Gonna be Halloween soon. Think I’ll get the 3-1 haunted house this year for real.Shills can’t skeleton.
I built a tank
>>119095802017 one is kinda better imo. Internal space aside I feel like its profile is less ridiculously tall. That opaque cockpit piece is nice thougheverbeit. Would be nicer if it wasn't a sticker.
Still kinda surprised how I keep on discovering new prints and such in the wild
>>11909593nothing beats the 2008 one>actually a large set>only $50 at the time, 600 pieces>new ones were almost the same price and not even half the pieces
>>11909645It's still kind of got the same problem as >>11909580 where the cabin is too tall and narrow. Also, AIDS clones.
>>11909643Hot take: 2x2 computer slopes are best when they don't have recognizable numbers or letters on them.
>>119096513D clone wars was a mistake>clean P1s and P2s with no more than rank markings are superior to legionfag fanon
>>11909663As in an alien language? I wonder how easy it is to print on these slopes, especially the grainy ones
>>11909673No, I mean this >>11909643is obviously a calculator/ cash register print, whereas if it was just a grid of buttons and a differently-colored display screen, the possible uses would be greater.
>>11909561Actually she does most of her raping in the dungeon.
>>11909651It's a non-issue really.
>>11909679Keyboards are still a bit scarce, Ibwanna know how printing would do
I still think we need 1 thick multiple wide versions of the plate with a pin in the middle, would be very useful, even if it has to be a 3d printer part or whatever, I wanna see it realised.
>>11909990Like we have 1 and now 2 pins on one plate tiles, why not that but with it being 1 thick, good greebling on vehicles or a general attachment point.
Posted this in the other lego thread but i might as well chuck it out here also: I recently rediscovered my old lego bin and i want to do full M-Tron and Ice Planet builds but i don't want to sell both my kidneys and my firstborn to do it.Are there any recasters/resin printer shops that makes the pieces for those sets?
>>11909990
>>11910007Yes exactly>only 1 fucking set>it’s NINTENDOSHITno wonder why I’ve never seen this one irl what an embarrassment>>11910000checked, you need big wheel, the glass, or something else, just write down a vague list of parts you think you need replicas for, the Magnets are the only ones thay you can’t really get without them being genuine but the rest has stls on places like rebrickable and some other sites https://rebrickable.com/parts/2426c01/technic-rack-winder-complete-assembly/
>>11910052>Magnets are the only ones thay you can’t really get without them being genuine but the rest has stls on places like rebrickable and some other sitesCool, thanks!
>>11910061Only reason why I got a fair handful of magnets one time was due to pure luck, besides them some troubles may arise from some of the odder pieces like getting the corner pieces printed right but I wish you well on your space journey, and that you can make mocs with what you have and will have.
why are there so many generals again I thought we were free
>>11910145Because god forbid we discuss new lego sets on the lego general. >Buh buh my spammers!Having two seperate threads is nothing but spam you dumb nigger.
>>11910149Thanks for bumping the thread
>>11910149>you bloody bastard>you ARE the bloody bastard saar!
When are we getting more Fortnite sets?
>>11910217Fuck off.
>>11910221What the fuck?
>>11910228You heard me lady.
>>11910145>>11910217>>11910228This is the thread for posting pictures of your actual Legos that you actually own, actually.
>froggy trying the same shit to ruin this for everybody elseSo tiresome, wish he got a kiwi page.
>>11910228>hUh?
I had the bright idea of buying all the parts from an expensive set separately instead of just buying the set directly.>dealing with multiple bricklink sellers>over half of them get the orders wrong/incomplete>keep having to create new orders for missing bricks>some lazy farts take an entire week to ship a single bubble envelope >bricks range from decent to literally caked in dust and gunkVS. paying shipping a single time with no hassle of missing parts and all of the bricks being in pristine condition.I'll take the 50% markup next time, holy fucking shit.
Posted in the shill thread too so Lego can see but I’m furious about this shit.Never have I ever broken a shield. Went to give kid link a hylian shield and the deku shield snapped off in his fucking hands like an egg shell.
>>11910410I thought lego fixed brittle brown 10 years ago kek.
>>11910411It's brittle reddish-brown now, chud.
>>11910419>>11910411It’s fucking bullshit is what it is!
>>11909708Its still kinda funny how rare the old brown blank heads are
Scored this for $100. Was very dusty, and missing like 15 pieces. Took it apart, rinsed all the pieces, and put it back together, replacing the missing pieces out of my own stock. Also came with the original speed regulator, cables, and track (16 curved, 8 straight). How'd I do?
>>11910052>>11910061>>11910063Wait, are you guys talking about this kind of magnet? 'Cause I didn't think they were rare at all; just eBay a few old Hogwarts Express sets of the right era and you'll have a handful for under $100. If you count all the ones in assembled traincars I must have like 40.
>>11910652Forgot pic lol
>>11910652Yeah I looked it up and they're like $2-3 each on BrickLink; just order a bunch from a seller who has a lot of them and forget about it.
>>11910653>>11910652Yeah they aren’t exactly common, especially to get in bulk
>>11910410Only the best is good enough :)
>>11910628All that for a hundred bucks sounds like a steal, but you had to work for it so I'd say you did alright.Beautiful train nonetheless.
Do the sonic minifigures look better in person...? 20 years ago I would have died for these, but now that they're actually here I cannot help but feel like they look really off/weird for some reason.
>>11910851The proportions are just terrible. This is why I hate licensed minifigures in general. They come from a variety of different sources of all different art styles and proportions, so they just don't work when forced into wonky Lego minifigure proportions. It doesn't help that nu-Lego design philosophy puts realism and accuracy first over everything else, which clashes with the very design of minifigures since their proportions are insane and nonsensical compared to a human or any other toy based on the shape of a human body like action figures.
>>11910628Nice find anon especially for that price. I have 4565 and 4559 on the way am also looking for 10223 but the prices are way too high. After I finish my castle project and few more things Im going back to trains
Idk what I’m gonna do tomorrow besides a few specific events, don’t think I’ll get more lego but not fully sure
>>11909665clean p1's are consistent with aotc but i genuinely cant remember if there are any clean p2's in rotsclosest are the ones with grey markings iirc
>>11910851Eh, it doesn't even have any of the good characters aside from Knux. Sonic, Robotnik and Tails in shitty nu-age designs. I'm sure it's what Sega let them have but it's just not very interesting.
>>11909580Nice reference.
>>11910000As I mentioned in the other thread, most of the pieces those sets use are common and cheap enough that's it's probably easier to just get them on bricklink than messing around with 3d prints (a lot of those sets are just made out of the standard bricks and plates any Lego collector inevitably ends up having loads of). Not sure how you'd do the printed pieces with a 3d printer anyway, unless you intend to get stickers for them, but buying the actual printed pieces would probably be only marginally more expensive and look better. The pieces you would want to print are a few specific ones that are very rare and expensive. The most obvious ones are the big transparent quarter-dome pieces, but also stuff like this damn thing: >>11910063 (common in trans dark blue, but only ever produced in trans neon orange for two sets).
30 years later and I finally got my hands on one of these.
>>11910594They're also pretty cheap, 20-30c on Bricklink.>>11910628Grandpa Robert would be proud
>>11910851>>11910863Would you like Fabuland bodies more? But that looks more childish.
>>11910851Silver is goated.Only "bad" one is Tits the Bat because she doesn't have her boob line.
>>11910980>neonFaggot
>>11911242Trans orange would get confused with the other trans orange that isn't fluorescent. IIRC the official name for the color is transparent reddish orange, which is an accurate description, but neon orange/green highlights that those two colors are made out of LISA plastic. Also, I've seen trans neon orange/green being used for years without anybody complaining or being confused at what colors they refer to. What's with this recent push against them?
>>11911404>this recent push against them?Pretty sure it's just me.Anyway, don't like historical revisionism, simplas. Nobody calls pre-2004 light grey "greenish light grey", do they, they call the zoomer one "light bley".Also, using official colour guide names is gay reddit shit. There's a colour that's light blue, we all know it's light blue, but it has to be "mEdIuM blue" because there's a bajillion lighter pastel blues that each showed up in one set apiece. Y'know what shade of blue is actually "medium"? Regular fucking blue.
I don't like Dark Blue anywhere outside of Hidden Side. It's an unsettling color.
>>11910929most of the P2s in the 2D clone wars were plain with only a few exceptions and I mainly want them for that and for pre 2008 nostalgia
One time I was a t a bricks and mini figs and there was a wierd kid there with his family, as he was sifting through the bins he kept muttering weird stuff like” Lego is a bad company and when I’m ceo I’m going to make it worse/ I love America and the troops because that’s what it means to be American/ I’m going to make bad Lego sets like adolf brickler”(that last one was funny I did laugh a bit) and his dad is in earshot of all this and didn't say anything to him.
>>11910217it's insane how there's like 40,000 characters in Fortnite and Lego does like a couple per set yeah that's enough they need to stop at some pointI'm sure the 3D models are easy to transfer over to reality molds, and the torso/Lego print artwork is DONE. reminds me of Animal Crossing and those head molds are done, they could easily paint new faces on them, but nah 2 characters is enough for a $80 set they need to stop at some point. Able Sisters is okay with just the one sisters they need to stop at some point and not even make a new print on the same mold for the other sister
>>11911718That’s way too sexo for Lego. That belly button doh. Hnnnng
>>11910893That is a very nice train collection, anon! I always wanted 4565 as a kid. Not sure why you're getting a third copy of 4559, though. Also that environment makes you seem like an attic-dwelling goblin, install some drywall or at least paint the plywood FFS
>>11911042Nice, anon! Not sure I'm all that into the Time Cruisers styling, but I'd build something sick with that watertight hull.
