get a Disco recolor. They robbed us of one from the vintage Origins 200x Skeletor, I really want one to ride on this horsey. Fuck Jistu.
I love when companies do notMotU stuff. Although I guess the only other one I can think of is Mythic Legions
>>11788867I had to look this up to see if it was real and damn I wish I collected toys back then.
>>11788867I really want Ice Armour He-man from CC. He actually did appear in the cartoon for one episode. Theres not enough ice themed guys.
What are these version 2s? It's not the variants like the leaked stealth heman right?
>>11788944>Although I guess the only other one I can think of is Mythic LegionsQuite a few do, but most are not this involved. 4H does it because they have a good working relationship with Mattel. This one is alright. Teela isn't my favorite here, but A for effort and CBS does good work>>11788957Likely is
>>11788957that's exactly what it is. stealth heman and a transparent skeletor.

>be at Goodwill shopping for cheap bookends>decide to check toy section while I'm there>see weird vehicle among the broken nerf guns and naked dolls>do search>turns out to be a vintage Battle Ram>no projectiles, but spring still works>stickers peeling off a little, but mostly intact>tabs on the sky sled stressed to hell, but it clips in>$4I guess I'm a 5.5" collector now? There was also a Sy-Klone they wanted a buck for, but I passed on it. My question is this: Does any company make cheap knockoffs of MOTU anymore? I was shocked to see Zoloworld and Formo Toys asking $30+ a fig.
>>11789580Based
>>11789526Ok nevermind that's kinda neat
>>11789451I cant deny that. Aquaman numbers would be a miracle for this project frankly.>>11789458Do the chinese still watch American movies? I'd assume they would have turned their backs on American output after the last few years.
>>11789570>leaving behind sy-klonegay>Does any company make cheap knockoffs of MOTU anymore? I was shocked to see Zoloworld and Formo Toys asking $30+ a fig.If you're lucky you can still find some of the super7 5.5 figures at ROSS. Vintage MOTU figs are also plentiful, cheap, and abundant granted you're willing to clean them up. I've hesitated to mention this but just looking up "90's action figure lot" on ebay and filtering for lowest price nets alot of bootleg MOTU results. Sungold Troll Warriors, various bootleg wrestlers, etc all for 8 to 15 bucks.
>>11789659Sy-Klone's best years were behind him. I've heard the Funko figs have a bunch of problems with limbs breaking at the joints? I was kind of hoping to run down to the corner drugstore to grab a crappy plastic muscleman, but I guess I'll try hitting some flea markets and the like.
Passing on mondo heman but definitely getting MAA especially since he should scale great with chronicles heman.

>>11789706The funko releases did but the Super7 ones seem to be alot sturdier going off oline reviews. You really cant go wrong with those ebay listings in anycase. Even beater figures deserve love after all. May fortune find you in your local flea markets.
>>11790005Or just release an alt head, FORMO figs are modular aren't they
>>11790212Oh yeah, keep forgetting that. I have yet to pull one apart.
How long before we can expect to see the core he-man and skeletor variants on pegs?
>>11789706I’m trying to remember, I think it was the first wave of those Funko Savage DC figures that had problems. This post stirs up some memories, I remember during the vintage days riding my bike up to a drugstore called Little Bucky’s and for around $6 I could buy 2 MOTU type figures to add to the ranks. It was a lot of the Remco ones like Warrior Beasts or the Warlord series. A cool looking monster guy with gnarly head. K-Mart on the other side of town had the Sun Man guys and there was this little family owned meat market that was around since the 40s had stuff like the Galaxy Warriors. We had it so good back then!
>>11790550>I think it was the first wave of those Funko Savage DC figures that had problems. It affected all of the Savage lines. DC, MK, SF, Horror, and the earlier Son of Zorn. Some figures were fine and some would break easily.Batcave is a must own
>>11790614>batcavethat's the only one I bothered with. it's fantastic and my home for sketchbook figures.
